Abstract
To provide a coating applicator, which can suppress variation in quantities of powder applied to a body to be applied compared with a case where powder held by a rigid application part is applied to the body to be applied.SOLUTION: A coating applicator comprises: holding parts 64 and 65 including porous elastic bodies 64, which exposes portions of powder 75 held by the elastic bodies to a surface; a regulating part 72 that rotates relatively with the holding parts and regulates a thickness of the powder on the surface; and an application part 22 including a porous elastic part 24, which receives the powder having the thickness thereof regulated by the regulating part from the surface and then applies the powder to a body 80 to be applied while pressing the powder against the body by compressing the elastic bodies by the elastic part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
