Control method and related apparatus for cleaning equipment

Abstract

The embodiments of this application disclose a control method and related devices for a cleaning device. The control method provided in the embodiments of this application, after receiving a first cleaning command, first controls the cleaning device to clean the area where the target carpet is located, then cleans non-target areas within the work area other than the target carpet area, and ensures that the cleaning member of the cleaning device is not wet when cleaning the target carpet area. This significantly reduces the probability that a wet cleaning member of the cleaning device will enter the target carpet area when cleaning the non-target areas. Even if the cleaning member of the cleaning device becomes wet when cleaning the non-target areas, the probability that the wet cleaning member will wet the carpet in the target carpet area is significantly reduced, thereby ensuring the dryness and cleanliness of the carpet within the target carpet area for the user and improving the user experience.
