Abstract

The buyer is instructed to perform the payment process. [Solution] The product sales system comprises a missing information detection means and a control means. The missing information detection means detects whether or not there are any missing items in the information relating to the purchased product transmitted to the payment machine by the information transmission means of the sales processing device. If the missing information detection means detects that there are missing items in the information relating to the purchased product, the control means activates the settlement by the first settlement means of the sales processing device and invalidates the settlement by the second settlement means of the payment machine.
