Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a trench cover, and more particularly to a trench cover provided with a main member having an anti-slip function.

Background Art

[0002] High anti-slip resistance is required for trench covers provided in road drainage ditches, particularly those on the side ditches or cross ditches of roads such as highways, roads with heavy traffic, or roads with many curves (also referred to as gratings). In such trench covers, generally, a main member with an anti-slip function (also referred to as a grating material for trench covers or bearing bars) is used.

[0003] For example, the applicant of the present application also disclosed in Patent Document 1 (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-336212) a novel anti-slip trench cover with high durability and little wear and deformation. The trench cover has a rod-shaped body (11) with a substantially T-shaped cross-section composed of a continuous standing piece portion (12) in the longitudinal direction and an upper piece portion (13) extending horizontally above the standing piece portion. A central protrusion row (21) protrudes substantially at the center in the width direction on the upper surface of the upper piece portion, and a first side end protrusion row (25) and a second side end protrusion row (27) protrude along both side ends of the upper piece portion. A grating material (main member) for a trench cover and a trench cover provided with such a grating material (main member) are disclosed.

Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0005] The inventor of the present invention has intensively studied to further improve the performance of such trench covers. As a result, particularly from the perspective of obtaining a sufficient anti-slip effect even when there is an intervening substance such as sand or water during rainfall, etc., the inventor has conceived that there is room for improvement in the form of the main member constituting the trench cover. Therefore, in view of the above problems, the present invention provides a trench cover provided with a main member with anti-slip properties, and aims to provide a trench cover that can maintain the anti-slip effect even in situations where sand, water, etc. are present during rainfall or the like.

Means for Solving the Problems

[0006] What achieves the above object is as follows. (1) It has a rod-shaped main body with a substantially T-shaped cross-section composed of a vertical piece portion continuous in the horizontal direction and an upper piece portion extending in a direction perpendicular to the horizontal direction at the upper part of the vertical piece portion. A first side end protrusion row and a second side end protrusion row are provided protruding along both side ends of the upper piece portion. The protrusions of the first side end protrusion row and the second side end protrusion row are intermittent protrusion ridges in the horizontal direction. The trench cover is formed by arranging a plurality of main members in parallel at regular intervals in a direction perpendicular to the horizontal direction. A through hole is formed in the vertical piece portion of the main member. A connecting pipe is inserted through the through hole and caulked before and after the through hole to form a deformed portion. The main member is fixed to the connecting pipe by the deformed portion. The main member includes a first intermittent space portion formed intermittently between two adjacent protrusion ridges of the first side end protrusion row, a second intermittent space portion formed intermittently between two adjacent protrusion ridges of the second side end protrusion row, and an intermittent space non-overlapping portion in which the protrusion ridges of the first side end protrusion row and the protrusion ridges of the second side end protrusion row do not overlap in the direction perpendicular to the horizontal direction, and the first intermittent space portion and the second intermittent space portion do not overlap. Furthermore, in the main member, an intermediate protrusion row is provided between the first side end protrusion row and the second side end protrusion row. The protrusions of the intermediate protrusion row are intermittent protrusion ridges in the horizontal direction. Both ends of each protrusion ridge of the intermediate protrusion row in the horizontal direction are located in the intermittent space non-overlapping portion. The trench cover further includes an intermittent space continuous portion in which the first intermittent space portion, the second intermittent space portion, and an intermediate intermittent space portion formed intermittently between two adjacent protrusion ridges of the intermediate protrusion row are linearly continuous at both side ends of the upper piece portion.

[0007] (2) The gutter cover according to (1) above, wherein the main member includes an intermittent space overlapping portion where the first intermittent space portion and the second intermittent space portion overlap in a direction orthogonal to the horizontal direction. (3) The gutter cover according to (1) above, wherein the main member includes an intermittent space overlapping portion where the first intermittent space portion, the second intermittent space portion, and the intermediate intermittent space portion overlap in a direction orthogonal to the horizontal direction. (4) The gutter cover according to (2) or (3) above, wherein a horizontal dimension of the intermittent space overlapping portion in the main member is 1 / 8 or less of a horizontal dimension of a portion other than the intermittent space overlapping portion in the main member.

Advantages of the Invention

[0008] In the gutter cover of the present invention, the main member includes a first intermittent space portion intermittently formed between two adjacent ridge portions of the first side end protrusion row, a second intermittent space portion intermittently formed between two adjacent ridge portions of the second side end protrusion row, an intermittent space non-overlapping portion where the ridge portions of the first side end protrusion row and the ridge portions of the second side end protrusion row do not overlap and the first intermittent space portion and the second intermittent space portion do not overlap in a direction orthogonal to the horizontal direction, and further, an intermediate protrusion row protrudes between the first side end protrusion row and the second side end protrusion row in the main member. The protrusions of the intermediate protrusion row are intermittent ridge portions in the horizontal direction, both end portions in the horizontal direction of each ridge portion of the intermediate protrusion row are present in the intermittent space non-overlapping portion, and the first intermittent space portion, the second intermittent space portion, and an intermediate intermittent space portion intermittently formed between two adjacent ridge portions of the intermediate protrusion row include an intermittent space continuous portion that is linearly continuous at both side ends of the upper piece portion. Thereby, the anti-slip effect of the gutter cover can be maintained even in a situation where sand, water, etc. are interposed, such as during rainfall.

Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention

[0010] The trench cover of the present invention will be described using the embodiments shown in the drawings. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 7, the trench cover 1 of the present invention has a rod-shaped main body 11 with a substantially T-shaped cross section, which consists of a standing piece portion 12 continuous in the horizontal direction (X direction in FIGS. 1 and 4) and an upper piece portion 13 extending in a direction perpendicular to the horizontal direction (Y direction in FIGS. 1 and 4) above the standing piece portion 12. First side end protrusion rows 14 and second side end protrusion rows 15 project along both side ends of the upper piece portion 13, and the protrusions of the first side end protrusion rows 14 and the second side end protrusion rows 15 are intermittent protrusion ridges 16, 17 in the horizontal direction. The trench cover 1 is formed by arranging the main members 10 at regular intervals in a direction perpendicular to the horizontal direction. A through hole 18 is formed in the standing piece portion 12 of the main member 10, and a connecting pipe 30 is inserted through the through hole 18 and caulked before and after the through hole 18 to form a deformed portion 31. The main member 10 is fixed to the connecting pipe 30 by the deformed portion 31. The main member 10 includes a first intermittent space portion 19 formed intermittently between two adjacent protrusion ridges 16, 16 of the first side end protrusion row 14, a second intermittent space portion 20 formed intermittently between two adjacent protrusion ridges 17, 17 of the second side end protrusion row 15, and an intermittent space non-overlapping portion 21 in which the protrusion ridge 16 of the first side end protrusion row 14 and the protrusion ridge 17 of the second side end protrusion row 15 do not overlap in a direction perpendicular to the horizontal direction, and the first intermittent space portion 19 and the second intermittent space portion 20 do not overlap. Further, in the main member 10, an intermediate protrusion row 22 projects between the first side end protrusion row 14 and the second side end protrusion row 15. The protrusions of the intermediate protrusion row 22 are intermittent protrusion ridges 23 in the horizontal direction. Both ends of each protrusion ridge 23 of the intermediate protrusion row 22 in the horizontal direction are located in the intermittent space non-overlapping portion 21, and the first intermittent space portion 19, the second intermittent space portion 20, and an intermediate intermittent space portion 24 formed intermittently between two adjacent protrusion ridges 23, 23 of the intermediate protrusion row 22 are provided with an intermittent space continuous portion 25 that is linearly continuous at both side ends of the upper piece portion 13.

[0011] As shown in FIG. 1, the trench cover 1 of this invention includes frame members 28, 28 (here, a pair of frame members 28, 28 arranged in parallel) made of stainless steel, castings, etc., which define a part of the outer shape of a predetermined trench cover, a main member 10 provided within the frame members 28, 28, and a connecting pipe 30. Details of the main member 10 will be described later.

[0012] The trench cover 1 includes a plurality of main members 10 arranged side by side, and a connecting pipe 30 inserted into a through hole 18 formed in the standing piece portion 12 of the main member 10. As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the connecting pipe 30 is caulked before and after the through hole 18 to form a deformed portion 31, and the main member 10 is fixed to the connecting pipe 30 by the deformed portion 31. As the connecting pipe, stainless steel or the like can be used, and the caulked portion (the deformed portion 31 including the deformed portion 31a which is the maximum deformed portion) can be formed by pressing or the like. In addition, if a dedicated jig is used, the caulked portion (the deformed portion 31 including the deformed portion 31a which is the maximum deformed portion) can be formed in a large quantity at one time, the processing speed can be significantly increased, and the cost can be greatly reduced. For example, when the diameter of the through hole formed in the leg portion of the main member is about 9 mm, the diameter of the connecting pipe is 8 mm, and the height of the caulked portion (the deformed portion 31a which is the maximum deformed portion formed before and after the through hole 18 in the deformed portion 31 as shown in FIG. 6) is preferably about 10 mm, but it is not limited thereto.

[0013] The main member (lattice material for trench cover) 10 of this embodiment is formed by forming (molding) a long bar-shaped steel material extending in the horizontal direction (X direction in FIGS. 1 and 4). As the material of such a main member 10, stainless steel or casting may be selected. This main member 10 has a bar-shaped main body 11 with a substantially T-shaped cross section composed of a standing piece portion 12 continuous in the horizontal direction and an upper piece portion 13 extending in a direction orthogonal to the horizontal direction (Y direction in FIGS. 1 and 4) above the standing piece portion 12. In the embodiment, the standing piece portion 12 and the upper piece portion 13 have substantially the same thickness. In the figure, reference numeral 26 represents the thick portion at the upper part of the standing piece portion 12.

[0014] On the upper piece portion 13 of the main member 10 (rod-shaped body 11), a first side end protrusion row 14 and a second side end protrusion row 15 are provided protruding along both side ends thereof. Specifically, the first side end protrusion row 14 and the second side end protrusion row 15 are protrusions formed in a row along both side ends of the upper piece portion 13. In this embodiment, the protrusions of the first side end protrusion row 14 and the second side end protrusion row 15 are each composed of a plurality of protruding strip portions 16, 17 provided intermittently in the horizontal direction. Each of the protruding strip portions 16, 17 protrudes upward from the upper surface of the upper piece portion 13. The height (protrusion height from the upper surface of the upper piece portion 13) of each of the protruding strip portions 16, 17 in this embodiment is about 3.6 mm, and the width (vertical dimension in FIG. 4) is about 3.5 mm at the bottom (lower end portion) and about 2 mm at the upper portion (upper end portion). In other words, the side surfaces of each of the protruding strip portions 16, 17 in this embodiment are inclined so that the width becomes narrower upward (the cross-section in the plane orthogonal to the protruding direction is smaller). Note that the size and shape of each protruding strip portion are not limited to those described above, and can be appropriately determined according to the size of the groove cover, the main member, etc.

[0015] Also, in this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4, when the main member 10 (upper piece portion 13) is viewed from above, both horizontal end edges (left and right end edges in FIG. 4) of each of the protruding strip portions 16, 17 of the first side end protrusion row 14 and the second side end protrusion row 15 are inclined upward and to the right (downward and to the left) in FIG. 4. Thereby, when the main member 10 (upper piece portion 13) is viewed from above, each of the protruding strip portions 16, 17 has a substantially parallelogram shape.

[0016] As shown in FIG. 4, the main member 10 of this embodiment includes a first intermittent space portion 19 formed intermittently between two adjacent protruding strip portions 16, 16 of the first side end protrusion row 14, and a second intermittent space portion 20 formed intermittently between two adjacent protruding strip portions 17, 17 of the second side end protrusion row 15. Further, the main member 10 includes an intermittent space non-overlapping portion 21 (the portion of the range indicated by T1 in FIG. 4) in which the protruding strip portion 16 of the first side end protrusion row 14 and the protruding strip portion 17 of the second side end protrusion row 15 do not overlap in the direction orthogonal to the horizontal direction, and the first intermittent space portion 19 and the second intermittent space portion 20 do not overlap.

[0017] In the main member 10 of the present embodiment, one ridge portion 16 of the first side-end protrusion row 14 and one ridge portion 17 of the second side-end protrusion row 15 corresponding to the ridge portion 16 are formed so as to partially overlap in a direction orthogonal to the horizontal direction (the portion in the range indicated by T2 in FIG. 4). By arranging in this way, a vehicle or the like traveling in a direction orthogonal to the horizontal direction of the upper piece portion 13 comes into contact with the ridge portions 16 and 17 in a wide range of the main member 10, and can maintain a high sliding resistance. In the present embodiment, one ridge portion 16 of the first side-end protrusion row 14 and the ridge portion 17 of the second side-end protrusion row 15 corresponding to the ridge portion 16 are formed so as to be displaced along the shapes of both edge portions of the above-described parallelogram shape. That is, as shown in FIG. 4, one ridge portion 17 of the second side-end protrusion row 15 corresponding to one ridge portion 16 of the first side-end protrusion row 14 is formed so as to be displaced above and to the right of one ridge portion 16 of the first side-end protrusion row 14.

[0018] As shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, an intermediate protrusion row 22 protrudes between the first side-end protrusion row 14 and the second side-end protrusion row 15 of the main member 10, and the protrusions of the intermediate protrusion row 22 are a plurality of ridge portions 23 provided intermittently in the horizontal direction. And both end portions of each ridge portion 23 of the intermediate protrusion row 22 in the horizontal direction are both present in the above-described intermittent space non-overlapping portion 21 (the portion in the range indicated by T1 in FIG. 4). Thereby, an appropriate anti-slip effect can be obtained even in the intermittent space non-overlapping portion 21 where the ridge portion 16 of the first side-end protrusion row 14 and the ridge portion 17 of the second side-end protrusion row 15 do not overlap, and the first intermittent space portion 19 and the second intermittent space portion 20 do not overlap.

[0019] Also, in this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4, when the main member 10 (upper piece portion 13) is viewed from above, both horizontal end edges (left and right end edges in FIG. 4) of each rib portion 23 of the intermediate protrusion row 22 are inclined upward and to the right (downward and to the left) in FIG. 4. As a result, when the main member 10 (upper piece portion 13) is viewed from above, each rib portion 23 has a substantially parallelogram shape. In this embodiment, one rib portion 23 of the intermediate protrusion row 22 is displaced along the shapes of both end edges of the above-described parallelogram shape from one rib portion 16 of the first side end protrusion row 14 and the rib portion 17 of the second side end protrusion row 15 corresponding to the rib portion 23. That is, as shown in FIG. 4, one rib portion 23 of the intermediate protrusion row 22 is displaced above and to the right of one rib portion 16 of the first side end protrusion row 14 corresponding to the rib portion 23, and is displaced below and to the left of one rib portion 17 of the second side end protrusion row 15 corresponding to the rib portion 23.

[0020] Furthermore, the main member 10 includes a discontinuous space continuous portion 25 in which a first discontinuous space portion 19, a second discontinuous space portion 20, and an intermediate discontinuous space portion 24 formed intermittently between two adjacent rib portions 23, 23 of the intermediate protrusion row 22 are linearly continuous at both side ends of the upper piece portion 13. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 4, in the portion of the range indicated by T3 in FIG. 4, a straight line (for example, the virtual line L1 shown in FIG. 4) passing through all of the first discontinuous space portion 19, the second discontinuous space portion 20, and the intermediate discontinuous space portion 24 can be defined between one side end (for example, a point P1 at one side end shown in FIG. 4) and the other side end (for example, a point P2 at the other side end shown in FIG. 4) of the upper piece portion 13. Thereby, in a situation where sand, water, etc. are interposed, such as during rainfall, the sand and water can be discharged from both side ends of the main member 10 through the discontinuous space continuous portion 25, and the anti-slip effect of the trench cover 1 can be maintained.

[0021] In the trench cover 1, it is preferable that in two adjacent main members 10, 10, the intermittent space continuous part 25 described above and the ridge part 16 of the first side end protrusion row 14 or the ridge part 17 of the second side end protrusion row 15 are provided alternately. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 4, on the extension line of the intermittent space continuous part 25 (the part in the range indicated by T3 in FIG. 4) of one main member 10 (for example, the second main member 10 from the top in FIG. 4), it is preferable that the ridge part 16 of the first side end protrusion row 14 of an adjacent main member 10 (for example, the topmost main member 10 in FIG. 4) exists. Also, on the extension line of the intermittent space continuous part 25 (the part in the range indicated by T3 in FIG. 4) of one main member 10 (for example, the second main member 10 from the top in FIG. 4), it is preferable that the ridge part 17 of the second side end protrusion row 15 of an adjacent main member 10 (for example, the bottommost main member 10 in FIG. 4) exists. Thereby, the anti-slip effect can be exerted well-balancedly in the whole trench cover 1.

[0022] Further, the main member 10 of the present embodiment includes an intermittent space overlapping part 27 where the first intermittent space part 19 and the second intermittent space part 20 overlap in a direction orthogonal to the horizontal direction. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 4, in the part in the range indicated by T4 in FIG. 4, the first intermittent space part 19 and the second intermittent space part 20 overlap. In other words, on the upper piece part 13 of the main member 10, an intermittent space overlapping part 27 where the ridge part 16 of the first side end protrusion row 14 and the ridge part 17 of the second side end protrusion row 15 do not exist is formed in a direction orthogonal to the horizontal direction. Thereby, in a situation where sand, water, etc. are interposed, such as during rainfall, the sand and water can be discharged through the intermittent space overlapping part 27, and the anti-slip effect of the trench cover 1 can be maintained. Note that such an intermittent space overlapping part 27 is preferably formed in a range of 1 / 8 or less of the other part (the part where the ridge part 16 of the first side end protrusion row 14 or the ridge part 17 of the second side end protrusion row 15 exists).

[0023] Further, in the intermittent space overlapping portion 27 of the main member 10 of the present embodiment, in the direction orthogonal to the horizontal direction, the ridge portions 23 of the intermediate protrusion row 22 are not present. In other words, the main member 10 includes an intermittent space overlapping portion 27 where the first intermittent space portion 19, the second intermittent space portion 20, and the intermediate intermittent space portion 24 overlap in the direction orthogonal to the horizontal direction. Thereby, in a situation where sand, water, etc. are interposed, such as during rainfall, the sand and water can be discharged through the intermittent space overlapping portion 27, and the anti-slip effect of the trench cover 1 can be maintained more effectively.
