AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing ventilation and air-conditioning systems in buildings face challenges such as high energy consumption, non-uniform temperature distribution, risk of harmful substance diffusion, and discomfort due to circulating air that does not effectively manage odors and bacteria within and between rooms.

Method used

A ventilation and air-conditioning system with independent control of air supply and exhaust mechanisms in each room, utilizing positive and negative pressure modes, combined with heat exchange and sterilization/deodorization, to manage air circulation and quality within buildings.

Benefits of technology

The system achieves energy-efficient, comfortable, and healthy indoor environments by effectively managing air circulation, preventing harmful substance diffusion, and maintaining uniform temperature and air quality across rooms.

Abstract

To provide a ventilation air conditioning system configured to: normally save energy and achieve a pleasant space having a uniform temperature and good air quality; if a toxic substance is introduced or generated, prevent diffusion to another space while quickly exhausting the toxic substance; and effectively utilize the heat and air quality of return air.SOLUTION: An air intake unit 16 and exhaust means 19 are provided to multiple rooms in a building. Multiple air blowing units 13 for blowing air with multiple ducts 17 are provided to the air intake units 16. A return air path which merges from the multiple exhaust means 19 and returns air to the air blowing units 13 is provided. Indoor air is circulated inside the building by the air blowing units 13. An outdoor air introduction path having an opening / closing mechanism is connected to the return air path. Exhaust means 26 for exhausting air outdoors and having an opening / closing mechanism 27 is provided to the multiple rooms. Switching is possible to exhaust air outdoors independently for each of the multiple rooms while circulating outdoor air and indoor air in the building.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
