[0010] The technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a needle holder that can fix a catheter and minimize irritation to the skin.
[0011] The technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a connector that is non-irritating, has strong fixing power, and is elastic, and connects via a female luer lock system. [Means for solving the problem]
[0012] In order to achieve the above object, the needle holder of the present invention comprises a body member and a fixing member.
[0013] The body member 100 includes a barrel portion 110 , an inlet end 120 , a discharge end 130 and a side inlet port 140 .
[0014] The body portion 110 connects an injection end 120, which is connected to an infusion set, and a discharge end 130, which is connected to a needle, in the middle, and is attached to the patient's skin so that an infusion or medicinal liquid can be injected from the infusion set to the needle through a through hole 150 that passes through the inside.
[0015] The injection end 120 is a cylindrical end that can be coupled to an infusion line of an infusion set, and has a through hole 150 formed inside the body portion 110 extending therefrom.
[0016] The large diameter injection end 121 is formed large enough for the infusion line 123 to fit inside the injection end 120, and the small diameter injection end 124 is formed large enough for the infusion line 123 to fit outside the injection end 120.
[0017] In addition, the large diameter injection end 121 may have an internal step 122 formed at the connection portion with the body portion 110, and the infusion line 123 may be inserted up to the internal step 122 portion and connected.
[0018] Discharge end 130 is a cylindrical end into which a needle hub can be fitted and extends through bore 150 in body 110 .
[0019] A through hole 150 is formed through the infusion end 120, the body portion 110 and the discharge end 130, and functions as a passageway for supplying the medicinal solution from the infusion set to the needle.
[0020] The side injection port 140 formed on one side of the body 110 can serve the function of allowing a needle (syringe needle) to be inserted and injected without removing the connection part when additional medicine needs to be administered directly to the human body during the process of injecting infusion into the human body.
[0021] The fixing member 200 includes a resilient member 210 , a support portion 220 , a gripping member 230 , and a handle 240 .
[0022] The elastic member 210 is formed between both sides of the discharge end 130 and the support portion 220 of the fixing member 200, so that the grip member 230 fixes the needle hub connected to the discharge end 130 by elastic force.
[0023] When the handle 240 of the fixing member 200 is pressed, the grip member 230 attached to the end of the support portion 220 moves away from the discharge end 130, at which time the needle hub is inserted into and connected to the discharge end 130. After the needle hub is fully inserted into the grip member 230, when the pressed handle 240 is released, the needle hub is fixed in place by the grip member 230 and is prevented from coming off.
[0024] The support portion 220 is attached to the end of the elastic member 210 so as to form a frame for the fixed member 200, and has a handle 240 formed at one end and a grip member 230 formed at the other end. The end portion on the handle 240 side is formed so as to incline outwardly so that the distance between the handle 240 and the body portion 110 is greater than the distance from the body portion 110 at the joint portion of the elastic member 210, making it easier to grip the handle 240.
[0025] The gripping member 230 is formed as a sawtooth protrusion on the end of the support portion 220 to crimp and fix the needle hub, and the flange of the needle hub is caught on the sawtooth protrusion, thereby preventing the needle hub from coming off the discharge end portion 130. A plurality of sawtooth protrusions may be formed depending on the structure of the needle hub to be coupled.
[0026] A handle 240 is formed at the end of the support such that pushing the handle 240 moves the other gripping member 230 away from the discharge end 130 .
[0027] Preferably, the support portion 220 may further include a reinforcing rib 250 formed on the outer side thereof.
[0028] Reinforcing ribs 250 are attached to the outer surface of the support along the length of the support 220 to supplement the stiffness of the support. Effect of the Invention
[0029] As described above, according to the present invention, by imparting elasticity to the fixing member of the needle holder, the fixing force of the needle hub can be strengthened via the grip member.
[0030] It is also possible to provide a connector that secures the catheter, minimizes irritation to the skin, and connects using a highly flexible female luer lock system with strong fixing power.
[0031] Conventional rubber-type needle holders made of rubber material have the disadvantage that the male and female sets are easily dislodged. However, according to the present invention, the combination of the body member and the fixing member is expected to have the effect of stably fixing the needle hub.
[0032] In addition, conventional rotary type needle holders have a drawback in that they irritate the patient's skin when used for a long period of time due to their round, protruding shape. However, according to the present invention, the body member and the fixing member are formed to minimize irritation to the skin, eliminating the drawbacks of conventional needle holders. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0034] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings of FIG. 1 to FIG.
[0035] The needle holder of the present invention comprises a central body member 100 and fixing members 200 attached to both side surfaces of the body member 100 in the form of grippers.
[0036] The body member 100 includes a barrel portion 110 , an inlet end 120 , a discharge end 130 and a side inlet port 140 .
[0037] The body portion 110 connects an injection end 120, which is connected to an infusion set, and a discharge end 130, which is connected to a needle, in the middle, and is attached to the patient's skin so as to inject infusion or medicinal fluid from the infusion set to the needle through a through hole 150 that passes through the inside.
[0038] The injection end 120 is a cylindrical end that can be connected to an infusion line of an infusion set, and has a penetration portion 150 formed inside the body portion 110 extended therefrom.
[0039] As shown in FIG. 4, the large diameter injection end 121 is formed large enough for the infusion line 123 to fit inside the injection end 120, and as shown in FIG. 5, the small diameter injection end 124 is formed large enough for the infusion line 123 to fit outside the injection end 120.
[0040] The large-diameter injection end 121 shown in FIG. 4 may have an internal step 122 formed at the connection portion with the body portion 110, and an infusion line 123 may be inserted up to the internal step 122 portion and connected.
[0041] Discharge end 130 is a cylindrical end into which a needle hub can be fitted and extends through bore 150 in body 110 .
[0042] A through hole 150 is formed through the infusion end 120, the body portion 110 and the discharge end 130, and functions as a passageway for supplying the medicinal solution from the infusion set to the needle.
[0043] The side injection port 140 formed on one side of the body 110 can serve the function of allowing a needle (syringe needle) to be inserted and injected without removing the connection part when additional medicine needs to be administered directly to the human body during the process of injecting an infusion into the human body.
[0044] The fixing member 200 includes a resilient member 210 , a support portion 220 , a gripping member 230 , and a handle 240 .
[0045] The elastic member 210 is formed between both sides of the discharge end 130 and the support portion 220 of the fixing member 200, so that the grip member 230 fixes the needle hub connected to the discharge end 130 by elastic force.
[0046] When the handle 240 of the fixing member 200 is pressed, the grip member 230 attached to the end of the support portion 220 moves away from the discharge end 130, at which time the needle hub is inserted into and connected to the discharge end 130. After the needle hub is fully inserted into the grip member 230, when the pressed handle 240 is released, the needle hub is fixed in place by the grip member 230 and is prevented from coming off.
[0047] The support portion 220 is attached to an end of the elastic member 210 so as to form a frame for the fixed member 200, and a handle 240 is formed at one end and a grip member 230 is formed at the other end. The end on the handle 240 side is formed so as to be inclined outward so that the distance between the handle 240 and the body portion 110 is greater than the distance from the body portion 110 at the joint portion of the elastic member 210, making it easier to grip the handle 240.
[0048] The gripping member 230 is formed as a sawtooth protrusion on the end of the support portion 220 to crimp and fix the needle hub, and the flange of the needle hub is caught on the sawtooth protrusion, thereby preventing the needle hub from coming off the discharge end portion 130. A plurality of sawtooth protrusions may be formed depending on the structure of the needle hub to be coupled.
[0049] A handle 240 is formed at the end of the support such that pushing the handle 240 moves the other gripping member 230 away from the discharge end 130 .
[0050] Preferably, the support portion 220 may further include a reinforcing rib 250 formed on the outer side thereof.
[0051] Reinforcing ribs 250 are attached to the outer surface of the support along the length of the support 220 to supplement the stiffness of the support.
[0052] The operation of the needle holder will now be described with reference to FIG.
[0053] The discharge end of the needle holder according to the present invention fits onto the needle and needle hub assembly.
[0054] The needle hub is fitted into the discharge end and connected to it, and when the handle of the fixing member is pressed to spread the gripping member, and when the flange of the needle hub is fully inserted and the handle of the fixing member is released, the gripping member fixes the needle hub by the elastic force of the elastic member. At this time, the serrated protrusion of the gripping member catches on the flange, fixing the needle hub and preventing the needle hub from coming off the needle holder.
[0055] Conversely, to separate the needle from the needle holder, the handle is pressed to separate the gripping member from the needle hub, which in turn separates from the discharge end, allowing the needle to be removed.
[0056] An infusion line is inserted into the injection end of the needle holder of the present invention.
[0057] When the injection end is a large diameter injection end 121, the infusion line can be fitted into the through hole in the injection end and connected, and when the injection end is a small diameter injection end 123, the infusion line can be fitted into the outer peripheral surface of the injection end and connected.
[0058] As described above, according to the present invention, by imparting elasticity to the fixing member of the needle holder, the fixing force of the needle hub can be strengthened via the grip member, and irritation to the skin can be minimized. [Explanation of symbols]
