Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a heavy object transporting device used for loading and transporting heavy machines and the like.
Background Art
[0002] When it is necessary to transport heavy objects, such as when installing heavy machines in a factory, the heavy objects are placed on a heavy object transporting device and carried. FIG. 3 is a diagram showing a general heavy object transporting situation. Outside the factory 60, an iron plate 30 is laid on a roadbed on which blocks 40 and the like are stacked, and a heavy object transporting device 100 with a heavy object 50 placed thereon is moved. A general heavy object transporting device 100 used here has tires provided on a frame, and some of these heavy object transporting devices 100 have a handle attached thereto and are manually moved, while others utilize the driving force of a motor as described in Patent Document 1. And, some heavy object transporting devices 100 are provided with a top plate for placing heavy objects on the upper surface of the frame, while others are not.
[0003] FIG. 4 shows a conventional heavy object transporting device provided with a top plate, where (a) is a perspective view and (b) is a front view. The heavy object transporting device 80 has four openings 81d in the main body frame 81, and tires 82 are provided in the openings 81d. Also, a rotatable disk-shaped top plate 83 is attached to the upper surface side of the main body frame 81. With such a top plate 83, it is possible to easily change the direction when transporting heavy objects. Further, FIG. 5 shows a conventional heavy object transporting device not provided with a top plate, where (a) is a perspective view and (b) is a front view. The heavy object transporting device 90 not provided with a top plate shown here has six openings 91d in the main body frame 91, and tires 92 are provided in the openings 91d.
[0004] Here, when the height of the factory entrance is low and the building comes into contact with the heavy object, it may be necessary to abandon the loading of the heavy object. Therefore, since there may be a need for a heavy object transport device with a lower overall height, even if the direction change is difficult, there are situations where a heavy object transport device 90 without a top plate with a lower height is used.
[0005] When transporting heavy objects using such heavy object transport devices 80 and 90, in order to keep the height as low as possible, the gap from the floor surface to the lower surface of the main body frames 81 and 91 is suppressed to be as small as possible. That is, the portions of the tires 82 and 92 protruding downward from the main body frames 81 and 91 are slight. Therefore, if there are small steps or obstacles on the floor surface due to curing or the like, it may come into contact with the handle attachment portions 85 and 95 or the main body frames 81 and 91, preventing the smooth movement of the heavy object transport devices 80 and 90.

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0007] In view of such circumstances, the present invention relates to a heavy object transport device, and an object thereof is to provide a device that can move smoothly even when there are small steps or obstacles on the floor surface.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0008] The heavy object transporting device according to the present invention is a heavy object transporting device used for loading and transporting heavy objects, and includes a plate-shaped main body frame having a plurality of openings and a plurality of tires provided across the openings. The portion of the main body frame located in front of the tire positioned at the foremost side in the traveling direction of the heavy object transporting device and behind the tire positioned at the rearmost side is defined as the frame end portion, and the portion of the main body frame having the thickest plate thickness between the front and rear frame end portions is defined as the frame central portion. The gap from the floor surface to the lower surface of the main body frame is wider at the frame end portion than at the frame central portion.
[0009] Here, it is preferable to have a handle attachment portion protruding from the frame end portion on the front side or the rear side in the traveling direction of the heavy object transporting device, and the thickness of the handle attachment portion is the same as the plate thickness of the frame end portion. Further, it is preferable that the frame end portion and the frame central portion are connected by a slope on the lower surface of the main body frame.
Advantages of the Invention
[0010] According to the present invention, even when there are small steps or obstacles due to curing or the like on the floor surface, the heavy object transporting device can be smoothly moved.

Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention
[0012] The present invention is a heavy object transporting device used for loading and transporting heavy objects, which can move smoothly even if there are small steps or obstacles on the floor surface. Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0013] FIG. 1 is a heavy object transporting device provided with a top plate, where (a) is a perspective view, (b) is a front view, and (c) is an enlarged cross-sectional view taken along line A-A. The heavy object transporting device 10 of the present invention mainly includes a main body frame 11 and a plurality of tires 12 attached to an opening 11c of the main body frame 11. Further, a top plate 13 having a disk shape and rotatable about a central position is provided on the upper surface side of the central portion of the main body frame 11, and a handle attachment portion 15 is provided on the outer side in the front-rear direction of the main body frame 11. When moving the heavy object transporting device 10, a handle is attached to the handle attachment portion 15, and the handle is pushed or pulled to transport the heavy object.
[0014] The main body frame 11 is made of a thick plate-shaped metal member having a substantially rectangular outer shape, and a handle attachment portion 15 is provided on the outer side thereof. There are four openings 11d penetrating the plate inside the substantially rectangular shape. And two tires 12 are attached to one opening 11d. Note that the number of the openings 11d may increase or decrease depending on the weight of the assumed heavy object, and in the case of a large load-bearing capacity, six openings may be provided to increase the number of tires. Also, the number of tires 12 provided at one location may increase or decrease, and in some cases, three tires may be attached.
[0015] The tire 12 is based on a urethane tire, and the tire 12 is provided across each opening 11d. The phrase "provided across the opening 11d" means a structure in which the central axis of the tire 12 connects the respective side surfaces of the frame passing through the outer periphery and the center of the main body frame 11. By adopting such a structure, all the tires 12 are accommodated inside the opening 11d, and the lower end of the tire 12 slightly protrudes below the main body frame 11 to contact the floor surface. Here, since it is desired to keep the overall height of the heavy object transport device 10 as low as possible, it is desirable to make the protruding amount of the tire 12 from the main body frame 11 toward the floor surface as small as possible. Therefore, the protruding amount of the tire 12 is determined in consideration of the deformation amount of the tire 12 when a specified heavy object is loaded, so that the main body frame 11 does not contact the ground.
[0016] Here, if the plate thickness of the main body frame 11 and the thickness of the handle attachment portion 15 are all made constant as in the prior art, steps or obstacles due to curing or the like laid on the floor surface are likely to contact the main body frame 11 or the handle attachment portion 15, which may hinder the smooth movement of the heavy object transport device 10.
[0017] Therefore, as shown in FIGS. 1(b) and 1(c), the portions of the main body frame 11 that are located in front of the tire 12 positioned at the frontmost side in the traveling direction of the heavy object transporting device 10 and behind the tire 12 positioned at the rearmost side are defined as frame end portions 11b, and when the portion of the main body frame 11 with the thickest plate thickness between the front and rear frame end portions 11b is defined as the frame central portion 11a, the gap from the floor surface to the lower surface of the main body frame 11 is made wider at the frame end portions 11b than at the frame central portion 11a. Note that the thickness of the handle attachment portion 15 is made the same as the plate thickness of the frame end portion 11b. That is, the upper surfaces of the main body frame 11 and the handle attachment portion 15 are made flat, and the plate thickness of the frame end portions 11b and the handle attachment portion 15 is made thinner than that of the frame central portion 11a. With such a configuration, a space is formed between the main body frame 11 and the floor surface in front of the tire 12 positioned at the frontmost side in the traveling direction and behind the tire 12 positioned at the rearmost side, so that obstacles and the like come into direct contact with the tire 12 without touching the main body frame 11. Then, the tire 12 can easily overcome obstacles and the like, so that the heavy object transporting device 10 can move smoothly. Note that since the plate thickness of the frame central portion 11a is the same as that of the conventional main body frame, the rigidity of the main body frame 11 can maintain sufficient strength, and there is no problem with the load-bearing capacity of the heavy object transporting device 10 itself.
[0018] Furthermore, on the lower surface of the main body frame 11, it is preferable that the frame end portion 11b and the frame central portion 11a are connected by an inclined surface 11s. By providing such an inclined surface 11s, it becomes easier to smoothly overcome obstacles on the floor surface.
[0019] Also, as another example, a heavy object transporter without a top plate is shown. FIG. 2 shows a heavy object transporter without a top plate, where (a) is a perspective view and (b) is a front view. This heavy object transporter 20 is an effective device especially when it is desired to suppress the overall height. In this heavy object transporter 20, there are six openings 11d, but it has the same configuration as the heavy object transporter 10 shown in FIG. 1 except for not using a top plate, and includes a main body frame 21 and tires 22. Also, the handle attachment portion 25 here is provided only on one side, but it may be provided before and after in the traveling direction.
[0020] Regarding this heavy object transporter 20 as well, it is assumed that the gap from the floor surface to the lower surface of the main body frame 21 is wider at the frame end portion 21b than at the frame central portion 21a. Also, on the lower surface of the main body frame 21, it is assumed that the frame end portion 21b and the frame central portion 21a are connected by an inclined surface 21s. By adopting such a configuration, while maintaining the rigidity of the main body frame 21, it is difficult for curing on the floor surface and obstacles to come into contact with the main body frame 21 and the handle attachment portion 25, and the movement of the heavy object transporter 20 can be made smooth.
