Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a fishing reel, a fishing reel, and a winch that are capable of detecting tension with high accuracy even when the fishing reel is stopped. [Background technology]
[0002] In a fishing reel or other line winding device, the tension of the line can be detected to detect the presence or absence of line fraying and prevent line tangling, or to detect the presence or absence of a fish bite, allowing for efficient fishing. Various methods have been proposed for detecting the tension of the line.
[0003] For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a cylindrical rod body constituting a fishing rod used for fishing, the rod body comprising: a cylindrical main body portion formed by baking a prepreg material in which carbon fiber is impregnated with synthetic resin; a piezoelectric element band extending in the axial direction and arranged on the circumferential surface of the main body portion; a bottom plug that is detachably attached to the rod-butt end of the main body portion; and a boosting means for boosting the input voltage from the piezoelectric element band arranged on the bottom plug, the circumferential surface of the main body portion having, in order from the circumferential surface of the main body portion, a first electrode layer, an insulating layer, a light-emitting layer, a second electrode layer, and a surface layer laminated thereon; and the voltage from the boosting means applies pressure between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer.
[0004] Patent Document 2 discloses a fishing sensor that includes a detection unit that detects vibrations applied to a fishing line when a fish bites, and a means for converting the signal into an electrical signal, which is then input into a signal processing circuit, and converting the analog changes in the processed signal into different types of sound or light.
[0005] Furthermore, Patent Document 3 discloses a fishing reel that includes a rotating body that winds up the fishing line, a support that allows displacement of the rotating body corresponding to the tension acting on the fishing line from the rotating body, a sensor that measures the tension acting on the fishing line based on the displacement of the rotating body, and an alarm device that outputs the measurement results from the sensor, with the alarm device and sensors all housed in a single waterproof case. [0006] [Patent Document 1] JP 2004-008005 A [Patent Document 2] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 64-037238 [Patent Document 3] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 5-184271 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0007] However, in the fishing rod body described in Patent Document 1, the fishing rod body is the detection object and deflection and vibration of the fishing rod body are detected, but there was a problem in that detection was only possible when the fishing rod body was in a specific position, and detection was not possible when the fishing rod body and the fishing line were in a straight state.
[0008] In addition, the fishing sensor in Patent Document 2 detects a fishing line by bending the fishing line using a guide such as a pulley, and detects the force that the tension exerts on the outside at the bending point. However, since it is necessary to bend the line path in order to detect the tension, this can create resistance when the fishing line needs to be let out at high speed, such as when casting, and there is also the problem that it is difficult to make the entire tackle small.
[0009] Furthermore, in the fishing reel disclosed in Patent Document 3, the rotating body can be displaced by external forces other than tension, and so there is a problem in that it is practically difficult to accurately detect tension from the displacement of the rotating body.
[0010] The present invention has been made in consideration of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a thread winding device having a tension detection unit that can be incorporated into a reel and made compact, and that can measure tension with high accuracy even when the reel is stopped without the need to bend the thread path. Other objects of the present invention will become apparent by reading the entire specification. [Means for solving the problem]

[Figure 4] 1 is a cross-sectional view taken along a plane passing through the central axis of the structure of a thread winding device 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0020] Hereinafter, an embodiment of a thread winding device according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. Components common to multiple drawings are given the same reference numerals throughout the multiple drawings. Please note that the drawings are not necessarily drawn to scale for the sake of convenience.
[0021] First, the configuration of a thread winding device 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Fig. 1. For simplicity, the following description will only cover the tension detection mechanism, and descriptions of parts similar to those of conventional thread winding devices will be omitted. First, Fig. 1 shows a cross-sectional view of the thread winding device 100 taken along a cross section passing through the central axis of the configuration.
[0022] As shown in Fig. 1, a line winding device 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention is comprised of a spool 1, a support shaft portion (support shaft) 2, a rotor 4 having a line guide (guiding portion) 3, an operating portion 5 (e.g., a handle) for operating the rotor 4, a restoring portion (restoring means) 6, a detected portion (detected means) 7, and a detecting portion (detecting means) 8. The spool 1 is formed in a cylindrical shape and configured so that the fishing line can be wound around its outer periphery. In the following description, the direction of the central axis of the spool 1 is defined as the axial direction, and its rotational direction as the rotational direction.
[0023] The support shaft portion 2 is formed in a generally cylindrical shape, and in one embodiment of the present invention, the support shaft portion 2 and the spool 1 are fixed coaxially. The support shaft portion 2 is supported rotatably with respect to the reel body.
[0024] The line guide 3 is a known device capable of guiding a fishing line, and is supported on the rotor 4 via a conventionally known bail arm (not shown). By opening and closing the bail arm, a switching means (bail) can be used to switch whether the line guide 3 can guide the fishing line or not. In the open state, the fishing line wound on the spool 1 can be released, and in the closed state, the fishing line can be wound onto the spool 1.
[0025] The rotor 4 is supported rotatably on the reel body by a rotating shaft coaxial with the spool 1. The handle 5 can rotate the rotor 4 in response to a user's operation, and constitutes an operating means in one embodiment of the present invention. If necessary, a transmission mechanism such as a gear may be used to change the rotation direction or gear ratio. A ratchet or a one-way clutch may be used to prevent the rotor 4 from rotating in reverse, thereby preventing the fishing line from being released unexpectedly. As an operating means, a power source such as a motor or an engine may be used in addition to the handle. Since a conventionally known operating means can be used in one embodiment of the present invention, further detailed description is omitted.
[0026] The restoring portion (restoring means) 6 is a means for generating a restoring force when the support shaft portion 2 moves in the rotational direction, and in one embodiment of the present invention, can be formed of a spring member (for example, a torsion spring). Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along a plane perpendicular to the support shaft, for explaining the detailed structure.
[0027] One end of the restoring portion 6 is in contact with the movable spring end 12, and the other end is in contact with the fixed spring end 13. The movable spring end 12 moves in synchronization with the support shaft portion 2 in the rotation direction due to a rotation stop shape such as a D-cut shape. The movable spring end 12 is restricted in its movable range to a predetermined angle range (for example, 0° to 60°) by a rotation restricting portion 11 provided on the reel body. Hereinafter, this angle is referred to as θ. When a torsion spring is used as the restoring portion 6, the central axis of the coil portion of the spring is coaxial with the support shaft portion 2, so that the rotational movement amount θ of the support shaft portion 2 and the torque acting on the support shaft portion 2 can be in a proportional relationship. Furthermore, by using a torsion spring, it is possible to generate a predetermined restoring force in a small size and at low cost. The restoring portion 6 is not limited to a torsion spring, but may be a compression coil spring, a tension coil spring, a spiral spring, a leaf spring, or another elastic spring that uses the elastic force of an object as a restoring force, or a magnetic spring that uses magnetic force as a restoring force.
[0028] Furthermore, the fixed side spring end 13 is provided on the reel body. This allows the restoring portion 6 to generate a restoring force between the support shaft portion and the reel body. In one embodiment of the present invention, the angle is configured so that when the torque acting on the spool is 10 gcm or less, θ=0°, and when it is 100 gcm or more, θ=60°, and a linear change in angle occurs between these values as the torque increases.
[0029] The detected part (detected means) 7 moves in synchronization with the support shaft part in the rotation direction due to a rotation stop shape such as a D-cut shape. It may be configured integrally with the movable spring end. The detected part 7 can detect the displacement in the rotation direction by the detection part 8. In one embodiment of the present invention, a reflector with a different reflectance for each predetermined angle is used as the detected part 7, and a reflective photosensor is used as the detection part 8. A conventionally known angle sensor can be used to realize the detection part 8, and the same effect can be achieved by a method of measuring electrical resistance or a combination of a magnet and a magnetic sensor. It is to be noted that by using a contact-type detection means such as a magnetic sensor, a photo sensor, or an ultrasonic sensor, it is possible to suppress the generation of frictional force in the detection part, and improve the accuracy of the torque measurement.
[0030] The fishing line winding device 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention is a fishing line winding device that can be fixed to a fishing rod, and includes a spool that can wind up the fishing line around a central axis that is approximately parallel to the extension direction of the fishing rod, a rotor that has a guide section that guides the fishing line and can rotate around the spool, an operation section that rotates the guide section, and a switching section that switches between guiding and not guiding by the guide section. The fishing line winding device is configured to include a support shaft section that is arranged on the central axis of the spool and rotatably supported on the device body, a restoring section that applies a restoring force between the support shaft section and the device body, and a detection section that detects the angular position of the support shaft. Here, the device body refers to a structural member of the fishing line winding device (a part that can be fixed to a fishing rod). Note that the fishing line winding device is not limited to one for fishing, and may be a winch for lifting if it has a similar structure. In the fishing line winding device according to one embodiment of the present invention, the support shaft section is configured to have its rotatable range restricted by a rotation restricting section.
[0031] The thread winding device 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention makes it possible to provide a thread winding device having a tension detection unit that can be incorporated into a reel and made compact, and that can measure tension with high accuracy even when the reel is stopped without the need to bend the thread path. Furthermore, the thread winding device 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention makes it possible to arrange the detection unit 8 on the reel body. If the detection unit 8 is arranged near the spool, the detection unit 8 is arranged inside the rotor 4, which rotates infinitely relative to the reel body. This poses the problem that it is difficult to supply power to and communicate with the detection unit 8. On the other hand, by arranging the detection unit 8 on the reel body as in one embodiment of the present invention, wiring to the detection unit 8 becomes easy, and power supply and communication with a microcomputer become possible.
[0032] In the thread winding device 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention, the restoring force generating section (restoring section) 4 is a torsion spring.
[0033] In the thread winding device 100 of one embodiment of the present invention, the detection unit 7 is a non-contact position detection means, and is composed of an light-emitting unit that projects light onto the detected part 6, and a light-receiving unit that receives the light from the light-emitting unit.
[0034] In a thread winding device 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention, a permanent magnet is provided in the detected part 6, and the detection part 7 is a non-contact position detection means and a magnetic detection part that detects the magnetism of the permanent magnet provided in the detected part 6.
[0035] In a thread winding device 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention, the detectable part 6 is provided with an acoustic wave reflecting part, and the detection part 7 is a non-contact position detection means and an acoustic wave detection part that detects acoustic waves from the acoustic wave reflecting part provided in the detectable part 6.
[0036] The line winding device according to one embodiment of the present invention is a fishing reel. Also, the line winding device according to one embodiment of the present invention is a winch.
[0037] Next, a method for detecting the tension acting on the thread using the thread winding device 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described. As described above, in the thread winding device 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention, when torque acts on the spool 1, the spool 1 moves in the rotational direction relative to the support shaft 2 according to the magnitude of the torque. In one embodiment of the present invention, the restoring section (restoring means) 6 is configured to have a characteristic where θ=0° when the magnitude of the torque is 10 gcm or less, θ=60° when the magnitude of the torque is 100 gcm or more, and the amount of movement θ changes in proportion to the amount of change in torque between these values.
[0038] This amount of movement θ is detected by detector 8, and by observing the output of detector 8, it is possible to calculate the torque acting on spool 1. The torque acting on spool 1 is calculated by multiplying the tension T acting on the line by the winding radius R of the fishing line. Although the winding radius R of the fishing line can change depending on the amount of rotation of spool 1, it is possible to calculate the tension T acting on the fishing line by obtaining the winding radius R of the line by another means.
[0039] Conventionally known methods can be used to obtain the winding radius R of the fishing line. For example, there is a method of measuring the distance from the line winding device body to the fishing line wound around the outer periphery of the spool using an ultrasonic distance meter, a method of inputting the line winding radius Rmax and the thickness ΔD of the fishing line in the initial state in advance and constantly measuring the amount of rotation of the spool 1 from the initial state to calculate the line winding radius R, and a method of using a spool with a shallow groove shape so that changes in the line winding radius can be ignored, but it is not intended to be limited to a specific method.
[0040] Furthermore, the detected tension can be used to communicate information about the torque acting on the spool 1 and the tension acting on the fishing line obtained by the above-mentioned method to a display device such as an LCD or a sound information generating device such as a speaker, allowing the user to determine whether there is a fish bite or line fray, and to grasp the state of the line winding device.
[0041] As a method for recording the history, tension information may be sent to a microcomputer and the history may be stored in an external device such as a memory or a smartphone. This makes it possible to grasp short-period changes and long-period changes that are difficult to visually recognize. Furthermore, the tension information may be used as a control target when feedback-controlling an external device such as a motor of an operating means or a drag device. This makes it possible to realize various types of control, such as winding at a constant tension.
[0042] In the thread winding device of one embodiment of the present invention, the detection unit 8 can be placed on the reel body, which makes it easy to supply power to the detection unit 8. Also, if a board having a microcomputer or the like is placed on the reel body, there is the advantage that the detected information can be transmitted via wire.
[0043] Next, according to the thread winding device of one embodiment of the present invention, the tension acting on the thread can be measured without bending the thread path, as compared to a method of bending the thread. This eliminates the need for a mechanism for bending the thread path, and prevents the device from becoming larger overall. In addition, since there are no unnecessary bending points in the thread path, it is possible to avoid obstacles when the thread is pulled out at high speed, such as during casting.
[0044] Furthermore, according to the thread winding device of one embodiment of the present invention, compared to a method of detecting the strain and displacement of the reel component, the linear member is configured to move in the axial direction according to the torque applied to the spool, and the torque can be obtained by detecting the amount of axial movement. In order to apply tension to the spool, it is often difficult to achieve this by any method other than increasing the thread tension due to the structure of the thread winding device, and even when an external force is applied to the thread winding device body, no torque is applied to the spool. For this reason, compared to a method of detecting the strain of the main body frame that supports the spool, it is possible to achieve torque and tension measurements that are stable against external disturbances.
[0045] Next, a fishing line winding device 200 according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Fig. 3. Note that the same parts and members as those in the above embodiment are denoted by the same reference numbers and description thereof will be omitted.
[0046] As shown in FIG. 3, a fishing line winding device 200 according to one embodiment of the present invention is composed of a spool 1, a support shaft portion (support shaft) 2, a rotor 4 having a line guide 3, a handle 5 for operating the rotor 4, a restoring portion (restoring means) 6, a detectable portion (detectable means) 7, a detecting portion (detecting means) 8, a level wind device 21, and a front drag device 24 composed of a spool side drag member 22 and a body side drag member 23.
[0047] The level wind device 21 evenly winds the fishing line around the spool 1 by reciprocating the support shaft portion (support shaft) 2 in the axial direction in response to the rotation of the rotor 4. This can be achieved by a conventionally known method, such as rotating a worm gear with the operation portion (operation means) 4, so a detailed description will be omitted.
[0048] The front drag device 23 is a conventionally known drag device that can cause the spool 1 to spin freely when a torque equal to or greater than a predetermined value is applied to the spool 1. It is composed of a spool-side drag member 22 that rotates integrally with the spool 1, and a main body-side drag member 23 that rotates integrally with the support shaft 2. In one embodiment of the present invention, friction torque is generated between the spool-side drag member 22 and the main body-side drag member 23. It is composed of a drag spring that generates the friction force, and a drag screw that adjusts the charge amount of the drag spring. Note that the drag device in one embodiment of the present invention is not limited to this friction method, and may use other conventionally known means, such as a method using a magnetorheological fluid and a magnetic force generating means to generate a drag force, and is not limited to a specific embodiment.
[0049] In one embodiment of the present invention, even when the front drag device 23 is used, torque information and tension information generated on the spool 1 can be detected in the same manner as in the above embodiment. That is, the support shaft portion 2 is supported by the rotation restricting portion 11 so as to be rotatable within a predetermined angle range relative to the reel body. When the torque acting on the spool 1 is equal to or less than the set value of the drag device, the spool side drag member 22 and the body side drag member 23 operate together, resulting in a relationship similar to that of the above embodiment. When the torque acting on the spool 1 is equal to or more than the set value of the drag device, the spool 1 starts to spin freely, but a torque equal to the set value of the drag device acts on the body side drag member 23. This torque is also transmitted to the restoring portion 6, and the support shaft 2 rotates θ° according to the value. This value can be detected by the rotation detection portion 8.
[0050] Furthermore, in one embodiment of the present invention, even when the level wind device 21 is included, torque information and tension information generated in the spool 1 can be detected in the same manner as in the above embodiment. In this case, the level wind device 21 moves the support shaft portion 2 in the vertical direction. Therefore, it is preferable that the detection unit 8 is designed to detect only the movement of the support shaft portion 2 in the rotational direction. For example, measures such as making the detected portion 7 longer than the amount of vertical movement caused by the level wind device 21, or transmitting only the movement of the support shaft 2 in the rotational direction to the detected portion 7 and allowing it to slide in the axial direction may be useful.
[0051] In one embodiment of the present invention, the drag device is disposed inside the spool, and the detection unit 8 is disposed at the rear of the device body. This allows each function to be disposed independently. In order to increase the torque capacity that the drag can transmit, it is necessary to increase the number and outer diameter of the drag members that generate friction torque, and a certain volume is required. By disposing the drag device inside the spool as in one embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to efficiently dispose a drag device having a certain torque capacity in terms of space. In addition, by disposing the detection unit 8 in the reel body, it is possible to avoid being affected by the size of the drag device, and therefore it is possible to minimize the size of the entire device.
[0052] Next, a fishing line winding device 300 according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Fig. 4. Note that the same parts and members as those in the above embodiment are denoted by the same reference numbers and description thereof will be omitted.
[0053] As shown in FIG. 4, a fishing line winding device 300 according to one embodiment of the present invention is composed of a spool 1, a support shaft portion (support shaft) 2, a rotor 4 having a line guide 3, an operating portion 5 (e.g., a handle) for operating the rotor 4, a restoring portion (restoring means) 36, a detectable portion (detectable means) 37, a detecting portion (detecting means) 38, a level wind device 21, and a rear drag device 34 composed of a spool side drag member 32 and a body side drag member 33.
[0054] As in the first embodiment, the support shaft 2 in one embodiment of the present invention rotates in synchronization with the spool 1. When excessive torque is applied to the spool 1, the rear drag device 34 provided between the reel body and the support shaft portion causes the spool 1 and the support shaft portion 2 to spin freely.
[0055] The rear drag device 34 is composed of a spool-side drag member 32 that rotates integrally with the spool 1 and support shaft 2, and a body-side drag member 33 that rotates substantially integrally with the reel body. As in the above-described embodiment, a predetermined drag force can be set between the spool-side drag member 32 and the body-side drag member 33 by conventionally known means, and relative rotation occurs when a torque equal to or greater than a predetermined value is reached.
[0056] In one embodiment of the present invention, the spool-side drag member 32 is configured to receive only rotational motion from the support shaft and not axial motion so as not to be reciprocated by the level wind device 21. The body-side drag member 33 is rotatably supported relative to the reel body. A rotation restriction unit provided on the reel body allows the body-side drag mechanism to rotate within a set angle range (e.g., θ=0° to 60°). A restoring unit (restoring means) 36 applies a restoring force in the rotational direction. A detection target unit 37 is provided on the body-side drag mechanism 33, and allows a detection unit 8 to detect the amount of angular movement θ of the body-side drag member 33 relative to the reel body.
[0057] The above configuration can achieve the same effect as the above embodiment. That is, when the torque acting on the spool 1 is equal to or less than the set value of the drag device, the spool 1 and the main body side drag member 33 rotate together, and the mechanism is the same as that of the first embodiment, making it possible to detect. When the torque acting on the spool 1 is equal to or more than the set value of the drag device, the spool 1, the support shaft portion 2, and the spool side drag member 32 rotate together relative to the main body side drag member 33. At this time, the torque equivalent to the set torque of the drag device is transmitted to the main body side drag member 33, and it moves to a balanced position with the restoring portion (restoring means). By detecting this balanced position with the detector 8, the torque and tension acting on the spool 1 can be detected.
[0058] The dimensions, materials, and arrangement of each component described in this specification are not limited to those explicitly described in the embodiments, and each component can be modified to have any dimensions, materials, and arrangement that can be included in the scope of the present invention. In addition, components not explicitly described in this specification can be added to the described embodiments, and some of the components described in each embodiment can be omitted.
