Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a case, and more particularly to a case device with touch illumination. [Background technology]

[0002] With the development of the electronics industry, the function and design of consumer electronic devices have gradually become the core factors for a product's market entry. For more advanced electronic products, a simpler design has become the most important factor for consumers when purchasing, a typical example being home computers. Given that most products on the market have similar functions and operating speeds, computer housing design has gradually become a core factor in product development. The more beautiful the exterior design and the more convenient it is to use, the more likely it is to become the mainstream choice for consumers in the market.

[0003] To improve the appearance of the computer housing, conventional computer housings are designed with a transparent panel on one side, allowing users to directly see the computer components such as the motherboard, graphics card, etc. In addition, various luminous modules such as luminous fans, luminous light bars, luminous air coolers, luminous water coolers, and luminous memory are provided to provide a vivid lighting effect for the entire computer.

[0004] However, although the conventional light emitting module installed in the computer housing can produce vivid lighting effects, it still has the following drawbacks in actual use:

[0005] 1. Lighting cannot be controlled using the touch method.

[0006] The lighting effect switches installed on conventional computer housings are push switches or DIP switches, and conventional computer housings are not equipped with touch sensing technology, so users cannot switch the lighting effect mode of the light-emitting module by touch, nor can they adjust the light-emitting brightness of the light-emitting module by touch and slide.

[0007] 2. Light cannot be guided inside the housing.

[0008] The LEDs installed in commercially available conventional light bars are directly exposed to the outside, and the light emitted from the LEDs is emitted at an angle of 180 degrees from the light-emitting surface. Therefore, the light emitted from the light bar is generally not concentrated inside the computer housing, and therefore the light cannot be concentrated, resulting in relatively weak luminance.

[0009] 3. Separate operation of rear lighting on the housing.

[0010] The back of a computer housing is provided with many ports for connecting computer interface devices such as a monitor, network, keyboard, and mouse, but the back of the computer housing is usually facing a wall or located deep under a table, often resulting in a lack of lighting. Therefore, even if a lighting module is provided on the back of the computer housing, the lighting on the back of the computer housing cannot be brightened without first operating a switch on the front of the housing.

[0011] Therefore, how to equip a computer housing with touch technology that can control the light emitting module, concentrate the light emitted from the light emitting module inside the computer housing, and automatically activate the light emitting module at the rear of the case when a user approaches the rear of the computer housing is a problem that those skilled in the art must solve as soon as possible. In actual implementation, each lighting interface 43 may be connected in series with more second light-emitting modules 62, but is not limited to this.

[0038] Referring to Figure 5, the cross-sectional structure of the second light-emitting module 62 includes a base plate 621, a side plate 622 connected to the base plate 621, an arc-shaped plate 623 connected to the base plate 621, an extension plate 624 connected to the arc-shaped plate 623, a light-emitting member 625 provided on the base plate 621, a light guide 626 provided between the side plate 622, the arc-shaped plate 623 and the extension plate 624, a first light-emitting surface 627 provided on the light guide 626 and connected to the extension plate 624, and a second light-emitting surface 628 provided on the light guide 626 and connected to the side plate 622.

[0039] The arc-shaped plate 623 is curved toward the side plate 622, and the extension plate 624 extends from the upper end of the arc-shaped plate 623 in the opposite direction to the base plate 621, and the combined length of the arc-shaped plate 623 and the extension plate 624 is longer than the combined length of the side plate 622. The combined length of the arc-shaped plate 623 and the extension plate 624 is a first length 23, and the length of the side plate 622 is a second length 24. In the first embodiment, the distance from the upper edge of the arc-shaped plate 623 to the lower edge of the side plate 622 is 7.3 mm, the vertical width of the base plate 621 is 5.7 mm, the vertical width of the base of the light emitting member 625 is 5.0 mm, the first length 23 is 10.0 mm, the second length 24 is 7.0 mm, the left and right length of the extension plate 624 is 1.5 mm, the distance from the upper edge of the arc-shaped plate 623 to the upper edge of the extension plate 624 is 3.3 mm, the width of the first light emitting surface 627 is 3 mm, and the width of the second light emitting surface 628 is 3 mm. In actual implementation, the cross section of the second light emitting module 62 may be designed to have other structures and is not limited thereto.

[0040] In some embodiments, not only is the lower surface of the arc-shaped plate 623 curved toward the side plate 622, but the upper surface of the side plate 622 also first curves toward the arc-shaped plate 623 and then curves again in the opposite direction to the arc-shaped plate 623, so that the upper surface of the side plate 622 has a curved arc shape. Most of the light emitted from the light emitting member 625 is output from the second light emitting surface 628, and a portion of the light is output from the first light emitting surface 627. In the first embodiment, the first light emitting surface 627 and the second light emitting surface 628 have a right-angle structure, but in actual implementation, the first light emitting surface 627 and the second light emitting surface 628 may have various structures such as, but are not limited to, an arc shape, an obtuse angle shape, or an acute angle shape.

[0041] In some embodiments, a light-diffusing portion 629 is provided at the center of the light guide 626 to scatter the light emitted from the light-emitting element 625, and the radian of the upper edge of the light-diffusing portion 629 coincides with the lower surface of the arc-shaped plate 623, the radian of the lower edge of the light-diffusing portion 629 coincides with the upper surface of the side plate 622, and the left edge of the light-diffusing portion 629 is wavy.

[0042] Typically, the second light-emitting module 62 is installed at an inner corner of the case body 31. In the first embodiment, the curved arc-shaped plate 623 can direct the light emitted from the light-emitting member 625 toward the inside of the case body 31, and the outward extending extension plate 624 can reflect the light output toward the outside of the case body 31. Therefore, unlike general light-emitting light bars available on the market, the second light-emitting module 62 can intensively irradiate the output light toward the inside of the case body 31.

[0043] 3 and 6, the control module 42 is a microcontroller (MCU) that can store and execute programs, and the control module 42 is electrically connected to the first touch sensing module 51, the control module 42 is electrically connected to the first light emitting module 61, the control module 42 is electrically connected to the second touch sensing module 52, and the control module 42 is electrically connected to the second light emitting module 62. The power supply interface 44 is connected to the power supply module 21 to electrically connect the control module 42 to the power supply module 21, and the control interface 45 is connected to the computer module 22 to electrically connect the control module 42 to the computer module 22.

[0044] The power module 21 may be a power supply device or a power output port of a motherboard that can provide power for the operation of the touch-emitting case device, and the computer module 22 is a computer component. The control interface 45 is connected to the motherboard of the computer module 22 via a transmission line, and the control module 42 transmits data with the computer module 22 to enable the computer module 22 to configure the control module 42, and the control module 42 can also transmit the operating status of other electronic components to the computer module 22. In some embodiments, the power interface 44 is a two-pole power socket, and the control interface 45 is a 10-pin USB 2.0. [0045] The control module 42 controls the first light emitting module 61 and the plurality of second light emitting modules 62 to cause the first light emitting module 61 and the plurality of second light emitting modules 62 to output various lighting effects to the outside, and the control module 42 analyzes the first touch sensing module 51 and the second touch sensing module 52 to change the light emission intensity and light emission mode of the first light emitting module 61 and the plurality of second light emitting modules 62. In actual implementation, the first touch sensing module 51 and the second touch sensing module 52 may be configured to control other computer components, but is not limited thereto.

[0046] 7 and 8, which show a second embodiment of the touch-activated luminous case device according to the present invention, the second embodiment is almost the same as the first embodiment, so the same points will not be described in detail here. The difference is that the touch-activated luminous case device further includes a proximity unit 7, which includes a proximity sensing module 71 electrically connected to the control module 42.

[0047] The case unit 3 further includes a rear panel 33 provided on the case body 31, one of the plurality of second light emitting modules 62 is provided on the rear panel 33, and the approach detection module 71 is provided on the rear panel 33. Referring to FIG. 9 as well, in some embodiments, a protective housing 35 is further provided on the outside of the approach detection module 71, and the protective housing 35 covers the approach detection module 71, and the approach detection module 71 senses the outside through the protective housing 35 to detect whether a user is approaching. In actual implementation, the protective housing 35 may not be provided on the rear panel 33, and is not limited thereto.

[0048] Typically, a wiring area 34 is provided on the rear panel 33 of the case body 31. The wiring area 34 includes a plurality of ports (e.g., an HDMI port, a DisplayPort port, a USB port, a network cable port, a Wi-Fi antenna port, etc.) that allow the computer module 22 to connect to a plurality of computer interface devices. In some embodiments, the USB port may have the same structure but different specifications, such as USB 2.0 and USB 3.0. In some embodiments, the wiring area 34 may also include a BIOS restart switch and a memory erase switch (Clear CMOS). Since it would be difficult for a user to identify the types of connection ports or switches without illumination in the wiring area 34, a second light-emitting module 62 provided on the rear panel 33 illuminates the wiring area 34, making it easier for a user to install connection cables or operate switches.

[0049] The approach detection module 71 is connected to the second light emitting module 62. In the second embodiment, the approach detection module 71 is a detection plate connected to the second light emitting module 62. The approach detection module 71 may be manufactured using a flexible printed circuit (FPC), which is also called a soft board, flexible circuit board, flexible substrate, or soft board, and detects the trigger of an approach or touch operation. In actual implementation, the approach detection module 71 may use other sensors capable of detecting the approach of an object or person, such as an infrared sensor, but is not limited thereto.

[0050] The approach detection module 71 transmits a detection signal to the control module 42. When a user approaches or touches the protective housing 35 of the case body 31, the control module 42 analyzes the user's approach or touch and controls the second light-emitting module 62 connected to the approach detection module 71 to emit light. That is, by controlling the second light-emitting module 62 provided on the rear panel 33 to emit light, an automatic lighting function can be provided for the wiring area 34. In the second embodiment, the second light-emitting module 62 illuminates above the wiring area 34, but in actual implementation, the second light-emitting module 62 may illuminate at another position in the wiring area 34, and is not limited thereto.

[0051] In some embodiments, the proximity sensing module 71 can detect the user's touching action when the user touches the protective housing 35. In some embodiments, the proximity sensing module 71 can detect the user's approaching action without direct contact if the proximity distance between the user and the proximity sensing module 71 or the protective housing 35 is approximately 20 mm or less. In some embodiments, the second light-emitting module 62 provided on the rear panel 33 is provided with three LED spotlights, and when the proximity sensing module 71 detects a touching action or an approaching action, the LED spotlights of the second light-emitting module 62 light up.

[0052] As can be seen from the above description, the case device with touch illumination of the present invention has the following obvious advantages:

[0053] 1. Providing touch-based lighting control.

[0054] The first touch-sensing strip 511 and the second touch-sensing strip 521 are exposed to the outside from the front panel 32 of the case body 31, and the first touch-sensing module 51 controls the light intensity of the first light-emitting module 61 and the second light-emitting module 62, and the second touch-sensing module 52 controls the light-emitting mode of the first light-emitting module 61 and the second light-emitting module 62, thereby allowing the user to control the lighting effect by touch.

[0055] 2.Light can be guided inside the housing.

[0056] The lower surface of the arc-shaped plate 623 is curved toward the side plate 622, and the upper surface of the side plate 622 has a curved arc shape, and the curved arc-shaped plate 623 can direct the light emitted from the light emitting member 625 toward the inside of the case body 31, and the outwardly extending extension plate 624 can reflect the light output toward the outside of the case body 31. Therefore, unlike general light emitting light bars available on the market, the second light emitting module 62 of the present invention can intensively guide the output light into the inside of the case body 31.

[0057] 3. Automatic activation of the housing backlight.

[0058] When a user approaches or touches the rear side of the case body 31, the approach detection module 71 provided on the rear panel 33 detects the user's approach, i.e., touch, and the control module 42 controls the second light-emitting module 62 connected to the approach detection module 71 to emit light. That is, by controlling the second light-emitting module 62 provided on the rear panel 33 to emit light, the present invention can automatically activate the lighting on the rear side of the case and provide an automatic lighting function for the wiring area 34.

[0059] In short, the touch unit 5 provides the case body 31 with a function of detecting a user's touch action, and thereby sets the light intensity and lighting effect mode of the lighting unit. The approach unit 7 can detect the user's action of approaching the case body 31, and since the approach unit 7 is installed at the rear of the case body 31, when the user approaches or touches the rear of the case body 31, the second light-emitting module 62 installed at the rear of the case body 31 can be automatically activated, thereby reliably achieving the object of the present invention.

[0060] The above content is merely two examples of the present invention, and the scope of the present invention is not limited thereto. In other words, simple equivalent changes and modifications made within the scope of the patent application and the content of the present invention still fall within the scope of protection of the present invention.
