Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a mounting structure for interior components of a railway vehicle having a vehicle body structure and an interior space formed inside the vehicle body structure, the interior components forming the inner surface of the interior space and being arranged adjacent to the interior space. [Background technology]

[0002] In railroad cars such as commuter trains and express trains, interior spaces such as passenger compartments and crew compartments are formed inside the vehicle structure. The inner surfaces of the interior spaces (ceiling, floor, and wall surfaces) are formed by interior materials. Examples of interior materials include floor coverings (such as PVC sheets, rubber sheets, and carpets) that form the floor surfaces, and interior panels that are arranged approximately perpendicular to the floor coverings and form the wall surfaces.

[0003] In addition, at the boundary between the floor and the wall, i.e., the boundary where the floor covering and the interior panel are adjacent, it is common to provide a gap because it is difficult to make the floor covering and the interior panel adhere closely due to manufacturing errors. In order to cover up this gap, a baseboard is attached to the boundary between the floor covering and the interior panel from the vehicle interior side.

[0004] Patent Document 1 discloses a wall panel 2A (corresponding to the above-mentioned interior panel) that is screwed to a frame member 125 of a body structure 101 (corresponding to the above-mentioned vehicle body structure). [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0005] [Patent Document 1] JP 2018-30382 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0006] The above-mentioned interior panels and baseboards have through holes that penetrate from the front surface to the back surface, and are generally attached by inserting a screw into the through hole and fastening the inserted screw to the vehicle body structure. When screwing the interior panels and baseboards to the vehicle body structure, if screw holes are drilled in the vehicle body structure in advance, there is a risk that the positions of the through holes in the interior panels and baseboards and the screw holes in the vehicle body structure will not match in the vertical direction or width direction of the wall surface due to manufacturing errors. For this reason, when attaching the interior panels and baseboards, it is generally practiced to adjust the attachment position for each interior panel or baseboard to be attached, determine the attachment position, and then drill a screw hole at a location on the vehicle body structure that corresponds to the attachment position.

[0007] However, when drilling holes, cutting chips are generated and scattered. This results in a time-consuming task of removing the cutting chips, which reduces the manufacturing efficiency of railcars. In addition, it is difficult to completely remove the scattered cutting chips, and the cutting chips may cause damage to equipment and wiring, and may cause injury to passengers if they remain inside the car.

[0008] The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and has an object to provide a mounting structure for interior members of a railway vehicle, which enables the interior members to be mounted to the vehicle body structure without requiring drilling work, which is a cause of chipping. [Means for solving the problem]

[0009] In order to solve the above problems, the mounting structure for an interior member of a railway vehicle according to the present invention has the following configuration. (1) In a mounting structure for an interior member of a railway vehicle, the mounting structure for mounting the first interior member to the vehicle body structure of a railway vehicle including a vehicle interior space formed inside the vehicle body structure, and a first interior member and a second interior member that form an inner surface of the vehicle interior space and are arranged adjacent to each other, the vehicle body structure includes an inner frame member for supporting at least the first interior member from a back surface side of the first interior member opposite to a surface of the first interior member that faces the vehicle interior space, at a boundary between the first interior member and the second interior member, the inner frame member includes a connecting portion that connects to the first interior member on the back surface side, the first interior member includes a fixing member at an end of the back surface on the side of the second interior member, and the fixing member is A plurality of screws are inserted into the interior member from the front surface side, The fixing member is capable of moving toward and away from the rear surface, and is capable of moving between a first position where, by moving away from the rear surface, a gap is created between the fixing member and the rear surface into which the joining portion can be inserted in a direction parallel to the front surface, and a second position where, by moving closer to the rear surface than the first position, the fixing member and the rear surface clamp the joining portion inserted into the gap and perform the joining.

[0010] According to the mounting structure for interior members of a railway vehicle described in (1), a first interior member (e.g., an interior panel forming a wall surface among the inner surfaces of the interior space) is connected to an inner frame member located at the boundary with a second interior member (e.g., a floor covering forming the floor surface among the inner surfaces of the interior space), whereby the first interior member is supported from the back side and is mounted to the vehicle structure adjacent to the second interior member.

[0011] Here, the first interior member is provided with a fixing member that can approach and separate from the back surface of the first interior member (hereinafter simply referred to as the back surface) at the end portion on the side of the second interior member. When the fixing member is positioned at the first position away from the back surface, a gap is generated between the fixing member and the back surface into which the joint portion of the inner rib member can be inserted from the side of the second interior member. In other words, when the fixing member is positioned at the first position, it is possible to adjust the attachment position of the first interior member in a direction parallel to the direction in which the joint portion of the inner rib member is inserted (for example, in the vertical direction or width direction of the wall surface if the first interior member is the interior panel and the second interior panel is the floor covering). Then, when the fixing member is positioned at the second position close to the back surface, the fixing member and the back surface sandwich the joint portion inserted into the gap, so that the first interior member and the inner rib member are joined. In other words, if the attachment position is adjusted with the fixing member positioned at the first position, and the attachment position is determined, the fixing member is positioned at the second position, and then the first interior member and the inner frame member are joined at the determined attachment position (that is, the first interior member is attached to the vehicle body structure). In this way, the attachment position of the first interior member can be adjusted and the first interior member can be attached to the vehicle body structure by the approaching and separating motion of the fixing member, so that the first interior member can be attached to the vehicle body structure without the need for drilling work, which is the cause of chipping. Therefore, it is possible to prevent a decrease in the manufacturing efficiency of railway cars due to the chipping removal work. In addition, there is no risk of the residual chipping causing damage to equipment or wiring, or leading to injury to passengers.

[0012] (2) In the mounting structure for interior members of a railway vehicle described in (1), a decorative member is provided for covering and concealing a boundary portion between the first interior member and the second interior member from the interior space side, the fixing member is provided with a floating member having a predetermined amount of free movement in a direction parallel to the surface, the first interior member is connected to the inner frame member, and the first interior member, the connecting portion, the fixing member, and the floating member are positioned in this order from the interior space side, the first interior member, the connecting portion, and the fixing member are each provided with a through hole of a size corresponding to the amount of free movement at a position corresponding to the floating member, and the decorative member is fixed by a fastener that is inserted into the through hole from the interior space side and connected to the floating member.

[0013] According to the mounting structure for interior members of a railway vehicle described in (2), a decorative member (e.g., a baseboard) is provided for covering and concealing the boundary portion between the first interior member and the second interior member from the vehicle interior space side. The decorative member is fixed by fasteners inserted into through holes provided in the first interior member, the joint portion, and the fixing member, which are respectively connected to the floating member. The floating member has a predetermined amount of free movement in a direction parallel to the surface of the first interior member, and the through hole has a size corresponding to the amount of free movement of the floating member. Therefore, it is possible to adjust the mounting position of the baseboard within the range of the amount of free movement. In this way, it is possible to adjust the mounting position of the baseboard and mount it without requiring a drilling operation, which is a cause of chips, and therefore it is possible to prevent a decrease in manufacturing efficiency of the railway vehicle due to the chip removal operation. In addition, there is no risk of the residual chips causing damage to the equipment or wiring, or leading to injury to passengers. The predetermined amount of free movement of the floating member is determined within a range in which the decorative member can cover and conceal the boundary portion. Effect of the Invention

[0014] According to the structure for mounting an interior member of a railway vehicle of the present invention, it is possible to mount the interior member to the vehicle body structure without requiring drilling work, which is a cause of chipping. [Brief description of the drawings]

[Figure 10] 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along CC in FIG. 2. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0016] An embodiment of the mounting structure for interior members of a railway vehicle according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 is a side view of a railway vehicle 1 using the mounting structure for interior members of a railway vehicle according to this embodiment. Note that Fig. 1 is a partial cross-sectional view showing the inside of a passenger compartment 12. Also, a bogie on the side of the end body structure 115 and a part of the vehicle body structure 11 are omitted.

[0017] The railway vehicle 1 is, for example, a commuter vehicle capable of running on a track (not shown), and as shown in Fig. 1, is composed of a vehicle structure 11 and a bogie 22 that supports the vehicle structure 11 via bolster springs 24. Note that the railway vehicle is not limited to a commuter vehicle, and may be an express vehicle or the like.

[0018] The vehicle body structure 11 is configured to form a hexahedron with an underframe 111 forming a floor portion, a leading structure 114 forming the leading portion of the vehicle body structure 11 by erecting at one end of the underframe 111 in the track direction, a tandem structure 115 forming the coupling portion of the vehicle body structure 11 by erecting at the other end of the underframe 111, side structures 112 forming the side surfaces of the vehicle body structure 11 by erecting at both ends of the underframe 111 in the sleeper direction, and a roof structure 113 forming the roof of the vehicle body structure 11 by being disposed at the upper ends of the leading structure 114, the tandem structure 115 and the side structures 112. The inside of the vehicle body structure 11 is a passenger compartment 12 (an example of an internal space). The vehicle body structure 11 is provided with a passenger boarding / alighting door 26 and a window 28 leading to the passenger compartment 12, and a driver's entrance / exit 27 leading to the driver's compartment.

[0019] The inner surface of the passenger compartment 12 is composed of a floor surface 121, side wall surfaces 122 positioned approximately perpendicular to the floor surface 121 at both ends of the floor surface 121 in the sleeper direction, end wall surfaces (not shown) positioned approximately perpendicular to the floor surface 121 at both ends of the floor surface 121 in the track direction, a ceiling 123, and a side ceiling 124 connecting the side wall surfaces 122 and the ceiling.

[0020] Next, Fig. 2 is a partially enlarged view of part X in Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line AA in Fig. 2. Fig. 4 is a cross-sectional view taken along line BB in Fig. 2. Note that Figs. 3 and 4 only show one end of both ends of the railway vehicle 1 in the sleeper direction, but the other end has the same configuration.

[0021] The inner surface of the passenger compartment 12 is formed by interior materials. For example, as shown in Figs. 2 to 4, the floor surface 121 is formed by a floor covering 13 (an example of a second interior material). For example, as shown in Fig. 1, the side wall surface 122 is formed by interior panels (an example of a first interior material: for example, interior panels 14A and 14B) arranged adjacent to each other in the track direction. Since the long sheet 29 is attached to the side wall surface 122, the portion of the interior panels 14A and 14B where the long sheet 29 is attached is hidden and cannot be seen in Fig. 1. Therefore, the interior panel 14A has a surface 141 (see Fig. 3) that is continuous between the lower side of the long sheet 29 and the upper side of the long sheet 29, even at the portion where the long sheet 29 is attached. Similarly, the interior panel 14B has a surface 141 that is continuous between the floor surface 121 and the window 28.

[0022] The floor covering 13 is, for example, a long sheet member made of polyvinyl chloride. The material of the floor covering 13 is not limited to polyvinyl chloride, and may be a flame-retardant or non-combustible rubber sheet or carpet. As shown in Figs. 3 and 4, the floor covering 13 is laid on a floor panel 15 or a floor covering material (not shown) supported by a floor support (not shown) on an end surface 111a on the side (upper side in Figs. 3 and 4) of the ceiling 123 (see Fig. 1) of the underframe 111, and is fixed to the floor panel 15 by an adhesive. An end 131 of the floor covering 13 near the side wall surface 122 is bent at a substantially right angle to the floor surface 121 along the side wall surface 122.

[0023] On the outer side of the floor covering 13 in the sleeper direction, an inner frame member 19 is erected on an end face 111a of the underframe 111. The inner frame member 19 is made of metal such as iron. When iron is used for the inner frame member 19, the surface of the inner frame member 19 may be coated with an anti-rust paint to prevent rust from occurring.

[0024] The inner frame member 19 is formed into a substantially L-shaped cross section by bending a flat material. Specifically, the substantially L-shaped cross section is formed by a fixing piece 191 that is connected to the underframe 111 and a support piece 192 that supports the interior panel 14. The fixing piece 191 of the inner frame member 19 is fixed to the end face 111a of the underframe 111 so that the support piece 192 is positioned substantially perpendicular to the end face 111a of the underframe 111. This fixing is performed by welding. The tip of the support piece 192 on the ceiling 123 (see FIG. 1) side (upper side in FIGS. 3 and 4) is a connecting portion 193 that is connected to the interior panel 14. This connecting portion 193 is connected to the back surface 142 of the interior panel 14, which is opposite to the front surface 141 that faces the passenger compartment 12, so that the inner frame member 19 supports the interior panel 14 from the back surface 142 side.

[0025] Next, the interior panels 14A and 14B will be described. In the following description, the interior panels 14A and 14B will all be referred to as the interior panels 14, except when individual items are described.

[0026] The interior panel 14 is disposed perpendicular to the floor surface 121. The material is, for example, an aluminum alloy, and is formed in a rectangular flat plate shape. The height dimension (the vertical dimension in FIG. 3) of the interior panel 14 is appropriately changed depending on which part of the side wall surface 122 it constitutes. For example, as shown in FIG. 1, if the interior panel 14A constitutes the side wall surface 122 beside the passenger boarding / alighting door 26, the height dimension corresponds to the height from the floor surface 121 to the side ceiling 124. Note that at least a part of the side ceiling 124 may be constituted by the interior panel 14A. Also, for example, as shown in FIG. 1, if the interior panel 14B constitutes the side wall surface 122 below the window 28, the height dimension corresponds to the height from the floor surface 121 to the window 28. Furthermore, the width dimension (the dimension in the track direction) of the interior panel 14 is also appropriately changed depending on which part of the side wall surface 122 it constitutes. For example, as shown in FIG. 1, the width of the interior panel 14A that forms the side wall surface 122 beside the passenger entrance 26 corresponds to the distance from the passenger entrance 26 to the window 28. Also, as shown in FIG. 1, the width of the interior panel 14B that forms the side wall surface 122 below the window 28 corresponds to the width of the window 28. However, the height and width dimensions of the interior panel 14 described above are merely examples, and are not limited to the above. For example, the interior panel 14A has a width dimension that corresponds to the distance from the passenger entrance 26 to the window 28, but it is also possible to use an interior panel with a width dimension that includes the window 28 and with the window 28 portion hollowed out.

[0027] The interior panel 14 has a rectangular flat fixing member 16. The fixing member 16 has a longitudinal direction along the width direction (track direction) of the interior panel 14, and the length of this longitudinal direction is the same as the width dimension of the interior panel 14. The fixing member 16 is located at the end (lower end in Figs. 3 and 4) of the back surface 142 of the interior panel 14 on the floor covering 13 side so as to face the back surface 142 and to sandwich the joint portion 193 of the inner rib member 19 together with the back surface 142. The fixing member 16 also has a plurality of screw holes 161 at equal intervals along the longitudinal direction. As shown in Fig. 3, the screw holes 161 penetrate the surface of the fixing member 16 on the interior panel 14 side and the surface on the opposite side, and a female thread is cut on the inner peripheral surface.

[0028] The interior panel 14 has a through hole 143 at a position corresponding to the screw hole 161 of the fixing member 16. As shown in Fig. 3, the through hole 143 penetrates the front surface 141 and the back surface 142 of the interior panel 14, so that the panel fixing screw 17 inserted into the through hole 143 from the passenger compartment 12 side can be screwed into the screw hole 161.

[0029] When the panel fixing screw 17 is rotated in the fastening direction, the fixing member 16 approaches the back surface 142 of the interior panel 14. On the other hand, when the panel fixing screw 17 is rotated in the opposite direction to the fastening direction, the fixing member 16 moves away from the back surface 142 of the interior panel 14. As described above, the fixing member 16 can move toward and away from the back surface 142, making it possible to adjust the size of the gap G11 between the fixing member 16 and the back surface 142.

[0030] When the fixing member 16 is brought close to the back surface 142 of the interior panel 14 and the gap G11 is set to be equal to or smaller than the thickness of the joint portion 193, the fixing member and the back surface 142 sandwich the joint portion 193 inserted into the gap G11. This sandwiching joins the inner frame member 19 and the interior panel 14. In other words, the interior panel 14 is attached to the vehicle body structure 11. On the other hand, when the fixing member 16 is moved away from the back surface 142 of the interior panel 14 and the gap G11 is made larger than the thickness of the joint portion 193, the connection between the inner frame member 19 and the interior panel 14 is released and the joint portion 193 of the inner frame member 19 can be inserted into and removed from the gap G11 from the floor surface 121 side. The position of the fixing member 16 where the fixing member 16 is spaced away from the back surface 142 of the interior panel 14 and the joint portion 193 of the inner rib member 19 can be inserted into and removed from the gap G11 is defined as a separated position (an example of a first position). The position of the fixing member 16 where the fixing member 16 is brought closer to the back surface 142 of the interior panel 14 than the separated position and the fixing member and the back surface 142 hold the joint portion 193 inserted into the gap G11 between them is defined as a close position (an example of a second position).

[0031] The inner frame member 19 has a U-shaped groove 195 at a position corresponding to the panel fixing screw 17. This U-shaped groove 195 penetrates from the surface of the inner frame member 19 on the interior panel 14 side to the opposite surface. As a result, the panel fixing screw 17 inserted into the through hole 143 of the interior panel 14 from the passenger compartment 12 side passes through the U-shaped groove 195 and is screwed into the screw hole 161. Furthermore, the U-shaped groove 195 opens toward the ceiling 123 (see FIG. 1) side (upper side in FIGS. 2 to 4). Furthermore, the width dimension (dimension in the track direction) of the U-shaped groove 195 is larger than the diameter of the panel fixing screw 17. Therefore, the panel fixing screw 17, which is perpendicular to the inner frame member 19, can be inserted into and removed from the U-shaped groove 195 from the ceiling 123 side.

[0032] A plurality of floating nuts 18 (an example of a floating member) are coupled to the surface of the fixed member 16 opposite to the surface facing the back surface 142. The floating nuts 18 are coupled between a plurality of screw holes 161, as shown in Fig. 2. Here, Fig. 10 is a cross-sectional view taken along CC in Fig. 2.

[0033] 10, the floating nut 18 is composed of a nut case 181 and a floating nut 182 that is held in a floating manner in the nut case 181. The floating nut 182 is allowed to float in a direction parallel to the side wall surface 122 (surface 141 of the interior panel 14).

[0034] The nut case 181 has a flat portion 181a parallel to the surface of the fixing member 16, and a circular opening 181b penetrating the flat portion 181a is provided in the center thereof. Wall portions 181c are provided at both ends of the flat portion 181a toward the fixing member 16. The wall portions 181c are provided with flange portions 181d extending outward from the nut case 181 in parallel with the flat portion 181a. The flange portions 181d are coupled to the fixing member 16 by countersunk rivets 183 inserted from the interior panel 14 side, thereby fixing the nut case 181 to the fixing member 16.

[0035] The floating nut 182 is composed of a plate portion 182a and a shaft portion 182b. The plate portion 182a is formed, for example, in a rectangular shape. The outer dimensions of the plate portion 182a are larger than the diameter of the opening 181b of the nut case 181, so that the floating nut 182 does not fall out of the nut case 181. The shaft portion 182b is formed in a cylindrical shape, and the inner peripheral surface is a female thread portion 182c that can be screwed with a baseboard fixing screw 21 (an example of a fixing tool) described later. The shaft portion 182b is inserted into the opening 181b of the nut case 181. The diameter of the shaft portion 182b is smaller than the diameter of the opening 181b, and the floating amount of the floating nut 182 is determined by the dimensional difference between the diameter of the shaft portion 182b and the diameter of the opening 181b. For example, in this embodiment, the dimensional difference is 10 mm, and the floating amount is 5 mm on one side. In other words, the axis of the shaft portion 182b (the female thread portion 182c) can be offset within a range of a circle with a radius of 5 mm centered on the axis of the opening 181b. Note that the amount of play of 5 mm is merely an example and is not limited to this. The amount of play is determined based on the size of the baseboard 20 and the size of the gap G21, within a range in which the baseboard 20 can sufficiently cover the gap G21.

[0036] As shown in Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, a gap G21 is provided between the lower end 145 of the interior panel 14 attached to the vehicle body structure 11 and the end 131 of the floor covering 13. This gap G21 is provided intentionally because it is difficult to make the interior panel 14 and the floor covering 13 adhere closely to each other due to manufacturing errors. However, if the gap G21 is visible from the passenger compartment 12, it is not preferable in terms of appearance. In addition, if liquid such as drinking water is spilled in the passenger compartment 12, the liquid may enter through the gap G21 and cause corrosion of the inner frame member 19, etc. For this reason, the gap G21 is covered and hidden from the passenger compartment 12 side by a baseboard 20 (an example of a decorative member).

[0037] The baseboard 20 is a rectangular plate material such as stainless steel or aluminum alloy. It has a longitudinal direction along the width direction (track direction) of the interior panel 14. The longitudinal dimension may be a length corresponding to the width dimension of the interior panel 14, a length spanning a plurality of adjacent interior panels (for example, a length spanning the interior panel 14A and the interior panel 14B), or a length corresponding to the width dimension of the side wall surface 122 (corresponding to the distance between the passenger boarding / alighting door 26 on the leading structure 114 side and the passenger boarding / alighting door 26 on the end structure 115 side). The lateral dimension may be adjusted as appropriate as long as it is large enough to sufficiently cover and conceal the gap G21.

[0038] The baseboard 20 has a through hole 201 at a position corresponding to the floating nut 18. The through hole 201 penetrates the surface of the baseboard 20 facing the passenger compartment 12 and the surface on the opposite side, allowing the baseboard fixing screw 21 to be inserted from the passenger compartment 12 side. The baseboard fixing screw 21 inserted into the through hole 201 is screwed into the floating nut 18, thereby fixing the baseboard 20 to the side wall surface 122. The baseboard 20 fixed to the side wall surface 122 clamps and fixes the end portion 131 of the floor covering 13 with the inner rib member 19, preventing the floor covering 13 from turning up at the end portion 131.

[0039] At the portion of the side wall surface 122 where the baseboard 20 is fixed, the interior panel 14, the joint portion 193 of the inner rib member 19, the fixing member 16, and the floating nut 18 are located in this order from the passenger compartment 12 side. The interior panel 14, the joint portion 193, and the fixing member 16 each have a through hole 144, 194, 162 penetrating the surface on the passenger compartment 12 side and the surface on the opposite side at a position corresponding to the floating nut 18. Since the through holes 144, 194, 162 are located coaxially, the baseboard fixing screw 21 inserted into the through hole 201 of the baseboard 20 from the passenger compartment 12 side passes through the through hole 144 provided in the interior panel 14, the through hole 194 provided in the joint portion 193, and the through hole 162 provided in the fixing member 16, and is screwed into the floating nut 18.

[0040] The through holes 144, 194, 162 have a diameter corresponding to the amount of free movement of the floating nut 182 of the floating nut 18. In other words, the diameters of the through holes 144, 194, 162 are set so that the baseboard fixing screw 21 inserted through the through holes 144, 194, 162 can be screwed into the female thread portion 182c of the floating nut 18 even if the axis of the shaft portion 182b (female thread portion 182c) of the floating nut 182 is offset from the axis of the opening 181b of the nut case 181 by the maximum amount of free movement.

[0041] 4, the baseboard fixing screw 21 screwed into the floating nut 18 is in a fully tightened state. When the baseboard fixing screw 21 is fully tightened, the head 211 of the baseboard fixing screw 21 and the plate portion 182a of the floating nut 182 (see FIG. 10) press the baseboard 20, interior panel 14, joint portion 193, and fixing member 16 from the left and right directions in FIG. 4, so that the floating nut 182 cannot move freely due to frictional force. As a result, the baseboard 20 is fixed to the side wall surface 122.

[0042] On the other hand, if the baseboard fixing screw 21 screwed into the female threaded portion 182c is not completely tightened but is left in a loose state (for example, the state shown in FIG. 9), the baseboard 20, the interior panel 14, the inner frame member 19, and the fixing member 16 are not compressed by the head 211 of the baseboard fixing screw 21 and the plate portion 182a of the floating nut 182, so that the floating nut 182 can move freely in a direction parallel to the side wall surface 122. In this state, the baseboard fixing screw 21 screwed into the floating nut 182 can be moved in a direction parallel to the side wall surface 122 within the range of the amount of free movement of the floating nut 182. This means that the mounting position of the baseboard 20 through which the baseboard fixing screw 21 is inserted can be adjusted within the range of the amount of free movement in a direction parallel to the side wall surface 122.

[0043] The procedure for attaching the interior panel 14 having the above-described mounting structure for interior members of a railway vehicle to the vehicle body structure 11 will be described below. Figures 5 to 7 are cross-sectional views taken at the same position as Figure 3 to explain the process of attaching the interior panel 14. Also, Figures 8 and 9 are cross-sectional views taken at the same position as Figure 4 to explain the process of attaching the baseboard 20. Note that Figures 5 to 9 only show one of both ends of the railway car 1 in the sleeper direction, but the other end has the same configuration.

[0044] Before the interior panel 14 is attached to the vehicle body structure 11, the floor covering 13 is laid on the floor panel 15 inside the vehicle body structure 11, and the floor surface 121 of the passenger compartment 12 is formed. First, the interior panel 14 to be attached is carried into the vehicle body structure 11, and the fixing member 16 is set in the separated position. Then, the interior panel 14 is oriented so that it is approximately perpendicular to the floor surface 121 and the fixing member 16 is positioned on the floor surface 121 side. In this oriented state, first, the end of the interior panel 14 on the ceiling 124 side is assembled to the vehicle body structure 11. After the end on the ceiling 123 side is assembled, as shown in FIG. 5, the interior panel 14 is lowered from the ceiling 123 side toward the floor surface 121 in the direction indicated by the arrow in the figure. At this time, the joint portion 193 of the inner frame member 19 is inserted into the gap G11, and the panel fixing screw 17 is inserted into the U-shaped groove 195 of the inner frame member 19.

[0045] Next, as shown in FIG. 6, the attachment position of the interior panel 14 is adjusted in a state where the joint portion 195 is inserted into the gap G11 and the panel fixing screw 17 is inserted into the U-shaped groove 193 of the inner frame member 19. At this time, the fixing member 16 is positioned at a separated position, so that the gap G11 is secured to be equal to or larger than the thickness of the joint portion 193 of the inner frame member 19. Therefore, the interior panel 14 is not fixed to the vehicle body structure 11, and the attachment position can be adjusted in the height direction and width direction. Note that, although the fixing member 16 is completely separated from the joint portion 193 of the inner frame member 19 in FIG. 6, the panel fixing screw 17 may be lightly tightened to adjust the attachment position of the interior panel 14 in a state where the fixing member 16 and the interior panel 14 hold the joint portion 193 between them to an extent that the interior panel 14 can be moved. In addition, by sandwiching a spacer or the like of any thickness between the back surface 142 of the interior panel 14 and the inner frame member 19, it is possible to adjust the mounting position of the interior panel 14 in the sleeper direction as well.

[0046] After adjusting and determining the mounting position of the interior panel 14, the panel fixing screws 17 are fully tightened and the fixing member 16 is positioned in the adjacent position as shown in Fig. 7. As a result, the joint portion 193 of the inner frame member 19 is clamped between the fixing member 16 and the rear surface 142 of the interior panel 14, and the interior panel 14 and the inner frame member 19 are joined together. In other words, the mounting of the interior panel 14 to the car body structure 11 is completed. As a result, the side wall surface 122 of the passenger compartment 12 is formed.

[0047] Next, as shown in Fig. 8, the baseboard 20 is attached to the side wall surface 122 from the passenger compartment 12 side. The baseboard 20 has the baseboard fixing screw 21 inserted through the through hole 201, and the baseboard fixing screw 21 is inserted from the passenger compartment 12 side through the through hole 144 of the interior panel 14, the through hole 194 of the inner rib member 19, and the through hole 162 of the fixing member 16, in that order. Note that the baseboard fixing screw 21 may be inserted through the through hole 201, the through holes 144, 194, and 162 after the baseboard 20 is attached to the side wall surface 122.

[0048] Next, as shown in Fig. 9, the baseboard fixing screw 21 inserted through the through holes 144, 194, 162 is screwed into the floating nut 182 of the floating nut 18. At this time, the baseboard fixing screw 21 is not tightened but loosened. In this state, the floating nut 182 can move freely in a direction parallel to the side wall surface 122 as described above, so that the mounting position of the baseboard 20 can be adjusted within the range of the amount of free movement in a direction parallel to the side wall surface 122. In Fig. 9, the head 211 of the baseboard fixing screw 21 is separated from the baseboard 20, and the baseboard 20, the interior panel 14, the inner rib member 19, and the fixing member 16 are not compressed at all by the head 211 and the floating nut 182. However, it is also possible to adjust the mounting position of the baseboard 20 by lightly tightening the baseboard fixing screw 21 so that the floating nut 182 can move freely, with the head 211 and the floating nut 182 compressing the baseboard 20, interior panel 14, inner rib member 19, and fixing member 16.

[0049] After adjusting and determining the mounting position of the baseboard 20, the baseboard fixing screw 21 is fully tightened as shown in Fig. 4. When the baseboard fixing screw 21 is fully tightened, the head 211 of the baseboard fixing screw 21 and the plate portion 182a of the floating nut 182 compress the baseboard 20, interior panel 14, inner frame member 19, and fixing member 16 from the left and right directions in Fig. 4, so that the floating nut 182 cannot move freely due to frictional force. As a result, the baseboard 20 is fixed to the side wall surface 122.

[0050] As described above, the mounting structure for an interior member of a railway vehicle according to this embodiment is as follows: (1) In a mounting structure for an interior member of a railway vehicle 1, the railway vehicle 1 includes a vehicle body structure 11, an interior space (passenger compartment 12) formed inside the vehicle body structure 11, and a first interior member (interior panel 14) and a second interior member (floor covering 13) that form an inner surface (side wall surface 122 and floor surface 121) of the interior space (passenger compartment 12) and are disposed adjacent to each other, the vehicle body structure 11 includes an inner frame member 19 for supporting at least the first interior member (interior panel 14) from a back surface 142 side of the first interior member (interior panel 14) opposite to a front surface 141 on the interior space (passenger compartment 12) side of the first interior member (interior panel 14), at a boundary between the first interior member (interior panel 14) and the second interior member (floor covering 13), the inner frame member 19 has a connecting portion 193 that connects to the first interior member (interior panel 14) on the back surface 142 side, the first interior member (interior panel 14) has a fixing member 16 at the end of the back surface 142 on the side of the second interior member (floor covering 13), and the fixing member 16 can be moved toward and away from the back surface 142 and is movable between a first position (separated position) where, by moving away from the back surface 142, a gap G11 into which the connecting portion 193 can be inserted from a direction parallel to the front surface 141 is generated between the fixing member 16 and the back surface 142, and a second position (close position) where, by moving closer to the back surface 142 than the first position (separated position), the fixing member 16 and the back surface 142 sandwich the connecting portion 193 inserted into the gap G11 and perform the connection.

[0051] According to the mounting structure for interior members of a railway vehicle described in (1), the first interior member (interior panel 14) is supported from the back surface 142 side by being connected to the inner frame member 19 located at the boundary with the second interior member (floor covering 13), and is mounted to the vehicle body structure 11 adjacent to the second interior member (floor covering 13).

[0052] Here, the first interior member (interior panel 14) is provided with a fixing member 16 that can be moved toward or away from the back surface 142 of the first interior member (interior panel 14) at the end on the side of the second interior member (floor covering 13). When the fixing member 16 is positioned at a first position (separate position) spaced apart from the back surface, a gap G11 into which the connecting portion 193 of the inner rib member 19 can be inserted is generated between the fixing member 16 and the back surface 142. In other words, when the fixing member 16 is positioned at the first position (separate position), it is possible to adjust the attachment position of the first interior member (interior panel 14) in a direction parallel to the direction in which the connecting portion 193 of the inner rib member 19 is inserted (in the vertical and width directions of the side wall surface 122). Then, when the fixing member 16 is positioned at the second position (close position) where it is brought close to the back surface 142, the fixing member 16 and the back surface 142 hold the joint portion 193 inserted into the gap G11 between them, and therefore the first interior member (interior panel 14) and the inner frame member 19 are joined together. In other words, if the fixing member 16 is positioned at the first position (separate position) and the mounting position is adjusted, and the mounting position is determined, the fixing member 16 is positioned at the second position (close position), and then the first interior member (interior panel 14) and the inner frame member 19 are joined together at the determined mounting position (i.e., the first interior member (interior panel 14) is attached to the vehicle body structure 11). In this way, the mounting position of the first interior member (interior panel 14) can be adjusted and the first interior member (interior panel 14) can be attached to the vehicle body structure 11 by the approaching and separating operation of the fixing member 16, so that the first interior member (interior panel 14) can be attached to the vehicle body structure without the need for drilling work, which is a cause of chipping. This makes it possible to prevent a decrease in the manufacturing efficiency of the railway car 1 due to the work of removing the cutting chips. Furthermore, there is no risk of residual cutting chips causing damage to devices or wiring, or leading to injury to passengers.

[0053] (2) In the mounting structure for the interior member of the railway vehicle described in (1), a decorative member (baseboard 20) is provided for covering and concealing the boundary portion between the first interior member (interior panel 14) and the second interior member (floor covering 13) from the vehicle interior space (passenger compartment 12) side, the fixing member 16 is provided with a floating member (floating nut 18) having a predetermined amount of free movement in a direction parallel to the surface 141, and in a state in which the first interior member (interior panel 14) is joined to the inner frame member 19, the first interior member (interior panel 14), the joint portion 193, the fixing member 16 are connected to the inner frame member 19 from the vehicle interior space (passenger compartment 12) side. The fixed member 16 and the floating member (floating nut 18) are positioned in that order; the first interior member (interior panel 14), the connecting portion 193 and the fixed member 16 each have through holes 144, 194, 162 of a size corresponding to the amount of free movement at a position corresponding to the floating member (floating nut 18); and the decorative member (baseboard 20) is fixed by a fixing device (baseboard fixing screw 21) that is inserted into the through holes 144, 194, 162 from the vehicle interior space (passenger compartment 12) side and is connected to the floating member (floating nut 18).

[0054] According to the mounting structure of the interior member of the railway vehicle described in (2), a decorative member (baseboard 20) is provided for covering and concealing the boundary portion (gap G21) between the first interior member (interior panel 14) and the second interior member (floor covering 13) from the vehicle interior space (passenger compartment 12). The decorative member (baseboard 20) is fixed by fastening devices (baseboard fixing screws 21) inserted into through holes 144, 194, 162 provided in the first interior member (interior panel 14), the joint portion 193, and the fixing member 16, respectively, being coupled to the floating member (floating nut 18). The floating member (floating nut 18) has a predetermined amount of free movement in a direction parallel to the surface 141 of the first interior member (interior panel 14), and the through holes 144, 194, 162 have a size corresponding to the amount of free movement of the floating member (floating nut 18). Therefore, it is possible to adjust the mounting position of the baseboard 20 within the range of the amount of free movement. In this way, it is possible to adjust the mounting position and mount the baseboard 20 without requiring drilling work, which is a cause of chips, and therefore it is possible to prevent a decrease in the manufacturing efficiency of the railway car 1 due to chip removal work. In addition, there is no risk of residual chips causing damage to equipment or wiring, or leading to injury to passengers. The predetermined amount of free movement of the free member (floating nut 18) is determined within the range in which the decorative member (baseboard 20) can cover and hide the boundary portion (gap G21).

[0055] The above embodiment is merely an example and does not limit the present invention in any way. Therefore, the present invention can be modified and improved in various ways without departing from the scope of the present invention. For example, in the above embodiment, the passenger compartment 12 is used as an example of the interior space of the vehicle, but the interior space of the vehicle may be a driver's compartment, an interior deck, or the like.

[0056] In addition, while the above embodiment describes the adjustment of the mounting position and installation of the interior panel 14 and baseboard 20 on the side wall surface 122, the present invention is also applicable to the adjustment of the mounting position and installation of the interior panel and pressure surface on the end wall surfaces (the wall surfaces at both ends of the passenger compartment 12 in the track direction).

[0057] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the floor covering 13 is used as an example of the second interior member, but the second interior member may be an interior panel arranged adjacent to the first interior panel (interior panel 14). In this case, the inner rib member supports both the first interior panel and the second interior panel. [Explanation of symbols]
