Description

[Technical field]

[0001] This application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202220304849.8, entitled “INVERTER AND PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM,” filed with the China National Intellectual Property Office on February 15, 2022, which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.

[0002] The present application relates to the field of photovoltaic technology, in particular to inverters and photovoltaic power systems. [Background technology]

[0003] In a photovoltaic power generation system, the electrical energy of a photovoltaic module needs to be transferred to an inverter to perform current reversal, so that the electrical energy can be input to an end user or supplied to a grid. A male connector can be installed on the photovoltaic module side, and a female connector can be installed on the inverter end. After connecting the male connector to the female connector, the electrical connection between the photovoltaic module and the inverter can be performed. In practical application, at the inverter end, the conductive core of the connector is electrically connected to a circuit board in the inverter through a section of a cable. The cable needs to be electrically connected to both the conductive core and the circuit board. Therefore, the installation procedure is complicated, and connection reliability problems may occur. In the existing method, a connection terminal is placed on the end of the conductive core, and the connection terminal is inserted into the circuit board to perform the electrical connection without a cable. However, the connection stability of the connection terminal inserted into the circuit board is poor, and an additional connection mechanism is required to connect the conductive core and the circuit board, which makes the structure complicated. Summary of the Invention

[0004] The present application provides an inverter that does not require a cable and can improve the stability of the connection between the connector and the circuit board.

[0005] According to a first aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides an inverter. The inverter includes a housing and a first connector, a circuit board is disposed inside the housing, and an inverter circuit is disposed on the circuit board. The first connector includes a first housing and a first conductive core, the first housing is fixed to the housing, the first conductive core is located in the first housing and extends inside the housing, the first conductive core includes a first connection plate located inside the housing, the first connection plate has a flat structure, the first connection plate is fixed to the circuit board and electrically connected to the inverter circuit, an end of the first conductive core away from the first connection plate is configured to connect to a photovoltaic module, the first conductive core is configured to transmit a direct current generated by the photovoltaic module to the inverter circuit using the first connection plate, the inverter circuit converts the direct current to an alternating current, and the flat structure is configured to improve connection stability and current transmission stability when the first connection plate is fixed to the circuit board.

[0006] The first housing of the first connector is configured to protect the first conductive core and to secure the first conductive core to the housing. The first conductive core of the first connector is configured to transmit electricity and transmit direct current from the photovoltaic module to an inverter circuit on the circuit board, where the inverter is configured to convert the direct current to alternating current.

[0007] In one embodiment, the first conductive core is in the form of a straight strip, and the part of the first conductive core that is away from the first connection plate is in the form of a hollow cylinder. The first connection plate has a flat structure, which increases the contact area between the first connection plate and the circuit board, makes it easier to fix the first connection plate to the circuit board, ensures good electrical connection between the first connection plate and the circuit board, and improves connection stability and electrical transmission stability. In one embodiment, the first connection plate is welded to the circuit board. Due to the flat structure of the first connection plate, the first connection plate and the circuit board each have a large welding area, which provides welding stability. In one embodiment, the plane on which the first connection plate is located is parallel to the board surface of the circuit board, which improves the stability and reliability of the connection between the first connection plate and the circuit board.

[0008] In a possible embodiment, the first connection plate and the circuit board are stacked in a first direction, at least a part of the projection of the first connection plate on the circuit board in the first direction is located on the circuit board, and the first connection plate and the circuit board have a partial intersection in a second direction, shortening the distance between the first connection plate and the circuit board in the second direction, and the first direction is perpendicular to the second direction. The first connection plate can be directly connected to the circuit board in the second direction without disposing a cable between the circuit board and the first connection plate in the second direction. Also, since the distance between the first connection plate and the circuit board is shortened, the current output from the first connection plate can be directly input to the circuit board, thereby effectively shortening the length of the current input path of the inverter and reducing the interference caused by the environment on the current input of the inverter.

[0009] In one embodiment, the first direction is along the thickness of the inverter and the second direction is along the width of the inverter.

[0010] In one embodiment, the orthogonal projection of the first connecting plate on the circuit board may be located outside the circuit board, and the first connecting plate may be connected to the circuit board using a connecting part.

[0011] In one embodiment, the first connecting plate is formed by stretching the end of the first conductive core, which can save preparation costs. In one embodiment, the first conductive core is formed by integral machining or integral injection molding.

[0012] The first housing is secured to the housing using screws, by welding, etc. In one embodiment, the first housing extends to the inside of the housing and the first housing is secured to the housing using a screw nut. The first housing encases a portion of the first conductive core that is located outside the housing, and the first conductive core is secured to the housing by being secured to the first housing.

[0013] The existing MC4 connector or imitation MC4 connector on the market includes a male connection part and a female connection part that are detachably connected. The end of the male connection part that is away from the female connection part is connected to a circuit board, and the end of the female connection part that is away from the male connection part is connected to a photovoltaic module. Alternatively, the end of the female connection part that is away from the male connection part is connected to a circuit board, and the end of the male connection part that is away from the female connection part is connected to a photovoltaic module. [0014] In the prior art, the MC4 connector or imitation MC4 connector is directly connected to the circuit board through a cable. Due to the limited internal space of the inverter, the bending radius of the cable does not meet the standard, the internal cables of the inverter are messy, the installation of the inverter is difficult, the installation efficiency is reduced, and the problem of improper connection occurs. When the inverter is connected to multiple MC4 or imitation MC4 connectors of multiple photovoltaic modules, more cables are needed inside the inverter to connect the MC4 or imitation MC4 connector to the circuit board, so the cables inside the inverter are messy and the installation of the inverter is more difficult. In addition, both ends of the cable require OT terminals to connect to the circuit board and the MC4 connector respectively, which increases the contact resistance and heat of the entire loop and reduces the efficiency of the entire inverter.

[0015] However, in the present application, the first connection plate of the first connector is arranged as a flat structure, and the first connection plate can be directly connected to the circuit board. In one aspect, the connection between the first connector and the circuit board is more convenient, and the installation of the inverter is more simple and more efficient. In addition, the effect of poor contact between the first connector and the circuit board in the processing, transportation, and assembly process can be reduced, and the risk of excessive heat or even fire caused by long-term connection between the first connector and the circuit board is reduced. In yet another aspect, the distance between the first connection plate and the circuit board is shortened, so that the space of the connection joint between the first connection plate and the circuit board is saved, the space utilization rate and power density of the inverter are improved, and the length of the photovoltaic power input path is effectively shortened, and the interference caused by the environment on the photovoltaic power input is reduced.

[0056] Please refer to Figures 2 and 3. Figure 2 is a schematic diagram of an inverter 10 according to an embodiment of the present application. Figure 3 is a cross-sectional view of the inverter 10 of Figure 2. The inverter 10 includes a housing 100 and a first connector 200, a circuit board 110 is disposed inside the housing 100, and an inverter circuit (not shown) is disposed on the circuit board 110. The first connector 200 includes a first housing 210 and a first conductive core 220, the first housing 210 is fixed to the housing 100, and the first conductive core 220 is located within the first housing 210 and extends inside the housing 100. The first conductive core 220 includes a first connection plate 221 located inside the housing 100, the first connection plate 221 is a flat structure, the first connection plate 221 is fixed to the circuit board 110 and is electrically connected to the inverter circuit. The end of the first conductive core 220, which is the end away from the first connecting plate 221, is configured to be connected to the photovoltaic power generation module 20, the first conductive core 220 is configured to transmit the direct current generated by the photovoltaic power generation module 20 to an inverter circuit using the first connecting plate 221, and the inverter circuit converts the direct current into alternating current, and the flat structure of the first connecting plate 221 is configured to improve connection stability and current transmission stability when the first connecting plate 221 is fixed to the circuit board 110.

[0057] The first housing 210 of the first connector 200 is configured to protect the first conductive core 220 and to secure the first conductive core 220 to the housing 100. The first conductive core 220 of the first connector 200 is configured to transmit electricity and transmit a direct current of the photovoltaic power generation module 20 to an inverter circuit of the circuit board 100, which converts the direct current to an alternating current.

[0058] Please refer to Figures 4 and 5. Figure 4 is a top view of the first conductive core 220, and Figure 5 is a side view of the first conductive core 220. In this embodiment, the first conductive core 220 is in the shape of a straight strip, and the part of the first conductive core 220 that is away from the first connection plate 221 is in the shape of a hollow cylinder. The first connection plate 221 has a flat structure, which increases the contact area between the first connection plate 221 and the circuit board, makes it easier to fix the first connection plate 221 to the circuit board 110, ensures good electrical connection between the first connection plate 221 and the circuit board 110, and can improve the connection stability and electrical transmission stability. In one embodiment, the first connection plate 221 is welded to the circuit board 110. Due to the flat structure of the first connection plate 221, the respective welding areas of the first connection plate 221 and the circuit board 110 are large, thereby providing welding stability. In one embodiment, the plane on which the first connecting plate 221 is located is parallel to the board surface of the circuit board 110, thereby improving the stability and reliability of the connection between the first connecting plate 221 and the circuit board 110.

[0059] In a possible embodiment, the first connection plate 221 and the circuit board 110 are stacked in the first direction X, and at least a part of the orthogonal projection of the first connection plate 221 on the circuit board 110 in the first direction X is located on the circuit board 110. In this embodiment, the first connection plate 221 and the circuit board 110 are stacked in the first direction X, and at least a part of the orthogonal projection of the first connection plate 221 on the circuit board 110 is located on the circuit board 110. With this arrangement, the first connection plate 221 and the circuit board 110 can partially cross in the second direction Y to shorten the distance between the first connection plate 221 and the circuit board 110, and the first connection plate 221 can be directly connected to the circuit board 110 in the second direction Y, and there is no need to arrange a cable between the circuit board 110 and the first connection plate 221 in the second direction Y. In addition, since the distance between the first connection plate 221 and the circuit board 110 is shortened, the current output from the first connection plate 221 can be directly input to the circuit board 110, thereby effectively shortening the length of the current input path of the inverter 10 and reducing the interference caused by the environment on the current input of the inverter 10.

[0060] The first direction X intersects with the second direction Y. In this embodiment, the first direction X is the thickness direction of the inverter 10, the second direction Y is the width direction of the inverter 10, and the first direction X is perpendicular to the second direction Y.

[0061] In one embodiment, the orthogonal projection of the first connecting plate 221 on the circuit board 110 is located outside the circuit board 110, and the first connecting plate 221 may be connected to the circuit board 110 using a connecting part.

[0062] In one embodiment, the first connecting plate 221 is formed by stretching the end of the first conductive core 220, which can save preparation costs. In one embodiment, the first conductive core 220 is formed by integral machining or integral injection molding.

[0063] The first housing 210 is fixed to the housing 100 by using a screw, welding, or the like. Fig. 10 is an enlarged layout diagram of the first connector 200 and the peripheral portion of the first connector 200 in the inverter 10. In this embodiment, the first housing 210 extends to the inside of the housing 100, and the first housing 210 is fixed to the housing 100 by using a screw nut 120. The first housing 210 encloses a portion of the first conductive core 220 that is located outside the housing 100, and the first conductive core 220 is fixed to the housing 100 by being fixed to the first housing 210.

[0064] The existing MC4 connector or imitation MC4 connector on the market includes a male connection part and a female connection part that are detachably connected. The end of the male connection part that is away from the female connection part is connected to the circuit board 110, and the end of the female connection part that is away from the male connection part is connected to the photovoltaic power generation module 20. Alternatively, the end of the female connection part that is away from the male connection part is connected to the circuit board 110, and the end of the male connection part that is away from the female connection part is connected to the photovoltaic power generation module 20. In one embodiment, the end of the conductive core of the existing male connection part or female connection part on the market is processed, such as punching and rolling, so that the end of the conductive core has a flat structure, to manufacture the first connector 200.

[0065] In the prior art, the MC4 connector or imitation MC4 connector is directly connected to the circuit board 110 through a cable. Due to the limited internal space of the inverter 10, the bending radius of the cable does not meet the standard, and the internal cables of the inverter 10 are messy, which makes it difficult to install the inverter 10, reduces the installation efficiency, and causes the problem of poor connection. In particular, when the photovoltaic power generation system 1 has multiple photovoltaic power generation modules 20 and the inverter 10 is connected to multiple MC4 connectors or imitation MC4 connectors of the multiple photovoltaic power generation modules 20, more cables are required to connect the MC4 connector or imitation MC4 connector to the circuit board 110 inside the inverter 10, which makes the cables inside the inverter 10 messy and makes it more difficult to install the inverter 10. In addition, both ends of the cable require OT terminals to connect to the circuit board and the MC4 connector, respectively, which increases the contact resistance and heat of the entire loop and reduces the efficiency of the entire inverter.

[0066] In this application, the first connection plate 221 of the first connector 200 may be arranged as a flat structure, and the first connection plate 221 may be directly connected to the circuit board 110. In one aspect, the connection between the first connector 200 and the circuit board 110 is more convenient, and the installation of the inverter 10 is more simple and more efficient. In another aspect, since the first connector 200 is connected to the circuit board 110 without a cable, the contact resistance and heat between the first connector 200 and the circuit board 110 are reduced, and the work efficiency of the inverter 10 is improved. In addition, the effect of poor contact between the first connector 200 and the circuit board 110 in the processing, transportation, and assembly process can be reduced, and the risk of excessive heat or even fire caused by long-term connection between the first connector 200 and the circuit board 110 is reduced. In yet another aspect, the distance between the first connecting plate 221 and the circuit board 110 is shortened, thereby saving space at the connection joint between the first connecting plate 221 and the circuit board 110, improving the space utilization and power density of the inverter 10, effectively shortening the length of the solar power input path, and reducing the environmental interference on the solar power input.
