Abstract

To achieve discount more suitably.SOLUTION: Provided is a label issuance device that issues a commodity label, including: receiving means for receiving information concerning a commodity for which the commodity label is issued; and issuance means for issuing the commodity label at least including a product name of the commodity, a sales price of the commodity, and a consumption date or a freshness date of the commodity. The receiving means is capable of receiving information concerning discount. In a case where the information concerning discount has been received by the receiving means, the issuance means issues a commodity label on which a selling deadline of the commodity and discount notification information that notifies a fact that discount is performed have been printed in a region different from a region where the consumption date or the freshness date of the commodity is printed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
