Abstract

Energy conversion device and vehicle. The energy conversion device comprises an electric motor (10), an electronic control unit (20), a traction battery (30), and a controller (40). The controller (40) controls all bridge arms (21) corresponding to the windings of the electric motor (10) so that coordination of drive and battery self-heating is achieved, and is configured to control the peaks and troughs of the real N-line current flowing through the N-line of the electric motor to cancel out or superimpose on the peaks and troughs of the real-phase current flowing through each phase of the windings of the electric motor (10), thereby decreasing or increasing the amplitude of the real-phase current of each phase of the windings at the peaks and troughs, thereby providing the electric motor (10) with a larger phase current to drive the electric motor (10). Thus, the torque output from the electric motor (10) is increased, thereby improving the overall dynamic performance of the vehicle or increasing the heat output of the electric drive system.
