[0010] An embodiment of a facility utilization support device of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. In this embodiment, the facility utilization support device supports a reservation process when a manufacturer M of equipment such as a sensor rents a test space from the owner of an operating plant P to conduct a demonstration test of the equipment using a belt conveyor, which is equipment installed in the operating plant P.
[0011] <Configuration of a facility rental system using a facility utilization support device according to one embodiment> 1 is a block diagram showing the configuration of an equipment rental system 1 using a facility utilization support device according to one embodiment of the present invention. The equipment rental system 1 is a system that performs processing for concluding an equipment rental contract between the owner of an operating plant P and a manufacturer M that will conduct demonstration tests of equipment using facilities installed in the operating plant P.
[0012] The facility rental system 1 includes a user terminal 10 and a facility use support device 20. The user terminal 10 and the facility use support device 20 are connected to each other so as to be able to communicate with each other via, for example, a general-purpose wide area communication network 30.
[0013] Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of the operating plant P. Belt conveyors BC1, BC2, BC3, and BC4 are installed as equipment within the operating plant P. The belt conveyors BC1, BC3, and BC4 are installed so that their longitudinal axes are parallel to each other, and the belt conveyor BC2 is installed so that its longitudinal axis is perpendicular to the belt conveyors BC1, BC3, and BC4.
[0014] Returning to Figure 1, the user terminal 10 is used by a manufacturer's staff member (hereinafter referred to as "manufacturer's staff member") who conducts demonstration tests on the equipment, and has an input unit 11, an output unit 12, a first communication unit 13, and a first CPU 14.
[0015] The input unit 11 inputs information about operations performed by a manufacturer's personnel. The output unit 12 is configured, for example, by a display device, and outputs information sent by the first CPU 14, as will be described later. The input unit 11 and the output unit 12 may be configured by a touch panel.
[0016] The first communication unit 13 communicates information with the facility use support device 20 via the wide area communication network 30 .
[0017] The first CPU 14 is, for example, a CPU (central processing unit) provided in a general-purpose microcomputer, and by installing and executing a specified equipment utilization program, constitutes an information processing unit that performs reservation processing when using equipment for equipment demonstration testing and processing for viewing test data for the demonstration testing.
[0018] The facility use support device 20 is communicatively connected to the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4 installed in the operating plant P, and to equipment installed on any of the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4 for conducting a demonstration test as will be described later. The communication between the facility use support device 20 and the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4, and the communication between the facility use support device 20 and the equipment installed in the operating plant P may be wired communication or wireless communication.
[0019] The facility use support device 20 includes a storage unit 21, a second communication unit 22, and a second CPU 23. The storage unit 21 includes a reservation information storage unit 211, a facility information storage unit 212, a facility operation information storage unit 213, and a test data storage unit 214.
[0020] The reservation information storage unit 211 stores information about the period for which rental use has already been reserved for each of the partial areas within the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4.
[0021] The equipment information storage unit 212 stores equipment information relating to each of the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4, specifically, specification information and the like for each of the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4.
[0022] The equipment operation information storage unit 213 stores information indicating the operation status of each of the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4. The information stored in the equipment operation information storage unit 213 may be information indicating the past operation status acquired from the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4, or may be operation schedule information, which is information indicating the future operation status of each of the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4, set in advance by the manager of the operating plant P.
[0023] The test data storage unit 214 stores, as test data, information such as measurement results acquired from devices installed on the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4 for the verification tests.
[0024] The second communication unit 22 communicates information with the user terminal 10 via the wide area communication network 30 .
[0025] The second CPU 23 is, for example, a CPU (Central Processing Unit) provided in a general-purpose microcomputer, and configures one or more information processing units described below by installing and executing a predetermined facility lease management program.
[0026] The second CPU23 has an input / output control unit 231, a reservation period acquisition unit 232, an equipment information acquisition unit 233, an operation information acquisition unit 234, a rental cost acquisition unit 235, a reservation support information generation unit 236, a reservation processing unit 237, and a test data acquisition unit 238.
[0027] The input / output control unit 231 inputs information transmitted from the user terminal 10 and outputs information to be provided to the user terminal 10 .
[0028] The reservation available period acquisition unit 232 refers to the information stored in the reservation information storage unit 211 and acquires information on the period during which reservations can be made for each of the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4.
[0029] The equipment information acquisition unit 233 acquires the equipment information stored in the equipment information storage unit 212 regarding each of the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4.
[0030] The operation information acquisition unit 234 acquires information indicating the operation status of each of the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4 stored in the equipment operation information storage unit 213. The rental cost acquisition unit 235 calculates the rental cost of each of the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4 based on the information acquired by the operation information acquisition unit 234.
[0031] When the reservation support information generation unit 236 acquires information on the desired usage period of the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4 for equipment demonstration testing from the user terminal 10, it identifies an area of the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4 that can be used during the desired usage period. The reservation support information generation unit 236 also acquires information indicating the operating status of the equipment to which the identified area belongs via the operating information acquisition unit 234. The reservation support information generation unit 236 generates reservation support information including identification information of the identified area and information indicating the acquired operating status.
[0032] Furthermore, as will be described later, when an area is provisionally selected from the identified areas, the reservation support information generation unit 236 acquires equipment information regarding the belt conveyor to which this provisionally selected area belongs via the equipment information acquisition unit 233, and also acquires information on the rental costs of the provisionally selected area via the rental cost acquisition unit 235, and adds these to the generated reservation support information.
[0033] When the reservation processing unit 237 acquires a reservation request specifying any area by providing the reservation support information, it confirms the reservation by generating reservation information for this area and storing it in the reservation information storage unit 211. The reservation processing unit 237 generates a reservation confirmation notice regarding the confirmed reservation and transmits it to the user terminal 10.
[0034] The test data acquisition unit 238 acquires operation status information from the equipment installed on the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4 for the verification test, and stores it in the test data storage unit 214. Furthermore, when the test data acquisition unit 238 acquires a test data request requesting result information of the verification test from the user terminal 10, it acquires the test data stored in the test data storage unit 214 and transmits it to the user terminal 10.
[0035] <Operation of the equipment rental system according to one embodiment> 3A and 3B are sequence diagrams showing the reservation process executed between the user terminal 10 and the facility utilization support device 20 when a manufacturer rents a test site from the owner of an operating plant P to conduct a demonstration test of equipment.
[0036] When a manufacturer's representative operates the input unit 11 of the user terminal 10 to input information on the desired usage period as a usage condition for conducting a demonstration test of the equipment, the first CPU 14 acquires the information of this operation ("YES" in S1) and transmits it to the facility usage support device 20 via the first communication unit 13 and the wide area communication network 30 (S2).
[0037] In the facility use support device 20, the input / output control unit 231 acquires the information on the desired use period transmitted from the user terminal 10 via the second communication unit 22 and sends it to the reservation support information generation unit 236. Upon acquiring the information on the desired use period, the reservation support information generation unit 236 requests the reservation available period acquisition unit 232 for information on the reservation available periods for each of the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4.
[0038] Based on a request from the reservation support information generation unit 236, the reservation available period acquisition unit 232 refers to the information stored in the reservation information storage unit 211, acquires information on the period during which reservations can be made for each of the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4, and sends the information to the reservation support information generation unit 236. Based on the information acquired from the reservation available period acquisition unit 232, the reservation support information generation unit 236 identifies an area of the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4 that can be used during the desired usage period.
[0039] The reservation support information generating unit 236 also requests the operation information acquiring unit 234 to provide information indicating the operation status of the equipment to which the identified area belongs.
[0040] Based on a request from the reservation support information generation unit 236, the operation information acquisition unit 234 acquires information indicating the operation status of the equipment to which the identified area belongs from the equipment operation information storage unit 213, and sends the information to the reservation support information generation unit 236. The reservation support information generation unit 236 calculates the operation rate for each area based on the acquired information indicating the operation status for each area.
[0041] Based on the identification information of the identified area, the acquired information indicating the operating status, and the rental fee information, the reservation support information generation unit 236 generates, as reservation support information, screen information in which an overhead view of the operating plant P, specifically a diagram in which figures indicating each of the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4 are arranged in accordance with the installation positions of each of the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4 within the operating plant P, is highlighted more strongly for areas identified as available for use during the desired usage period, the higher the operating rate. The reservation support information generation unit 236 transmits the generated reservation support information to the user terminal 10 (S3).
[0042] In the user terminal 10, the first CPU 14 acquires the reservation support information transmitted from the facility use support device 20 and causes the output unit 12 to display it (S4).
[0043] 4 is a screen configuration diagram showing an example of reservation support information output to the output unit 12. In this reservation support information, areas identified as available for use during the desired usage period within the diagrams of the belt conveyors BC1 to BC4 are highlighted.
[0044] Specifically, areas identified as available for use during the desired usage period, namely, a portion of area AR1 within belt conveyor BC1, a portion of area AR2 within belt conveyor BC2, a portion of area AR3 within belt conveyor BC3, and a portion of area AR4 within belt conveyor BC4, are highlighted.
[0045] Here, the belt conveyor BC1 to which area AR1 belongs and the belt conveyor BC2 to which area AR2 belongs have higher operating rates than the belt conveyor BC3 to which area AR3 belongs and the belt conveyor BC4 to which area AR4 belongs. In this case, areas AR1 and AR2 are more useful than areas AR3 and AR4 in that they can efficiently obtain the test data required for verification testing in a short period of time. For this reason, areas AR1 and AR2 are displayed in colors close to primary colors, while areas AR3 and AR4 are displayed in lighter colors, etc., so that areas AR1 and AR2 are more strongly emphasized to attract attention than areas AR3 and AR4.
[0046] When the manufacturer's representative visually checks the reservation support information output on the output unit 12 of the user terminal 10 and performs an operation on the input unit 11 to provisionally select one of areas AR1 to AR4, for example, area AR1 ("YES" in S5), the first CPU 14 sends a detailed information request including identification information of this provisionally selected area AR1 to the facility utilization support device 20 (S6).
[0047] In the facility use support device 20, the reservation support information generation unit 236 acquires the detailed information request sent from the user terminal 10. The reservation support information generation unit 236 requests the facility information acquisition unit 233 to provide facility information on the belt conveyor BC1 to which the identification information "Area AR1" included in the acquired detailed information request belongs. The reservation support information generation unit 236 also requests the rental fee acquisition unit 235 to provide information on the rental fee for this "Area AR1."
[0048] The facility information acquisition unit 233 acquires the facility information of the requested belt conveyor BC1 from the facility information storage unit 212 and sends it to the reservation support information generation unit 236.
[0049] The rental cost acquisition unit 235 acquires information on the rental costs for the requested area AR1 for a predetermined period (e.g., one month). This rental cost information is a value calculated so that the higher the operating rate of the belt conveyor to which each area belongs, the higher the rental cost information. The rental cost acquisition unit 235 may calculate and store the rental costs for each area for a predetermined period at a predetermined timing, or may calculate the rental costs for a predetermined area at a timing requested by the reservation support information generation unit 236. Alternatively, the rental cost acquisition unit 235 may pre-store information on the rental costs for each area that the owner of the operating plant P sets and inputs based on the operating rate of each belt conveyor.
[0050] The rental cost acquisition unit 235 sends the acquired information on the rental costs for area AR1 to the reservation support information generation unit 236.
[0051] The reservation support information generation unit 236 transmits the equipment information of the belt conveyor BC1 acquired from the equipment information acquisition unit 233 and the rental cost information of the area AR1 acquired from the rental cost acquisition unit 235 to the user terminal 10 as detailed information about the provisionally selected area AR1 (S7).
[0052] The user terminal 10 adds the detailed information about the area AR1 transmitted from the facility use support device 20 to the reservation support information displayed in step S4 and displays it (S8).
[0053] The manufacturer's representative tentatively selects any of the highlighted areas AR1 to AR4 in the displayed reservation support information, and compares the detailed information of these areas by displaying the detailed information. Each time the manufacturer's representative tentatively selects a new area ("NO" in S9) until the manufacturer's representative confirms the reservation for any of the areas, the processing of steps S5 to S8 is repeated.
[0054] Alternatively, the reservation support information generation unit 236 may acquire facility information and rental fee information for all areas identified as available for use during the desired use period in step S4 and generate reservation support information. By displaying each piece of information in this way, the manufacturer's representative can visually check and compare detailed information for each area on the same screen without having to perform a tentative selection process.
[0055] The manufacturer's staff member compares the detailed information of each area, determines, for example, area AR2 as the area to reserve, and performs an operation on input unit 11 of user terminal 10 to request a reservation for area AR2.
[0056] When an operation to request a reservation for area AR2 is performed on the input unit 11 ("YES" in S9), the first CPU 14 transmits a reservation request including identification information of the confirmed area AR2 to the facility use support device 20 (S10).
[0057] In the facility use support device 20, the reservation processing unit 237 acquires the reservation request transmitted from the user terminal 10. In response to the acquired reservation request, the reservation processing unit 237 generates reservation information for the desired usage period acquired in step S3 for area AR2 and stores it in the reservation information storage unit 211. When the reservation information is stored in the reservation information storage unit 211, the reservation for area AR2 by manufacturer M is confirmed. When the reservation for area AR2 is confirmed, the reservation processing unit 237 generates a reservation confirmation notice and transmits it to the user terminal 10 (S11).
[0058] In the user terminal 10, the first CPU 14 causes the output unit 12 to output the reservation confirmation notice acquired from the facility use support device 20, thereby notifying the manufacturer's person in charge.
[0059] Thereafter, the facility utilization support device 20 transmits a request for additional information regarding the reserved utilization to the user terminal 10 (S12). The additional information is detailed information required by the owner of the operating plant P when conducting a demonstration test, such as whether on-site inspection work is required before installing the equipment, the installation period for the equipment, the person who will install the equipment, etc.
[0060] When the user terminal 10 receives the additional information request from the facility use support device 20, the first CPU 14 displays an input screen for the additional information on the output unit 12 (S13). The manufacturer's staff inputs the additional information from the input unit 11 in accordance with the information on the displayed input screen.
[0061] When the additional information is input ("YES" in S14), the first CPU 14 transmits the input additional information to the facility use support device 20 (S15). When the facility use support device 20 acquires the additional information transmitted from the user terminal 10, the reservation processing unit 237 issues information on a contract between the owner of the operating plant P and the manufacturer M regarding the use of area AR2 by the manufacturer M, and transmits the information to the user terminal 10 (S16).
[0062] In the user terminal 10, the first CPU 14 acquires the contract information acquired from the facility use support device 20 and displays it on the output unit 12 (S17). By visually checking the displayed contract information, the manufacturer's staff member can recognize that a contract regarding the use of area AR2 by manufacturer M has been concluded.
[0063] An operator of manufacturer M installs the equipment to be tested in area AR2 at the reserved date and time according to the procedure described above, and performs a demonstration test. Operation status information of the installed equipment is acquired by the test data acquisition unit 238 of the facility use support device 20, and is sequentially stored as test data in the test data storage unit 214.
[0064] Here, the operating status information of the equipment acquired by the test data acquisition unit 238 is, for example, mechanical operating data such as the current value, torque value, operating speed of the drive unit, generated fault signals, etc. The test data acquisition unit 238 may also acquire environmental data such as temperature, humidity, wind direction, wind speed, and rainfall inside and outside the operating plant P when the equipment is operating, and add it to the test data and store it.
[0065] During or after the demonstration test, when a manufacturer's staff member performs an operation to request viewing of test data on the input unit 11 of the user terminal 10, the first CPU 14 transmits the request to view the facility use support device 20.
[0066] When the facility use support device 20 receives a viewing request from the user terminal 10, the input / output control unit 231 obtains test data from the test data storage unit 214 via the test data obtaining unit 238 and transmits the test data to the user terminal 10.
[0067] In the user terminal 10, the first CPU 14 acquires the test data transmitted from the facility use support device 20 and displays it on the output unit 12. This allows the manufacturer's staff to view the test data.
[0068] [Effects of the embodiment] According to the embodiment described above, the facility utilization support device comprises an operation information acquisition unit that acquires information indicating the operation status of each of a plurality of managed facilities; a reservation period acquisition unit that acquires information regarding the period during which utilization reservations can be made for each of the plurality of facilities; and a reservation support information generation unit that, upon acquiring information regarding the desired utilization period of the plurality of facilities for conducting equipment demonstration tests, identifies an area within the plurality of facilities that can be utilized during the desired utilization period based on the information acquired by the reservation period acquisition unit, acquires information indicating the operation status of the facility to which the identified area belongs from the information acquired by the operation information acquisition unit, and generates and outputs reservation support information including identification information of the identified area and the acquired information indicating the operation status.
[0069] This allows users to be provided with information on areas that are available during the desired period of use, along with information on the operation of equipment within the plant, thereby providing assistance in easily and appropriately completing the reservation process for equipment to conduct demonstration tests of equipment to be used within the plant.
[0070] Furthermore, the reservation support information generation unit generates reservation support information for the specified area based on information indicating the operation status, including information on rental fees calculated so that the higher the operation rate of the equipment to which the specified area belongs, the higher the rental fee. As a result, the area with a higher operation rate and capable of efficiently obtaining test data required for demonstration testing in a short period of time can be provided with information on rental fees that are set higher, thereby providing support for appropriately executing reservation processing for equipment in the plant.
[0071] The reservation support information generator generates reservation support information that includes facility information about the facility to which the identified area belongs, thereby providing the user with information that is useful when selecting an area to make a reservation.
[0072] The reservation support information generator also generates screen information as reservation support information that arranges graphics representing each of the multiple pieces of equipment according to the installation location of each piece of equipment and highlights the identified area, allowing the user to visually and easily recognize the available area.
[0073] Furthermore, the reservation support information generator generates screen information that emphasizes the identified area more strongly the higher the utilization rate of the equipment to which the area belongs, allowing users to visually and easily recognize areas with high utilization rates among areas that can be reserved.
[0074] The facility utilization support device may further include a test data acquisition unit that acquires and outputs operational status information and environmental data of the equipment when the demonstration test is performed, thereby allowing the user to view the operational status information of the equipment together with the environmental data as test data of the demonstration test.
[0075] Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the embodiments can be modified or varied based on the above disclosure. All components of the above embodiments and all features described in the claims may be individually extracted and combined, unless they contradict each other. [Explanation of symbols]
