An array of personal hygiene articles (10), comprising at least a first article and a second article, wherein the second article is larger in size than the first article. Each article comprises a rear waist gasket element (70) between a pair of elastic rear ears (32). Each rear ear (42) has an innermost edge (420) having a length (60). The waist gasket element (70) has a length (70) measured along the longitudinal centerline. Technical Field

[0001] The present disclosure relates to disposable absorbent articles such as diapers having a waist gasket element capable of containing bodily excretions such as feces. The absorbent article may be included in an array of articles of different sizes.

Background Art

[0002] Diapers and other similar personal hygiene absorbent articles are typically made from a chassis including a topsheet, a capture layer, an absorbent core, and a backsheet. Other components including elastic parts are attached to the chassis. To improve the fit around the legs of the wearer, most diapers have inner elastic leg cuffs and outer elastic leg cuffs disposed along their longitudinal edges. Tape-type diapers further have a set of rear side ear parts each equipped with a fastening tab that can be fastened to the front of the article, thus forming a waist opening around the waist of the wearer. These rear side ear parts are typically elastic components such as a laminate including an elastic film, and are attached to the chassis of the article at their innermost edges by an adhesive and / or mechanical coupling.
