[Technical Field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a generator having a novel structure that utilizes hydraulic power to generate electricity efficiently underwater. [Background technology]

[0002] Conventionally, known generators include high-speed generators driven by gas or steam turbines, low-speed generators driven by water wheels, synchronous generators using various engines as prime movers, and low-speed generators driven by wind turbines. Furthermore, Patent Document 1 (JP 2007-82386 A) describes a generator that uses centrifugal force. This generator generates electricity using, as its energy source, torque generated by the interaction between gravity, which is generated by centrifugal force, and a rotating disk. [0003] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2007-82386 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0004] A typical structure of a conventional generator includes a coil formed by winding a conductor, a magnet placed close to the coil, a rotating shaft fixed to the center of the coil, and a drive means for rotating the rotating shaft, and generates electrical energy through electromagnetic induction between the coil and the magnet. The rotating shaft attached to the magnet is connected to the drive means, and the current generated by electromagnetic induction between the magnet and the coil rotated by the drive means flows through the conductor connected to the coil to, for example, a storage battery and is stored there. Conventionally, it has been important for such generators to ensure efficient rotation of the magnet. The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and provides a generator having a novel structure that utilizes the force of water (hydraulic power) to generate electricity efficiently underwater. [Means for solving the problem]

[0005] The generator of the present invention is a generator that obtains electrical energy through electromagnetic induction between a coil and a magnet, and is equipped with a rotating shaft that drives the coil or the magnet, and further equipped with a rotating shaft drive unit consisting of a pair of bellows pump chambers and a pair of piston chambers, each of the pair of piston chambers is provided with a piston, and each piston is connected to the rotating shaft by a crankshaft so that when one rises the other falls, the pair of piston chambers are electrically connected at their lower ends, the lower part of one of the bellows pump chambers is connected to the upper end of the other piston chamber via a pipe or the like, and the lower part of the other bellows pump chamber is connected to the upper end of the other piston chamber via a pipe or the like, and the upper ends of the pair of bellows pump chambers are each equipped with a drain tower and a sliding door, and the sliding door is configured so that when one is open the other is closed. In a generator configured as described above, the rotary shaft drive unit is placed underwater together with the generator. At this time, the sliding door of one bellows pump chamber is open, and the sliding door of the other bellows pump chamber is closed. Water enters one of the bellows pump chambers through the opening, and the resulting water pressure compresses the air, pushing down the piston in one piston chamber and pushing up the piston in the other piston chamber. The raised piston in the other piston chamber pushes air against the upper end of the other bellows pump chamber, discharging it from the chamber into a drain tower. Next, when the sliding door is switched between open and closed, the sliding door of the other bellows pump chamber is opened and the sliding door of one bellows pump chamber is closed, water enters the other bellows pump chamber through the opening, and the water pressure compresses the air, pushing down the piston of the other adjacent piston chamber and pushing up the piston of one piston chamber. The piston of the pushed up piston chamber pushes the air against the upper end of the adjacent bellows pump chamber and discharges it into the discharge tower. In this way, opening and closing the pair of sliding doors moves the pair of pistons up and down, thereby rotating the rotary shaft. [Effects of the Invention]

[0006] The generator of the present invention has a rotating shaft drive unit with a novel structure in which the rotating shaft is rotated by the force of water (hydraulic force), and has good power generation efficiency. [Brief explanation of the drawings]

[Figure 5] 1 is a perspective view of a generator installed underwater according to a first embodiment. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0008] Hereinafter, the embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to examples. [Example]

[0009] A first embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. A generator is a machine that obtains electrical energy through the electromagnetic induction effect between a coil and a magnet. Electromagnetic induction is the phenomenon in which an electric current is generated in a conductor by moving the conductor in a magnetic field. There are generators such as those used in bicycles, which generate electricity continuously through electromagnetic induction by rotating a magnet inside a coil (conductor), and those in which a coil rotates in a magnetic field, where the rotating shaft is an important element.

[0010] The generator of this embodiment has a portion of the rotating shaft 1 that drives the coil or magnet inside the generator 10 (generator body), and further has a rotating shaft drive unit consisting of a pair of bellows pump chambers 21, 22 and a pair of piston chambers 31, 32. Pistons 33, 34 are provided in the pair of piston chambers 31, 32, respectively. Each piston 33, 34 is connected to the rotating shaft 1 by crankshafts 35, 36 so that when one piston rises, the other falls. The pair of piston chambers 31, 32 are electrically connected at their lower ends. The lower part of one bellows pump chamber 21 is connected to the upper end of one piston chamber 31 via a connecting part 4 such as a pipe, and the lower part of the other bellows pump chamber 22 is connected to the upper end of the other piston chamber 3 via a connecting part 42 such as a pipe. At the upper ends of the pair of bellows pump chambers 21, 22, drainage towers 23, 24 and electrically operated sliding doors 25, 26 are provided, respectively, and the sliding door 25 is configured so that when one door is open, the other door is closed.

[0011] In a generator configured as described above, the rotating shaft drive unit, together with the generator body 10 and the rotating shaft 1, is installed underwater below the water surface 12. At this time, the sliding door 25 of one bellows pump chamber 21 is open, and the sliding door of the other bellows pump chamber is closed. Therefore, water 11 enters one bellows pump chamber 31 through opening 27, and the resulting water pressure causes air in bellows 29 to push down piston 33 in one piston chamber 31 and push up piston 34 in the other piston chamber 32. The pushed-up piston 34 in the other piston chamber 32 pushes air against the upper end of the other bellows pump chamber 22, discharging the air from this chamber into the atmosphere via drain tower 24. Next, when the sliding doors are switched between open and closed, sliding door 26 of the other bellows pump chamber 22 is opened and sliding door 25 of one bellows pump chamber 21 is closed, water 11 enters the other bellows pump chamber 22 through opening 28, and the resulting water pressure compresses the air in bellows 30, pushing down piston 34 of the other adjacent piston chamber 32 and pushing up piston 33 of one piston chamber 31. The pushed-up piston 33 of one piston chamber 31 pushes air up to the upper end of the adjacent one bellows pump chamber 21, and the water 11 that entered the chamber from the opening in the previous operation is discharged to the outside through discharge tower 23 (see FIG. 1).

[0012] Next, the sliding door 25 of one bellows pump chamber 21 is opened, and the sliding door 26 of the other bellows pump chamber 22 is closed, in the same state as when the rotating shaft drive unit is installed underwater together with the generator main body 10 and the rotating shaft 1. As a result, water 11 enters one bellows pump chamber 31 through the opening 27, and the resulting water pressure causes the air in the bellows 29 to push down the piston 33 of one piston chamber 31 and push up the piston 34 of the other piston chamber 32. The pushed-up piston 34 of the other piston chamber 32 pushes water up to the upper end of the other bellows pump chamber 22, where it is flushed out into the atmosphere via the drain tower 24 (see FIG. 2).

[0013] In this way, by repeatedly opening and closing the pair of sliding doors, the pair of pistons are raised and lowered, which in turn rotates the rotary shaft, thereby generating electricity. The generator of the present invention has a rotating shaft drive unit with a novel structure in which the rotating shaft is rotated by the force of water (hydraulic force), and has good power generation efficiency. FIG. 5 shows another example of this embodiment, in which drainage towers 23, 24 are configured to connect to underground drainage pipes 19, 20. [Explanation of symbols]
