DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0012] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In this specification and the drawings, components having substantially the same functional configurations are denoted by the same reference numerals, and redundant description will be omitted.
[0013] Fig. 1 shows an example of an information processing device 1 constituting a workplace planning system capable of executing the workplace planning method of this embodiment. Fig. 1 is a block diagram showing the functional configuration of the information processing device 1. The information processing device 1 is a device used by a system administrator or the like when operating and managing various services, and may be, for example, a general-purpose computer such as a workstation or a personal computer, or may be logically realized by cloud computing technology.
[0014] The information processing device 1 has a control unit 11, a storage unit 12, an input unit 13, an output unit 14, and a communication unit 15. When the information processing device 1 receives various commands (requests) from the input unit 13, the control unit 11 executes processing according to a program, and the processing result of the program (for example, an image, a sound, etc.) is sent to the output unit 14. Alternatively, the information processing device 1 receives various commands (requests) from another information processing device or the like via the communication unit 15, and transmits the processing result of the program executed by the control unit 11 to the other information processing device or the like. Note that a part of the program may be transmitted to the other information processing device and executed on the other information processing device. In this case, the other information processing device (user terminal 2) may be, for example, a smartphone, a mobile phone terminal, a tablet terminal, a personal computer, etc., and is connected wirelessly or wired to the information processing device 1 via a network such as the Internet.
[0015] The control unit 11 transfers data between each unit and controls the entire game server 1, and is realized, for example, by a CPU (Central Processing Unit), an MPU (Micro Processing Unit), or a GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) executing a program stored in a predetermined memory. The control unit 11 in this embodiment includes at least a requirement receiving unit 111 and a proposal generating unit 112.
[0016] The requirement receiving unit 111 receives input of requirements for a workplace plan related to information in at least one of four categories consisting of activity information, space information, taste information, and budget information. The requirements are input based on the user's operation of the input unit 13 or the operation of another information processing device (user terminal 2) via the communication unit 15.
[0017] The input requirements may be only one of the activity information, space information, taste information, and budget information, any two or three of them, or all of them. Note that the activity information, space information, taste information, and budget information may each include multiple data, and the input requirements may be only a part of the multiple data.
[0018] Furthermore, when the user inputs requirements, the user may select and input the desired requirement from options pre-set in the information processing device 1, or there may be no such options and the user may input any characters, numbers, etc.
[0019] Here, FIG. 3 illustrates a schematic example of the relationship between activity information, space information, taste information, and budget information.
[0020] Activity information includes data on employee activities in the office. Specifically, activity information can include data on area type, telework rate, utilization rate (actual utilization rate and expected utilization rate), exclusive or shared, user profile (gender, age, nationality), etc. Activity information can be used as an item to consider and define the "activities (work scenes)" of people that you want to generate in the workplace. Specifically, activities can be classified by the number of people (1-2 people, 3 or more people) and whether the space is open or closed. In addition to the traditional open space with private desks, in recent years, more and more offices are introducing activities performed by one person in a closed space (high concentration (individual work that requires a high level of concentration that is not interrupted), telephone / web conferences (physically performed by one person, virtual collaboration)), activities performed by two people (two people working side by side at close range and working carefully), and dialogue (discussion or conversation between two or three people)). In addition to traditional meetings held in closed spaces, activities can also be activities carried out by three people in an open space (idea generation (collaborative activity of three or more people to build new knowledge or processes), information organization (planned meeting of three or more people to organize and discuss the progress of a plan), knowledge sharing (knowledge sharing by a group of three or more people)), and others (recharge (separating from work to recharge or refresh the mind and body), specialized work (specialized work that requires special equipment)). The activity information may also include data obtained based on footage captured by video cameras or other devices installed in the office.
[0021] The space information may be information on a virtual space including drawing data of an office. The drawing data includes not only two-dimensional planar data but also three-dimensional data. Specifically, the space information may be information on a space constructed with 3D data. For example, the information may include data on the floor area of the office [m^2], the spatial volume (volume) of the office [m^3], the number of seats, the number of rooms, the number of file meters (fm), the floor area per person [m^2], the floor area per seat [m^2], the number of fm per person, the ceiling height of the office, and the like. The control unit 11 may generate data on a basic drawing set such as a plan and an elevation depending on how the 3D data included in the space information is cut out.
[0022] The taste information includes interior data or furniture data of the office. Specifically, the taste information can include data on, for example, 3x3x3 matrix analysis data (overall taste data, individual taste data), interior material image (image, actual sample), furniture material image (image, actual sample), interior image CG, decoration (object, art), etc. The taste information can be items for considering the overall tone of the space, the color, material, and product number of FFE (Furniture, Furnishings, and Equipment).
[0023] Furthermore, the budget information is information that includes budget data related to the office. Specifically, the budget information can include data related to, for example, the planned budget amount, the estimated initial budget (interior construction costs, furniture purchasing costs, moving costs), expense / asset classification, the estimated running budget (rent, security, cleaning, planting, employee welfare services), the amount per person of each type of budget, etc. The budget information can be used as an item for considering the costs involved in building a workplace. According to the budget information, it is possible to visualize how much will be spent on what.
[0024] The proposal generating unit 112 generates proposal information based on the input requirements. When the proposal generating unit 112 generates proposal information, it selects and acquires information associated with the input requirements from the information stored in the storage unit 12 in accordance with the input requirements, and appropriately combines the information to generate proposal information. Specifically, for example, when specific data included in the activity information is input as a requirement for a workplace plan, each data included in the space information, taste information, and budget information linked to the data is output as proposal information. Alternatively, for example, a requirement of a floor plan that allows for social distancing in the space information is linked to the work scene in the activity information, the color tone in the taste information, and the budget in the budget information.
[0025] The proposed information is output in the form of, for example, text, image, audio, video, etc. The proposed information may be only information of the type other than the information of the requirement whose input was accepted, among activity information, space information, taste information, and budget information. In other words, for example, if the requirement whose input was accepted is related to activity information, the proposed information includes information other than the activity information, that is, any or all of space information, taste information, and budget information. Also, for example, if the requirement whose input was accepted is related to activity information and space information, the proposed information includes information other than the activity information and space information, that is, any or both of taste information and budget information. The proposed information may include information (data) related to the information of the requirement whose input was accepted.
[0026] The storage unit 12 stores activity information including data on employee activities in the office, space information including office drawing data, taste information including interior design data or furniture data of the office, and budget information including budget data related to the office. The activity information, space information, taste information, and budget information are managed in association with each other. That is, for example, the activity information is managed in association with the space information, taste information, and budget information. More specifically, for example, the work scene in the activity information, the color tone in the taste information, and the budget in the budget information are managed so as to be linked to the requirement of a floor plan with social distancing in the space information.
[0027] It is preferable that the four categories of information consisting of activity information, space information, taste information, and budget information are managed in mutual association with the other three categories of information.
[0028] The activity information, taste information, and budget information are stored and managed in a virtual space constructed within the space information. The virtual space is, for example, a virtual three-dimensional space that imitates an office. Requirements that fall into any of the four categories are finally entered in association with the space information after appropriate information processing, and when the proposal information is output, the various data stored in the space information are also processed before being output as activity information, taste information, and budget information.
[0029] The input unit 13 allows a user or system administrator to input various data related to workplace planning (e.g., activity information, space information, taste information, budget information, requirements, etc.), and is realized by, for example, a keyboard, a mouse, a touch panel, etc.
[0030] The output unit 14 can output the proposal information generated by the proposal generation unit 112. The output unit 14 can be, for example, a liquid crystal display (LCD), a touch panel, or the like, and can display the proposal information based on a command from the control unit 11. Alternatively, the output unit 14 may output (transmit) the proposal information to another information processing device (user terminal 2) or the like via the communication unit 15. The output unit 14 can also display an operation screen (including a requirement input screen and a proposal information display screen).
[0031] The communication unit 15 is for communicating with other information processing devices, and has a function as a receiver that receives various data and signals transmitted from other information processing devices, etc., and a function as a transmitter that transmits various data and signals to other information processing devices, etc. in response to commands from the control unit 11. The communication unit 15 is realized by, for example, a NIC (Network Internet Card) or the like.
[0032] An example of a procedure for executing a workplace planning method using this system will be described below. Fig. 2 is a flow diagram illustrating an example of a series of processes executed in this system.
[0033] First, an administrator of the present system performs a storage process to store activity information, space information, taste information, and budget information in the storage unit 12 of the information processing device 1 (step S101). The activity information, space information, taste information, and budget information are managed in association with each other.
[0034] Next, the user inputs requirements for the workplace plan related to at least one of activity information, space information, taste information, and budget information (step S102). The requirements are input based on the user's operation of the input unit 13 or the operation of another information processing device (user terminal 2) via the communication unit 15.
[0035] The requirement receiving unit 111 of the information processing device 1 executes a requirement receiving process for receiving input of requirements for the workplace plan (step S103).
[0036] Next, the proposal generator 112 of the information processing device 1 executes a proposal generation process for generating proposal information based on the input requirements (step S104).
[0037] Then, the output unit 14 of the information processing device 1 executes an output process to output the proposal information generated by the proposal generation unit 112 (step S105). For example, the output process causes the proposal information to be displayed on a liquid crystal display of the output unit 14 of the information processing device 1. Alternatively, the proposal information is transmitted from the information processing device 1 to the user terminal 2 via the communication unit 15.
[0038] In this way, the user can check the proposed information displayed on the liquid crystal display of the output unit 14 of the information processing device 1 or the proposed information displayed on the screen of the user terminal 2 (step S106).
[0039] 4, 5, and 6 each show an example of the relationship between the input requirements and the output proposal information.
[0040] Figure 4 is an example of a workplace plan with the theme of "Measures for living with COVID-19." "Measures for living with COVID-19" can be measures that take into account new strategies and lifestyles that assume that COVID-19 will be difficult to eradicate (at least in the short term).
[0041] In the example shown in Fig. 4, space information is selected as a requirement to be input by the user. In this example, the space information includes the requirement "I want an office that ensures social distancing (e.g., 2m) between employees" and the requirement "I want a phone booth in the office where I can hold WebMTG (remote meetings)."
[0042] In the example shown in FIG. 4, the proposed information generated and output by the information processing device 1 includes activity information, taste information, and budget information in addition to space information. The activity information presents multiple patterns such as the distance between employees, seat space per person, and expected attendance rate. The activity information is generated by simulation, etc. The taste information can include data on design that takes into account external effects. Furthermore, the budget information can include data on rent per person and running costs after the relocation in addition to displaying an estimated cost. The proposed information can simultaneously calculate information necessary for decision-making such as the above.
[0043] Figure 5 is an example of a workplace plan with the theme of "motivating people to visit the office." "Motivating people to visit the office" can be a measure to encourage people to come to the office.
[0044] In the example shown in Fig. 5, activity information is selected as the requirement to be input by the user. In this example, the activity information includes the requirement "We want to hold discussions in a real place (not remotely)" and the requirement "We want to have a cafe as part of employee benefits."
[0045] In the example shown in FIG. 5, the proposed information generated and output by the information processing device 1 includes, in addition to the activity information, space information, taste information, and budget information. The space information as the proposed information can include a plurality of specific spatial layouts that reduce real estate costs by half. The taste information includes data on furniture and interior design. In this case, information from questionnaires and interviews conducted before the start of the project may be referenced as input. The budget information can include information on the initial cost, running cost, and return on investment. The initial cost and running cost can be changed and reviewed as appropriate. The return on investment can be calculated by the information processing device 1, etc., based on the input information.
[0046] Figure 6 is an example of a workplace plan with the theme of "reviewing real estate costs." "Reviewing real estate costs" can refer to measures to reduce expenses related to office rent, facility usage fees, etc.
[0047] In the example shown in Fig. 6, budget information is selected as a requirement to be input by the user. In this example, the budget information is a requirement that "real estate costs should be reduced by half."
[0048] In the example shown in Fig. 6, the proposed information generated and output by the information processing device 1 includes activity information, space information, and taste information in addition to budget information. The activity information as the proposed information includes data calculated from the current seat occupancy rate and the expected telework rate on the number of seats required per person and the required activity. The taste information includes data on the quality of furniture and interior design. Furthermore, the space information can include data on multiple specific spatial layouts for reducing real estate costs by half.
[0049] FIG. 7 shows an example of data related to activity information and space information. In the example of FIG. 7, the office space is divided into four spaces. The four spaces are a "private desk work area" where one or two people work in an open space, a "focus area" where one or two people work in a closed space, a "gathering area" where two or more people work in an open space, and a "MTG room area" where two or more people work in a closed space. The "gathering area" is assumed to be an open and free space (place) where multiple people can share information, organize events, and exchange ideas. By adding such a "gathering area" to the office space, new value that was not available before can be added to the workplace.
[0050] Figure 8 shows examples of activities (work scenes) in the office of employees associated with the "Focus Area," "Gathering Area," "Private Desk Work Area," and "Meeting Room Area" in Figure 7. Assumed work scenes in the "Focus Area" include, for example, individual concentrated work, remote conference with one person, telephone booth, two people side by side (two people working side by side), two people facing each other (two people working face to face), etc. Assumed work scenes in the "Gathering Area" include Discus (open meetings with multiple people), Brainstorming (idea generation with multiple people), Touch-Based (small discussions, sharing, and organization work with multiple people), Quick (short discussions and information sharing with multiple people), Relax (changing the mood and relaxing on a sofa, etc.), Presentation (presentations and information sharing using a screen or large monitor), Events (irregular or regular events), etc. Potential work scenarios in the "Private Desk Work Area" include private, free address, and height-adjustable desks, while potential work scenarios in the "Meeting Room Area" include meetings, presentations, conferences, school, projects, brainstorming, and receptions.
[0051] Fig. 9 shows an example of taste information that can be used as proposal information. The taste information includes data on brightness, saturation, and hue. In the example shown in Fig. 9, the taste information is managed in a 3x3x3 matrix by combinations of brightness, saturation, and hue, and the optimal plan can be selected and output according to requirements related to the corporate image and the desired atmosphere of the office.
[0052] FIG. 10 shows an example of taste information that can be used as the proposed information. As shown in FIG. 10, the proposed information may be configured to present multiple proposals. The proposed information may include a reference image and explanatory text. As shown in FIG. 11, the proposed information may be configured to output nine proposals consisting of 3×3, with the degree of monochrome and vividness on the horizontal axis and the degree of dark tone and high tone on the vertical axis. The taste information is associated with an overall image and a point. For example, in FIG. 11, the proposed information with the highest degree of monochrome and high tone is associated with data of "refreshing x refinement" as an overall image and data of "mix of different materials with texture" and "tiles and fabrics with soft patterns" as points. In addition, image images of furniture and interiors are also associated with these data.
[0053] FIG. 12 shows another example of taste information that can be used as proposal information. The example shown in FIG. 12 includes data on the shape of the office in a plan view and the layout of furniture such as chairs selected from the furniture list. In addition, data indicating the color, design, etc. of the chairs can also be included in the drawing data of the office layout. The furniture plot shown in FIG. 12 is drawing data indicating which furniture is to be placed in which position in the office, and the type of furniture is displayed so that it can be distinguished by color. In addition, as shown in FIG. 12, the list of furniture may include data such as the furniture name, exterior photo, various information (dimensions, finish, options, gross price, delivery date, remarks), a breakdown of the number of pieces by area (each area in the office), the subtotal number of pieces on each floor, and the total number.
[0054] As described above, the workplace planning method of this embodiment is configured to store four categories of information consisting of activity information including data on employee activities in the office, space information including office drawing data, taste information including office interior data or furniture data, and budget information including budget data related to the office, accept input of workplace planning requirements related to information in at least one of the categories of activity information, space information, taste information, and budget information, generate proposed information based on the requirements, and output the proposed information.
[0055] This configuration enables workplace planning based on four categories of information: activity information including data on employee activities in the office, space information including office drawing data, taste information including office interior data or furniture data, and budget information including office budget data. Therefore, the workplace planning method of this embodiment makes it possible to grasp requests from a more multifaceted perspective and support appropriate workplace planning with high accuracy.
[0056] In this embodiment, there may be required input items that must be input when inputting the requirements for the workplace plan. With such a configuration, it is possible to support appropriate workplace planning with higher accuracy. For example, activity information may be a required input item, or only specific data included in the activity information may be a required input item. The required input items may be, for example, data on activities (work scenes) included in the activity information, data on area (e.g., the floor area of the entire office) included in the space information, and a part or all of the planned budget amount included in the budget information.
[0057] In addition, in this embodiment, after the proposed information corresponding to the first input requirement is output, further additional (second) requirements may be input. In this case, according to the workplace planning method of this embodiment, the proposed information considering both the first input requirement and the second input requirement is generated and output by the information processing device 1. Similarly, requirements may be input three or more times.
[0058] In addition, in this embodiment, the user may select the category and data items of the proposed information generated and output by the information processing device 1. In this case, the user can reliably obtain the proposed information that he or she desires. Note that the information processing device 1 may automatically select the category and data items of the proposed information to be output, or a predetermined type of information may be output as the proposed information. In this case, the system administrator may select and set the category and data items of the proposed information to be output in advance.
[0059] In addition, in this embodiment, there may be required proposal items that are always output regardless of the category or data item of the information of the input requirement. For example, information of a type that is in high demand among users may be set as the required proposal items. For example, activity information may be set as the required proposal items, or only specific data included in the activity information may be set as the required proposal items.
[0060] Although the preferred embodiment of the present disclosure has been described in detail above with reference to the attached drawings, the technical scope of the present disclosure is not limited to such examples. It is clear that a person having ordinary knowledge in the technical field of the present disclosure can conceive of various modified or amended examples within the scope of the technical ideas described in the claims, and it is understood that these also naturally belong to the technical scope of the present disclosure.
[0061] The devices described in this specification may be realized as a single device, or may be realized by a plurality of devices (e.g., cloud servers) partly or entirely connected via a network. For example, the control unit 11 of the information processing device 1 may be realized by different servers connected to each other via a network.
[0062] The series of processes performed by the device described in this specification may be realized using any of software, hardware, and a combination of software and hardware. A computer program for realizing each function of the information processing device 1 according to this embodiment may be created and implemented in a PC or the like. A computer-readable recording medium in which such a computer program is stored may also be provided. The recording medium may be, for example, a magnetic disk, an optical disk, a magneto-optical disk, a flash memory, or the like. The above computer program may also be distributed, for example, via a network, without using a recording medium.
[0063] In addition, the processes described in the present specification using flow diagrams do not necessarily have to be performed in the order shown. Some process steps may be performed in parallel. Additional process steps may be employed, and some process steps may be omitted.
[0064] In addition, the effects described in this specification are merely descriptive or exemplary and are not limiting. In other words, the technology according to the present disclosure may achieve other effects that are apparent to a person skilled in the art from the description of this specification, in addition to or in place of the above effects.
