Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a water-in-oil emulsion cosmetic that has little squeaky feeling even when it contains a high powder content, has excellent powder dispersion stability over time, and further has both water resistance and cleansability. [Background technology]
[0002] In the field of cosmetics, water-in-oil emulsion cosmetics have high water repellency, water resistance, and sweat resistance, and are also superior in skin protection and moisturizing properties to oil-in-water emulsion cosmetics, and are therefore widely used as hand creams, makeup cosmetics, sunscreen cosmetics, hair cosmetics, etc. Due to their characteristics, water-in-oil emulsion cosmetics are often used in cosmetics containing powder, such as foundations and sunscreen cosmetics. However, when a high content of functional powder is incorporated, while functionality such as UV protection and shielding properties can be enhanced, the desired functionality may not be achieved if the powder particles aggregate within the composition or settle over time. Furthermore, while water-in-oil emulsion cosmetics have high water resistance, cosmetics containing a high content of oily ingredients or cosmetics containing a high content of hydrophobic powders cannot be sufficiently removed by washing with a cleansing agent alone, and often require physical removal by rubbing, etc. Therefore, good cleansing properties are an important characteristic in reducing the burden on the skin caused by friction.
[0003] One technology for water-in-oil emulsion cosmetics containing powder has been reported, which contains a cross-linked polyether-modified silicone with a specific structure, a dextrin fatty acid ester and / or an inulin fatty acid ester, an acrylamide-based thickener, and 10% by mass or more of powder, and which exhibits excellent usability and powder dispersion stability (Patent Document 1). However, the compatibility of water resistance and cleansability was insufficient. Another technology for water-in-oil emulsion cosmetics containing a cross-linked polyether-modified silicone with a specific structure, a dextrin fatty acid ester and / or an inulin fatty acid ester, an acrylamide-based thickener, and 10% by mass or more of powder was reported, which contains 6 to 40% by mass of an ultraviolet absorber, an oil-phase thickener, and one or more hydrophobic powders selected from (i) hydrophobized talc, (ii) a silicone powder with an average particle size of 30 μm or more, and (iii) a cross-linked polymethyl methacrylate powder with a cross-linking density of 40% or more, and which contains no ultraviolet scattering agent or contains no more than 6% by mass of an ultraviolet scattering agent (Patent Document 2). However, the dispersion stability of the powder when incorporated at a high powder content was insufficient. A water-in-oil makeup cosmetic containing isostearic acid, a pigment-grade powder, an emulsifier with an HLB value of more than 0 and not more than 8, and water has been reported as a powder-containing cosmetic that combines water resistance and cleansing properties (Patent Document 3). However, scrubbing of the skin is required for thorough cleansing, and the burden on the skin is not sufficiently reduced. In other words, it is difficult to say that a water-in-oil emulsion cosmetic containing powder has been obtained that has little squeaky feeling, powder dispersion stability over time, good water resistance, and good cleansing properties.
