Abstract

To update a stateful application operating on a computer.SOLUTION: A computer system including a computer manages a volume that stores data used by a stateful application. When the computer updates the stateful application while a first instance, which executes the stateful application accessibly connected to a first volume, is running, the computer generates a second instance executing the updated stateful application, starts the second instance, switches connection of the first volume so that the updated stateful application can access, stops the first instance, and deletes the first instance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
