[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a foamable aerosol composition. More specifically, the present invention relates to a foamable aerosol composition that contains a large amount of an oily base, has excellent stability of the aerosol composition, and foamability of the discharged product, and is easy to obtain the effects of the oily base. [Background technology]

[0002] Conventionally, aerosol compositions that form foam-like discharges have been developed. Patent Document 1 discloses an oily foam aerosol composition that contains fats and oils, a polyoxyethylene-added nonionic surfactant, and an alkyl phosphoric acid derivative and / or a sulfosuccinate. Patent Document 2 discloses a foam aerosol composition that contains a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, an oily component, and water. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2004-75589 A [Patent Document 2] JP 2001-2526 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0004] However, the oily foam aerosol composition described in Patent Document 1 does not maintain a foamy state for a short time, and does not provide a stable discharge. In addition, the aerosol composition described in Patent Document 2 contains about half water, and is therefore difficult to mix with other oily ingredients such as those used to float dirt.

[0005] The present invention has been made in consideration of such conventional problems, and aims to provide a foamable aerosol composition which contains a large amount of oily base, has excellent aerosol composition stability and foamability of the ejected product, and makes it easier to obtain the effects of the oily base. [Means for solving the problem]

[0006] The present invention, which solves the above problems, mainly includes the following configurations.

[0007] (1) A foamable aerosol composition comprising an oily concentrate and a propellant, the oily concentrate containing an oily base and a surfactant, the oily base containing 70% by mass or more of a hydrocarbon oil in the oily base, and the surfactant containing a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB of 15 to 20 and a nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 10 or less.

[0008] According to this configuration, the foamable aerosol composition is composed of an oily concentrate and a propellant, the oily concentrate contains an oily base and a surfactant, and the oily base contains 70% by mass or more of a hydrocarbon oil in the oily base. Therefore, the foamable aerosol composition is likely to obtain the effects of the hydrocarbon oil, such as a cleaning effect for cleaning oily stains and a lubricating effect. In addition, the foamable aerosol composition contains a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB of 15 to 20 and a nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 10 or less. As a result, the foamable aerosol composition has excellent stability of the aerosol composition and foamability of the discharged product, is easily attached to the object to be sprayed, and is likely to obtain the effects of the hydrocarbon oil.

[0009] (2) The foamable aerosol composition according to (1), wherein the nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of 10 or less is at least one selected from the group consisting of polyglycerin fatty acid esters, polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil, polyoxyethylene alkyl ethers, polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene alkyl ethers, polyoxyethylene glycerin fatty acid esters, sorbitan fatty acid esters, and polyoxyethylene sorbit fatty acid esters.

[0010] According to such a configuration, the foamable aerosol composition can easily homogenize the oily base and the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB of 15 to 20, and the stability of the aerosol composition at low temperatures is superior, and the foamability of the discharged product is more stable.

[0011] (3) The foamable aerosol composition according to (1) or (2), wherein the content of the surfactant in the oil-based concentrate is 3 to 30% by mass.

[0012] According to such a configuration, the foamable aerosol composition tends to give a more stable foam.

[0013] (4) The foamable aerosol composition according to any one of (1) to (3), wherein the content ratio of the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether to the nonionic surfactant is 5:3 to 1:4.

[0014] According to such a constitution, the foamable aerosol composition tends to have a uniform composition and tends to foam more stably.

[0015] (5) The foamable aerosol composition according to any one of (1) to (4), wherein the propellant contains a compressed gas.

[0016] According to such a constitution, the foamable aerosol composition is less susceptible to the effects of temperature during use and can be easily discharged in a stable foam form. Effect of the Invention

[0017] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a foamable aerosol composition which contains a large amount of an oily base, has excellent stability of the aerosol composition, and foamability of the ejected product, and which is likely to provide the effects of the oily base. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0018] [Foamable aerosol composition] A foamable aerosol composition (hereinafter also referred to as an aerosol composition) according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises an oily concentrate and a propellant. The oily concentrate contains an oily base and a surfactant. The oily base contains 70% by mass or more of a hydrocarbon oil in the oily base, and the surfactant contains a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB of 15 to 20 and a nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 10 or less. Each of these will be described below.

[0019] (oily stock solution) The oil-based concentrate contains an oil base and a surfactant.

[0020] ·Oil-based The oily base is blended as a solvent for the aerosol composition to clean oily stains and provide a lubricating effect. The oily base contains 70% by mass or more of a hydrocarbon oil in the oily base. The oily base may contain other oily components in addition to the hydrocarbon oil. The other oily components are, for example, silicone, ester oil, oils and fats, higher fatty acids, waxes, higher alcohols, etc. The oily base does not contain water.

[0021] The hydrocarbon oil is not particularly limited. For example, the hydrocarbon oil may be a mixture of naphthenic hydrocarbons, normal paraffinic hydrocarbons, isoparaffinic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons, kerosene, mineral spirits, or the like, which is liquid at 25°C.

[0022] The silicone is not particularly limited, and examples of the silicone include dimethylpolysiloxane, methylphenylpolysiloxane, methylhydrogenpolysiloxane, decamethylpolysiloxane, and tetramethyltetrahydrogenpolysiloxane.

[0023] The ester oil is not particularly limited. Examples of the ester oil include isopropyl myristate, cetyl octanoate, octyldodecyl myristate, isopropyl palmitate, butyl stearate, myristyl myristate, decyl oleate, cetyl lactate, myristyl lactate, isocetyl stearate, isocetyl isostearate, lanolin acetate, ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, oleyl oleate, cetostearyl alcohol, diisobutyl adipate, diisopropyl sebacate, dioctyl sebacate, hexyldecyl myristate, isocetyl palmitate, and 2-hexyldecyl adipate.

[0024] The fats and oils are not particularly limited. Examples of fats and oils include avocado oil, camellia oil, turtle oil, macadamia nut oil, corn oil, mink oil, olive oil, rapeseed oil, sesame oil, castor oil, linseed oil, safflower oil, jojoba oil, malt oil, coconut oil, palm oil, and hydrogenated castor oil.

[0025] The higher fatty acid is not particularly limited. Examples of the higher fatty acid include lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, behenic acid, oleic acid, isostearic acid, linoleic acid, linoleic acid, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).

[0026] The wax is not particularly limited, and examples of the wax include beeswax, lanolin, lanolin acetate, candelilla wax, carnauba wax, spermaceti wax, and montan wax.

[0027] The higher alcohol is not particularly limited. For example, the higher alcohol may be a straight-chain alcohol such as lauryl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, behenyl alcohol, myristyl alcohol, or oleyl alcohol, or a branched-chain alcohol such as monostearyl glycerin ether, lanolin alcohol, hexyldodecanol, isostearyl alcohol, or octyldodecanol.

[0028] Among these, the oil base contains 70% by mass or more, preferably 75% by mass or more, of a hydrocarbon oil having no hydrophilic group such as a hydroxyl group or a carboxyl group. In addition, by containing 70% by mass or more of a hydrocarbon oil in the oil base, the aerosol composition is likely to obtain a cleaning effect and a lubricating effect due to the hydrocarbon oil. In addition, when the oil base is one having a flash point of 40°C or more and a compressed gas described later is used as a propellant, no flame is observed even if a fire is brought close to the discharged foam, so it is safe. Furthermore, it is preferable to contain a solid oil that is solid at 40°C as an oil component other than the hydrocarbon oil. By containing a solid oil, it is possible to improve the foamability at high temperatures. Examples of solid oils include higher fatty acids such as myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, and behenic acid, waxes such as beeswax, lanolin, lanolin acetate, candelilla wax, carnauba wax, spermaceti wax, and montan wax, and higher alcohols such as cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, behenyl alcohol, and myristyl alcohol.

[0029] The content of the oil base is not particularly limited. For example, the content of the oil base is preferably 60% by mass or more, more preferably 65% by mass or more, in the oil concentrate. The content of the oil base is preferably 95% by mass or less, more preferably 93% by mass or less, in the oil concentrate. By the content of the oil base being within the above range, the aerosol composition has excellent stability and also has excellent foaming properties of the discharged product.

[0030] Surfactants The aerosol composition of the present embodiment contains a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB of 15 to 20, and a nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 10 or less.

[0031] Polyoxyethylene alkyl ether with an HLB of 15 to 20 is blended in to form foam by expanding when discharged.

[0032] There is no particular limitation on the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB of 15 to 20. For example, the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB of 15 to 20 is polyoxyethylene lauryl ether such as laureth-21 and laureth-25; polyoxyethylene cetyl ether such as ceteth-15, ceteth-20, ceteth-23, ceteth-25, ceteth-30, and ceteth-40; polyoxyethylene stearyl ether such as steareth-20; polyoxyethylene oleyl ether such as oleth-15, oleth-20, and oleth-50; polyoxyethylene behenyl ether such as beheneth-20 and beheneth-30. Among these, the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB of 15 to 20 preferably contains polyoxyethylene lauryl ether in terms of foaming the oily base well.

[0033] The content of polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB of 15 to 20 is not particularly limited. For example, the content of polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB of 15 to 20 in the oil-based concentrate is preferably 1% by mass or more, more preferably 2% by mass or more. The content of polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB of 15 to 20 in the oil-based concentrate is preferably 15% by mass or less, more preferably 12% by mass or less. When the content of polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB of 15 to 20 is within the above range, the aerosol composition tends to foam when discharged.

[0034] The nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 10 or less is blended to homogenize the oil base and the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB of 15 to 20, thereby stabilizing the aerosol composition.

[0035] The nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 10 or less is not particularly limited. For example, the nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 10 or less is polyglycerin fatty acid ester, polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene alkyl ether, polyoxyethylene glycerin fatty acid ester, sorbitan fatty acid ester, polyoxyethylene sorbit fatty acid ester, propylene glycol fatty acid ester, glycerin fatty acid ester, polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester, polyoxyethylene sterol, polyethylene glycol fatty acid ester, etc. In particular, in order to promote homogenization of the oily base and polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB of 15 to 20 and to stabilize the aerosol composition even at low temperatures, it is preferable that the nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 10 or less includes at least one selected from the group consisting of polyglycerin fatty acid ester, polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene alkyl ether, polyoxyethylene glycerin fatty acid ester, sorbitan fatty acid ester, and polyoxyethylene sorbit fatty acid ester.

[0036] The content of the nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 10 or less is not particularly limited. For example, the content of the nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 10 or less is preferably 1% by mass or more, more preferably 2% by mass or more, in the oil-based concentrate. The content of the nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 10 or less is preferably 20% by mass or less, more preferably 15% by mass or less, in the oil-based concentrate. When the content of the nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 10 or less is within the above range, the obtained aerosol composition is easily homogenized between the oil base and the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB of 15 to 20, and a stable aerosol composition is easily obtained.

[0037] In the aerosol composition of the present embodiment, the content of the surfactant (the total of the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB of 15 to 20 and the nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 10 or less) in the oil-based concentrate is preferably 3% by mass or more, more preferably 4% by mass or more. In addition, the content of the surfactant (the total of the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB of 15 to 20 and the nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 10 or less) in the oil-based concentrate is preferably 30% by mass or less, more preferably 25% by mass or less. By having the content of the surfactant (the total of the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB of 15 to 20 and the nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 10 or less) within the above range, the aerosol composition has excellent stability and is likely to produce a more stable foam.

[0038] Furthermore, the ratio (mass ratio) of the contents of the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether and the nonionic surfactant is preferably 5:3 to 1:4, and more preferably 4:3 to 1:3. When the ratio (mass ratio) of the contents of the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether and the nonionic surfactant is within the above range, the aerosol composition tends to have a uniform composition and tends to foam more stably.

[0039] Returning to the explanation of the oil-based concentrate as a whole, the oil-based concentrate may contain, in addition to the above-mentioned oil base, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB of 15 to 20, and nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 10 or less, optional ingredients such as other surfactants other than those mentioned above, alcohols, non-aqueous thickeners, powders, and active ingredients depending on the application.

[0040] The surfactant (other surfactant) is suitably added for the purpose of improving foaming properties, stabilizing the aerosol composition, and the like.

[0041] The surfactant is not particularly limited. Examples of the surfactant include polyoxyethylene alkyl ethers having an HLB of 10 to 15, nonionic surfactants having an HLB of more than 10 (excluding polyoxyethylene alkyl ethers), anionic surfactants, cationic surfactants, amphoteric surfactants, silicone surfactants, and natural surfactants.

[0042] When a surfactant is blended, the content of the surfactant is not particularly limited. For example, the content of the surfactant in the oil-based concentrate is preferably 0.1% by mass or more, more preferably 0.5% by mass or more. The content of the surfactant in the oil-based concentrate is preferably 10% by mass or less, more preferably 8% by mass or less. By having the content of the surfactant within the above range, the above effects of blending the surfactant can be easily obtained.

[0043] Alcohols are preferably blended for the purpose of adjusting foaming properties and drying properties.

[0044] The alcohols are not particularly limited. For example, the alcohols include monohydric alcohols such as ethanol, propanol, isopropanol, isobutyl alcohol, and t-butyl alcohol, dihydric alcohols such as ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, and 1,3-butylene glycol, trihydric alcohols such as glycerin and trimethylolpropane, tetrahydric alcohols such as pentaerythritol, pentahydric alcohols such as xylitol, hexahydric alcohols such as sorbitol and mannitol, and polyhydric alcohol polymers such as diethylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, triethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, diglycerin, polyethylene glycol, and triglycerin.

[0045] When alcohols are blended, the content of the alcohols is not particularly limited. For example, the content of the alcohols in the oil-based concentrate is preferably 1% by mass or more, more preferably 3% by mass or more. The content of the alcohols in the oil-based concentrate is preferably 30% by mass or less, more preferably 25% by mass or less. By having the content of the alcohols within the above range, the foaming property and drying property of the discharged product of the aerosol composition can be easily adjusted appropriately.

[0046] The non-aqueous thickener is preferably blended for the purpose of adjusting the viscosity of the concentrate.

[0047] The non-aqueous thickener is not particularly limited. For example, the non-aqueous thickener is an aromatic hydrocarbon including aromatic vinyl monomers such as styrene, vinyl toluene, α-methylstyrene and methoxystyrene; an aliphatic hydrocarbon including aliphatic alkenes such as ethylene, propylene, butene, decene, isoprene, butylene, butadiene, pentadiene; an alkyl dimethicone, polysilicone, ester of higher fatty acid, etc.

[0048] When a non-aqueous thickener is blended, the content of the non-aqueous thickener is not particularly limited. For example, the content of the non-aqueous thickener in the oil-based concentrate is preferably 0.5% by mass or more, more preferably 1% by mass or more. The content of the non-aqueous thickener in the oil-based concentrate is preferably 5% by mass or less, more preferably 3% by mass or less. By having the content of the non-aqueous thickener within the above range, the viscosity of the oil-based concentrate in the aerosol composition is easily adjusted appropriately.

[0049] The powder is preferably blended for the purpose of improving the feeling of use, for example by improving the lubricity.

[0050] The powder is not particularly limited, and examples of the powder include talc, kaolin, mica, magnesium carbonate, calcium carbonate, zinc silicate, magnesium silicate, aluminum silicate, calcium silicate, silica, zeolite, ceramic powder, charcoal powder, nylon powder, silk powder, urethane powder, silicone powder, and polyethylene powder.

[0051] When powder is contained, the content of the powder is not particularly limited. For example, the content of the powder in the oil-based concentrate is preferably 0.1% by mass or more, more preferably 0.3% by mass or more. The content of the powder in the oil-based concentrate is preferably 5% by mass or less, more preferably 3% by mass or less. By having the content of the powder within the above range, the aerosol composition is likely to obtain the effect of containing the powder.

[0052] The oil-based concentrate of the present embodiment may further contain various active ingredients according to the purpose of the product. The active ingredients are not particularly limited. For example, the active ingredients include rust inhibitors, various flavorings such as natural flavorings and synthetic flavorings, and solid lubricants such as boron nitride, graphite, molybdenum disulfide, and talc.

[0053] When an active ingredient is blended, the content of the active ingredient is not particularly limited. For example, the content of the active ingredient in the oily concentrate is preferably 0.01% by mass or more, and more preferably 0.1% by mass or more. In addition, the content of the active ingredient in the oily concentrate is preferably 20% by mass or less, and more preferably 10% by mass or less.

[0054] Returning to the description of the oily concentrate as a whole, the content of the oily concentrate is not particularly limited. For example, the content of the oily concentrate in the aerosol composition is preferably 80% by mass or more, more preferably 85% by mass or more. The content of the oily concentrate in the aerosol composition is preferably 99.99% by mass or less, more preferably 99.9% by mass or less. By having the content of the oily concentrate within the above range, the aerosol composition is likely to form stable foam.

[0055] The method for preparing the oily concentrate is not particularly limited. The oily concentrate can be prepared by a conventionally known method. For example, the oily concentrate can be prepared by adding and mixing an oil base, a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB of 15 to 20, a nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 10 or less, and optional components.

[0056] (Propellant) The propellant is formulated to cause the aerosol composition to be expelled from the aerosol container in a foamed state.

[0057] The propellant preferably contains compressed gas. The compressed gas is partially dissolved in the oily concentrate in the aerosol container, and when discharged to the outside, it acts as a foaming agent that foams the oily concentrate. In addition, the compressed gas that is not dissolved in the oily concentrate acts as a pressurizing agent that is compressed in the gas phase and increases the pressure. In addition, by using compressed gas as a propellant, the aerosol composition is less susceptible to the temperature during use and is easily discharged in a stable foam form.

[0058] The compressed gas is not particularly limited. Examples of the compressed gas include carbon dioxide gas, nitrous oxide gas, nitrogen gas, compressed air, etc. Among these, the compressed gas is preferably carbon dioxide gas or nitrous oxide gas because it is easily dissolved in the oil-based concentrate.

[0059] The equilibrium pressure of the compressed gas is not particularly limited. For example, the compressed gas is filled into an aerosol container filled with an oily concentrate, and the equilibrium pressure in the aerosol container at 25°C is preferably 0.4 MPa or more, more preferably 0.5 MPa or more. The equilibrium pressure in the aerosol container at 25°C is preferably 0.8 MPa or less, more preferably 0.7 MPa or less. The content of the compressed gas in the aerosol composition is preferably 1% by mass or more, more preferably 2% by mass or more. The content of the compressed gas in the aerosol composition is preferably 10% by mass or less, more preferably 8% by mass or less.

[0060] The propellant may be blended with a liquefied gas to adjust foaming properties. The liquefied gas is not particularly limited. For example, the liquefied gas may be normal butane, isobutane, propane, or a mixture thereof, such as liquefied petroleum gas, dimethyl ether, or hydrofluoroolefin. The liquefied gas may be used in combination. Among these, the liquefied gas is preferably normal butane, isobutane, propane, or a mixture thereof, in that it is easy to form a more stable aerosol composition.

[0061] The content of the liquefied gas is not particularly limited. For example, the content of the liquefied gas in the aerosol composition is preferably 1% by mass or more, more preferably 3% by mass or more. The content of the liquefied gas in the aerosol composition is preferably 20% by mass or less, more preferably 15% by mass or less. By having the content of the liquefied gas within the above range, the aerosol composition is likely to foam the oily concentrate to form a foam.

[0062] Returning to the explanation of the aerosol composition as a whole, the method for preparing the aerosol composition is not particularly limited. For example, the aerosol composition can be prepared by filling a concentrate into a pressure-resistant container body, attaching a valve to the container body to make an aerosol container, filling a propellant through the valve, and mixing the concentrate and the propellant.

[0063] The container body is a pressure-resistant container for filling the aerosol composition under pressure. The container body may have a general-purpose shape. For example, the container body is a bottomed cylindrical shape having an opening at the top. The opening is a filling port for filling the concentrate. The container body becomes a discharge container by attaching a valve to the opening and closing it.

[0064] The material of the container body is not particularly limited. The container body only needs to have a pressure resistance to the extent that the aerosol composition can be filled under pressure. Such materials include metals such as aluminum and tinplate, synthetic resins such as polyethylene terephthalate, and pressure-resistant glass.

[0065] As described above, according to this embodiment, the aerosol composition is composed of an oily concentrate and a propellant, the oily concentrate contains an oily base and a surfactant, and the oily base contains 70% by mass or more of a hydrocarbon oil in the oily base. Therefore, the foamable aerosol composition is likely to obtain the effects of the hydrocarbon oil, such as a cleaning effect for cleaning oily dirt and a lubricating effect. In addition, the foamable aerosol composition contains a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB of 15 to 20 and a nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 10 or less. As a result, the foamable aerosol composition has excellent composition stability and foaming of the discharged product, is easily attached to the object to be sprayed, and is likely to obtain the effects of the hydrocarbon oil. Therefore, the foamable aerosol composition can be suitably used as a cleaning agent such as a brake cleaner or a parts cleaner, or as a lubricant. EXAMPLES
