Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a marking jig, and more particularly to a marking jig for attaching a mark to a vehicle body. [Background technology]
[0002] Marks such as emblems are affixed to predetermined positions on the body of automobiles. Traditionally, marks representing the vehicle name or the like were affixed to the body in predetermined positions with the letters of the mark closely spaced apart, but in recent years, designs in which the letters of the mark are affixed to the back door with space between them have become more common.
[0003] Patent Documents 1 and 2 disclose devices for attaching marks such as emblems to vehicle bodies. However, the devices disclosed in Patent Documents 1 and 2 are devices used when the characters that make up the mark are close to each other.
[0004] When attaching the letters that make up the mark to the vehicle body while separating them from each other, the letters are usually peeled off one by one from the sheet and attached to the vehicle body using a jig 70 such as that shown in Fig. 7. The jig 70 shown in Fig. 7 is used to determine the positions of the letters A, B, C, D, and E on the surface of the vehicle body 71, and is fixed to the vehicle body 71 when attaching the letters A, B, C, D, and E to the vehicle body, to specify the attachment positions of the letters A, B, C, D, and E. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0005] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Publication No. 2022-007449 [Patent Document 2] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 07-291048 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0006] However, the application method using the jig 70 shown in Figure 7 takes time because each character must be peeled off the sheet and applied to the vehicle body, and the application work requires the worker to be in a crouched position, which places a heavy burden on the worker. There is also a risk that the characters will be applied in the wrong order or upside down.
[0007] In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a marking jig that can accurately affix marks to a vehicle body in a short amount of time. [Means for solving the problem]
[0008] A first aspect of the present invention is a mark application jig comprising a main body having a plurality of rubber frames that hold a plurality of letter plates, a plurality of holding blocks that hold a plurality of rubber frames, a fixing portion for fixing to a desired vehicle body, a setting portion for fixing the plurality of holding blocks when setting the plurality of letter plates on each of the plurality of rubber frames, and a plurality of holding block guide portions for applying each of the plurality of letter plates to a desired position on the vehicle body, wherein the plurality of holding blocks are pushed toward the vehicle body in the plurality of holding block guide portions, and each of the plurality of letter plates is positioned and applied to the vehicle body.
[0009] In the first aspect of the present invention, the main body portion may further have a guide, and each of the plurality of holding blocks may move between the setting portion and the plurality of holding block guide portions by moving along the guide.
[0010] In the first embodiment of the present invention, the plurality of rubber frames may be either a square frame or a square-shaped frame having two square pillar-shaped rubber rods on top and bottom.
[0011] In the first aspect of the present invention, the plurality of rubber frames may hold the plurality of character plates, respectively, by the elastic force of the rubber.
[0012] In a first aspect of the present invention, the multiple letter plates are arranged side by side on a sheet before being set into each of the multiple rubber frames, and the multiple holding blocks may be arranged in the setting section so that the multiple letter plates arranged side by side on the sheet are simultaneously set into each of the multiple rubber frames.
[0013] In a first aspect of the present invention, the multiple holding blocks are connected to each other by strings, and all of the multiple holding blocks can be moved to their respective multiple holding block guide portions by moving at least one of the two outermost holding blocks among the multiple holding blocks to a predetermined holding block guide portion.
[0014] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a marking jig that can accurately affix a mark to a vehicle body in a short time. [Brief explanation of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0016] Next, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the description of the drawings relating to the embodiment, the same or similar parts are designated by the same or similar reference numerals. However, it should be noted that the drawings are schematic, and the relationship between planar dimensions and the like may differ from the actual ones. Therefore, specific dimensions should be determined with reference to the following description. Furthermore, it goes without saying that the drawings may include parts with different dimensional relationships and ratios.
[0017] Furthermore, the embodiments are merely examples of devices and methods for embodying the technical idea of the present invention, and the technical idea of the present invention does not limit the configuration, arrangement, layout, etc. of each component to those described below. The technical idea of the present invention can be modified in various ways within the technical scope defined by the claims.
[0018] (Embodiment) 1, the mark pasting jig according to this embodiment is a jig for quickly and accurately pasting a mark consisting of a plurality of letter plates 13a, 13b, 13c, 13d, and 13e on a back door portion 12 of a desired automobile body 11, with the plurality of letter plates 13a to 13e spaced apart from one another. In this embodiment, the back door portion 12 of the vehicle body 11 is used as an example. Of course, the mark pasting jig can also be applied to vehicle body locations other than those shown in the drawings.
[0019] A mark application jig 10 according to this embodiment is shown in Figures 2 and 3. Figure 2 is a front perspective view of the mark application jig 10, and Figure 3 is an enlarged view of rubber frames 14a, 14b, 14c, 14d, and 14e on the back of the mark application jig 10 shown in Figure 2, where the positions of the multiple holding blocks 15a, 15b, 15c, 15d, and 15e of the mark application jig 10 shown in Figure 2 have been changed. The mark application jig 10 shown in Figures 1 and 2 is composed of multiple rubber frames 14a to 14e, multiple holding blocks 15a to 15e, fixing portions 16a and 16b, a setting portion 17, and a main body portion 19 having multiple holding block guide portions 18a, 18b, 18c, 18d, and 18e.
[0020] Each of the multiple rubber frames 14a-14e holds a corresponding one of the multiple letter plates 13a-13e. Each of the multiple rubber frames 14a-14e may have a square frame shape or a square-shaped configuration in which two square-prism-shaped rubber rods are arranged one above the other with the axes of the square pillars horizontally parallel to each other. Each of the multiple letter plates 13a-13e is sandwiched between the square-frame-shaped rubber of the multiple rubber frames 14a-14e or the two square-prism-shaped rubber rods arranged in a square-shaped configuration, and is held in place by the contraction force of the rubber.
[0021] Of the multiple rubber frames 14a to 14e shown in FIG. 3, for example, the rubber frame 14c has a rectangular frame shape, and the rubber frames 14a, 14b, 14d, and 14e have a square shape.
[0022] The plurality of holding blocks 15a to 15e have flat surfaces 23a to 23e on the rear side of the mark pasting jig 10 shown in FIG. 3, and the plurality of rubber frames 14a to 14e are respectively placed on the flat surfaces 23a to 23e.
[0023] The main body portion 19 has fixing portions 16a and 16b, a setting portion 17, and a plurality of holding block guide portions 18a to 18e.
[0024] The fixing portions 16a and 16b fix the main body 19 to a desired position on the vehicle body. As shown in Fig. 2, the fixing portions 16a and 16b are, for example, screw holes into which bolts for fixing the marking jig 10 to the vehicle body are attached, and when fixing the marking jig 10 to the vehicle body, the marking jig 10 is fixed by the bolts attached to the screw holes of the fixing portions 16a and 16b into screw holes for installing the license plate. The form of the fixing portions 16a and 16b shown in Fig. 3 is one example, and any form may be used as long as it is possible to fix the marking jig 10 to the vehicle body.
[0025] The setting unit 17 secures the holding blocks 15a-15e when the character plates 13a-13e are set in the rubber frames 14a-14e, respectively. The setting unit 17 of the mark application jig 10 according to this embodiment is composed of a stopper 17a that secures the holding block 15c to the main body 19. As will be described later with reference to FIGS. 5(b) and 5(c), the stopper 17a of the mark application jig 10 according to this embodiment is secured to the main body 19 and has a space 24 that penetrates from the front to the back of the mark application jig 10. The holding block 15c is housed in the space 24 of the stopper 17a, with a portion of it protruding from the front and back of the mark application jig 10, the portion exposed to the front having the shape of a switch, and the rubber frame 14c attached to the portion exposed to the back. When the mark pasting jig 10 is fixed to the vehicle body and the holding block 15c is pressed from the front side of the mark pasting jig 10, the flat surface 23c to which the rubber frame 14c is attached is pushed out toward the vehicle body.
[0026] After fixing the main body 19 to the vehicle body by the fixing portions 16a and 16b, the plurality of holding block guide portions 18a to 18e guide the plurality of holding blocks 15a to 15e to attach the plurality of letter plates 13a to 13e to desired positions on the vehicle body. The plurality of holding block guide portions 18a to 18e have windows 25a, 25b, 25d, and 25e that penetrate from the front side to the back side of the main body 19. As will be described later, the frame portions of the mark affixing jig 10 of the windows 25a, 25b, 25d, and 25e are chamfered.
[0027] The main body 19 may further include a guide portion 20. Each of the multiple holding blocks moves along a guide to move between the setting portion and one or more piece guide portions. In FIGS. 2 and 3, the guide portion 20 of the mark pasting jig 10 according to this embodiment is, as an example, strip-shaped stainless steel thin plates 21a and 21b. The stainless steel thin plate 21a has both ends fixed to the first guide fixing portion 26a and the stopper 17a, and the stainless steel thin plate 21b has both ends fixed to the second guide fixing portion 26b and the stopper 17a. The holding blocks 15a, 15b, 15d, and 15e have gaps 22a, 22b, 22d, and 22e through which the stainless steel thin plates 21a and 21b pass. By passing stainless steel thin plate 21a through gaps 22a and 22b and stainless steel thin plate 21b through gaps 22d and 22e, holding blocks 15a and 15b are held between first guide fixing portion 26a and stopper 17a and can slide between first guide fixing portion 26a and stopper 17a, and holding blocks 15d and 15e are held between second guide fixing portion 26b and stopper 17a and can slide between second guide fixing portion 26b and stopper 17a. When holding blocks 15a to 15e are pressed into holding block guide portions 18a to 18e, stainless steel thin plates 21a and 21b bend, allowing holding blocks 15a to 15e to be pressed in.
[0028] The guide portion 20 of the mark pasting jig 10 according to this embodiment is made up of stainless steel thin plates 21a, 21b, but is not limited to this and may be configured, for example, so that rails are provided on the main body portion 19 and the holding block slides along the rails, or so that a pulley or the like is provided on the holding block and the holding block slides using the pulley. Also, while the stainless steel thin plates 21a, 21b described above use a material that can bend, the guide portion 20 may be made up of a strip-shaped thin plate made of a non-flexible metal material, rubber, resin material, or the like, and the portion that secures the thin plate to the main body portion 19 may be configured to move in conjunction with the movement of the holding block when the holding block is pushed into the holding block guide portion.
[0029] The multiple character plates 13a-13e attached by the mark attaching jig 10 according to this embodiment are made of resin or metal. When the multiple character plates 13a-13e are set in the multiple rubber frames, they are set in the rubber frames 14a-14e by the contraction forces of the multiple rubber frames 14a-14e. For this reason, the multiple character plates 13a-13e must be hard enough to not be deformed or damaged by the contraction forces of the rubber frames 14a-14e after being set in the rubber frames 14a-14e.
[0030] The multiple character plates 13a-13e are usually attached side by side to the same protective sheet before being set in each of the multiple rubber frames 14a-14e of the mark pasting jig 10. The sizes and shapes of the multiple holding blocks 15a-15e and the arrangement of the multiple rubber frames 14a-14e in the multiple holding blocks 15a-15e are determined so that when the multiple holding blocks 15a-15e are placed in the setting section, the multiple character plates 13a-13e attached side by side to the protective sheet can be set in each of the multiple rubber frames 14a-14e simultaneously.
[0031] The multiple letter plates 13a to 13e are attached side by side to the same protective sheet before being set in the rubber frames 14a to 14e, but the arrangement of each of the multiple letter plates 13a to 13e on the protective sheet is not always the same, and there may be differences in the arrangement for each protective sheet, such as the distance between the multiple letter plates 13a to 13e on the protective sheet being non-constant and containing errors.
[0032] 3, the rubber frames 14a-14e include a central rubber frame 14c that is rectangular, and the remaining rubber frames 14a, 14b, 14d, and 14e that are square-shaped, and the size of the rectangular shape of the rubber frame 14c is determined to match the size of the letter plate 13c. For example, if the rubber frames 14a-14e are all rectangular or have a shape that closely matches the shape of each of the letter plates 13a-13e, and the distances between the letter plates 13a-13e on the protective sheet are not constant, when the holding blocks 15a-15e are placed in the setting section, it becomes difficult to simultaneously set the letter plates 13a-13e that are attached side by side to the protective sheet into each of the rubber frames 14a-14e.
[0033] If the rubber frame is shaped like a square, even if the distance between the multiple letter plates 13a to 13e on the protective sheet is not constant for each sheet and there is an error, when the multiple holding blocks 15a to 15e are placed in the setting section, the multiple letter plates 13a to 13e that are attached side by side to the protective sheet can be set simultaneously in each of the multiple rubber frames 14a to 14e.
[0034] In Figure 3, rubber frame 14c has a square frame shape, so letter plate 13c is always accurately attached to the desired position on the vehicle body. If the distance between multiple letter plates 13a-13e on the protective sheet is not constant and errors occur, errors may occur in the horizontal positions of multiple letter plates 13a, 13b, 13d, and 13e in double-sided rubber frames 14a, 14b, 14d, and 14e. However, these errors are sufficiently small compared to the distance between multiple letter plates 13a-13e on the vehicle body that they are not visually noticeable. When a mark on a vehicle body is attached at a different angle, such as diagonally, from the desired angle of the letter plate at its original attachment position, people will easily notice that the letters are oriented diagonally, significantly damaging the appearance. The mark attachment jig 10 of this embodiment can attach multiple letter plates 13a-13e to the vehicle body at the desired angle.
[0035] The multiple letter plates 13a-13e may have adhesive applied to the back of each letter, and a protective sheet may be attached to the adhesive-coated surface. After the multiple letter plates 13a-13e are set in the multiple rubber frames 14a-14e, respectively, the protective sheet is peeled off from the multiple letter plates 13a-13e to reveal the adhesive-coated surface.
[0036] Next, with reference to FIGS. 2 to 5, a procedure for attaching multiple character plates 13a to 13e to desired positions on a vehicle body using the mark application jig 10 according to this embodiment will be described. FIG. 4(a) shows the mark application jig 10 according to this embodiment attached to the vehicle body, and FIG. 4(b) shows the state in which the holding blocks 15a, 15b, 15d, and 15e have been moved to the holding block guides 18a, 18b, 18c, and 18e in the state shown in FIG. 4(a). FIG. 5 is a top cross-sectional view of the mark application jig 10 according to this embodiment, taken along a plane passing through the multiple holding blocks and the main body 19, in the states shown in FIG. 4 and in the state shown in FIG. 4(b) where the holding blocks 15a to 15e have been pushed toward the vehicle body. In the states shown in FIGS. 2 to 5, the main body 19 is assumed to be fixed to the vehicle body in advance.
[0037] 4(a) and 5(a) show the state of the multiple holding blocks 15a to 15e when multiple character plates 13a to 13e are set in the multiple rubber frames 14a to 14e, respectively. The holding block 15c is fixed to the main body 19 by a stopper 17a. The holding blocks 15a, 15b, 15d, and 15e are set in a line so that they are in contact with the holding block 15c.
[0038] In the state shown in Figures 4(a) and 5(a), each of the multiple character plates 13a-13e attached to the protective sheet in a line is set into each of the multiple rubber frames 14a-14e from the back side of the mark pasting jig 10 shown in Figure 3, with the protective sheet still attached. The multiple character plates 13a-13e are pressed against the flat surfaces 23a-23e on the back side of the multiple holding blocks 15a-15e so that the surfaces of the multiple character plates 13a-13e that are not covered with adhesive are in contact, and each of the multiple character plates 13a-13e is held in place by the contracting force of the multiple rubber frames 14a-14e. In this state, the protective sheet is peeled off from the multiple character plates 13a-13e.
[0039] 4(b) and 5(b), holding blocks 15a, 15b, 15d, and 15e are moved to the positions of the holding block guide portions 18a, 18b, 18d, and 18e, respectively. Holding block 15c is fixed to main body portion 19 by stopper 17a and is therefore not moved.
[0040] 4(a) and 4(b), the plurality of holding blocks 15a to 15e may be connected to one another by strings 40a, 40b, 40c, and 40d. By connecting holding blocks 15a and 15b, holding blocks 15b and 15c, holding blocks 15c and 15d, and holding blocks 15d and 15e to one another by strings 40a, 40b, 40c, and 40d, respectively, and moving holding blocks 15a and 15e to the positions of holding block guides 18a and 18e, respectively, holding blocks 15b and 15d can be simultaneously moved to the positions of holding block guides 18b and 18d in conjunction with strings 40a and 40b and strings 40c and 40d, respectively. In the mark application jig 10 of this embodiment, the holding block 15c is fixed to the main body 19 by the stopper 17a, but if, for example, the holding block 15a or 15e is fixed by the stopper and the remaining holding blocks are connected by a string, all of the holding blocks can be moved by moving the outermost holding block that is not fixed to the stopper to the holding block guide section where it is pushed in.
[0041] In the state shown in FIG. 5(c), each of the holding blocks 15a-15e is pushed into the holding block guides 18a-18e from the front side of the mark application jig 10 toward the vehicle body. The back surfaces of the letter plates 13a-13e, which are attached with adhesive, are positioned at the desired positions on the vehicle body and adhered with the pre-applied adhesive. When the holding blocks 15a-15e are returned to the state shown in FIGS. 4(b) and 5(b), the adhesive applied to the back surfaces of the letter plates 13a-13e is stronger than the holding force due to the contraction of the rubber frames 14a-14e. Therefore, the letter plates 13a-13e are released from the rubber frames 14a-14e and placed at the desired positions on the vehicle body. Finally, the mark application jig 10 is removed from the vehicle body. Note that instead of adhesive, a bonding material such as double-sided tape may be used.
[0042] Fig. 6 shows the mark application jig 10 according to the present embodiment shown in Fig. 2 with the holding blocks 15a to 15e removed. The holding block guide portions 18a, 18b, 18d, and 18e may have chamfers 60 formed in the vicinity of the portions where the holding blocks 15a, 15b, 15d, and 15e are located in the states shown in Figs. 4(b) and 5(b). These chamfers 60 allow the holding blocks 15a to 15e to be easily pushed into the holding block guide portions 18a, 18b, 18d, and 18e from the states shown in Figs. 4(b) and 5(b) to the state shown in Fig. 5(c), even if the holding blocks 15a, 15b, 15d, and 15e are misaligned from the positions of the holding block guide portions 18a, 18b, 18d, and 18e.
[0043] The back surfaces of the letter plates 13a to 13e, to which the adhesive is applied, are attached to desired positions on the vehicle body in the state shown in Fig. 5(c). Therefore, the thickness of the rubber frames 14a to 14e is configured to be equal to or less than the thickness of each of the letter plates 13a to 13e.
[0044] According to the present invention, when a mark consisting of a plurality of letter plates is attached to the back door portion of a desired automobile body with the plurality of letter plates spaced apart from each other, it is possible to attach the mark accurately in a short time.
[0045] In this embodiment, we have described the case where a letter plate consisting of five characters is attached to a vehicle body using a mark attachment jig, but the number of characters is not limited to this, and the invention can be applied to any number of characters as long as the number of characters is two or more.
[0046] As mentioned above, the present invention naturally includes various embodiments not described herein. Therefore, the technical scope of the present invention is defined only by the invention-specifying matters according to the scope of the claims that are appropriate from the above description.
