Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to hair cosmetics.
Background Art
[0002] In recent years, for the purpose of maintaining a three-dimensional hairstyle, an increasing number of people are using a hard styling agent (so-called hard-type styling agent), which has usually been used for short hair, for medium hair and curly hair including permed hair.
[0003] When a hard-type styling agent is used for medium hair and curly hair, there is a problem that it takes time to apply the styling agent to the entire hair, and the hair hardens during setting, making it difficult to style.
[0004] In addition, when a hard-type styling agent is used on hair with a damaged cuticle on the hair surface and a damaged internal structure of the hair (so-called high-damage hair), there is also a problem that the hair gets caught on the fingers and breaks during setting.
[0005] To solve these problems, various countermeasures have been taken. For example, a technique has been developed in which a hard-type styling agent and a styling agent with excellent combability are mixed and then used on the hair.
[0006] Patent Document 1 discloses a hair cosmetic composition containing a water-soluble polymer compound, one or more selected from the group consisting of glycerin and / or its derivatives, saccharides and / or their derivatives, polyalkylene glycols, and a C5-C10 1,2-alkanediol, which suppresses the stickiness and film feeling of the hair and has excellent texture.
[0007] Patent Document 2 discloses a hair cosmetic composition containing specific amounts of (A) diglycerin, (B) sugar alcohol, (C) resin, and water-soluble thickener, with the contents of (A), (B), and (C) ranging from 15 to 40% by mass, as a technology that provides excellent hair styling and re-styling power, set retention, no stiffness, and improved moisturizing power. [0008] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2004-155724 [Patent Document 2] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2011-6358 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0009] The present inventors have investigated whether it is possible to combine a hard-type styling agent that has excellent setting power and hairstyle retention with a styling agent that is easy to create hairstyles with and that allows fingers to run smoothly through the hair when applied, thereby combining these functions.
[0010] However, simply mixing existing agents has not been able to produce an agent that combines the setting power and durability required to set hair and create hairstyles, with ease of styling and excellent smoothness.
[0011] Although the invention of Patent Document 1 prevented hair from becoming sticky, it did not provide satisfactory quality in terms of ease of styling, setting power and durability. The invention of Patent Document 2 can style hair, but it does not have the setting power to make the hair stand up and create a hairstyle, and the ease of styling and smoothness of running fingers through the hair are not of satisfactory quality.
[0012] For these reasons, an object of the present invention is to provide a hair cosmetic that has the ability to raise hair to create a hairstyle and the durability of the hairstyle, has moderate slow-drying properties and excellent smoothness when applying to hair, and can easily form hair bundles even for medium-length hair and highly damaged hair. Further, an object of the present invention is to provide a hair cosmetic that does not cause flaking even when passed through a hairbrush after hair styling, has restyling properties, and is excellent in washability.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0013] The present inventors intensively studied to solve the above problems. As a result, they found that the above problems can be solved by a hair cosmetic having the following composition, and thus completed the present invention. The present invention is, for example, the following [1] to [7].

[Effect of the Invention]
[0021] The hair cosmetic of the present invention has a setting power and durability of a hairstyle capable of raising the hair to create a hairstyle, and also has a moderate slow-drying property and excellent combability during hair application. It is easy to form hair bundles even for medium hair and highly damaged hair. Furthermore, the hair cosmetic of the present invention does not cause flaking even when passed through a hairbrush after hair styling, has re-styling properties, and is also excellent in washability. [Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention]
[0022] Next, the hair cosmetic of the present invention will be specifically described. [Hair Cosmetic] The hair cosmetic of the present invention contains 0.1 to 9% by mass of a polyhydric alcohol (B) and 1 to 25% by mass of at least one polymer selected from the group consisting of a nonionic polymer (C), an anionic polymer (D), and a cationic polymer (E).
[0023] In addition, the content of each component in the present invention indicates the content when the hair cosmetic is 100% by mass. The hair cosmetic of the present invention preferably further contains 0.1 to 10% by mass of a nonionic surfactant (A).
[0024] The present inventor has succeeded in achieving both the setting power and the durability of the hairstyle that can lift the hair and create a hairstyle, which have not been achieved so far, and the moderate slow drying property and the good feel when passing fingers through the hair when applying the agent, by blending a specific amount of at least one polymer selected from the group consisting of a nonionic polymer (C), an anionic polymer (D), and a cationic polymer (E) and blending a specific amount of a polyhydric alcohol (B).
[0025] And the present inventor considers that by using the polymer and the polyhydric alcohol in combination, plasticity can be imparted to the polymer, the agent can be made soft, and furthermore, an appropriate slow drying property and the difficulty of generating flaking can be imparted.
[0026] <Polyhydric alcohol (B)> The hair cosmetic of the present invention contains 0.1 to 9% by mass, preferably 1 to 5% by mass, of a polyhydric alcohol (B).
[0027] By containing the polyhydric alcohol (B) in the above amount, the hair cosmetic of the present invention can impart a moderate slow drying property, a good feel when passing fingers through the hair, and a gloss. If the polyhydric alcohol (B) is less than the lower limit amount, the feel when passing fingers through the hair may deteriorate, and if it is more than the upper limit amount, the setting power tends to deteriorate.
[0028] The polyhydric alcohol (B) is preferably at least one component selected from the group consisting of sugar alcohols and polyoxyethylene methyl glucosides. Examples of the sugar alcohol include monosaccharide sugar alcohols and disaccharide sugar alcohols. Specific examples of the sugar alcohol include monosaccharide sugar alcohols such as sorbitol, xylitol, erythritol, and mannitol; and disaccharide sugar alcohols such as maltitol.
[0029] Among these, the sugar alcohol is preferably a monosaccharide sugar alcohol and a disaccharide sugar alcohol, more preferably maltitol and sorbitol, and even more preferably maltitol because of its particularly excellent setting power, hair style persistence, and finger combability.
[0030] As the polyoxyethylene methyl glucoside, the average number of moles of ethylene oxide added to the polyoxyethylene methyl glucoside is preferably 10 to 20. Specific examples of the polyoxyethylene methyl glucoside include polyoxyethylene (10) methyl glucoside (also referred to as methyl gluceth-10 in the present invention) and polyoxyethylene (20) methyl glucoside (also referred to as methyl gluceth-20 in the present invention).
[0031] Among these, as the polyoxyethylene methyl glucoside, methyl gluceth-10 and methyl gluceth-20 are preferable, and methyl gluceth-10 is more preferable. In the present invention, the polyhydric alcohol (B) is preferably at least one selected from maltitol, sorbitol, and methyl gluceth-10, and since it is particularly excellent in setting power, hair style persistence, and finger combability, it is more preferable that the polyhydric alcohol (B) is at least one selected from maltitol and methyl gluceth-10.
[0032] In the hair cosmetic of the present invention, it is more preferable to use maltitol and methyl gluceth-10 in combination as the polyhydric alcohol (B) because it is particularly excellent in setting power, durability of hair style, and smoothness when passing through fingers.
[0033] When maltitol and methyl gluceth-10 are used in combination, the mass ratio of maltitol to methyl gluceth-10 (maltitol / methyl gluceth-10) is preferably 0.5 to 1.0, more preferably 0.5 to 0.8.
[0034] In the hair cosmetic of the present invention, when maltitol and methyl gluceth-10 are used in combination, it preferably contains 0.1 to 5% by mass, more preferably 0.5 to 1.5% by mass of maltitol, and preferably 0.1 to 5% by mass, more preferably 1.0 to 2.0% by mass of methyl gluceth-10. The polyhydric alcohol (B) may be used alone or in combination of two or more.
[0035] <Polymer> The hair cosmetic of the present invention contains at least one polymer selected from the group consisting of a nonionic polymer (C), an anionic polymer (D), and a cationic polymer (E) in an amount of 1 to 25% by mass, preferably 5 to 20% by mass, more preferably 8 to 15% by mass.
[0036] In the hair cosmetic of the present invention, from the viewpoints of the hard setting power that can form hair bundles and make the hair stand up firmly from the roots, the durability of the hair style, the smooth operability, and the smoothness when passing through fingers during hair application, the nonionic polymer (C) is more preferable.
[0037] The hair cosmetic of the present invention contains a specific amount of polyhydric alcohol (B) and a specific amount of a polymer, and thus has a hard setting force and hair style sustainability. Compared with the prior art, flaking is less likely to occur, and reshaping property can also be imparted. Although the reason is unclear, the inventor considers that by blending a specific amount of the polymer and a specific amount of polyhydric alcohol (B), the softness of the agent and appropriate slow drying property are imparted, which may be related to good hair compliance.
[0038] <Nonionic polymer (C)> The hair cosmetic of the present invention preferably contains 1.0 to 25% by mass, more preferably 5 to 20% by mass, and still more preferably 8 to 15% by mass of the nonionic polymer (C).
[0039] Examples of the nonionic polymer (C) include copolymers of vinyl pyrrolidone and other nonionic monomers such as polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl acetal, polyurethane polyurea, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, vinyl pyrrolidone / vinyl acetate copolymer, cellulose polymers such as hydroxyalkyl cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, polyglycerin, polyvinyl alcohol, pullulan, guar gum, poly N,N-dimethylacrylamide, poly N-vinyl acetamide, poly N-vinyl formamide, poly(2-alkyl-2-oxazoline), etc.
[0040] Specific examples of the nonionic polymer (C) include (vinyl acetate / vinyl pyrrolidone) copolymer (also referred to as (VP / VA) copolymer in the present invention), polyvinyl pyrrolidone, and (dimethylacrylamide / hydroxyethyl acrylate / methoxyethyl acrylate) copolymer.
[0041] Since the nonionic polymer (C) is excellent in setting power and the durability of hairstyles, it is preferably at least one component selected from the group consisting of a (VP / VA) copolymer, polyvinylpyrrolidone, and a (dimethylacrylamide / hydroxyethyl acrylate / methoxyethyl acrylate) copolymer. Among these, the (VP / VA) copolymer is more preferable because it is excellent in setting power and the durability of hairstyles, and also has good combability and ease of styling. The nonionic polymer (C) may be used alone or in combination of two or more.
[0042] <Anionic polymer (D)> The hair cosmetic of the present invention preferably contains 1.0 to 25% by mass, more preferably 5 to 20% by mass, and still more preferably 8 to 15% by mass of the anionic polymer (D).
[0043] Examples of the anionic polymer (D) include crosslinked polyacrylic acid, (acrylates / alkyl acrylate (C1-30)) copolymer, and vinyl polymers.
[0044] Specific examples of the anionic polymer (D) include (alkyl acrylate / diacetone acrylamide) copolymer aminomethylpropanol (in the present invention, aminomethylpropanol is also referred to as AMP), (acrylates / beheneth-25 methacrylate) copolymer, (acrylates / alkyl acrylate (C1-18) / alkyl (C1-8) acrylamide) copolymer AMP, and (acrylates / alkyl acrylate (C1-18) / alkyl (C1-8) acrylamide / hydroxyethyl acrylate) copolymer AMP.
[0045] Since it has excellent setting power and hair style durability, the anionic polymer (D) is preferably at least one component selected from the group consisting of an (alkyl acrylate / diacetone acrylamide) copolymer AMP, an (acrylates / beheneth-25 methacrylate) copolymer, an (acrylates / alkyl acrylate (C1-18) / alkyl (C1-8) acrylamide) copolymer AMP, and an (acrylates / alkyl acrylate (C1-18) / alkyl (C1-8) acrylamide / hydroxyethyl acrylate) copolymer AMP. Among these, the (alkyl acrylate / diacetone acrylamide) copolymer AMP and the (acrylates / beheneth-25 methacrylate) copolymer are more preferable because they are particularly excellent in setting power and hair style durability. The anionic polymer (D) may be used alone or in combination of two or more.
[0046] <Cationic polymer (E)> The hair cosmetic of the present invention preferably contains 1.0 to 25% by mass, more preferably 5 to 20% by mass, and still more preferably 8 to 15% by mass of the cationic polymer (E).
[0047] Examples of the cationic polymer (E) include polyquaternium-4, polyquaternium-11, polyquaternium-46, polyquaternium-68, polyquaternium-69, polyquaternium-72, and a (laneth-40 maleate / sodium styrene sulfonate) copolymer.
[0048] Since the cationic polymer (E) excels in setting power, hairstyle durability, smooth operability, and ease of passing through hair during application, it is preferably at least one component selected from the group consisting of polyquaternium-4, polyquaternium-11, polyquaternium-46, polyquaternium-68, polyquaternium-69, polyquaternium-72, and (laneth-40 / maleic acid / sodium styrene sulfonate) copolymer. Among these, polyquaternium-69 is more preferable because it is particularly excellent in setting power and hairstyle durability. The cationic polymer (E) may be used alone or in combination of two or more.
[0049] <Nonionic surfactant (A)> The hair cosmetic of the present invention preferably contains 0.1 to 10% by mass, more preferably 1 to 5% by mass of the nonionic surfactant (A).
[0050] The hair cosmetic of the present invention preferably has a mass ratio (A / B) of the nonionic surfactant (A) to the above-mentioned polyhydric alcohol (B) of 0.04 to 4, more preferably 0.3 to 3, and even more preferably 0.5 to 2.0.
[0051] The hair cosmetic of the present invention is preferable because it can impart moderate slow drying property, good ease of passing through hair during application, and good wash-off property by containing the nonionic surfactant (A).
[0052] The inventor considers that when the nonionic surfactant (A) is used in combination, it can impart appropriate plasticity to the above-mentioned polymer while having a hard setting power and hairstyle durability, so it is easy to apply to hair and can also impart an appropriate slow drying property.
[0053] The nonionic surfactant (A) preferably has physical properties of being liquid or paste-like at 25°C from the viewpoints of moderate slow drying property and ease of passing through hair during application. The nonionic surfactant (A) includes, for example, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester, polyethylene glycol monostearate, polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil, polyoxyethylene glyceryl triisostearate, and the like.
[0054] Specific examples of the nonionic surfactant (A) include Solbeth-30 tetraoleate, PEG-30 hydrogenated castor oil (in the present invention, polyethylene glycol is also referred to as PEG), PEG-20 hydrogenated castor oil, PEG-10 hydrogenated castor oil, glyceryl PEG-20 isostearate, and polysorbate-20.
[0055] Since it is excellent in rinsability, moderate slow drying property, smoothness to the touch, and ease of styling, the nonionic surfactant (A) is preferably at least one component selected from the group consisting of Solbeth-30 tetraoleate, PEG-30 hydrogenated castor oil, PEG-20 hydrogenated castor oil, PEG-10 hydrogenated castor oil, glyceryl PEG-20 isostearate, and polysorbate-20. Among these, Solbeth-30 tetraoleate is more preferable because it is particularly excellent in rinsability, moderate slow drying property, smoothness to the touch, and ease of styling. The nonionic surfactant (A) may be used alone or in combination of two or more.
[0056] It is more preferable that the hair cosmetic of the present invention uses Solbeth-30 tetraoleate as the nonionic surfactant (A) and maltitol and methyl gluceth-10 as the polyhydric alcohol (B) in combination, because it imparts excellent setting power and is particularly excellent in rinsability, moderate slow drying property, smoothness to the touch, and ease of styling.
[0057] When the hair cosmetic of the present invention uses sorbeth-30 tetraoleate, maltitol, and methyl gluceth-10 in combination, sorbeth-30 tetraoleate is preferably contained in an amount of 0.1 to 5% by mass, more preferably 0.5 to 1.5% by mass. In this case, maltitol is preferably contained in an amount of 0.1 to 5% by mass, more preferably 0.5 to 1.5% by mass, and methyl gluceth-10 is preferably contained in an amount of 0.1 to 5% by mass, more preferably 1.0 to 2.0% by mass.
[0058] When sorbeth-30 tetraoleate, maltitol, and methyl gluceth-10 are used in combination, while imparting excellent setting power, the reason for being particularly excellent in wash-off, moderate slow drying property, combability, and ease of styling is unknown. However, the present inventor believes that the above three components act in a complex manner to exhibit particularly excellent effects. Specifically, it is considered that the branched structure and hydroxyl groups, etc. in each component in a specific amount are involved in the setting power and the persistence of the hair style, and having an appropriate hydrocarbon part imparts oily characteristics and is involved in excellent combability and slow drying property.
[0059] <Water> The hair cosmetic of the present invention contains water. The hair cosmetic of the present invention preferably contains water in an amount of 65 to 90% by mass, more preferably 70 to 85% by mass, and even more preferably 70 to 80% by mass. Specific examples of the water include tap water, ion-exchanged water, purified water, natural water, and distilled water, and ion-exchanged water is preferred.
[0060] <Other Components> The hair cosmetic of the present invention can contain additives such as solvents, thickeners, humectants, crude drugs, pH adjusters, chelating agents, preservatives, antioxidants, cooling agents, vitamins, proteins, fragrances, antibacterial agents, and pigments within a range that does not impair the effects of the present invention, in addition to the above components. For the hair cosmetic of the present invention, for example, ethanol can be used as a solvent, carbomer can be used as a thickener, and triethanolamine (TEA) can be used as a neutralizing agent for carbomer.
[0061] When the target dosage form of the hair cosmetic of the present invention is in the form of a gel, for example, it preferably contains carbomer in an amount of 0.01 to 1% by mass and triethanolamine in an amount of preferably 0.2 to 1% by mass. When carbomer and triethanolamine are in the amounts within the above ranges, the agent tends to be in the form of a gel and is excellent in the ability to form bundles, slow drying property, and reshaping property.
[0062] <Manufacture, etc. of hair cosmetics> The hair cosmetic of the present invention can be produced by, for example, stirring, mixing, heating, dissolving, emulsifying, dispersing, etc. in a known method, except that the above-described components are used in the above-described amounts, and the production method is not particularly limited. As the production method, in order to uniformly mix the components, it is preferable to produce the hair cosmetic of the present invention under heating conditions, for example, under heating conditions of 75 to 85°C.
[0063] 〔Dosage form〕 Examples of the state of the hair cosmetic of the present invention include a mist form, a gel form, a liquid form, and a milk form. Among these, the hair cosmetic of the present invention is preferably in the mist form and the gel form, and more preferably in the gel form from the viewpoint of improved slow drying property, good feel when passing through fingers, and excellent wash-off property. Examples of the appearance of the hair cosmetic of the present invention include a cloudy appearance and a transparent appearance.
[0064] <Use> The use of the hair cosmetic of the present invention is not particularly limited. For example, it can be used by applying the agent on the hair after stretching it on the palm, or it can also be used by spray-applying it on the hair.
[0065] The hair cosmetic of the present invention is preferably used by applying it to dry hair with no moisture or the like adhering thereto after hair washing and semi-dry hair. The hair cosmetic of the present invention has no particular limitation on the length of the hair to which it is applied, but since it has both a high setting power that can raise the hair to create a hairstyle, a moderate slow-drying property, and good combability, it can be suitably used not only for short hair but also for medium hair, wavy hair, and highly damaged hair.
[0066] For the hair cosmetic of the present invention, after uniformly spraying water on the stiffened hair bundle after hair styling using a sprayer or the like, it can be restyled. Further, the hair cosmetic of the present invention is less likely to cause flaking even when passed through a hairbrush after restyling.
