Abstract

The present invention relates to a compound of formula (I), which is a delivery system based on a photosensitive cyclic acetal or ketal compound that can release an active volatile carbonyl compound into the surroundings in a controlled manner upon exposure. Furthermore, the present invention relates to the use of the compound in cosmetics, and to a fragranced composition or a fragranced consumer product containing the compound of the present invention.
