[0001] The present invention relates to a lattice unit and a lattice fence including the same. [Background technology]

[0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2007-22469 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] While there are vertical lattice fences made up of vertical lattice units in which multiple vertical lattices are lined up, there are also horizontal lattice fences made up of horizontal lattice units in which multiple horizontal lattices are lined up. Vertical lattice fences and horizontal lattice fences have different mounting structures, and therefore the structures of the lattice units that make up each of them are also different. However, both the vertical lattice units and the horizontal lattice units are made up of multiple lattices lined up. For this reason, it is desirable to be able to use lattice units for both vertical and horizontal lattice fences.
[0005] An object of the present disclosure is to provide a lattice unit that can be used for both vertical and horizontal lattice fences. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] The present disclosure relates to a lattice unit for use in a lattice fence, comprising a plurality of elongated lattice materials arranged side by side in a predetermined direction, and a pair of end connection members extending at both longitudinal ends of the plurality of lattice materials in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the plurality of lattice materials and connecting the plurality of lattice materials, wherein the pair of end connection members each have a first plate portion arranged along end faces formed facing outward in the longitudinal direction at each of both longitudinal ends of the plurality of lattice materials and extending in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the plurality of lattice materials, and a second plate portion rising outward in the longitudinal direction of the lattice material from the end of the first plate portion on the farthest side in the depth direction of the lattice unit. [0008] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. The lattice unit U of this embodiment can be used for both the vertical lattice fence 20 shown in Figures 1 and 2 and the horizontal lattice fence 30 shown in Figures 3 and 4 by changing the orientation of the lattice unit U by 90°.
[0009] As shown in FIG. 5, the multiple types of grating units U include, for example, a first grating unit U1, a second grating unit U2, a third grating unit U3, a fourth grating unit U4, and a fifth grating unit U5.
[0010] The first lattice unit U1 to the fifth lattice unit U5 differ in the number of lattice members 11 and the longitudinal lengths of a pair of end connection frames 12 that connect the ends of multiple lattice members 11, taking into consideration the size of the lattice fence to be installed and the connections with adjacent lattice units U. There are multiple types of lattice units U, depending on the number of lattice members 11 and the connection structure.
[0011] The first lattice unit U1 to the fifth lattice unit U5 differ in the number of lattice members 11, but have the same cross-sectional shape along the longitudinal direction of the lattice members 11. Therefore, in the description of the first lattice unit U1 to the fifth lattice unit U5, unless otherwise specified, the first lattice unit U1 to the fifth lattice unit U5 will be simply referred to as the "grating unit U."
[0012] 5 and 6, the lattice unit U has a plurality of long lattice materials 11 and a pair of end connection frames 12 (end connection members) that connect both longitudinal ends of the plurality of lattice materials 11. The pair of end connection frames 12 are oriented in different directions but have the same cross-sectional shape.
[0013] 5, for example, the first lattice unit U1 has two lattice members 11, and both longitudinal ends of a pair of end connection frames 12 protrude a first length L1 outward in the longitudinal direction from the positions of the lattice members 11 arranged at the ends. For example, the second lattice unit U2 has 20 lattice members 11, and both longitudinal ends of a pair of end connection frames 12 protrude slightly outward in the longitudinal direction from the positions of the lattice members 11 arranged at the ends.
[0014] For example, the third lattice unit U3 has thirteen lattice materials 11, and one longitudinal end of a pair of end connection frames 12 protrudes slightly outward in the longitudinal direction from the position of the lattice material 11 arranged at the end, and the other end protrudes outward in the longitudinal direction by a first length L1 from the position of the lattice material 11 arranged at the end.
[0015] For example, the fourth lattice unit U4 has 14 lattice members 11, and both longitudinal ends of a pair of end connection frames 12 protrude slightly outward in the longitudinal direction from the positions of the lattice members 11 arranged at the ends. For example, the fifth lattice unit U5 has 14 lattice members 11, and one longitudinal end of a pair of end connection frames 12 protrudes slightly outward in the longitudinal direction from the positions of the lattice members 11 arranged at the ends, and the other end protrudes a first length L1 outward in the longitudinal direction from the positions of the lattice members 11 arranged at the ends.
[0016] By combining these lattice units U (first lattice unit U1 to fifth lattice unit U5), it is possible to form, for example, a vertical lattice fence 20 as shown in Figures 1 and 2, or a horizontal lattice fence 30 as shown in Figures 3 and 4.
[0017] The details of the lattice unit U will be described. In this embodiment, in the description of the lattice unit U, when used in a vertical lattice fence 20 (see FIG. 1) and a horizontal lattice fence 30 (see FIG. 3), the near side of the lattice unit U in the depth direction is referred to as the near side, and the far side of the lattice unit U is referred to as the far side. When used in a vertical lattice fence 20 (see FIG. 1) and a horizontal lattice fence 30 (see FIG. 3), the near side surface of the lattice material 11 of the lattice unit U is referred to as the front side 11a, and the far side surface of the lattice material 11 of the lattice unit U is referred to as the back side 11b.
[0018] As shown in Fig. 6, the lattice material 11 is formed in an elongated shape extending in a predetermined direction. The lattice material 11 is formed in a hollow frame shape having a rectangular cylindrical cross section cut in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (see Fig. 7). The multiple lattice materials 11 are arranged side by side in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the lattice material 11 as shown in Fig. 5.
[0019] 6, the pair of end connection frames 12 are disposed at both longitudinal ends of the lattice material 11. The end connection frames 12 extend in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the multiple lattice materials 11 and connect the multiple lattice materials 11 together.
[0020] As shown in Figure 6, the end connection frame 12 has a C-shaped frame 13 arranged on the end face 11c formed on the outer side of the longitudinal direction of the lattice material 11 at each of both longitudinal ends of the lattice material 11, and a connection extension plate 14 (lattice material connection plate) arranged from the face of the C-shaped frame 13 facing the lattice material 11 along the back surface 11b (outer surface) of the lattice material 11.
[0021] The C-shaped frame 13 opens outward in the longitudinal direction of the lattice material 11. The C-shaped frame 13 has a lattice end surface arrangement plate portion 131 (first plate portion), a rear side standing plate 132 (second plate portion), a rear side protruding piece 133 formed at the tip of the rear side standing plate 132, a front side standing plate 134 (third plate portion), a front side protruding piece 135 formed at the tip of the front side standing plate 134, and a rear side lattice material side protruding piece 136.
[0022] The lattice end surface arrangement plate portion 131 is formed in a flat plate shape and is arranged along the end surface 11c (small end surface) formed facing outward in the longitudinal direction of the lattice material 11. The lattice end surface arrangement plate portion 131 is formed to extend the length of an extension portion 131a from a position protruding slightly forward from the front surface 11a of the lattice material 11 in the depth direction of the end surface 11c at the end of the longitudinal direction of the lattice material 11 to a position deeper than the back surface 11b of the lattice material 11.
[0023] The rear standing plate 132 is formed in a plate shape rising outward in the longitudinal direction of the lattice material 11 from the rear end of the lattice unit U in the depth direction of the lattice end surface arrangement plate portion 131. The rear protruding piece 133 protrudes from the outer end of the rear standing plate 132 in the longitudinal direction of the lattice material 11 to the front side in the depth direction.
[0024] The front side standing plate 134 is formed in a plate shape rising outward in the longitudinal direction of the lattice material 11 from the front end of the lattice unit U in the depth direction of the lattice end surface arrangement plate portion 131. The front side protruding piece 135 protrudes from the outer end of the front side standing plate 134 in the longitudinal direction of the lattice material 11 to the far side in the depth direction.
[0025] The rear lattice material side protruding piece 136 protrudes from the rear end of the lattice end surface arrangement plate portion 131 in the depth direction towards the lattice material 11 .
[0026] The connection extension plate 14 protrudes from the lattice end surface arrangement plate portion 131 toward the lattice material 11, and is arranged along the rear surface 11b (outer surface) on the rear side in the depth direction of the lattice unit U in the lattice material 11. The connection extension plate 14 is fixed to the rear surface 11b (outer surface) on the rear side in the depth direction of the lattice unit U in the lattice material 11, at the end side in the longitudinal direction of the lattice material 11, by screws 14a.
[0027] A pair of engagement pieces 141 (cover material attachment parts) are provided on the surface of the connecting extension plate 14 opposite the lattice material 11. The pair of engagement pieces 141 are arranged spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the connecting extension plate 14 and protrude from the middle of the longitudinal direction of the connecting extension plate 14 to the opposite side to the lattice material 11. An upper rear side cover material 23 (cover material) (described later) (see FIG. 9) or a rear side cover material 33 (cover material) (described later) (see FIG. 12) can be attached to the pair of engagement pieces 141. Both the upper rear side cover material 23 and the rear side cover material 33 cover the screw heads of the screws 14a that fix the connecting extension plate 14 to the rear surface 11b of the lattice material 11 from the rear surface 1b side of the lattice unit U.
[0028] Next, the vertical lattice fence 20 and the horizontal lattice fence 30 constructed using the lattice units U will be described.
[0029] First, we will explain the vertical lattice fence 20 constructed using lattice units U. For example, as shown in Fig. 2, in each lattice unit U of the vertical lattice fence 20, a first lattice unit U1, a third lattice unit U3, a fifth lattice unit U5, a fourth lattice unit U4, and a first lattice unit U1 are arranged and connected in this order in the horizontal direction from one side to the other side in the horizontal direction (from the left side to the right side in Fig. 2).
[0030] As shown in Figures 2 and 7 to 10, the vertical lattice fence 20 has a pair of posts 21, a plurality of lattice units U (first lattice unit U1, third lattice unit U3, fifth lattice unit U5, fourth lattice unit U4, first lattice unit U1), an upper end cover material 22, an upper rear side cover material 23 (cover material), a horizontal end cover material 24 (see Figure 10), and a lower end support member 25.
[0031] 7 and 8, the pair of posts 21 are disposed at both lateral ends of the vertical lattice fence 20. Each of the pair of posts 21 is connected to a lattice unit U disposed at the lateral end of the vertical lattice fence 20.
[0032] 6, the lattice unit U has a plurality of long lattice members 11 and a pair of end connection frames 12 connecting both longitudinal ends of the plurality of lattice members 11. The pair of end connection frames 12 are oriented in different directions but have the same cross-sectional shape.
[0033] 9, the rear standing plate 132 of the end connection frame 12 on the upper side of the lattice unit U is fixed to the upper part of the support 21 by the screw 132a. When fixing the rear standing plate 132 to the upper part of the support 21 by the screw 132a, a screwdriver (not shown) is passed through a through hole 134a (described later) formed in the front standing plate 134 of the upper end connection frame 12 to fix the rear standing plate 132 of the upper end connection frame 12 to the upper part of the support 21. The through hole 134a is formed in a part of the rear standing plate 132 corresponding to the position where it is fixed by the screw 132a.
[0034] The upper end covering material 22 is attached to the upper end connecting frame 12 so as to cover the open portion of the C-shaped frame 13 of the upper end connecting frame 12. The upper end covering material 22 extends in the longitudinal direction of the lattice material 11. The upper end covering material 22 is formed so that its cross-sectional shape that opens on the lower support 21 side is L-shaped.
[0035] As shown in Figure 9, the upper end cover material 22 has an upper panel 221, a front panel 222, a rear engagement protrusion 223 that protrudes downward from the rear side of the lower surface of the upper panel 221, and a front engagement protrusion 224 that protrudes downward from the front side of the lower surface of the upper panel 221.
[0036] The top plate 221 is formed in a flat shape and is placed on the top surface of the end connection frame 12 placed at the top, covering the upper side of the upper end connection frame 12. The front side plate 222 extends downward from the front end of the top plate 221. The front side plate 222 covers the front side of the upper end connection frame 12. The front side plate 222 covers the through hole 134a of the front side standing plate 134 of the end connection frame 12, through which the driver is passed.
[0037] The rear engagement protrusion 223 engages with the rear protruding piece 133 of the upper end connection frame 12 when attaching the upper end cover material 22 to the upper end connection frame 12. The front engagement protrusion 224 engages with the front protruding piece 135 of the upper end connection frame 12 when attaching the upper end cover material 22 to the upper end connection frame 12.
[0038] When attaching the upper end cover material 22 to the upper end connection frame 12, the rear engagement protrusion 223 is engaged with the rear protruding piece 133 of the upper end connection frame 12, and the front engagement protrusion 224 is engaged with the front protruding piece 135 of the upper end connection frame 12. In this manner, the upper end cover material 22 can be attached to the end connection frame 12. As a result, as shown in Fig. 9, the upper end cover material 22 can cover the open portion of the C-shaped frame 13 of the upper end connection frame 12 and the through hole 134a formed in the front standing plate 134. This improves the design.
[0039] As shown in Fig. 9, the upper rear cover material 23 is attached to the connection extension plate 14 of the upper end connection frame 12 fixed to the upper back surface 11b of the lattice material 11 by screws 14a. The upper rear cover material 23 extends in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the lattice material 11. The upper rear cover material 23 is formed in a U-shape with the lattice material 11 side open. The upper rear cover material 23 is provided so as to cover the screws 14a that fix the connection extension plate 14 of the end connection member 12 to the back surface 11b of the lattice material 11 from the back surface 11b side of the lattice unit U.
[0040] A pair of engaging protrusions 231 that protrude toward the side that closes the U-shaped open portion of the upper rear cover material 23 are formed inside the upper rear cover material 23. The pair of engaging protrusions 231 are engaged with a pair of engaging pieces 141 of the connecting extension plate 14 when the upper rear cover material 23 is attached to the connecting extension plate 14 of the end connecting frame 12 on the upper side.
[0041] In this way, the upper rear cover material 23 can cover the head of the screw 14a disposed between the pair of engagement pieces 141, as shown in Fig. 9. This allows the head of the screw 14a to be covered on the rear surface 11b side of the lattice material 11, and therefore the head of the screw 14a can be hidden from the gaps between the multiple lattice materials 11. This improves the design.
[0042] The lateral end covering material 24 is formed in an L-shape with the lower front side open in side view as shown in Fig. 10. The lateral end covering material 24 is attached to the longitudinal ends of the upper end connecting frame 12 to which the upper end covering material 22 is attached and the upper rear side covering material 23 so as to cover the longitudinal ends of the upper side end connecting frame 12 to which the upper end covering material 22 is attached and the upper rear side covering material 23.
[0043] The lower end support member 25 supports the lower part of the lattice unit U, as shown in Fig. 9. In the vertical lattice fence 20 of this embodiment, the lower part of the lattice unit U is structured to be embedded and fixed in the ground, as shown in Fig. 2. As shown in Fig. 9, the lower end support member 25 has an L-shaped support part 251 that is open downward in cross section, a protruding piece 254 that protrudes upward from halfway in the depth direction of the upper surface of the L-shaped support part 251, and an inclined piece 255 formed on the tip side of the L-shaped support part 251.
[0044] The L-shaped support portion 251 has a vertical extension plate 252 fixed to the front surface of the support column 21, and a horizontal support plate 253 extending from the upper end of the vertical extension plate 252 to the opposite side of the support column 21. The vertical extension plate 252 is fixed to the support column 21 by a screw 252a. The horizontal support plate 253 is arranged so as to close the open portion of the C-shaped frame 13 of the lower end connection frame 12. The horizontal support plate 253 is fixed on the support column 21 side by a screw 131b arranged penetrating downward from the upper surface side of the extension portion 131a of the lattice end surface arrangement plate portion 131 of the C-shaped frame 13 of the lower end connection frame 12.
[0045] A construction method for assembling a vertical lattice fence 20 will be described. The vertical lattice fence 20 is configured to include a plurality of lattice units U. The lattice unit U has a plurality of lattice members 11 and a pair of end connection frames 12 that connect both ends of the plurality of lattice members 11 in the longitudinal direction. For example, in a factory, the lattice unit U is assembled by fixing the connection extension plates 14 of the end connection frames 12 to the back faces 11b of the plurality of lattice members 11 with screws 14a on both the upper and lower sides of the lattice members 11, as shown in FIG. 6.
[0046] When constructing the vertical lattice fence 20 on-site, first, as shown in Fig. 9, the pair of engaging protrusions 231 of the upper rear cover material 23 is engaged with the pair of engaging pieces 141 of the connecting extension plate 14 of the upper end connection frame 12 at the upper back surface 11b of the lattice unit U, thereby attaching the upper rear cover material 23 to the connecting extension plate 14 of the upper end connection frame 12. This allows the upper rear cover material 23 to cover the screws 14a that fix the connecting extension plate 14 of the upper end connection frame 12 to the back surface 1c of the lattice material 11. The upper rear cover material 23 makes the screws 14a that fix the connecting extension plate 14 of the end connection frame 12 to the back surface 1c of the lattice material 11 invisible, improving the design.
[0047] 9, at the bottom of the lattice unit U, the lattice end surface arrangement plate portion 131 of the lower end connection frame 12 is fixed to the L-shaped support portion 251 of the lower end support member 25 fixed to the support column 21 with a screw 131b. Also, at the top of the lattice unit U, the rear standing plate 132 of the end connection frame 12 is fixed to the support column 21 with a screw 132a. Here, the screw 132a is fixed by a driver (not shown) passed through a through hole 134a formed in the front standing plate 134 of the upper end connection frame 12.
[0048] Next, the upper end cover material 22 is attached to the upper end connection frame 12. This allows the upper end cover material 22 to cover the open portion of the C-shaped frame 13 of the upper end connection frame 12 and the through hole 134a formed in the front standing plate 134, as shown in Fig. 9.
[0049] By constructing the vertical lattice fence 20 in this manner, the screws 131b, 132a, and 14a are not exposed to the outside, as shown in FIG. 10, thereby improving the design.
[0050] In the lattice unit U configured in this manner, as shown in Fig. 9, the end connection frame 12 has a thickness in the vertical direction at the upper end of the vertical lattice fence 20 because the end connection frame 12 has a front side standing plate 134. As a result, a sense of thickness can be created by the front side standing plate 134 of the end connection frame 12, as shown in Fig. 10. For example, even if the end connection frame 12 is formed from a metal shaped material such as aluminum material, by forming a wood grain pattern on the surface, for example, it is possible to give the impression that it is made of thick wood, improving the design.
[0051] Furthermore, in the lattice unit U, as shown in Fig. 9, by arranging the upper rear cover material 23 under the upper end connection frame 12, the upper end connection frame 12 and the upper rear cover material 23 are formed into a thick L-shape as shown in Fig. 10. Then, the upper end of the lattice material 11 is arranged in the open part of the thick L-shape formed by the end connection frame 12 and the upper rear cover material 23. As a result, as shown in Fig. 10, even if the end connection frame 12 and the upper rear cover material 23 are formed from a metal shaped material such as an aluminum material, for example, by forming a wood grain pattern on the surface, the thick L-shaped part can be given the impression of being made of thick wood, improving the design.
[0052] Next, we will explain the horizontal lattice fence 30 constructed using lattice units U. For example, as shown in Fig. 4, in the horizontal lattice fence 30, a second lattice unit U2 and a fifth lattice unit U5 are lined up from bottom to top in a state in which a plurality of lattice materials 11 are arranged horizontally along the horizontal direction in each lattice unit U, and these are lined up in two rows in the horizontal direction and connected.
[0053] As shown in Figures 4 and 11 to 13, the horizontal lattice fence 30 has three posts 31, a number of lattice units U (second lattice unit U2, fifth lattice unit U5), a side cover material 32, a rear side cover material 33 (cover material), an upper end cover material 34 (see Figure 13), an intermediate connecting member 35, and an intermediate cover material 36.
[0054] 11 and 12, the three posts 31 are arranged at both horizontal ends and the middle part of the horizontal lattice fence 30. At both horizontal ends of the horizontal lattice fence 30, the three posts 31 are connected to the lattice units U arranged at both horizontal ends of the horizontal lattice fence 30. At the middle part of the horizontal lattice fence 30, the posts are connected to the ends of two lattice units U arranged in the middle part of the horizontal lattice fence 30.
[0055] 6, even when used in a horizontal lattice fence 30, the lattice unit U has a plurality of long lattice members 11 and a pair of end connection frames 12 connecting both longitudinal ends of the plurality of lattice members 11. The pair of end connection frames 12 are oriented in different directions but have the same cross-sectional shape.
[0056] A connection structure to the posts 31 arranged at both ends of the horizontal lattice fence 30 will be described. As shown in Fig. 12, at each of the horizontal ends of the horizontal lattice fence 30, the rear standing plate 132 of the end connection frame 12 of the lattice unit U is fixed to the post 31 by a screw 132a. When fixing the rear standing plate 132 to the post 31 by the screw 132a, a screwdriver (not shown) is passed through a through hole 134a formed in the front standing plate 134 of the end connection frame 12 to fix the rear standing plate 132 of the end connection frame 12 to the post 31. The through hole 134a is formed in a portion of the rear standing plate 132 corresponding to the position where it is fixed by the screw 132a.
[0057] The side covering materials 32 are attached to the end connection frame 12 at both lateral ends of the horizontal lattice fence 30 so as to cover the open portions of the C-shaped frames 13 of the end connection frame 12. The side covering materials 32 extend in the longitudinal direction of the lattice material 11. The side covering materials 32 are formed so that their cross-sectional shape is L-shaped, with the inner support pillar 21 side in the lateral direction of the lattice unit U being open.
[0058] As shown in Figure 12, the side cover material 32 has a side panel 321, a front side panel 322, a rear engagement protrusion 323 that protrudes inward from the rear side of the inner surface of the side panel 321, and a front engagement protrusion 324 that protrudes inward from the front side of the inner surface of the top panel 221.
[0059] The side plate 321 is formed in a flat shape, is disposed on the outer side of the end connection frame 12 in the longitudinal direction of the lattice material 11, and covers the side of the end connection frame 12. The front side plate 322 extends from the front end of the side plate 321 toward the inside in the lateral direction of the lattice unit U. The front side plate 322 covers the front side of the end connection frame 12. The front side plate 322 covers the through hole 134a of the front standing plate 134 of the end connection frame 12, through which the driver is passed.
[0060] The rear engagement protrusion 323 engages with the rear protruding piece 133 of the end connection frame 12 when the side cover material 32 is attached to the end connection frame 12. The front engagement protrusion 324 engages with the front protruding piece 135 of the end connection frame 12 when the side cover material 32 is attached to the end connection frame 12.
[0061] When attaching the side cover material 32 to the end connection frame 12, the rear engagement protrusion 323 is engaged with the rear protruding piece 133 of the end connection frame 12, and the front engagement protrusion 324 is engaged with the front protruding piece 135 of the end connection frame 12. In this manner, the side cover material 32 can be attached to the end connection frame 12. As a result, as shown in Fig. 12, the side cover material 32 can cover the open portion of the C-shaped frame 13 of the end connection frame 12 and the through hole 134a formed in the front standing plate 134. This improves the design.
[0062] A connection structure to a support 31 disposed in the horizontal middle portion of the horizontal lattice fence 30 will be described. As shown in Fig. 12, in the horizontal middle portion of the horizontal lattice fence 30, the rear standing plate 132 of the end connection frame 12 of adjacent lattice units U is fixed to the support 31 by a screw 132a. When fixing the rear standing plate 132 to the support 31 by the screw 132a, a screwdriver (not shown) is passed through a through hole 134a formed in the front standing plate 134 of the end connection frame 12 to fix the rear standing plate 132 of the end connection frame 12 to the support 31. The through hole 134a is formed in a portion of the rear standing plate 132 corresponding to the position where it is fixed by the screw 132a.
[0063] The intermediate connecting member 35 is disposed across the front side standing plates 134 of the end connection frames 12 of adjacent lattice units U. The intermediate connecting member 35 has a connecting plate portion 351 disposed along the front surface of the front side standing plates 134 of the end connection frames 12 of adjacent lattice units U, a pair of engagement pieces 352, and an intermediate protruding piece 353. The intermediate connecting member 35 is fixed to the front side standing plates 134 of the end connection frames 12 of each of the adjacent lattice units U with screws 35a. As a result, the adjacent lattice units U are connected by the intermediate connecting member 35.
[0064] The intermediate cover material 36 is attached to the front side of the intermediate connection member 35 so as to cover the intermediate connection member 35 and the screws 35a that fix the intermediate connection member 35. The intermediate cover material 36 has a U-shaped portion 361 formed with the lattice unit U side open, and a pair of engagement protrusions 362 that protrude inward in the lateral direction so as to close the open portion at both end sides of the U-shape. The pair of engagement protrusions 362 engage with the pair of engagement pieces 352 of the intermediate connection member 35, so that the intermediate cover material 36 is engaged with the intermediate connection member 35. As a result, as shown in FIG. 12, the intermediate cover material 36 can cover the screws 35a that fix the intermediate connection member 35 to the end connection frame 12. This improves the design.
[0065] At both lateral ends and the middle part of the horizontal lattice fence 30, the rear-side covering material 33 is disposed on the lateral end side of each lattice unit U. As shown in Fig. 12, the rear-side covering material 33 is attached to the connection extension plate 14 of the end connecting frame 12 fixed to the rear surface 11b of the lattice material 11 with screws 14a. The rear-side covering material 33 extends in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the lattice material 11. The rear-side covering material 33 is formed in a U-shape that is open on the lattice material 11 side.
[0066] A pair of engaging protrusions 331 that protrude toward the side that closes the U-shaped open portion of the rear cover material 33 are formed inside the rear cover material 33. When the rear cover material 33 is attached to the connecting extension plate 14 of the end connecting frame 12, the pair of engaging protrusions 331 are engaged with a pair of engaging pieces 141 of the connecting extension plate 14.
[0067] In this way, the rear cover material 33 can cover the head of the screw 14a disposed between a pair of engagement pieces 141, as shown in Fig. 12. This makes it possible to cover the head of the screw 14a on the rear surface 11b side of the lattice material 11, and therefore makes it possible to hide the head of the screw 14a from the gaps between the multiple lattice materials 11. This improves the design.
[0068] 13, the upper end covering material 34 is formed in an L-shape in plan view with the inside of the front lattice unit U being open. The upper end covering material 34 is attached to the end connection frame 12 to which the side covering materials 32 are attached and the longitudinal ends of the upper rear side covering material 23 so as to cover the longitudinal ends of the end connection frame 12 to which the side covering materials 32 are attached and the rear side covering material 33.
[0069] A construction method for assembling a horizontal lattice fence 30 will be described. The horizontal lattice fence 30 is configured to include a plurality of lattice units U. The lattice unit U has a plurality of lattice members 11 and a pair of end connection frames 12 that connect both ends of the plurality of lattice members 11 in the longitudinal direction. For example, in a factory, the lattice unit U is assembled by fixing the connection extension plates 14 of the end connection frames 12 to the back faces 11b of the plurality of lattice members 11 by screws 14a on both the upper and lower sides of the lattice members 11, as shown in FIG. 6.
[0070] When constructing the horizontal lattice fence 30 on-site, first, as shown in Fig. 12, the pair of engaging protrusions 231 of the rear cover material 33 are engaged with the pair of engaging pieces 141 of the connecting extension plate 14 of the end connection frame 12 at the rear surface 11b of the lattice unit U, thereby attaching the rear cover material 33 to the connecting extension plate 14 of the end connection frame 12. This allows the rear cover material 33 to cover the screws 14a that secure the connecting extension plate 14 of the end connection frame 12 to the rear surface 1c of the lattice material 11. The rear cover material 33 makes the screws 14a that secure the connecting extension plate 14 of the end connection frame 12 to the rear surface 1c of the lattice material 11 invisible, improving the design.
[0071] 12, the rear standing plate 132 of the end connection frame 12 is fixed to the support 31 by the screws 132a at both lateral ends of the lattice unit U. Here, the screws 132a are fixed by a driver (not shown) passed through the through holes 134a formed in the front standing plate 134 of the end connection frame 12.
[0072] Next, the side cover materials 32 are attached to the end connection frame 12 at both lateral ends of the horizontal lattice fence 30. This allows the side cover materials 32 to cover the open portion of the C-shaped frame 13 of the end connection frame 12 and the through hole 134a formed in the front standing plate 134, as shown in Figure 12.
[0073] Then, at the horizontal middle part of the horizontal lattice fence 30, the middle connecting member 35 is fixed with screws 35a to the front side standing plates 134 of the end connection frames 12 of each of the adjacent lattice units U. Next, the middle covering material 36 is attached to the front side of the middle connecting member 35. The middle covering material 36 can cover the screws 35a that fix the middle connecting member 35 to the end connection frame 12, thereby improving the design.
[0074] By constructing the horizontal lattice fence 30 in this manner, the screws 132a, 14a, and 35a are not exposed to the outside, as shown in FIG. 13, thereby improving the design.
[0075] In the lattice unit U configured in this manner, as shown in Fig. 12, the end connection frame 12 has a front side standing plate 134 at the horizontal end of the horizontal lattice fence 30, so that the end connection frame 12 has a thickness in the horizontal direction. As a result, the front side standing plate 134 of the end connection frame 12 can create a sense of thickness, as shown in Fig. 13. For example, even if the end connection frame 12 is formed from a metal shaped material such as aluminum material, by forming a wood grain pattern on the surface, for example, it is possible to give the impression that it is made of thick wood, improving the design.
[0076] Furthermore, in the lattice unit U, as shown in Fig. 12, by arranging the rear cover material 33 on the lateral inside of the lattice unit U of the end connection frame 12, the end connection frame 12 and the rear cover material 33 are formed into a thick L-shape as shown in Fig. 13. Then, the lateral end of the lattice material 11 is arranged in the open part of the thick L-shape formed by the end connection frame 12 and the rear cover material 33. As a result, as shown in Fig. 13, for example, even if the end connection frame 12 and the rear cover material 33 are formed from a metal shaped material such as an aluminum material, for example, by forming a wood grain pattern on the surface, the thick L-shaped part can be given the impression of being made of thick wood, improving the design.
[0077] According to this embodiment, the following effects are achieved. The lattice unit U of this embodiment has a plurality of elongated lattice members 11, and a pair of end connection frames 12 that extend in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the plurality of lattice members 11 at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the plurality of lattice members 11 and connect the plurality of lattice members 11, and the pair of end connection frames 12 each have a lattice end surface arrangement plate portion 131 that is arranged along an end surface 11c formed facing outward in the longitudinal direction at both ends of the plurality of lattice members 11 and extends in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the plurality of lattice members 11, and a rear side standing plate 132 that rises outward in the longitudinal direction of the lattice member 11 from the end of the lattice end surface arrangement plate portion 131 on the rear side in the depth direction of the lattice unit U.
[0078] Therefore, the lattice unit U can be used for both the vertical lattice fence 20 and the horizontal lattice fence 30. This allows the lattice unit U to be used for both the vertical lattice fence 20 and the horizontal lattice fence 30 without having to distinguish between their specifications. Therefore, by using the lattice unit U of this embodiment, it is possible to reduce manufacturing costs.
[0079] In this embodiment, the end connection frame 12 has a front side standing plate 134 that rises outward in the longitudinal direction of the lattice material 11 from the front end of the lattice unit U in the depth direction of the lattice end surface arrangement plate portion 131. This makes it possible to create a sense of thickness with the front side standing plate 134 of the end connection frame 12, and even if the end connection frame 12 is formed from a metal shaped material such as aluminum material, for example, by forming a wood grain pattern on the surface, it is possible to give the impression that it is made of thick wood, improving the design.
[0080] In this embodiment, the end connection frame 12 has a connection extension plate 14 that protrudes from the lattice end surface arrangement plate portion 131 toward the lattice material 11 and is arranged along the rear surface 11b on the rear side in the depth direction of the lattice unit U in the lattice material 11, and the connection extension plate 14 is fixed by screws 14a to the rear surface 11b on the rear side in the depth direction of the lattice unit U in the lattice material 11. This allows the end connection frame 12 to be fixed to the rear surface 11b of the lattice material 11 by screws 14a in a position that is not easily noticeable.
[0081] In this embodiment, there is provided an engagement piece 141 to which the upper rear side cover material 23 can be attached, which covers the screws 14a from the rear side 11b of the lattice unit U. This allows the cover materials (upper rear side cover material 23, rear side cover material 33) to be attached to the engagement piece 141. By attaching the cover materials (upper rear side cover material 23, rear side cover material 33) to the engagement piece 141, the screws 14a that fix the connection extension plate 14 of the end connection frame 12 to the rear side 1c of the lattice material 11 are not visible, improving the design.
[0082] The lattice fences 20, 30 of the present embodiment include supports 21, 31 to which the rear standing plate 132 of the lattice unit U is fixed. Thereby, by simply fixing the lattice unit U to the supports 21, 31, the lattice fences 20, 30 can be easily constructed.
[0083] In this embodiment, cover materials (upper rear-side cover material 23, rear-side cover material 33) are provided so as to cover the screws 14a from the rear surface 11b side of the lattice unit U and extend in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the lattice material 11. As a result, the cover materials (upper rear-side cover material 23, rear-side cover material 33) make the screws 14a that fix the connection extension plate 14 of the end connection frame 12 to the rear surface 1c of the lattice material 11 invisible, thereby improving the design.
[0084] The present disclosure is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and modifications and improvements within the scope of achieving the object of the present disclosure are included in the present disclosure. [Explanation of symbols]
