Abstract

To appropriately display a video in a video reproduction device which enables various changing in an external input video.SOLUTION: This video reproduction device comprises: a reproduction unit that reproduces music information; an external video input terminal that can input an external input video; a processing unit that can output a processing unit formed video formed by the processing unit or a vide formed on the basis of the processing unit formed video and the external input video as a processing unit output video; and a switch unit that includes an output terminal that can output the video to a display unit, and that can switch a state between a first stage and a second state. In the first state, the external input video is output from the output terminal without passing through the processing unit. In the second stage, the processing unit output video output from the processing unit is output from the output terminal. When the music information is reproduced by the reproduction unit in the first state, switching processing is performed to switch from the first state to the second state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
