[Figure 3] FIG. 2 is a diagram showing a state in which the exterior wall panels shown in FIG. 1 are connected in an orthogonal direction. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0017] Hereinafter, an embodiment of an exterior wall panel and a building according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In each drawing, the same components are designated by the same reference numerals.

[0018] Fig. 1 is a diagram showing an exterior wall panel 1 as one embodiment of the exterior wall panel according to the present invention. Fig. 1 shows the exterior wall panel 1 attached to a structural body 101 of a building 100. As shown in Fig. 1, the exterior wall panels 1 of this embodiment can be attached to the structural body 101 of the building 100 and connected together to form an external finishing layer of the exterior wall of the building 100. Note that for ease of explanation, Fig. 1 shows only one exterior wall panel 1 attached to the structural body 101 of the building 100.

[0019] First, an overview of the building 100 of this embodiment will be described. The building 100 of this embodiment is, for example, a two-story detached house with a steel-framed framework. Such a building 100 includes a foundation structure, such as a reinforced concrete continuous footing supported on the ground, and a superstructure supported by the foundation structure, which has a structural framework 101 made up of framework members such as pillar members and beam members. The framework members constituting the structural framework 101 may be pre-standardized members that are manufactured in a factory and then transported to a construction site and assembled. The building 100 may also be a wooden house built using a so-called conventional construction method. The building 100 is not limited to being two-story, but may have one or three or more floors. Furthermore, the building 100 is not limited to being a detached house, but may be, for example, an apartment building.

[0020] More specifically, the superstructure of the building 100 of this embodiment includes the above-mentioned structural body 101, exterior walls, floors, and a roof.

[0021] The exterior wall is a wall that separates the indoor space from the outdoor space of the building 100. The exterior wall of the building 100 in this embodiment has an exterior finishing layer formed by connecting exterior wall panels 1 around the outer periphery of the structural body 101. Details of the exterior wall panel 1 will be described later.

[0022] The exterior wall of this embodiment also includes an insulating layer formed by connecting foamed resin insulating panels, such as phenolic foam, along the interior surface of the exterior finishing layer. However, the insulating material may also be a fiber-based material such as rock wool.

[0023] Furthermore, the exterior wall of this embodiment has an internal finishing layer made of interior materials that are made up of gypsum boards and finishing materials such as wall paper attached to the surface of the gypsum boards. However, the configuration of the interior materials is not limited to the configuration of this embodiment.

[0024] The floor in this embodiment includes a floor slab material. The floor slab material is installed between the beams of the structural body 101 and is directly or indirectly supported by the beams. For example, an lightweight aerated concrete (hereinafter referred to as "ALC") panel can be used as the floor slab material, but other materials such as folded plates, extruded cement boards, and wood panel materials may also be used. In addition to the floor slab material, the floor may also include, for example, a ceiling interior material that forms the ceiling surface of the lower floor and is attached directly or indirectly to the floor slab material, and a floor interior material such as flooring that forms the floor surface of the upper floor and is layered on the floor slab material.

[0025] The roof of the building 100 in this embodiment is a flat roof. ALC panels can be used for the roof floor slab material that constitutes the flat roof, but the material is not limited to ALC panels. The roof floor slab material is waterproofed by being covered with a waterproof sheet made of polyvinyl chloride resin, for example. The roof of the building 100 is not limited to a flat roof, and may also be a sloped roof using roof exterior materials such as slate.

[0026] Next, the exterior wall panel 1 will be described in detail.

[0027] As described above, the exterior wall panel 1 of this embodiment can be attached to and connected to the structural frame 101 of the building 100 to form the exterior finishing layer of the exterior wall of the building 100. Specifically, the structural frame 101 of the building 100 of this embodiment includes upper beams 101a and lower beams 101b extending horizontally at different positions in the vertical direction. In the building 100 of this embodiment, the exterior wall panel 1 is attached to the upper beams 101a and lower beams 101b of the structural frame 101 to form the exterior finishing layer of the exterior wall of the building 100.

[0028] Hereinafter, for the sake of convenience, the thickness direction of the exterior wall panel 1 will be simply referred to as the "thickness direction A." Furthermore, the outdoor side of the thickness direction A of the exterior wall panel 1, based on the state in which the exterior wall panel 1 is attached to the structural body 101, will be simply referred to as the "outdoor side." Furthermore, the indoor side of the thickness direction A of the exterior wall panel 1, based on the state in which the exterior wall panel 1 is attached to the structural body 101, will be simply referred to as the "indoor side."

[0029] 1 is a front view of an exterior wall panel 1 as seen from the outdoor side. As shown in FIG. 1, the exterior wall panel 1 includes an exterior wall panel material 10 and a reinforcing body 30.

[0030] As shown in FIG. 1 , the exterior wall panel material 10 is rectangular. More specifically, the exterior shape of the exterior wall panel material 10 when viewed from the thickness direction A is rectangular. The exterior wall panel material 10 has two surfaces 12 that are perpendicular to the thickness direction A and four end faces 14 that are parallel to the thickness direction A. These four end faces 14 form the sides of the rectangle when viewed from the thickness direction A. For ease of explanation, the outdoor-facing surface 12 of the two surfaces 12 that are perpendicular to the thickness direction A will be referred to as the "outdoor-facing surface 12a," and the indoor-facing surface 12 will be referred to as the "indoor-facing surface 12b."

[0031] As will be described in detail later, in the exterior wall panel material 10 of this embodiment, one end face 14 and the other end face 14 on the opposite side are covered by two reinforcing bodies 30. Hereinafter, for convenience of explanation, when viewed from the thickness direction A, a direction parallel to the one end face 14 and the other end face 14 covered by the reinforcing bodies 30 will be referred to as the "parallel direction B," and a direction perpendicular to the parallel direction B will be referred to as the "orthogonal direction C." Furthermore, when the exterior wall panel 1 is viewed from the exterior side with the parallel direction B aligned with the vertical direction (i.e., the state shown in FIG. 1 ), one side of the parallel direction B as the upper vertical side will be referred to as the "upper side of the parallel direction B" or simply the "upper side," the other side of the parallel direction B as the lower vertical side will be referred to as the "lower side of the parallel direction B" or simply the "lower side," one side of the orthogonal direction C as the left horizontal side will be referred to as the "left side of the orthogonal direction C" or simply the "left side," and the other side of the orthogonal direction C as the right horizontal side will be referred to as the "right side of the orthogonal direction C" or simply the "right side." Furthermore, in the exterior wall panel material 10, the end face 14 on the left side will be referred to as the "left end face 14a," the end face 14 on the right side will be referred to as the "right end face 14b," the end face 14 on the upper side will be referred to as the "upper end face 14c," and the end face 14 on the lower side will be referred to as the "lower end face 14d."

[0032] Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line II in Fig. 1. Specifically, Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the exterior wall panel 1 taken along the orthogonal direction C. Fig. 3 is a diagram showing the state in which the exterior wall panels 1 shown in Fig. 1 are connected in the orthogonal direction C. Specifically, Fig. 3 shows a cross-section of two connected exterior wall panels 1 at the same position as Fig. 2.

[0033] As shown in FIG. 2, the exterior wall panel 10 of this embodiment has a first cutout surface 15a and a second cutout surface 15b. The first cutout surface 15a of this embodiment connects the outdoor surface 12a and the left end surface 14a. The first cutout surface 15a of this embodiment extends at an angle with respect to the thickness direction A so as to face the outdoor side and the left side over substantially the entire area. The outdoor surface 12a, the first cutout surface 15a, and the left end surface 14a of this embodiment have a shape in which right-angled corners are cut off in a cross section perpendicular to the parallel direction B (see FIG. 2). The second cutout surface 15b of this embodiment connects the outdoor surface 12a and the right end surface 14b. The second cutout surface 15b of this embodiment extends at an angle with respect to the thickness direction A so as to face the outdoor side and the right side over substantially the entire area. In this embodiment, the exterior surface 12a, the second cutout surface 15b, and the right end surface 14b have a shape in which right-angle corners are cut off in a cross section perpendicular to the parallel direction B (see FIG. 2). By providing such first cutout surface 15a and second cutout surface 15b, the exterior wall panel 1 of this embodiment can form a sealing pocket 50 between adjacent exterior wall panels 1 in the perpendicular direction C, the width of which gradually increases toward the exterior side in the perpendicular direction C (see FIG. 3). In the exterior wall of the building 100 of this embodiment, a sealing material is filled in this sealing pocket 50 to form a sealing portion 54 that joins the exterior wall panels 1 adjacent in the perpendicular direction C (see FIG. 3). The sealing portion 54 of this embodiment is formed by a wet sealant filled in the sealing pocket 50. However, the sealing portion 54 may also be formed by a dry sealant, such as a waterproof joint rubber, placed in the sealing pocket 50.

[0034] As shown in FIG. 2, the exterior wall panel 10 of this embodiment includes a first chamfered surface 16a and a second chamfered surface 16b. Specifically, the first chamfered surface 16a of this embodiment is a surface connecting the indoor side surface 12b and the left end surface 14a. The first chamfered surface 16a of this embodiment is inclined with respect to the thickness direction A so as to face the indoor side and the left side, and extends in a planar manner. In a cross-sectional view perpendicular to the parallel direction B (see FIG. 2), the indoor side surface 12b, the first chamfered surface 16a, and the left end surface 14a of this embodiment have a shape in which right-angled corners are linearly cut off. The second chamfered surface 16b of this embodiment is a surface connecting the indoor side surface 12b and the right end surface 14b. The second chamfered surface 16b of this embodiment is inclined with respect to the thickness direction A so as to face the indoor side and the right side, and extends in a planar manner. In this embodiment, the indoor surface 12b, the second chamfered surface 16b, and the right end surface 14b have a shape in which right-angled corners are cut off in a straight line in a cross section perpendicular to the parallel direction B (see FIG. 2). By providing such first chamfered surface 16a and second chamfered surface 16b, it is possible to remove corners of the exterior wall panel material 10 that are prone to damage such as cracks and chips. As a result, damage to the exterior wall panel material 10 during handling can be reduced.

[0035] In this embodiment, the first cutout surface 15a and the second cutout surface 15b extend in the parallel direction B from the upper end surface 14c to the lower end surface 14d of the exterior wall panel material 10. However, the first cutout surface 15a and the second cutout surface 15b may be configured so that one or both ends in the parallel direction B terminate at a position between the upper end surface 14c and the lower end surface 14d. Furthermore, the first chamfered surface 16a and the second chamfered surface 16b in this embodiment extend in the parallel direction B from the upper end surface 14c to the lower end surface 14d of the exterior wall panel material 10. However, the first chamfered surface 16a and the second chamfered surface 16b may be configured so that one or both ends in the parallel direction B terminate at a position between the upper end surface 14c and the lower end surface 14d.

[0036] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the exterior wall panel material 10 of this embodiment has rib members 20 inside it that extend in the parallel direction B. In other words, the exterior wall panel material 10 of this embodiment has a panel main body 21 that forms the exterior shape, and rib members 20 embedded in the panel main body 21. By configuring the exterior wall panel material 10 to have the rib members 20 in this way, the strength of the exterior wall panel material 10 can be improved. As a result, damage to the exterior wall panel material 10 during handling can be suppressed.

[0037] The frame members 20 of this embodiment extend in the parallel direction B from near the upper end surface 14c of the exterior wall panel material 10 to near the lower end surface 14d. This makes it possible to improve the strength of the exterior wall panel material 10 substantially uniformly regardless of the position in the parallel direction B. As a result, damage to the exterior wall panel material 10 during handling can be further suppressed.

[0038] Moreover, the exterior wall panel material 10 of this embodiment includes a plurality of rib members 20. The plurality of rib members 20 are arranged spaced apart from one another in the orthogonal direction C. This arrangement can prevent the occurrence of uneven strength in the orthogonal direction C of the exterior wall panel material 10. As a result, damage to the exterior wall panel material 10 during handling can be further prevented.

[0039] The exterior wall panel material 10 of this embodiment includes two rib members 20 as the plurality of rib members 20. However, the exterior wall panel material 10 may include three or more rib members 20 as the plurality of rib members 20. Furthermore, although the cross-sectional shape of the rib members 20 of this embodiment is circular, this is not limited to the configuration of this embodiment and may be, for example, elliptical or polygonal.

[0040] The material forming the panel body 21 of the exterior wall panel material 10 of this embodiment is ALC. In other words, the exterior wall panel 1 of this embodiment is a so-called ALC panel. However, the material forming the panel body 21 of the exterior wall panel material 10 is not limited to the configuration of this embodiment and may be, for example, metal, cement, a nitride-based material, or a wood-based material. Furthermore, the frame members 20 of the exterior wall panel material 10 of this embodiment are, for example, reinforcing bars, but may be materials other than reinforcing bars as long as they can improve the strength of the exterior wall panel material 10.

[0041] The exterior wall panel 1 of this embodiment includes a single exterior wall panel material 10. However, the exterior wall panel 1 may include multiple exterior wall panel materials 10 connected in parallel direction B. In this case, a reinforcing member 30 (described later) may be fixed to each of the multiple exterior wall panel materials 10 connected in parallel direction B, thereby connecting the multiple exterior wall panel materials 10.

[0042] 1 and 2, the exterior wall panel 1 of this embodiment has two reinforcing bodies 30. Of the two reinforcing bodies 30, one reinforcing body 30 covers the exterior wall panel material 10 from a left end face 14a, which serves as one end face 14 of the exterior wall panel material 10, to the indoor-side surface 12b, and is fixed to the exterior wall panel material 10. Furthermore, the other reinforcing body 30 covers the exterior wall panel material 10 from a right end face 14b, which serves as the other end face 14 located opposite the one end face 14 of the exterior wall panel material 10, to the indoor-side surface 12b, and is fixed to the exterior wall panel material 10. For ease of explanation, the two reinforcing bodies 30 will be referred to below as the "first reinforcing body 30a," which covers the exterior wall panel 10 from its left end face 14a to its indoor-side surface 12b, and the other reinforcing body 30 covering the exterior wall panel 10 from its right end face 14b to its indoor-side surface 12b. When the first reinforcing body 30a and the second reinforcing body 30b are not particularly distinguished, they will simply be referred to as "reinforcing body 30." In this embodiment, the first reinforcing body 30a and the second reinforcing body 30b have similar configurations. Therefore, the following description will mainly focus on the first reinforcing body 30a, and the second reinforcing body 30b will be omitted if the components corresponding to those of the first reinforcing body 30a are designated by the same reference numerals.

[0043] As described above, the first reinforcing body 30a covers the exterior wall panel material 10 from the left end face 14a (one end face 14) of the exterior wall panel material 10 to the indoor side surface 12b, and is fixed to the exterior wall panel material 10. This makes it possible to protect the exterior wall panel material 10 from impacts and the like from the left end face 14a (one end face 14) of the exterior wall panel material 10 to the indoor side surface 12b. As a result, it is possible to prevent damage to the exterior wall panel material 10 during handling.

[0044] Furthermore, the first reinforcing body 30a of this embodiment is attached to the exterior wall panel material 10 in a state in which it abuts against the left end face 14a (one end face 14) of the exterior wall panel material 10 and the indoor side surface 12b. This makes it possible to reinforce the strength of the exterior wall panel material 10 and to prevent damage to the exterior wall panel 1 during handling. However, the first reinforcing body 30a may also be attached to the exterior wall panel material 10 in a state in which another member, such as a rubber sheet, is sandwiched between the left end face 14a (one end face 14) of the exterior wall panel material 10 and the indoor side surface 12b.

[0045] More specifically, the first reinforcing body 30a of this embodiment includes a base portion 32 that covers the indoor side surface 12b, and a side wall portion 34 that is continuous with the base portion 32 and covers the left end face 14a, which serves as one end face 14. The base portion 32 of this embodiment abuts against the indoor side surface 12b of the exterior wall panel material 10. The side wall portion 34 of this embodiment abuts against the left end face 14a, which serves as one end face 14 of the exterior wall panel material 10. The base portion 32 and the side wall portion 34 of this embodiment are each configured in a flat plate shape. The cross section of the first reinforcing body 30a of this embodiment perpendicular to the parallel direction B is substantially L-shaped. The first reinforcing body 30a of this embodiment is formed so that the base portion 32 and the side wall portion 34 are integrated by joining such as bending or welding, or by integral molding such as extrusion molding. However, the first reinforcing body 30a may have a configuration in which the base portion 32 and the side wall portion 34 are connected by fastening members such as bolts. The material forming the first reinforcing body 30a in this embodiment is, for example, steel, but this may be changed appropriately depending on the material forming the exterior wall panel material 10, and may be, for example, a metal other than steel, a hard resin, or a wood-based material.

[0046] The exterior wall panel 1 of this embodiment includes a fastening member 40 that fastens the first reinforcing body 30a to the exterior wall panel material 10. This allows the reinforcing body 30 to be fixed to the exterior wall panel material 10 with a simple configuration.

[0047] The fastening member 40 of this embodiment is inserted into the exterior wall panel 10 from the indoor side toward the outdoor side through the base portion 32 of the first reinforcing body 30a. Here, the exterior wall panel 10 of this embodiment has a length in the orthogonal direction C that is greater than the length in the thickness direction A. Therefore, by inserting the fastening member 40 into the exterior wall panel 10 from the indoor side toward the outdoor side (i.e., along the thickness direction A), it is easier to ensure space in the exterior wall panel 10 for inserting the fastening member 40 compared to inserting the fastening member 40 into the exterior wall panel 10 along the orthogonal direction C. Furthermore, by inserting the fastening member 40 into the exterior wall panel 10 from the indoor side toward the outdoor side, it is possible to prevent the fastening member 40 from interfering with other exterior wall panels 1 when the exterior wall panels 1 are connected in the orthogonal direction C.

[0048] In this embodiment, the base portion 32 of the first reinforcing body 30a is formed with an insertion hole 35 through which a bolt serving as a fastening member 40 can be inserted. The bolt serving as a fastening member 40 in this embodiment is inserted into the exterior wall panel material 10 from the indoor side toward the outdoor side through the insertion hole 35 in the base portion 32 of the first reinforcing body 30a. In this embodiment, the first reinforcing body 30a is fixed to the exterior wall panel material 10 by being sandwiched between the indoor side surface 12b of the exterior wall panel material 10 and the head of the bolt serving as the fastening member 40, with the shank of the bolt serving as the fastening member 40 inserted into the insertion hole 35 in the base portion 32.

[0049] As shown in Fig. 1, the first reinforcing body 30a of this embodiment is fixed to the exterior wall panel material 10 by a plurality of fastening members 40 arranged at intervals in the parallel direction B. However, the arrangement and number of the fastening members 40 that fix the first reinforcing body 30a are not limited to the configuration of this embodiment.

[0050] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the base portion 32 of the first reinforcing body 30a of this embodiment extends to a position between the two outer rib members 20a, which are located outermost on both sides in the orthogonal direction C, among the multiple rib members 20 of the exterior wall panel 10. The fastening member 40 of this embodiment is inserted into the exterior wall panel 10 through the base portion 32 of the first reinforcing body 30a at a position between the two outer rib members 20a. This prevents damage to the exterior wall panel 10, such as cracking of the end portion in the orthogonal direction C, when the fastening member 40 is inserted into the exterior wall panel 10. Note that the exterior wall panel 10 of this embodiment has only two rib members 20, and both of these rib members 20 are outer rib members 20a.

[0051] The exterior wall panel 1 of this embodiment includes only the fastening members 40 located between the two outer rib members 20a as fastening members 40 inserted into the exterior wall panel material 10 through the base portion 32 of the first reinforcing body 30a, and does not include any fastening members 40 located outside the two outer rib members 20a. However, the arrangement of the fastening members 40 is not limited to the configuration of this embodiment. For example, the exterior wall panel 1 may include both the fastening members 40 located between the two outer rib members 20a and the fastening members 40 located outside the two outer rib members 20a as fastening members 40 inserted into the exterior wall panel material 10 through the base portion 32 of the first reinforcing body 30a. Alternatively, the exterior wall panel 1 may include only the fastening members 40 located outside the two outer rib members 20a as fastening members 40 inserted into the exterior wall panel material 10 through the base portion 32 of the first reinforcing body 30a, and not include any fastening members 40 located between the two outer rib members 20a. However, as mentioned above, from the viewpoint of suppressing damage to the exterior wall panel material 10, it is preferable that the exterior wall panel 1 includes fastening members 40 positioned between the two outer rib members 20a as fastening members 40 inserted into the exterior wall panel material 10 through the base portions 32 of the first reinforcing members 30a. Note that "fastening members 40 positioned on the outside of the two outer rib members 20a" refers to fastening members 40 positioned on the side away from the center of the exterior wall panel material 10 in the orthogonal direction C with respect to the two outer rib members 20a.

[0052] 2, the first reinforcing body 30a of this embodiment is fixed to the exterior wall panel 10 so as not to protrude outdoors beyond the outdoor end 114a of the left end face 14a, which serves as one end face 14. Specifically, the first reinforcing body 30a of this embodiment is fixed to the exterior wall panel 10 so that the outdoor end 134a of the side wall portion 34 is located in the same position as the outdoor end 114a of the left end face 14a of the exterior wall panel 10 in the thickness direction A, or is located indoors beyond the outdoor end 114a of the left end face 14a of the exterior wall panel 10. Similarly, the second reinforcing body 30b of this embodiment is fixed to the exterior wall panel 10 so as not to protrude outdoors beyond the outdoor end 114b of the right end face 14b, which serves as the other end face 14. Specifically, the second reinforcing body 30b of this embodiment is fixed to the exterior wall panel 10 so that the outdoor end 134b of the side wall portion 34 is located in the same position as the outdoor end 114b of the right end face 14b of the exterior wall panel 10 in the thickness direction A, or is located closer to the indoor side than the outdoor end 114b of the right end face 14b of the exterior wall panel 10. This makes the reinforcing body 30 less noticeable when the exterior wall panel 1 is viewed from the outdoor side, thereby preventing the reinforcing body 30 from impairing the design of the exterior wall panel 1. Furthermore, the reinforcing body 30 can be prevented from getting in the way when forming a sealing portion 54 (see FIG. 3 ) between the exterior wall panel 1 and another exterior wall panel 1 adjacent in the orthogonal direction C.

[0053] As shown in FIG. 1, the exterior wall panel 10 of this embodiment protrudes beyond the first reinforcing member 30a on both sides in the parallel direction B. In other words, the upper end face 14c of the exterior wall panel 10 of this embodiment is located above the upper end of the reinforcing member 30, and the lower end face 14d is located below the lower end of the reinforcing member 30. Therefore, the reinforcing members 30 are not disposed at the ends 110 of the exterior wall panel 10 on both sides in the parallel direction B. These ends 110 can function as attachment portions for attachment to the structural frame 101. Specifically, in the building 100 of this embodiment, the exterior wall panel 1 is arranged so that the parallel direction B and the vertical direction coincide. In the building 100 of this embodiment, the upper end 110 of the exterior wall panel 10 is attached to an upper beam 101a of the structural frame 101, and the lower end 110 of the exterior wall panel 10 is attached to a lower beam 101b of the structural frame 101 (see FIG. 1). In this way, by attaching the exterior wall panel material 10 to the structural body 101 using the end portions 110 on both sides in the parallel direction B as mounting portions, the reinforcing body 30 can be prevented from getting in the way when attaching the exterior wall panel 1 to the structural body 101.

[0054] As described above, the exterior wall panel 1 of this embodiment includes, in addition to the first reinforcing body 30a, the second reinforcing body 30b that covers the exterior wall panel material 10 from the right end face 14b (the other end face 14) of the exterior wall panel material 10 to the indoor-side surface 12b and is fixed to the exterior wall panel material 10. This makes it possible to protect the exterior wall panel material 10 from impacts and the like in the area extending from the left end face 14a (the one end face 14) of the exterior wall panel material 10 to the indoor-side surface 12b, as well as in the area extending from the right end face 14b (the other end face 14) of the exterior wall panel material 10 to the indoor-side surface 12b. As a result, damage to the exterior wall panel material 10 during handling can be more effectively prevented than in the case where the exterior wall panel 1 includes only the first reinforcing body 30a.

[0055] Furthermore, by providing the first reinforcing body 30a and the second reinforcing body 30b as separate bodies, even if the length of the exterior wall panel material 10 in the orthogonal direction C varies due to dimensional tolerances or the like, the first reinforcing body 30a and the second reinforcing body 30b can be easily attached to the exterior wall panel material 10. Specifically, for example, if the exterior wall panel 1 is configured to have a single reinforcing body that covers the exterior wall panel material 10 from the end faces 14 on both sides of the exterior wall panel material 10 in the orthogonal direction C to the indoor-side surface 12b, if the length of the exterior wall panel material 10 in the orthogonal direction C varies due to dimensional tolerances or the like, the shape of the exterior wall panel material 10 and the shape of the reinforcing body will not match, and it may become difficult to attach the reinforcing body to the exterior wall panel material 10. In contrast, in the present embodiment, where the exterior wall panel 1 is configured to have a first reinforcing body 30a and a second reinforcing body 30b that are separate from each other, even if the length of the exterior wall panel material 10 in the orthogonal direction C varies due to dimensional tolerances, etc., the first reinforcing body 30a and the second reinforcing body 30b can be easily attached to the exterior wall panel material 10 by adjusting the relative positions of the first reinforcing body 30a and the second reinforcing body 30b.

[0056] More specifically, the first reinforcing body 30a and the second reinforcing body 30b of this embodiment are arranged so that, when fixed to the exterior wall panel material 10, a gap X is formed between them in the orthogonal direction C at any position in the parallel direction B (see FIG. 2). By providing such a gap X, it is possible to prevent the first reinforcing body 30a and the second reinforcing body 30b from interfering with each other even if the length of the exterior wall panel material 10 in the orthogonal direction C varies due to dimensional tolerances or the like. In other words, the first reinforcing body 30a and the second reinforcing body 30b can be easily attached to the exterior wall panel material 10 even if the length of the exterior wall panel material 10 in the orthogonal direction C varies due to dimensional tolerances or the like.

[0057] The exterior wall panel 1 of this embodiment is elongated in the parallel direction B. Conventionally, elongated exterior wall panels 1 have been difficult to use in the manufacture of buildings 100 because they are prone to damage, such as cracks and chips, during handling of the exterior wall panel material 10. In contrast, the exterior wall panel 1 of this embodiment is provided with a reinforcing member 30, which reduces damage to the exterior wall panel material 10 during handling. In other words, even though the exterior wall panel 1 of this embodiment has an elongated configuration, it is easy to use in the manufacture of buildings 100. This reduces constraints on the shape of the exterior wall panel 1, thereby increasing the degree of freedom in the design of the building 100. Note that "elongated in the parallel direction B" means that the length of the exterior wall panel 1 in the parallel direction B is greater than the length of the exterior wall panel 1 in the perpendicular direction C. Specifically, the exterior wall panel 1 of this embodiment may be configured so that the ratio of the length in the parallel direction B to the length in the perpendicular direction C is preferably 10 to 30, more preferably 12 to 25, and even more preferably 15 to 20.

[0058] Furthermore, the exterior wall panel 1 of this embodiment is configured so that the length in the orthogonal direction C is equal to or less than a predetermined value. Conventionally, an exterior wall panel 1 having a length in the orthogonal direction C equal to or less than a predetermined value is prone to damage, such as cracks and chips, during handling of the exterior wall panel material 10, making it difficult to use in manufacturing the building 100. In contrast, the exterior wall panel 1 of this embodiment is provided with the reinforcing member 30, which can suppress damage during handling of the exterior wall panel material 10. In other words, the exterior wall panel 1 of this embodiment is easy to use in manufacturing the building 100 even if the length in the orthogonal direction C is equal to or less than a predetermined value. This reduces constraints on the shape of the exterior wall panel 1, thereby increasing the degree of freedom in designing the building 100. Specifically, the exterior wall panel 1 of this embodiment may be configured so that the predetermined value is preferably 200 mm, more preferably 160 mm, and even more preferably 144 mm.

[0059] The exterior wall panel and building according to the present invention are not limited to the specific configurations shown in the above-described embodiments, and various modifications, changes, and combinations are possible without departing from the scope of the claims. For example, although Fig. 1 shows an example in which the exterior wall panel 1 is attached to the structural frame 101 with the parallel direction B of the exterior wall panel 1 aligned with the vertical direction, the exterior wall panel 1 may also be attached to the structural frame 101 with the parallel direction B aligned with the horizontal direction.
