Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a traffic management system, a traffic management method, and a traffic management program. [Background technology]

[0002] There is a demand for managing the driving hours of drivers who work in vehicles. For taxis, which are one type of vehicle, there is a device that calculates the estimated driving time required to travel from the current location to the destination, and calculates the remaining time that the driver can work by subtracting the estimated driving time and the driving time up to the present from the maximum driving time (see Patent Document 1).

[0003] However, buses, particularly route buses, must travel a set route after leaving a depot and then return to the depot, and therefore cannot manage the remaining time like the taxi drivers described in Patent Document 1. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0007] An embodiment will be described below.

[0008] [Outline of Traffic Control System 100] First, an overview of a traffic control system 100 according to an embodiment will be described. FIG. 1 is a diagram (schematic diagram) for explaining a traffic control system 100 according to an embodiment.

[0009] The traffic management system 100 is a device that manages the traffic of vehicles such as buses, trucks, etc. In the following, a bus 300 is taken as an example of one of the vehicles, and a device that manages the traffic of the bus 300 will be described. The fleet management system 100 may be one or more computers, such as, for example, a server, a desktop, a laptop, a tablet, and a smartphone.

[0010] The traffic management system 100 sets multiple geofences (location areas 400) continuously in the travel direction of the bus 300 at the entrance / exit 513 of a traffic facility 510 such as a business office or information desk where the bus 300 is parked. In the example shown in FIG. 1, the traffic management system 100 sets a geofence (location area 400) set by multiple points R1, R2, R3, and R4 defined by location information, and a geofence (location area 400) set by multiple points R5, R6, R7, and R8 defined by location information, at the entrance / exit 513 of the traffic facility 510. The geofence (location area 400) is an area surrounded by location information of multiple points. That is, the geofence (location area 400) may be, for example, an area surrounded by multiple points (points indicated by latitude and longitude (location information)) set by setting multiple points indicated by latitude and longitude.

[0011] Bus 300 includes a positioning sensor 301. Positioning sensor 301 can measure its position based on receiving signals from satellites using, for example, GPS and GNSS. Positioning sensor 301 can also acquire the time when measuring its position. Therefore, bus 300 including positioning sensor 301 can generate bus position information related to the position of the traveling vehicle and bus time information related to the time when the position is measured. Bus 300 (positioning sensor 301) transmits bus information (bus position information and bus time information).

[0012] The traffic management system 100 acquires bus time information (bus position information and bus time information) from the bus 300 (positioning sensor 301). The traffic management system 100 determines whether the bus 300 has passed through a geofence (position area 400) based on a travel trajectory 310 consisting of multiple positions of the bus 300 recorded in the bus position information. That is, the traffic management system 100 compares the travel trajectory 310 of the bus 300 (multiple positions based on the bus position information) with the geofence (position area 400) defined by multiple positions based on the position information, and determines whether the travel trajectory 310 of the bus 300 has passed through the geofence (position area 400).

[0013] When the operation management system 100 determines that the driving trajectory 310 (positions P1, P2, P3) of the bus 300 has passed through a geofence (location area 400), it records the times t1, t2, and t3 when the bus 300 passed through the geofence (location area 400) as the driving time (departure time or arrival time). That is, when the traffic control system 100 determines that the travel trajectory 310 (positions P1, P2, P3) of the bus 300 has passed through the geofence (location area 400), it identifies the times t1, t2, and t3 at which the bus 300 passed through the geofence (location area 400) as the departure time or the entry time based on the time recorded in the bus time information. In the example shown in Fig. 1, the entry is determined based on the transition of the travel trajectory 310 of the bus 300, so the traffic control system 100 identifies the times t1, t2, and t3 as the entry time.

[0014] Furthermore, when bus 300 leaves the depot, traffic control system 100 specifies as the departure time the time specified in the same manner as in the above-described case (entry case) illustrated in Fig. 1. Traffic control system 100 may determine the departure or entrance of bus 300, for example, based on travel trajectory 310 of bus 300 (the moving direction of the position of bus 300 recorded in the bus position information). Traffic control system 100 may determine the series of times from the departure time to the entry time of the same bus 300 as the travel time (operation time) of that bus 300.

[0015] [Details of Traffic Control System 100] Next, the traffic control system 100 according to an embodiment will be described in detail. FIG. 2 is a block diagram for explaining the traffic control system 100 according to an embodiment.

[0016] The traffic management system 100 includes, for example, a communication unit 121, a storage unit 122, a display unit 123, and a control unit 110. The communication unit 121, the storage unit 122, and the display unit 123 may be an embodiment of the output unit. The control unit 110 includes, for example, a setting unit 111, an acquisition unit 112, a determination unit 113, and a recording unit 114. The control unit 110 may be configured, for example, by an arithmetic processing device of the traffic management system 100. The control unit 110 (for example, an arithmetic processing device) may realize the functions of each unit (for example, the setting unit 111, the acquisition unit 112, the determination unit 113, and the recording unit 114) by, for example, appropriately reading and executing various programs stored in the storage unit 122. That is, the functions of each unit may be realized by computer implementation.

[0017] The communication unit 121 is, for example, a communication interface capable of transmitting and receiving various information to and from devices (external devices) outside the traffic management system 100. The external devices may be, for example, the server 200 (see FIG. 1), the bus 300 (vehicle), and a user terminal (not shown).

[0018] The storage unit 122 may store, for example, various information and programs. Examples of the storage unit 122 may be a memory, a solid state drive, a hard disk drive, etc. Note that the storage unit 122 may be, for example, a storage area and a server on a cloud.

[0019] The display unit 123 is, for example, a display capable of displaying various characters, symbols, images, and the like.

[0020] FIG. 3 is a diagram for explaining an example of the position area 400. As shown in FIG. FIG. 4 is a diagram for explaining a location area 400 (first location area 401) in the case where traffic facilities 510 are installed on opposite sides of the same road 520. In FIG. FIG. 5 is a diagram for explaining an example of a location area 400 (a first location area 401 set at an entrance / exit 513 of a traffic facility 510, and a second location area 402 set away from the entrance / exit 513 (first location area 401)).

[0021] The setting unit 111 sets multiple position areas 400 (geofences) surrounded by multiple points of position information consecutively in the traveling direction of the bus 300 at the entrance / exit 513 of the transportation facility 510 where the bus 300 is parked (see FIG. 1). The position area 400 is an area surrounded by position information of a plurality of points. For example, the setting unit 111 may set a plurality of points indicated by latitude and longitude as the position area 400, and set a plurality of areas surrounded by the plurality of points (points indicated by latitude and longitude (position information)). The entrance / exit 513 may serve as both an entrance and an exit, or may be either an entrance or an exit. Furthermore, the setting unit 111 may set one or more location areas 400 (geofences) on a road 520 adjacent to (connecting to) an entrance / exit 513 of a traffic facility 510 (see FIG. 3). In this case, the road 520 on which the location area 400 is set may be included in the "entrance / exit of a traffic facility" of the present disclosure.

[0022] The setting unit 111 may set transportation facility identification information for identifying whether or not each of the multiple location areas 400 is the same transportation facility 510. That is, the setting unit 111 may set the same transportation facility identification information for multiple location areas 400 set in the same transportation facility 510. In this case, the setting unit 111 may associate the location information of each of the multiple points defining the location area 400 with the transportation facility identification information set in each of the multiple location areas 400, and set it as the first information.

[0023] The setting unit 111 may set, as the multiple location areas 400, a second location area 402 (see FIG. 5) at a position away from the first location area 401 in addition to the first location area 401 (see FIGS. 3 and 5) set in a continuous manner at the entrance / exit 513 of the traffic facility 510. That is, the setting unit 111 may set, as the multiple location areas 400, a multiple number of first location areas 401 and one or a multiple number of second location areas 402. In this case, the setting unit 111 may set the multiple first location areas 401 and at least one second location area 402 along a predetermined traveling direction of the bus 300. The setting unit 111 may set different multiple second location areas 402 at different points (on different routes of the bus 300). The setting unit 111 may set a plurality of first position areas 401 consecutively in the traveling direction of the bus 300. In this case, the setting unit 111 may set the plurality of first position areas 401 (adjacent first position areas 401) so that they are adjacent to each other, or may set the plurality of first position areas 401 (adjacent first position areas 401) so that they are spaced apart by a predetermined distance. The predetermined distance may be a preset distance such as 5 m, 10 m, 15 m, 20 m, or 30 m.

[0024] As illustrated in FIG. 4, when there are a plurality of traffic facilities 510 facing each other across a road 520, the setting unit 111 may set the first position area 401 at the entrance / exit 513 of each of the plurality of traffic facilities 510. The traffic facilities 510 may be arranged facing each other across the same road 520 (for example, facing each other on the right and left sides of the road 520 with respect to the traveling direction of the vehicle). As an example of this case, the setting unit 111 may set a plurality of position areas 400 (for example, a plurality of first position areas 401) at each of the entrance / exit 513 of the traffic facility 510 on the right side of the road 520 and the entrance / exit 513 of the traffic facility 510 on the left side of the road 520. The setting unit 111 may identify the traffic facility 510 on the right side of the road 520 and the traffic facility 510 on the left side of the road 520 as the same traffic facility.

[0025] 5, the setting unit 111 may set the second location area 402 on a road 520 that connects to an entrance / exit 513 of a traffic facility 510 of the bus 300 in which the first location area 401 is set. That is, the setting unit 111 may set the second location area 402 on a road 520 (road 520 that connects to the entrance / exit 513) in the traveling direction (travel route) of the bus 300 after the bus 300 passes through the first location area 401 (the entrance / exit 513 of the traffic facility 510). In this case, the setting unit 111 may set the second location area 402 to a position that the bus 300 passes through after moving for a predetermined time from the first location area 401. That is, the setting unit 111 may set the second location area 402 to a position (on the road 520) that the bus 300 has traveled for a predetermined time along the traveling direction (traveling route) of the bus 300 after passing the first location area 401, or to a position (on the road 520) that the bus 300 passes through after traveling for the predetermined time. The setting unit 111 may set, as the predetermined time, the time from when the positioning sensor 301 changes from an off state to an on state to when positioning becomes possible. After the positioning sensor 301 changes from an off (stopped) state to an on (activated) state, it takes time for positioning to become possible. The time until activation can be obtained, for example, by conducting an experiment or the like in advance. In addition, the positioning sensor 301 changes from an off state to an on state in response to the start of the engine of the bus 300, for example, and changes from an off state to an on state manually by a driver or by automatic control when the bus 300 departs from the transportation facility 510. The setting unit 111 may assume that the second position is the time when the positioning sensor 301 changes from an off state to an on state based on the representative position of the traffic facility 510 or the position of the first position area 401, and may set the second position to a position (on the road 520) that the bus 300 passes after traveling for a time (time when positioning becomes possible) (predetermined time) until the positioning sensor 301 is activated, which is obtained by an experiment or the like. In this case, the setting unit 111 may calculate a distance from the first position area 401 to the second position area 402 based on the traveling speed (for example, average traveling speed) of the bus 300 obtained in advance and the time until the positioning sensor 301 is activated (predetermined time), and set the second position area 402 to a position at that distance (a position beyond that distance).

[0026] The acquisition unit 112 acquires bus position information relating to the position of a traveling bus 300 equipped with a positioning sensor 301, and bus time information relating to the time when the position is measured.

[0027] Here, the bus 300 includes a positioning sensor 301. The positioning sensor 301 can measure the position based on receiving a signal from a satellite, for example, using a positioning system such as GPS or GNSS. The positioning sensor 301 can also acquire the time when measuring the position. Therefore, the bus 300 including the positioning sensor 301 can generate bus position information related to the position of the traveling vehicle and bus time information related to the time when the position is measured. The bus 300 (positioning sensor 301) may generate the bus position information and bus time information (bus information) during a series of traveling of the bus 300, for example, from when the engine of the bus 300 is started to when it is stopped, that is, from when the positioning sensor 301 is activated to when it is stopped. The bus 300 (positioning sensor 301) transmits the bus position information and bus time information (bus information) to the traffic management system 100 or the server 200, for example. The bus 300 may include bus identification information for identifying the bus itself in the bus information, or may include driver identification information for identifying the driver in the bus information. That is, the acquisition unit 112 acquires the bus information.

[0028] The acquisition unit 112 acquires the bus information from an external device, for example, via the communication unit 121. The external device here may be the bus 300 (the positioning sensor 301), the server 200, or the like. Alternatively, for example, when an external memory that stores the bus information is connected to an interface (not shown) of the traffic control system 100, the acquisition unit 112 may acquire the bus information from the external memory.

[0029] The determination unit 113 determines whether the bus 300 has passed through the position area 400 based on the travel trajectory 310 consisting of multiple positions of the bus 300 recorded in the bus position information. The determination unit 113 compares the travel trajectory 310 of the bus 300 (multiple positions (position trajectory) based on the bus position information) with the position area 400 defined by the multiple positions based on the position information, and determines whether the travel trajectory 310 of the bus 300 has passed through the position area 400. In addition, when multiple position areas 400 are set consecutively at one entrance / exit 513 in the direction in which the bus 300 leaves and enters the warehouse (the direction in which the bus 300 travels), the judgment unit 113 may determine whether all of the multiple position areas 400 have been passed through.

[0030] When determination unit 113 determines that bus 300 has passed through location area 400, recording unit 114 records the traveling time of bus 300 based on the time recorded in the bus time information corresponding to when the position of bus 300 was measured. In other words, when recording unit 114 determines that traveling trajectory 310 of bus 300 has passed through location area 400, recording unit 114 identifies the time when bus 300 passed through location area 400 based on the time recorded in the bus time information, and records the identified time as the traveling time of bus 300.

[0031] The recording unit 114 may record the following (i) departure time and the following (ii) arrival time. (i) Based on the judgment result of the judgment unit 113, the recording unit 114 judges that the bus 300 is leaving the depot when the bus 300 passes through each of the multiple location areas 400 from inside the transportation facility 510 to outside the transportation facility 510, and records the time when the bus 300 passes through at least one of the multiple location areas 400 based on the bus time information as the departure time of the bus 300. (ii) Based on the judgment result of the judgment unit 113, the recording unit 114 judges that the bus 300 has entered the garage when the bus 300 passes through each of the multiple location areas 400 from outside the transportation facility 510 toward inside the transportation facility 510, and records the time when the bus 300 passes through at least one of the multiple location areas 400 based on the bus time information as the entry time of the bus 300. The recording unit 114 may determine whether the bus 300 has left or entered the depot based on the movement progress (the movement direction of the driving trajectory 310) of the position of the bus 300 (the time corresponding to that position) recorded in the bus position information and bus time information.

[0032] Regarding the above (i), for example, when the second location area 402 is not set, the recording unit 114 may record the time when the bus 300 passes through the first location area 401 when leaving the transportation facility 510 as the departure time. When a plurality of first location areas 401 are set, for example, the recording unit 114 may record the time when the bus 300 passes through any one of the plurality of first location areas 401, or the earliest time at which it is recorded that the bus 300 has passed through any one of the plurality of first location areas 401, as the departure time.

[0033] Regarding (i) above, for example, when second location area 402 is set, recording unit 114 may record the time when bus 300 leaves transportation facility 510 and passes through second location area 402 as the departure time. Or, with regard to (i) above, when the second location area 402 is set, the recording unit 114 may record, for example, the time when the bus 300 passed through any of the multiple first location areas 401 and the second location area 402, or the earliest time at which it is recorded that the bus 300 has passed through any of the multiple first location areas 401 and the second location area 402, as the departure time.

[0034] Regarding the above (ii), the recording unit 114 may record, for example, the time when the bus 300 passes through the first location area 401 when entering the depot from the transportation facility 510 as the entry time. Since a plurality of first location areas 401 are set, the recording unit 114 may record, for example, the time when the bus 300 passes through any one of the plurality of first location areas 401, or the latest time at which the passage of the bus 300 through any one of the plurality of first location areas 401 is recorded, as the entry time.

[0035] Recording unit 114 may record the period from the departure time to the entry time recorded next to the departure time as the operation time of bus 300 (the running time of bus 300). That is, recording unit 114 may record, for example, the operation time of bus 300 as the running time of bus 300 described above. In a series of runs from when the same bus 300 leaves transportation facility 510 to when it enters transportation facility 510, recording unit 114 records the departure time and entry time of bus 300 as described above. Recording unit 114 records the period from the departure time to the entry time as the operation time of bus 300 (the running time of bus 300).

[0036] The recording unit 114 may record the operation time of the bus 300 as the work time of the crew member working on the bus 300. That is, when recording the operation time of the bus 300 as described above, the recording unit 114 may record the operation time of the bus 300 as the work time of the crew member working on the bus 300 by using the bus identification information of the bus 300 and the crew identification information of the crew member working on the bus 300, for example.

[0037] FIG. 6 is a diagram for explaining an example of the contents recorded by recording unit 114. As shown in FIG.

[0038] As illustrated in FIG. 6, the recording unit 114 may record the entry / exit type, time, vehicle number, driver, and traffic facility 510. The recording unit 114 records whether the entry / exit type is exit or entrance, and records the time (exit time and entrance time). The recording unit 114 may record the identification information (ID) of the bus 300 leaving or entering the depot based on the bus information (bus identification information). The recording unit 114 may record the identification information (ID) of the driver working on the bus 300, or the name of the driver linked to the driver identification information, based on the bus information (driver identification information). The bus information may include bus identification information, driver information, bus position information, and bus time information. In addition, when the setting unit 111 sets multiple location areas 400, the recording unit 114 may further record, based on the traffic facility information (first information) set for each of the multiple location areas 400, the identification information (ID) of the traffic facility 510, or the name of the traffic facility linked to the traffic facility identification information, indicating which traffic facility 510's location area 400 the leaving and entering bus 300 has passed through.

[0039] The recording unit 114 may record the result of calculating the salary of the crew member according to the crew member's working hours. That is, the recording unit 114 may keep a working record of the crew member (e.g., a record of attendance, etc.) by using the crew member's working hours recorded as described above, for example. As a specific example, if the crew member is paid an hourly wage, the recording unit 114 may calculate the salary by multiplying the crew member's working hours by the hourly wage. As a specific example, the recording unit 114 may predetermine a formula for calculating the salary amount using the on-duty time, and may use the value obtained by substituting the on-duty time recorded as described above into the formula as the salary amount. The recording unit 114 may calculate the salary of the crew member according to the working hours of the crew member by various methods other than the above example. The recording unit 114 may store (record) the calculated information on the salary of the crew member in the storage unit 122. In this case, the recording unit 114 may store (record) the salary of the crew member (salary information) in the storage unit 122 in association with (associated with) the identification information of the crew member.

[0040] For example, when the setting unit 111 sets the first location area 401 at the entrance / exit 513 of each of the multiple transportation facilities 510 in a case where there are multiple transportation facilities 510 facing each other across a road 520, when a bus 300 moves from one of the multiple transportation facilities 510, crossing the road 520, to the other transportation facility 512 within a specified time (see arrow A in Figure 4), the recording unit 114 may not record this as the operating time (travel time) of the bus 300, or may record it as the operating time (travel time) of the bus 300. Here, the specified time may be various pre-set times, such as the time it takes for bus 300 to cross road 520 when traveling from one traffic facility 511 on the right (or left) side of road 520 to another traffic facility 512 on the left (or right) side of road 520, among traffic facilities 510 arranged on opposite sides of the same road 520 (for example, on opposite sides of the road 520 in the direction of travel of vehicles traveling on road 520 (upper and lower sides of road 520 in Figure 4)), crossing the road 520. In the case where a traffic facility 510 (plurality of traffic facilities 511, 512 positioned facing each other across a road 520) is arranged as illustrated in FIG. 4, making the above-mentioned specified time relatively shorter (extremely shorter) produces, for example, the following effects. That is, the traffic management system 100 (control unit 110) can determine whether the bus 300 has performed a commercial operation that makes a round of each bus stop, or whether the bus 300 has simply moved directly from one traffic facility 511 to the other traffic facility 512, by checking whether the travel time of the bus 300 from one traffic facility 511 to the other traffic facility 512 is within a predetermined time. As an example, when the bus 300 travels from one traffic facility 511 to the other traffic facility 512 within a relatively short time of within 30 seconds (predetermined time), the traffic management system 100 (control unit 110) can determine that the bus 300 has simply moved directly from one traffic facility 511 to the other traffic facility 512. This allows the traffic management system 100 (control unit 110) to not only accurately determine the driver's working time, but also to easily determine, for example, whether or not the bus 300 needs to be refueled, thereby making preparations for the next trip more efficient.

[0041] The recording unit 114 may control the output unit to output the recorded and calculated contents as described above. The output unit may be, for example, a communication unit 121, a storage unit 122, a display unit 123, etc. That is, the recording unit 114 may control the communication unit 121 to transmit the recorded and calculated contents as described above to an external device. The external device here may be, for example, the server 200, a user terminal (not shown) disposed in the transportation facility 510, or the like. The user terminal may be, for example, a desktop, a laptop, a tablet, a smartphone, or the like. The recording unit 114 may, for example, control the storage unit 122 to store the recorded and calculated contents as described above. The recording unit 114 may, for example, control the display unit 123 to display the recorded and calculated contents as described above.

[0042] [Additional information] Additional matters regarding the traffic control system 100 of the above-described embodiment will be described below.

[0043] The traffic control system 100 may acquire information (first information) in which the position information of each of the multiple points that define the position area 400 is associated with the traffic facility identification information set for each of the multiple position areas 400. The traffic control system 100 may also acquire bus information. The operation management system 100 (determination unit 113) may determine, based on the first information and the bus information, which location area 400 of a transportation facility 510 the bus 300 has passed through, based on a driving trajectory 310 consisting of multiple locations recorded in the bus information (bus location information) of the same bus 300. When the determining unit 113 determines that the bus 300 has passed through the location area 400, the traffic management system 100 (recording unit 114) records the travel time of the bus 300 based on the time recorded in the bus time information corresponding to when the position of the bus 300 was measured. In this case, the traffic management system 100 (recording unit 114) may identify the traffic facility 510 when the bus 300 passed through the location area 400 based on the first information (traffic facility identification information), and record the travel time for each of the multiple traffic facilities 510 for each of the multiple buses 300 identified based on the bus information (bus identification information).

[0044] That is, the traffic management system 100: a first setting unit (setting unit 111) that sets a plurality of position areas 400, each of which is surrounded by a plurality of pieces of position information, continuously in a traveling direction of the bus 300 at an entrance / exit 513 of a transportation facility 510 where the bus 300 is parked; a second setting unit (setting unit 111) that sets traffic facility identification information for identifying a traffic facility 510 for each of the multiple location areas 400 set by the first setting unit, and generates first information that associates the location information of each of the multiple points that define each of the multiple location areas 400 (each of the multiple location areas 400) with the traffic facility identification information set for each of the multiple location areas 400; an acquisition unit 112 that acquires bus information including bus position information relating to the position of a traveling bus 300 equipped with a positioning sensor 301, bus time information relating to the time when the position is measured, and bus information for identifying the bus 300; a determination unit that determines, for an identical bus identified based on the bus identification information, whether the identical bus has passed through a location area set at an entrance / exit of a traffic facility among a plurality of traffic facilities, based on a travel trajectory consisting of a plurality of positions recorded in the bus location information of the identical bus and the first information; a recording unit 114 that, when the determination unit 113 determines that the same bus 300 has passed through the location area 400, records, for each transportation facility 510 in which the location area 400 is set (and for each bus among the multiple buses 300), the time when the same bus 300 passed through the location area 400 as the travel time of the same bus 300 based on bus information (bus time information); The present invention may also include:

[0045] [Operation management method] Next, a traffic management method according to an embodiment will be described. FIG. 7 is a flowchart for explaining a traffic management method according to an embodiment.

[0046] In step ST101, the setting unit 111 sets a plurality of position areas 400 surrounded by a plurality of pieces of position information consecutively in the travel direction of the bus 300 at the entrance / exit 513 of the transportation facility 510 where the bus 300 is parked. The setting unit 111 may set, as the multiple location areas 400, a second location area 402 at a position away from the first location area 401, in addition to the first location area 401 that is set in multiple contiguous locations around the entrances / exits 513 of the traffic facility 510. When there are a plurality of transportation facilities 510 facing each other across a road 520, the setting unit 111 may set the first location area 401 at the entrance / exit 513 of each of the plurality of transportation facilities 510. The setting unit 111 may set the second location area 402 on a road 520 that connects to an entrance / exit 513 of a transportation facility 510 of the bus 300 in which the first location area 401 is set. The setting unit 111 may set the second location area 402 to a position that the bus 300 passes through after moving a predetermined time from the first location area 401. The setting unit 111 may set, as the predetermined time, a time from when the positioning sensor 301 changes from an off state to an on state to when positioning becomes possible.

[0047] In step ST102, the acquisition unit 112 acquires bus position information relating to the position of the traveling bus 300 equipped with the positioning sensor 301, and bus time information relating to the time when the position is measured.

[0048] In step ST103, the determination unit 113 determines whether the bus 300 has passed through the location area 400, based on a travel trajectory 310 consisting of a plurality of positions of the bus 300 recorded in the bus location information acquired in step ST102.

[0049] In step ST104, if the recording unit 114 determines in step ST103 that the bus 300 has passed through the location area 400, it records the traveling time of the bus 300 based on the time recorded in the bus time information acquired in step ST102, which corresponds to the time when the position of the bus 300 was measured.

[0050] The recording unit 114 may record the following (i) departure time and the following (ii) entrance time. The recording unit 114 may record the period from the departure time to the entrance time recorded next to the departure time as the operation time of the bus 300 (the travel time of the bus 300).

[0051] In step ST105, the recording unit 114 records the operation time of the bus 300 recorded in step ST104 as the working time of the driver who drives the bus 300. The recording unit 114 calculates the salary of the driver in accordance with the working time of the driver.

[0052] [Functions and circuits] Next, the functions and circuits of the above-mentioned traffic control system 100 will be described. Each unit of the traffic control system 100 may be realized as a function of a computer processing unit or the like. The operation management system 100 may, for example, realize the functions of the setting unit 111, the acquisition unit 112, the judgment unit 113 and the recording unit 114 by a single control unit 110 (e.g., a calculation processing device, etc.), or may realize the functions of the setting unit 111, the acquisition unit 112, the judgment unit 113 and the recording unit 114 in a distributed manner by a plurality of different control units 110 (e.g., a calculation processing device, etc.). The setting unit 111, acquisition unit 112, judgment unit 113 and recording unit 114 (control unit 110) of the above-mentioned traffic management system 100 may be realized as a setting function, acquisition function, judgment function and recording function (control function) by a computer's arithmetic processing device or the like. The traffic management program can cause a computer to realize each of the above-mentioned functions. The traffic management program may be recorded in a non-transient tangible recording medium readable by a computer, such as a memory, a solid state drive, a hard disk drive, or an optical disk. The storage medium may be rephrased as a non-transient tangible computer-readable medium that stores the traffic management program. The traffic management program may also be transmitted online. The traffic management program can be realized as a product (computer program product) including the traffic management program by the control unit 110 (for example, a processing device, etc.). As described above, each unit of the traffic management system 100 may be realized by an arithmetic processing device of a computer or the like. The arithmetic processing device or the like is configured by, for example, an integrated circuit or the like. Therefore, each unit of the traffic management system 100 may be realized as a circuit that constitutes the arithmetic processing device or the like. In other words, the setting unit 111, the acquisition unit 112, the judgment unit 113, and the recording unit 114 (control unit 110) of the traffic management system 100 may be realized as a setting circuit, an acquisition circuit, a judgment circuit, and a recording circuit (control circuit) that constitute the arithmetic processing device of a computer or the like. The communication unit 121, the storage unit 122, and the display unit 123 (output unit) of the traffic management system 100 may be realized as a communication function, a storage function, and a display function (output function) including the functions of an arithmetic processing device, etc. The communication unit 121, the storage unit 122, and the display unit 123 (output unit) of the traffic management system 100 may be realized as a communication circuit, a storage circuit, and a display circuit (output circuit) by being configured, for example, by an integrated circuit, etc. The communication unit 121, the storage unit 122, and the display unit 123 (output unit) of the traffic management system 100 may be realized as a communication device, a storage device, and a display device (output device) by being configured, for example, by being configured by a plurality of devices.

[0053] The traffic management system 100 can combine one or any two or more of the above-mentioned multiple units. In this disclosure, the term "information" is used, but the term "information" can be replaced with "data" and the term "data" can be replaced with "information."

[0054] [Aspects and Effects of the Present Embodiment] Next, one aspect of this embodiment and the effects of each aspect will be described. Note that each aspect described below is an example at the time of filing, and this embodiment is not limited to the aspects described below. In other words, this embodiment is not limited to each aspect described below, and may be realized by appropriately combining each of the above-mentioned parts. In addition, a lower aspect may be able to cite any of the higher aspects. The effects of the present embodiment described below are merely examples, and the effects of each aspect are not limited to those described below. Each aspect may, for example, have at least one of the effects described below.

[0055] (Aspect 1) One embodiment of the operation management system includes a setting unit that sets multiple consecutive location areas surrounded by multiple points of position information in the direction of bus travel at the entrances and exits of a transportation facility where the bus is parked; an acquisition unit that acquires bus position information related to the position of a traveling bus equipped with a positioning sensor and bus time information related to the time when the position is measured; a determination unit that determines whether the bus has passed through the location area based on a traveling trajectory consisting of the multiple positions of the bus recorded in the bus position information; and a recording unit that, when the determination unit determines that the bus has passed through the location area, records the traveling time of the bus based on the time recorded in the bus time information corresponding to when the position of the bus was measured. This allows the traffic management system to record the travel time of the bus based on the position of the bus, i.e., the time when the bus passed through the position area set at the entrance / exit of the transportation facility.

[0056] In general, it is conceivable to record the running time of a bus based on the travel time of the bus. However, when considering the definition of "bus travel time", i.e., what constitutes "bus travel time", for example, the start and end points of the travel time and time adjustments until departure, a wide variety of interpretations come into play, making it impossible to uniformly stipulate the running time of a bus. In this regard, the traffic control system of this embodiment sets a location area at the entrance and exit of a transportation facility, and specifies the travel time of the bus based on the time when the location trajectory (travel trajectory) measured by the positioning sensor installed on the bus passes through the location area. This allows the traffic control system of this embodiment to specify a unique travel time of the bus using the bus position.

[0057] (Aspect 2) In one embodiment of the traffic management system, the setting unit may set, as the multiple location areas, a second location area at a position away from the first location area, in addition to a first location area that is set in multiple consecutive positions at the entrances and exits of a transportation facility. As a result, even if it takes time for the positioning sensor to start up, the traffic management system can identify the bus as leaving (and entering) when its travel path passes through the second position area, and can identify the time of this passage (the departure time (and entry time)) as the travel time of the bus. In other words, the traffic management system can reliably identify the travel time of the bus by using the bus position.

[0058] (Aspect 3) In the traffic management system according to one aspect, when there are a plurality of transportation facilities facing each other across a road, the setting unit may set the first location area at an entrance / exit of each of the plurality of transportation facilities. This allows the traffic management system to identify the travel time of buses (for each of the multiple buses) belonging to each of the multiple transportation facilities. In addition, when a transportation facility has multiple entrances and exits, the operation management system can set a location area (first location area) for each of the multiple entrances and exits, and can identify the travel time of buses (each of the multiple buses) belonging to the transportation facility.

[0059] (Aspect 4) In the traffic management system of one aspect, the setting unit may set the second location area on a road connecting to an entrance / exit of a bus transportation facility in which the first location area is set. As a result, even if the start-up time of the positioning sensor takes a long time, the traffic management system can determine the traveling time of the bus, for example, based on the time when the bus passes the second location area (and the first location area) by moving away from the first location, which is set at the entrance / exit of the transportation facility, and setting a second location area on the road along which the bus travels after leaving the entrance / exit.

[0060] (Aspect 5) In the traffic management system of one aspect, the setting unit may set the second location area to a location through which the bus passes after moving for a predetermined time from the first location area. As a result, even if the startup time of the positioning sensor takes a long time, the traffic management system can set the second position area to the position (on the road) where the bus passes after the time (predetermined time) considering the startup time of the positioning sensor has elapsed. In other words, the traffic management system can determine the traveling time of the bus based on the time when the position trajectory (travel trajectory) measured by the positioning sensor arranged on the bus passes through a position area (e.g., the second position area, etc.).

[0061] (Aspect 6) In one aspect of the traffic management system, the setting unit may set, as the predetermined time, a time from when the positioning sensor changes from an off state to an on state to when positioning becomes possible. This allows the traffic management system to determine the travel time of the bus based on the time when the position trajectory (travel trajectory) measured by the positioning sensor installed on the bus passes through a position area (e.g., a second position area, etc.).

[0062] (Aspect 7) In one aspect of the traffic management system, the recording unit may record the following (i) departure time and (ii) arrival time. (i) Based on the judgment result of the judgment unit, the operation management system judges that the bus has departed when it passes through each of a plurality of location areas from inside the transportation facility to outside the transportation facility, and records the time when the bus passes through at least one of the plurality of location areas based on the bus time information as the departure time of the bus. (ii) Based on the judgment result of the judgment unit, the operation management system judges that the bus has entered the depot when it passes through each of the multiple location areas from outside the transportation facility to inside the transportation facility, and records the time when the bus passes through at least one of the multiple location areas based on the bus time information as the bus entry time. This allows the operation management system to determine the departure time and arrival time of the bus based on the direction of the bus's travel (the direction in which the bus's traveling trajectory extends), and to determine the departure time and arrival time of the bus. Here, if only one location area is set, there is a risk that it will not be possible to determine whether a bus is leaving or entering the depot when it passes through that location area by itself. In this regard, the traffic management system of this embodiment sets multiple location areas; by setting two location areas as an example, it is possible to generate two patterns (multiple passing patterns) depending on the order in which the bus passes through those multiple location areas. For this reason, the traffic management system of this embodiment can instantly determine whether a bus is leaving or entering the depot depending on the two patterns (multiple passing patterns) of the order in which the bus passes through the multiple location areas.

[0063] In addition, when there are multiple times corresponding to when the bus's driving trajectory passes through the location area (the times when the bus passes through the location area (passage times)), the traffic management system may use the earliest of the multiple passing times as the departure time for the departure time (i) above, and may use the latest of the multiple passing times as the arrival time for the arrival time (ii) above. As a result, the operation management system records the driver's working hours as described below (mode 9), and when calculating the driver's salary as described below (mode 10), it can record the departure and arrival times that will result in the driver's working hours being longer, thereby providing a record that is advantageous to the driver.

[0064] (Aspect 8) In one aspect of the traffic management system, the recording unit may record the time from the departure time to the entry time recorded next to the departure time as the bus travel time. This allows the traffic control system to record the departure time based on the series of trips from departure to arrival of the bus, and to record the arrival time after (immediately after) the departure time. Also, the traffic control system can record the time from the departure time to the arrival time as the bus travel time, i.e., the operation time of the bus.

[0065] (Aspect 9) In one aspect of the traffic management system, the recording unit may record the operating hours of the bus as the working hours of the driver working on the bus. This allows the operation management system to record the driver's working hours (e.g., attendance, etc.).

[0066] (Aspect 10) In one aspect of the traffic management system, the recording unit may record the result of calculating the salary of the crew member according to the crew member's working hours. This allows the operation management system to calculate the salary of a driver based on the driving time (e.g., attendance, etc.) using various formulas.

[0067] (Aspect 11) In one embodiment of the operation management method, a computer executes the following steps: a setting step in which a plurality of location areas surrounded by multiple points of position information are set consecutively in the direction of bus travel at the entrances and exits of a transportation facility where the bus is parked; an acquisition step in which bus position information relating to the position of a traveling bus equipped with a positioning sensor and bus time information relating to the time when the position is measured; a determination step in which a computer determines whether the bus has passed through the location area based on a traveling trajectory consisting of the multiple positions of the bus recorded in the bus position information; and, if the determination step determines that the bus has passed through the location area, a recording step in which a computer records the traveling time of the bus based on the time recorded in the bus time information corresponding to when the position of the bus was measured. As a result, the traffic management method may achieve the same effects as the traffic management system of the above-mentioned aspect.

[0068] (Aspect 11) One embodiment of the operation management program implements in a computer a setting function for setting multiple consecutive location areas surrounded by multiple points of position information in the direction of bus travel at the entrances and exits of a transportation facility where the bus is parked; an acquisition function for acquiring bus position information relating to the position of a bus traveling with a positioning sensor and bus time information relating to the time when the position is measured; a determination function for determining whether the bus has passed through the location area based on a traveling trajectory consisting of multiple positions of the bus recorded in the bus position information; and a recording function for recording the traveling time of the bus based on the time recorded in the bus time information corresponding to when the position of the bus was measured by the determination function. As a result, the traffic management program may achieve the same effect as the traffic management system of the above-mentioned aspect.

[0069] By using the above-mentioned disclosure, it is possible to contribute to the achievement of Goal 9 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), "Build resilient infrastructure, promote industry, innovation and infrastructure." [Explanation of symbols]
