Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] The present invention relates to an oral composition. [Background technology]

[0002] Fluorides such as sodium fluoride are widely used as medicinal ingredients in oral compositions such as dentifrices because of their caries prevention effect. To ensure that fluoride acts effectively, it is effective to retain fluoride ions on the oral mucosa and tooth surfaces for a long period of time, and it is desirable to leave many fluoride ions in the oral cavity even after gargling and rinsing with water after use.

[0003] Patent Document 1 proposes a method of making calcium ions, fluoride ions, and phosphate ions coexist as a method of improving retention of fluoride ions. Patent Document 2 proposes a liquid oral composition that contains sodium fluoride (A), calcium glycerophosphate (B), condensed phosphoric acid or its salt (C), and a cationic bactericide (D), and that combines excellent fluoride retention with a sustained bactericidal effect against caries-causing bacteria, making it effective in preventing or suppressing dental caries. [0004] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2009-137863 [Patent Document 2] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2017-66036 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0005] However, according to the inventor's findings, while the formation of a complex between the (A), (B), and (C) components increases the retention of fluoride ions, it may also result in the formation of a viscous substance. If a viscous substance forms on the cap or cap fitting portion of a container containing an oral composition, this may impair the smoothness of opening and closing the cap. An object of the present invention is to provide an oral composition that has excellent retention of fluoride ions and can suppress the formation of viscous substances. An abrasive content of 0% by mass means that no abrasive is contained.

[0037] <Form, dosage form> The oral composition can be prepared in various forms, for example, liquid, paste, gel, or solid. The dosage form of the oral composition is not particularly limited. The dosage form of the oral composition is typically an oral preparation that is expelled from the oral cavity after use. Examples of oral preparations include dentifrices (liquid dentifrices, toothpastes, lubricating dentifrices, powder dentifrices, etc.), mouthwashes, gargles, liniments, mouth sprays, patches, sheets, oral sustained-release preparations, chewable preparations, oral dissolving preparations, oral disintegrating preparations, tongue care preparations, mouth fresheners, denture care preparations, etc. The oral composition of this embodiment is suitable as a liquid preparation. The liquid preparation may be a liquid preparation of a concentrated type that is used as is, or a liquid preparation of a concentrated type that is diluted before use. Liquid preparations include undiluted mouthwashes, concentrated mouthwashes, undiluted liquid dentifrices, concentrated liquid dentifrices, undiluted mouthwashes, concentrated mouthwashes, undiluted mouth sprays, liquid preparations dispensed in foam form, etc. Liquid preparations other than liquid dentifrices do not usually contain non-solubilizable solid components such as abrasives.

[0038] The liquid preparation may be in the form of a product housed in a container having a cap attached to the opening of the container body for taking out the liquid preparation from the container body, for example. Examples of the cap include a screw cap, a toggle cap, a push-pull cap, a pump, etc. In particular, a toggle cap is preferred because the formation of a viscous substance makes the cap difficult to open and close, and the application of the present invention is particularly effective. A toggle cap has a toggle button attached to a cap body, for example, in a pivotal manner. The cap body has a liquid flow path communicating with the inside of the container, and the toggle button has an outlet for discharging the liquid and a liquid flow path connecting the outlet to the liquid flow path of the cap body. In a toggle cap, by operating the toggle button to switch between a position where the outlet is exposed to the outside and a position where the outlet is covered, it is possible to switch between discharging and stopping the discharge of the liquid from the container. For example, known toggle caps described in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open Publication No. 49-114015, Japanese Patent Publication No. 8-510978, Japanese Patent Publication No. 7154003, etc. can be used.

[0039] For example, the pH of the undiluted mouthwash at 25°C is preferably 5.5 to 8.0, more preferably 6.0 to 7.5. For example, the viscosity of the undiluted mouthwash at 25°C is preferably 1 to 100 mPa·s, more preferably 2 to 50 mPa·s, and even more preferably 3 to 30 mPa·s. In this specification, the viscosity of the oral composition is a value measured with a Brookfield viscometer.

[0040] The oral composition of this embodiment can be prepared by a known method, for example, by mixing components (A), (B), (C), and (D), and optionally other components, by a conventional method.

[0041] In the oral cavity composition, fluoride ions, calcium ions, and phosphorus ions form a complex, and the complex contributes to improving the retention of fluoride ions. The method for forming the above-mentioned complex is not particularly limited, but when preparing the oral composition, it is preferable to adopt, for example, a process of blending component (A) and component (C) and then blending component (B), or a process of blending component (B) and component (C) and then blending component (A). Note that if component (A) and component (B) are blended simultaneously, calcium fluoride may be partially produced, which may result in a lower efficiency of complex formation.

[0042] The oral composition described above contains components (A), (B), and (C), and therefore has excellent fluoride ion retention properties, and the inclusion of component (D) suppresses the formation of viscous substances. [Example]
