[0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2019-154115 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] In Patent Document 1, the point of configuring the rotating electric machine compactly is not sufficiently considered.
[0005] Therefore, a primary object of the present invention is to provide a motor unit that can be configured compactly. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] According to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a motor unit comprising: a case including a stator housing, a first motor cover provided at an output end of the stator housing, and a second motor cover provided at an anti-output end of the stator housing; a rotor having a rotor shaft and provided within the case; a stator having a stator core provided radially outward of the rotor and a stator coil provided in the stator core, and provided within the case; and an oil filter provided on the outer surface of the first motor cover to purify oil to be supplied into the case, wherein at least a portion of the lower half of the oil filter overlaps with the upper half of the stator core when viewed in the axial direction of the rotor shaft.
[0007] In this invention, the oil filter is provided on the outer surface of the first motor cover so that at least a portion of the lower half of the oil filter overlaps with the upper half of the stator core when viewed in the axial direction of the rotor shaft. This allows the oil filter to be provided on the first motor cover at a position shifted upward from the center of the stator core, that is, by utilizing an empty space that does not interfere with other components. This allows the motor unit to be configured compactly.
[0008] Preferably, the motor unit further includes a reducer having an oil reservoir that receives oil from the case and that is provided on the side of the first motor cover to reduce the rotation of the rotor, and an oil pump provided on the outer surface of the reducer to discharge the oil in the oil reservoir to the outside. In this case, the oil pump for discharging the oil in the oil reservoir of the reducer to the outside is provided on the outer surface of the reducer, so that the motor unit including the oil pump can be configured compactly.
[0009] Preferably, the reducer further includes an output shaft arranged parallel to the rotor shaft, and if a line segment connecting the center of the rotor shaft and the center of the output shaft is defined as a reference line, a perpendicular line perpendicular to the reference line and passing through the center of the rotor shaft is defined as a first perpendicular line, and a perpendicular line perpendicular to the reference line and passing through the center of the output shaft is defined as a second perpendicular line, at least a portion of the oil filter overlaps with a region surrounded by the reference line, the first perpendicular line, and the second perpendicular line when viewed from the axial direction of the rotor shaft. In this case, the region surrounded by the reference line, the first perpendicular line, and the second perpendicular line when viewed from the axial direction of the rotor shaft is likely to be an empty space. Therefore, by providing the oil filter so that at least a portion of the oil filter overlaps with this region, it is possible to effectively utilize the empty space without interfering with other members, and to configure the motor unit compactly.
[0010] More preferably, the oil filter is located above the output shaft. In this case, the oil filter does not interfere with the output from the output shaft of the reducer, and the motor unit can be configured compactly.
[0011] Preferably, the oil filter is located above the rotor shaft, which allows the motor unit to be made compact without interfering with the output from the rotor shaft of the rotor.
[0012] Preferably, the center of the oil filter is located above the outer circumferential surface of the stator coil, so that the oil can easily drip onto the stator coil inside the case via the oil filter.
[0013] More preferably, the motor unit further includes an external pipe having an outward oil passage for supplying oil that has passed through the oil filter into the case, the external pipe being provided on the outside of the stator housing and held by the first motor cover and the second motor cover, and at least a portion of the oil filter overlaps with the external pipe as viewed in the axial direction of the rotor shaft. In this case, the outside of the stator housing where the external pipe is provided and its vicinity tend to be empty space. Therefore, by providing the oil filter so that at least a portion of the oil filter overlaps with the external pipe as viewed in the axial direction of the rotor shaft, it is possible to effectively utilize the empty space without interfering with other components, and to configure the motor unit compactly.
[0014] Preferably, the oil filter has an oil outlet at its end on the first motor cover side, and the first motor cover has an oil passage for communicating the oil outlet with the outgoing oil passage of the external pipe. In this case, oil can be smoothly supplied from the oil outlet provided at the end of the oil filter on the first motor cover side to the outgoing oil passage of the external pipe via the oil passage of the first motor cover.
[0015] In the present invention, the "output side end portion of the stator housing" refers to the axial end portion of the stator housing from which the motor output is taken out.
[0016] The "anti-output end of the stator housing" refers to the axial end of the stator housing on the side from which the motor output is not taken out (the opposite side to the output end). Effect of the Invention
[0017] According to the present invention, a motor unit that can be configured compactly can be obtained. [Brief description of the drawings]

The oil filter 100 and the first motor cover 22 are connected by a union bolt 102. The union bolt 102 is attached to the inlet end of an oil passage 134 (described later) of the first motor cover 22, and is inserted into the oil outlet 100a of the oil filter 100.
[0030] 3, at least a part of the lower half of the oil filter 100 overlaps with the upper half of the stator core 62 as viewed in the axial direction of the rotor shaft 46. The oil filter 100 is located above the rotor shaft 46 and the output shaft 114 (described later). The center C of the oil filter 100 is located above the outer circumferential surface of the stator coil 64. At least a part of the oil filter 100 overlaps with the first external pipe 32 as viewed in the axial direction of the rotor shaft 46. Preferably, when a cylindrical filter is used as the oil filter 100, the oil discharge port 100a is located at the center of the oil filter 100, and the center of the oil filter 100 is located above the output shaft 114 and above the rotor shaft 46. In this case, the arrangement of the oil filter 100 becomes compact and the oil passage can be appropriately designed.
[0031] The reducer 14 is provided on the side (left side in this embodiment) of the first motor cover 22 to reduce the rotation of the rotor. The reducer 14 includes a gear cover 104 provided on the side of the first motor cover 22. With reference to Figs. 3 and 5, an input gear 106, an intermediate shaft 108, intermediate gears 110 and 112, an output shaft 114, and an output gear 116 are provided in the gear cover 104. The intermediate shaft 108 and the output shaft 114 are provided in parallel with the rotor shaft 46. The input gear 106 is attached to the tip of the rotor shaft 46 and is rotatably supported by the first motor cover 22 and the gear cover 104 via input gear bearings 118 and 120. The intermediate shaft 108 is rotatably supported by the first motor cover 22 and the gear cover 104 via intermediate gear bearings 122 and 124. The intermediate gears 110 and 112 are both attached to the intermediate shaft 108, the intermediate gear 110 meshing with the input gear 106, and the intermediate gear 112 meshing with the output gear 116. The output shaft 114 is rotatably supported by the first motor cover 22 and the gear cover 104 via a bearing (not shown). The output gear 116 is attached to the output shaft 114. If a line segment connecting the center of the rotor shaft 46 and the center of the output shaft 114 is defined as a reference line B, a perpendicular line perpendicular to the reference line B and passing through the center of the rotor shaft 46 is defined as a first perpendicular line V1, and a perpendicular line perpendicular to the reference line B and passing through the center of the output shaft 114 is defined as a second perpendicular line V2, at least a portion of the oil filter 100 overlaps with a region surrounded by the reference line B, the first perpendicular line V1, and the second perpendicular line V2 when viewed from the axial direction of the rotor shaft 46. By covering the outer surface of the first motor cover 22 with the gear cover 104, an oil reservoir 126 that communicates with the return oil passage 38 is formed. In other words, the oil reservoir 126 is formed inside the reducer 14. An oil strainer 126a is provided in the oil reservoir 126, and the oil from the case 18 and the oil from the gear cover 104 are stored in the oil reservoir 126.
[0032] The gear cover 104 is provided with two oil level gauges 128 for detecting the amount of oil in the oil reservoir 126. The gear cover 104 is also provided with two oil pumps 130 for supplying the oil in the oil reservoir 126 to an external oil cooler 158. That is, the two oil pumps 130 are provided on the outer surface of the reducer 14 for discharging the oil to the outside.
[0033] The inverter 16 is connected to a battery (not shown) via a connection terminal 132 , converts direct current from the battery into alternating current, and supplies the alternating current to the motor 12 .
[0034] In such a motor unit 10, oil passages are formed as follows.
[0035] 5 and 7, the first motor cover 22 has an oil passage 134 that communicates with the outward oil passage 34 to supply oil from the oil filter 100 to the outward oil passage 34, and oil passages 136, 138, and 140 that branch off from the oil passage 134. The oil passage 134 communicates the oil outlet 100a of the oil filter 100 with the outward oil passage 34 of the first external pipe 32. The oil passage 136 communicates with an oil passage 142 in the reducer 14, and oil is supplied to the input gear bearing 120. The oil from the oil passage 138 is supplied to the motor bearing 42 and the input gear bearing 118, and the oil from the oil passage 140 is supplied to the coil end of the stator coil 64. In this way, the oil is supplied into the case 18 via the oil passages 138 and 140. The oil from the oil passage 134 is supplied to the second motor cover 24 through the outward oil passage 34.
[0036] The second motor cover 24 has oil passages 144, 146, and 148. The oil supplied to the second motor cover 24 through the forward oil passage 34 is branched by the branching member 30, supplied to the coil end of the stator coil 64 through the oil passage 144, and supplied toward the cover 90 through the oil passage 146. The cover 90 has an oil passage 150. The oil passage 150 can communicate with the oil passages 146 and 148. That is, the oil passage 146 and the oil passage 150 communicate with each other through the through hole 94 of the gasket 92, and the oil passage 150 and the oil passage 148 communicate with each other through the through hole 96 of the gasket 92. Therefore, the oil passages 146 and 148 of the second motor cover 24 communicate with each other through the oil passage 150 of the cover 90, and the oil from the oil passage 146 is supplied to the motor bearing 44 and its vicinity through the oil passages 150 and 148. Furthermore, oil passage 150 is connected to oil passage 152 which passes through pipe 98, hollow portion 50 of rotor shaft 46, and rotor core hole 52 to the coil end of stator coil 64. Thus, oil from oil passage 150 is supplied to the coil end of stator coil 64 through oil passage 152. In this manner, oil from outward oil passage 34 is supplied into case 18 through second motor cover 24 and cover 90.
[0037] The oil supplied to the coil ends of the stator coil 64 is supplied to the oil sump 126 via the oil passage 154 and the return oil passage 38 or via the oil passage 156 of the first motor cover 22. The oil in the oil sump 126 is sucked up by the two oil pumps 130 through the oil strainer 126a and supplied to the oil cooler 158. The oil is cooled by the oil cooler 158 and then returned to the oil filter 100.
[0038] In this embodiment, the first external pipe 32 corresponds to the external pipe.
[0039] According to this motor unit 10, the oil filter 100 is provided on the outer surface of the first motor cover 22 so that at least a portion of the lower half of the oil filter 100 overlaps with the upper half of the stator core 62 when viewed in the axial direction of the rotor shaft 46. This allows the oil filter 100 to be provided on the first motor cover 22 at a position shifted upward from the center of the stator core 62, that is, by utilizing free space that does not interfere with other components. This allows the motor unit 10 to be configured compactly.
[0040] Since the oil pump 130 for discharging the oil in the oil reservoir 126 of the reducer 14 to the outside is provided on the outer surface of the reducer 14, the motor unit 10 including the oil pump 130 can be configured compactly.
[0041] When viewed in the axial direction of the rotor shaft 46, the area surrounded by the reference line B, the first perpendicular line V1, and the second perpendicular line V2 tends to be empty space. Therefore, by providing the oil filter 100 so that at least a portion of the oil filter 100 overlaps with this area, the empty space can be effectively utilized without interfering with other components, and the motor unit 10 can be configured compactly.
[0042] Since the oil filter 100 is positioned above the output shaft 114, it does not interfere with the output from the output shaft 114 of the reducer 14, and the motor unit 10 can be configured compactly.
[0043] Since the oil filter 100 is positioned above the rotor shaft 46, it does not interfere with the output from the rotor shaft 46 of the rotor 40, and the motor unit 10 can be configured compactly.
[0044] Since the center C of the oil filter 100 is located above the outer circumferential surface of the stator coil 64 , the oil can easily drip through the oil filter 100 onto the stator coil 62 inside the case 18 .
[0045] The outside of the stator housing 20 where the first external pipe 32 is provided and its vicinity tend to be empty spaces. Therefore, by providing the oil filter 100 so that at least a portion of the oil filter 100 overlaps with the first external pipe 32 when viewed in the axial direction of the rotor shaft 46, the empty space can be effectively utilized without interfering with other components, and the motor unit 10 can be configured compactly.
[0046] Oil can be smoothly supplied from the oil outlet 100 a provided at the end of the oil filter 100 on the first motor cover 22 side through the oil passage 134 of the first motor cover 22 to the outgoing oil passage 34 of the first external pipe 32 .
[0047] Although the preferred embodiment of the present invention has been described above, it will be apparent that various modifications can be made without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention, which is limited only by the appended claims. [Explanation of symbols]
