Abstract

To provide a ventilation opening closing member that can be easily attached to and detached from a foundation while improving security.SOLUTION: A ventilation opening closing member 1 closes a ventilation opening H formed in a foundation B of a building. The ventilation opening closing member 1 is attached to the foundation B to cover the ventilation opening H from the outdoor side and includes a plate-shaped cover member 2 with ventilation holes, an insert member 3 inserted into the ventilation opening H, and an attachment member 4 for detachably attaching the cover member 2 to the foundation B. The insert member 3 is attached to the indoor surface of the cover member 2 and has a shaft portion 20 that passes through the ventilation opening H and extends to the indoor side, an opening / closing unit 30 that is attached to the shaft portion 20 in an openable and closable manner and switches between a closed state in which the ventilation opening H can be inserted and an open state in which it is extended from the closed state, and a switching unit 40 that switches the opening / closing unit 30 between the closed state and the open state.
