Claims
1. a first acquisition unit that acquires the last day of a dosing period designated for a target drug that is to be determined as to whether it should be dispensed or made available for removal from the drug storage device; a second acquisition unit that acquires the expiration date of the target drug from a storage device that stores expiration dates of drugs stored in the drug storage device; a determination unit that determines whether a relationship between the expiration date obtained by the second acquisition unit and the final date obtained by the first acquisition unit satisfies a predetermined condition.
2. The device according to claim 1 , wherein the predetermined condition is that the expiration date acquired by the second acquisition unit is before the last date, is on or before the last date, or is on or before a specified date that is later than the last date.
3. The device described in claim 1, further comprising a determination unit that determines the target drug as a drug that will not be dispensed from the drug storage device or a drug that cannot be removed when the determination unit determines that the expiration date acquired by the second acquisition unit satisfies the specified condition.
4. The device described in claim 3 is provided with a transmitting unit that transmits information regarding the target drug that the determination unit has determined to be a drug that will not be dispensed or cannot be removed from the drug storage device to at least one of a first device that can dispense or remove the target drug and a second device that assists in removing the target drug from the storage location.
5. The device described in claim 3 or 4, further comprising an alarm unit that notifies the user that the target drug determined by the determination unit as a drug that will not be dispensed or cannot be removed from the drug storage device will not be dispensed or cannot be removed from the drug storage device.
