Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a hinge cap attached to a container body, and more particularly to a hinge cap having a transfer plug that breaks a thin-wall weakened portion and is unplugged at the first opening of the lid, and then moves to the upper lid side.

Background Art

[0002] Conventionally, in a hinge cap including a cap body attached to a container body and an upper lid connected to the cap body via a hinge, in order to ensure the sealing performance of the container body, a breakable thin-wall weakened portion is provided as a planned opening portion of a spout in a partition wall of the cap body, and an opening portion for opening the cap, such as a pull ring, is formed.

[0003] Therefore, in order to open the opening portion, after opening the upper lid, it is necessary to pull up a pull ring or the like to remove the opening portion, which is time-consuming and troublesome, and there is a problem that users with weak strength have difficulty in opening. For this reason, a hinge cap has been developed in which the pull ring is omitted, and a pull-up wall provided on a transfer plug as an opening portion is engaged with an engaging wall vertically provided from the upper lid, and when the upper lid is opened, the transfer plug together with the pull-up wall is pulled up to break the thin-wall weakened portion and open the cap.

[0004] This type of hinge cap has a problem that when the upper lid is first opened, since the transfer plug is unplugged at the same time, the force required to open the upper lid is larger than that of a normal hinge cap. Therefore, a collar portion is connected to the front side of the upper lid via a pair of left and right second hinges. In a first state where the collar portion hangs downward from the connection point, the collar portion can be prevented from protruding. Further, from a second state where the collar portion extends in a roof shape substantially forward from the connection point, by pulling up the collar portion, the collar portion and the upper lid are rotated around a first hinge provided on the back side of the cap body based on the principle of a lever, and a hinge cap that can perform an opening operation with a small force has been conventionally known (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

[0005] Patent Document 1 Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2018-90283 Summary of the Invention Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0006] However, in the hinge cap described in Patent Document 1 above, not only is it not intended to remove the transfer plug, but the flange portion extends in a shield shape substantially forward from the connection point when opening the upper lid, and when the upper lid is closed and not in use, the flange portion hangs downward, so there is a problem that it is impossible to visually confirm whether the hinge cap has been opened once or not.

[0007] An object of the present invention is to solve the above problems and provide a hinge cap that can hold the flange portion in an erected state when removing the transfer plug at the first opening, and can hold the flange portion in an erected state. Means for Solving the Problems

[0008] In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a hinge cap comprising a cap body attached to the mouth of a container body and an upper lid connected to the cap body via a hinge. The cap body includes a partition wall that seals the mouth of the container body, and a transfer plug defined by a thin-wall weakened portion that can be broken in the partition wall. When the upper lid is opened, the thin-wall weakened portion is broken and the transfer plug is transferred from the cap body side to the upper lid side. The upper lid includes a top wall, a side peripheral wall extending vertically from the periphery of the top wall, and a flange portion that is suspended via a hinge portion that can be bent from the side opposite to the hinge of the side peripheral wall and is locked to the cap body. Above the flange portion, there is provided a flange fixing portion that is sandwiched by the flange portion. along the circumferential direction The flange portion is characterized in that when it is raised upward at the first opening, it is fixed to the flange fixing portion in a state of extending in the radial direction with respect to the upper lid. The flange fixing portion has a fixing protrusion protruding from the side peripheral wall and a retaining portion formed at the tip of the fixing protrusion, and the flange portion has a clamping portion that clamps the fixing protrusion of the flange fixing portion. The flange portion is adopted to have a configuration characterized in that when it is raised upward at the first opening, it is fixed to the flange fixing portion in a state of extending in the radial direction with respect to the upper lid.

[0009] As a specific embodiment of the hinge cap, The retaining portion is , it has a structure characterized by having an upper retaining portion formed on the upper surface formed at the tip of the fixed protrusion and a lower retaining portion formed on the lower surface, and the retaining portion has a lower hook portion vertically provided from the tip of the fixed protrusion, and the retaining portion has an upper hook portion erected from the tip of the fixed protrusion. In addition, the flange portion includes a pair of side wall portions extending from the side peripheral wall through the hinge portion and a flange wall portion connecting the tip ends of the side wall portions, and the cap body is provided with a flange locking portion that locks the flange portion in a hanging state when the lid is first closed. Further, the flange fixing portion is formed along the circumferential direction of the side peripheral wall and has an intermittent portion cut out in the middle, and the flange portion has a columnar portion that is sandwiched in the circumferential direction by the intermittent portion of the flange fixing portion.

Advantages of the Invention

[0010] By adopting the above structure, when the hinge cap of the present invention removes the transfer plug at the first opening of the lid, if the flange portion is lifted from the hanging state, it can be opened with less force, and after opening, the flange portion can be visually recognized as being opened by maintaining a state of extending radially with respect to the upper lid. In addition, the hinge cap of the present invention can fix the flange portion after opening so that it does not shake not only in the vertical direction but also in the horizontal direction with respect to the upper lid.

Mode for Carrying Out the Invention

[0012] Next, the hinge cap of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings shown in the following examples. In the following description, with reference to Fig. 1(a), the left direction is defined as the "front side (opposite to the hinge side)", the right direction is defined as the "back side (hinge side)", the upward direction is defined as "up", and the downward direction is defined as "down". With reference to Fig. 2(a), the left direction is defined as the "radial direction".

Embodiment

[0013] In Fig. 1, A is a cap body attached to the container body E, B is an upper lid that is connected to the cap body A via a hinge C so as to be openable and closable, and D is a flange portion connected to the front side of the upper lid B. An engaging ridge 2 is provided on the outer periphery of the mouth portion 1 of the container body E.

[0014] As shown in Figs. 1 to 3, the cap body A is composed of a partition wall 5 that seals the mouth portion 1 of the container body E, a pouring cylinder 6 erected from the upper surface of the partition wall 5, and a mounting portion 7 that is mounted on the mouth portion 1 and has the partition wall 5 formed inside.

[0015] The partition wall 5 is provided with a transfer plug 10 defined by a breakable thin-wall weakened portion 8 on the inner peripheral side of the pouring cylinder 6 to open the pouring port during use. The transfer plug 10 includes a bottom wall 11 connected to the partition wall 5 via the thin-wall weakened portion 8. On the upper surface of the bottom wall 11, a substantially cylindrical pulling-up portion 12 is erected on the front side, and a holding vertical wall 13 is erected along the inner side of the thin-wall weakened portion 8 on the hinge C side. In this embodiment, as shown in Fig. 3(a), the shape of the tip of the bottom wall 11 on the front side is pointed so as to facilitate the breaking of the thin-wall weakened portion 8. Similarly, the pulling-up portion 12 is also formed in a pointed shape on the front side.

[0016] A reinforcing rib 14 is provided on the hinge C side of the pulling-up portion 12 from its upper part toward the upper surface of the bottom wall 11. In this embodiment, on the upper surface of the pulling-up portion 12, a mountain-shaped engaging protrusion 16 is provided upward via a stepped portion 15 so as to cover the pulling-up portion 12.

[0017] The mounting portion 7 is provided with an inner cylinder 20 that hangs vertically from the outer peripheral edge of the partition wall 5 and whose outer periphery is inserted into the inner periphery of the mouth portion 1 of the container body E, an outer cylinder 21 whose inner periphery engages with the outer periphery of the mouth portion 1, and an annular lid engaging portion 22 that is continuously provided at the upper end portions of the inner cylinder 20 and the outer cylinder 21. An outwardly protruding bulging portion 23 is provided at the upper portion of the lid engaging portion 22.

[0018] The outer cylinder 21 is provided with an engaging protrusion 24 that protrudes and engages with an engaging ridge 2 provided on the outer periphery of the mouth portion 1 at the lower part of the inner periphery, and a flange locking portion 27 that locks the flange portion D is provided on the front side of the outer periphery. As shown in FIG. 3, on the back side, in the vicinity of either the left or right side of the hinge C, an outer peripheral cut portion 25 that is substantially V-shaped in plan view is cut from above on the outer peripheral surface, and a slit groove 26 is recessed from above so as to extend in a predetermined range (about 340° in this embodiment) in the circumferential direction on the back side starting from a position separating the thin-walled portion at the upper part on the inner peripheral side of the outer peripheral cut portion 25.

[0019] Therefore, when the hinge cap is pulled down the upper lid B via the hinge C at the time of discarding the container, the outer peripheral cut portion 25 becomes a longitudinal tear line and the slit groove 26 becomes a circumferential tear line. The outer cylinder 21 is broken in the circumferential direction starting from the outer peripheral cut portion 25, and the engagement between the engaging protrusion 24 of the broken portion and the mouth portion 1 of the container body E is disengaged, and the hinge cap can be easily separated from the container body E and discarded separately.

[0020] As shown in FIGS. 2(b) and 3(a), the flange locking portion 27 is provided with a locking protrusion 28 that protrudes in an arc shape with a predetermined width from the center to both sides at the upper part of the front side of the outer periphery of the outer cylinder 21, and locking cut portions 29 whose lateral width (linear shape) is width α and are cut from the upper end of the outer cylinder 21 at a predetermined height (the height of the bottom surface of the slit groove 26 in this embodiment) are disposed on both outer sides from both sides of the locking protrusion 28.

[0021] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the upper lid B is rotatably attached to the upper end of the outer periphery of the outer cylinder 21 of the cap body A via the hinge C, and includes a flat top wall 30 and a side peripheral wall 31 that hangs down from the periphery of the top wall 30. A flange portion D is continuously provided on the front side outer periphery of the side peripheral wall 31.

[0022] The top wall 30 has a sealing cylinder 32 vertically provided from the lower surface and a holding receiving wall 34 on the hinge C side inside the sealing cylinder 32. Also, an engaging hole portion 36 is opened on the front side inside the sealing cylinder 32, and a stepped portion is provided at the lower part of the inner periphery of the engaging hole portion 36, and an engaging portion 33 for engaging with the engaging protrusion 16 at the upper part of the upper portion 12 is provided. The sealing cylinder 32 is provided such that its outer periphery is in close contact with the inner periphery of the pouring cylinder 6 of the cap body A, and the holding receiving wall 34 is provided such that the inner peripheral tip engages or abuts against the outer peripheral upper end of the holding standing wall 13 of the transfer plug 10.

[0023] In this embodiment, the inner periphery of the holding receiving wall 34 engages or abuts against the outer periphery of the holding standing wall 13. However, the outer periphery of the holding receiving wall 34 may engage or abut against the inner periphery of the holding standing wall 13, and the front end surface of the holding receiving wall 34 may engage or abut against the upper end surface of the holding standing wall 13. Note that the holding receiving wall 34 is vertically provided at least within the range where the holding standing wall 13 is erected. Also, a contact rib 35 is formed at the center on the hinge C side of the inner periphery of the holding receiving wall 34, and the contact rib 35 is provided so as to be close to or in contact with the upper end of the holding standing wall 13 when the inner periphery of the holding receiving wall 34 engages or abuts against the outer periphery of the holding standing wall 13 of the transfer plug 10.

[0024] In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1, when the lid is closed, the upper part of the engaging protrusion 16 penetrates through the engaging hole portion 36, and by a retaining process such as melting, the upper part of the engaging protrusion 16 is expanded to fill the engaging hole portion 36, and the engaging protrusion 16 is engaged with the upper surface of the engaging portion 33. In this embodiment, an engaging protrusion 16 is provided above the pulling upper part 12, and an engaging hole 36 is further opened in the upper lid B. When the lid is closed after molding, the upper part of the engaging protrusion 16 is engaged with the engaging part 33 by anti-loosening processing. However, depending on the method of engaging the pulling upper part 12 and the engaging part 33 of the upper lid B, it is not necessary to open the engaging hole 36 in the upper lid B. Also, a form in which an insertion body of a separate member is inserted from the engaging hole 36 and engaged with the pulling upper part 12 is acceptable. Furthermore, a form in which an engaging protrusion hanging down from the upper lid B is inserted into a hole opened in the pulling upper part 12 and fitted or welded is also acceptable. In short, any method is acceptable as long as the two can be firmly engaged with each other.

[0025] On the inner periphery of the side peripheral wall 31, an engaging concave portion 38 that engages with the lid engaging portion 22 and the bulging portion 23 of the cap body A to maintain the closed lid state is provided around the periphery. At the center of the front side of the side peripheral wall 31, a flange concave portion 39 where a flange portion D is continuously provided is recessed. The flange concave portion 39 is formed by an arcuate concave surface portion 39a that is notched in the vertical direction and has a reduced diameter of the outer peripheral surface of the front side peripheral wall 31, and both side stepped surface portions 39b that connect both sides of the concave surface portion 39a and the outer peripheral surface of the side peripheral wall 31 and are parallel to the hinge C. In this embodiment, both outer ends of the flange concave portion 39 are formed to come to substantially the same positions as both outer ends of the locking cutout portion 29 of the outer cylinder 21 of the cap body A when the hinge cap is first closed, and the width of the stepped surface portion 39b is formed to be substantially the same as the width α of the locking cutout portion 29.

[0026] In the flange concave portion 39 formed in the upper lid B, a flange fixing portion 40 protrudes from the upper end of the concave surface portion 39a at a predetermined height and extends from the center of the front side to both sides with a predetermined width. The flange fixing portion 40 is composed of a fixing protrusion 41 having an arcuate plate shape protruding outward from the concave surface portion 39a of the flange concave portion 39 and having a width of β, and an anti-loosening portion formed at the tip of the fixing protrusion 41, including an upper anti-loosening portion 42 on the upper surface and a lower anti-loosening portion 43 on the lower surface.

[0027] As shown in Fig. 4, the upper retaining portion 42 is formed with an upward inclined surface 42a that slopes upward from the front side to the back side, and a retaining step surface 42b that extends downward from the upper end of the upward inclined surface 42a. The lower retaining portion 43 is formed with a downward inclined surface 43a that slopes downward from the front side to the back side, and a retaining step surface 43b that extends upward from the upper end of the downward inclined surface 43a. In the flange recess 39, a bendable hinge portion 44 is formed that is continuously provided at the lower ends of the stepped portions 39b on both sides. A flange portion D is formed that extends downward while protruding toward the front side from the hinge portions 44 on both sides and connects the front side to form a wall.

[0028] As shown in Figs. 1 to 3 and Fig. 4(a), the flange portion D is continuously provided at the lower ends of the stepped portions 39b on both sides via a pair of hinge portions 44. When the hinge cap is closed, a pair of side wall portions 45 that extend downward in parallel with a width such that the back side is inserted into the respective locking cutout portions 29 of the outer cylinder 21 of the cap body A, a flange wall portion 46 that connects the front side tips between both side wall portions 45, and an inner fixing portion 47 as a clamping portion that connects the side wall portions 45 at a position separated by a width β from the back side of the flange wall portion 46 are provided.

[0029] As shown in Fig. 2, the upper surface portions 45a of the side wall portions 45 on both sides are formed flat so as to contact the stepped portion 39b of the flange recess 39 when the flange portion D is raised. The upper surface portions 46a and 47a of the flange wall portion 46 and the inner fixing portion 47 are formed in an arc shape that curves downward so as to closely contact the concave surface portion 39a of the flange recess 39. Also, in this embodiment, as shown in Fig. 2(a), the flange wall portion 46 and the inner fixing portion 47 are formed in an arc shape that expands the outer peripheral surface of the side peripheral wall 31 when viewed from above. Accordingly, as shown in Fig. 1(a), the flange fixing portion 40 is formed in an arc shape that curves downward on both sides when viewed from the front.

[0030] An engaging claw portion 48 that engages with the upper retaining portion 42 of the flange fixing portion 40 is protrudingly provided at the upper part of the back side of the flange wall portion 46. The inner fixing portion 47 is formed such that the front side surface 47b contacts the lower surface of the fixing protrusion 41 of the flange fixing portion 40, and the front side end of the lower surface portion 47c engages with the retaining step surface 43b of the lower retaining portion 43. Further, in the internal fixing portion 47, the upper surface portion 47a is adapted to come into contact with and engage with the lower surface of the locking projection 28 of the flange locking portion 27 of the cap body A when the hinge cap is first closed.

[0031] Next, the usage mode and working effects of this embodiment will be described. The hinge cap of this embodiment is manufactured by integral molding by injection molding using a mold. The hinge cap of this embodiment manufactured by integral molding is obtained in an open state as shown in FIG. 3. By rotating the upper lid B with the flange portion D continuously provided via the hinge C, it is set on the cap body A to be in the closed state shown in FIG. 1. At that time, the engaging projection 16 formed on the pulling portion 12 of the transfer plug 10 of the cap body A is inserted into the engaging portion 33 formed on the top wall 30 of the upper lid B. The upper part of the engaging projection 16 reaches the engaging hole portion 36, and the lower outer periphery of the engaging projection 16 fits within the inner periphery of the engaging portion 33. The lower surface of the engaging portion 33 abuts or is close to the stepped portion 15 of the pulling portion 12.

[0032] Furthermore, the upper outer periphery of the holding vertical wall 13 of the transfer plug 10 engages or abuts against the lower inner periphery of the holding receiving wall 34 of the upper lid B, and the upper end of the holding vertical wall 13 abuts or is close to the lower end of the contact rib 35. Also, the sealing cylinder 32 of the upper lid B forms a seal portion in close contact with the pouring cylinder 6 of the cap body A, and the lid engaging portion 22 of the cap body A and the engaging recess 38 of the upper lid B are fitted to be in the closed state. In the closed state, the upper part of the engaging projection 16 is subjected to anti-loosening processing by melting or the like, and the engaging projection 16 is engaged with the engaging portion 33.

[0033] When closing the lid, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 4(a), the flange portion D continuously provided on the upper lid B via the hinge portion 44 has the back side portion of the side wall portion 45 inserted into the locking cutout portion 29 of the flange locking portion 27 of the outer cylinder 21 of the cap body A. Further, the internal fixing portion 47 gets over the locking projection 28 of the flange locking portion 27, and the upper surface portion 47a of the internal fixing portion 47 engages with the lower surface of the locking projection 28, so that the tip of the flange portion D is fixed in a hanging state with respect to the closed hinge cap. In this embodiment, the outer cylinder 21 between the locking cut portions 29 of the cap body A inserted between the side wall portions 45 on both sides of the flange portion D is sandwiched, and the upper surface portion 47a of the inner fixing portion 47 engages with the lower surface of the locking projection 28, so that the hinge portion 44 is connected to the upper lid B, and the flange portion D can be fixed so as not to move left, right, up, or down with respect to the hinged cap with the lid closed. However, the locking cut portion 29 may be engaged with the side wall portion 45. Since the flange portion D is fixed in a hanging state, the tip of the flange portion D does not occupy a radial position compared to the hinged cap with the lid closed where the tip is initially directed radially (outward).

[0034] Next, the closed hinged cap is stoppered and attached to the mouth portion 1 of the container body E filled with the content liquid, and a container with the hinged cap attached is obtained. In this embodiment, the attachment of the hinged cap to the container body E is a stopper, but it may be screwed on with a screw.

[0035] When first using the hinged cap of this embodiment, first, when a finger is hooked on and lifted (raised) the tip of the flange wall portion 46 of the flange portion D, the tip of the flange portion D starts to rotate with the hinge portions 44 on both sides as fulcrums.

[0036] As the tip of the flange portion D is lifted upward, first, the engagement between the upper surface portion 47a of the inner fixing portion 47 of the flange portion D and the lower surface of the locking projection 28 of the outer cylinder 21 is disengaged, and at the same time, the insertion between the side wall portion 45 of the flange portion D and the locking cut portion 29 of the outer cylinder 21 is also disengaged.

[0037] Furthermore, as the rotation of the flange portion D progresses, a flange fixing portion 40 projecting from the upper lid B is inserted from the tip between the flange wall portion 46 and the inner fixing portion 47 of the flange portion D, the upper retaining portion 42 of the flange fixing portion 40 passes over the engaging claw portion 48 of the flange wall portion 46, and the lower retaining portion 43 passes over the front side surface 47b of the inner fixing portion 47 and is inserted. Finally, as shown in FIGS. 4(b) and 5, the upper surface portion 46a of the flange wall portion 46 of the flange portion D and the upper surface portion 47a of the inner fixing portion 47 abut against the concave surface portion 39a of the flange recess 39, and further, the upper surface portion 45a of the side wall portion 45 abuts against the respective stepped surface portions 39b of the flange recess 39, and the rotation of the flange portion D about the hinge portion 44 as a fulcrum is stopped, and the front side of the flange portion D faces upward and the tip of the flange portion D is stopped in a state of extending in the radial direction.

[0038] At the same time that the rotation of the flange portion D stops with respect to the upper lid B, the retaining step surface 42b of the upward retaining portion 42 of the flange fixing portion 40 abuts against the engaging claw portion 48 of the flange wall portion 46, and the retaining step surface 43b of the downward retaining portion 43 abuts against the lower surface portion 47c of the inner fixing portion 47, and the fixing protrusion 41 of the flange fixing portion 40 is clamped by the engaging claw portion 48 and the inner fixing portion 47, thereby preventing the flange portion D from falling off from the flange fixing portion 40. Therefore, the flange portion D is fixed to the upper lid B in a state of extending in the radial direction.

[0039] Since the flange portion D is fixed to the upper lid B in a state of extending in the radial direction on the front side, when the upper lid B is opened from the cap body A, it becomes easier to hook a finger on the flange portion D, and also, since the position where the finger is hooked is separated in the radial direction on the front side, the distance of the force point with the hinge C as a fulcrum becomes longer, so that the upper lid B can be opened with a weak force. Also, once the flange portion D is fixed to the upper lid B in a state of extending in the radial direction, the state is maintained as it is, and it becomes impossible to easily remove the flange portion D from the flange fixing portion 40.

[0040] Next, in order to open the upper lid B, when the flange portion D is lifted, the upper lid B is lifted from the front side with the hinge C as a fulcrum, and the fitting between the lid engaging portion 22 of the upper lid B and the engaging recess 38 of the cap body A is disengaged, and the upper lid B is opened.

[0041] Furthermore, by continuing to open the upper lid B, the thin-wall weakening portion 8 provided on the partition wall 5 of the cap body A is broken, and after the transfer plug 10 is removed from the partition wall 5, it transfers to the upper lid B and is supported. On the other hand, in the cap body A, the trace of the transfer plug 10 removed from the partition wall 5 becomes the pouring outlet, and the content liquid in the container body E can be poured out. In this embodiment, since the reinforcing rib 14 is provided on the hinge C side of the upper drawing part 12, stress concentrates on the thin-wall weakened part 8 on the front side, making it easier for the thin-wall weakened part 8 to break. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the tip of the bottom wall 11 on the front side has a pointed shape, making it easier for stress to concentrate on the thin-wall weakened part 8 on the front side.

[0042] After using the content liquid, by closing the upper lid B again onto the cap body A, a sealing part is formed by the sealing cylinder 32 and the pouring cylinder 6 of the upper lid B, and the lid engaging part 22 of the cap body A and the engaging concave part 38 of the upper lid B are fitted together, enabling the inside of the hinge cap to be sealed again, and allowing the upper lid B to be repeatedly opened and closed for use. Also, since the outer periphery of the transfer plug 10 is engaged or abutted and held by the inner periphery of the holding receiving wall 34 of the upper lid B, the bottom wall 11 of the transfer plug 10 closes the pouring outlet of the partition wall 5 of the cap body A.

[0043] For the hinge cap of this embodiment, after first opening the lid, the tip of the flange part D is fixed to the flange fixing part 40 in a state of extending radially with respect to the upper lid B, so it is possible to easily visually confirm that it has been opened, and unauthorized opening can be suppressed. Also, during molding, the tip of the flange part D is molded in a state of being folded with respect to the upper lid B, so compared to a case where the tip of the flange part D extends outward with respect to the upper lid B from the beginning, the lateral length of the mold can be reduced, and it can be made more compact.

Embodiment

[0044] Next, a second embodiment in which the configuration of the flange part D of the upper lid B is changed will be described. Hereinafter, the same components as those in the first embodiment will be denoted by the same reference numerals, and the description will focus on the differences.

[0045] In FIG. 6, A is a cap body attached to the container body E, B is an upper lid that is connected to the cap body A via a hinge C so as to be openable and closable, and Da is a flange part provided on the front side of the upper lid B. On the front side of the outer periphery of the outer cylinder 21 of the cap body A, as a flange locking portion for locking the flange portion Da, locking cutout portions 29 are formed, where the lateral widths (linear) on both sides are width α and are cut from the upper end of the outer cylinder 21 at a predetermined height.

[0046] In the center of the front side of the side peripheral wall 31 of the upper lid B, a flange recess 39 is recessed, which consists of a concave surface portion 39a where the flange portion Da is continuously provided and stepped surface portions 39b on both sides. In the flange recess 39 formed in the upper lid B, a flange fixing portion 50 protrudes at a predetermined height from the upper end of the concave surface portion 39a and extends from the center of the front side to both sides with a predetermined width.

[0047] The flange fixing portion 50 is composed of a fixing protrusion 51 in the shape of an arc plate protruding outward from the concave surface portion 39a of the flange recess 39 with a width of β, and a lower hook portion 52 as a retaining portion vertically provided from the tip of the fixing protrusion 51. In the flange recess 39, bendable hinge portions 54 are formed continuously at the lower ends of the stepped surface portions 39b on both sides. While protruding downward from the hinge portions 54 on both sides toward the front side, a flange portion Da is formed that connects the front side to form a wall.

[0048] As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7(a), the flange portion Da is continuously provided at the lower ends of the stepped surface portions 39b on both sides via hinge portions 54 respectively. When the hinge cap is closed, a pair of side wall portions 55 that extend downward in parallel with a width (in this embodiment, ≤ width α) where the back side is inserted into the respective locking cutout portions 29 of the outer cylinder 21 of the cap body A, a flange wall portion 56 that connects the front side tip portions between both side wall portions 55, and an inner fixing portion 57 as a clamping portion that connects the side wall portions 55 at a position separated from the inner upper end of the flange wall portion 56 by width β are provided.

[0049] On the upper part of the back side of the flange wall portion 56, an engaging step portion 58 is recessed, which forms a back side surface 58a that abuts on the upper surface of the fixing protrusion 51 of the flange fixing portion 50 and a bottom surface 58b that abuts on the tip surface when the flange portion Da is raised. The inner fixing portion 57 is formed such that the front side surface 57b abuts on the lower surface of the fixing protrusion 51 of the flange fixing portion 50 and the lower surface portion 57c abuts on the back side of the lower hook portion 52.

[0050] Next, the usage mode and effects of this embodiment will be described. The hinge cap of this embodiment manufactured by integral molding is obtained in an open lid state. By rotating the upper lid B with the flange portion Da continuously provided via the hinge C, it is set on the cap body A to obtain the closed lid state shown in FIG. 6. When closing the lid, the flange portion Da continuously provided on the upper lid B via the hinge portion 54 has the back side portion of the side wall portion 55 engaged with the locking cutout portion 29 which is the flange locking portion of the outer cylinder 21 of the cap body A, and is fixed in a state where the tip portion of the flange portion Da hangs down with respect to the closed hinge cap. In this embodiment, by sandwiching the outer cylinder 21 between the locking cutout portions 29 of the cap body A inserted between the side wall portions 55 on both sides of the flange portion Da, together with the continuous connection of the flange portion Da with the upper lid B of the hinge portion 54, the flange portion Da can be fixed so as not to move left and right, up and down with respect to the closed hinge cap. However, the locking cutout portion 29 may be inserted simply without engaging the side wall portion 55. Furthermore, in addition to the fixation by the locking cutout portion 29, the flange portion Da may be configured such that, as in the first embodiment, the inner fixing portion 57 gets over the locking protrusion protruding from the outer periphery of the outer cylinder 21, and the upper surface portion of the inner fixing portion 57 abuts against and engages with the lower surface of the locking protrusion.

[0051] When first using the hinge cap of this embodiment, first, when a finger is hooked on and lifted (raised) the tip portion of the flange wall portion 56 of the flange portion Da, the tip portion of the flange portion Da starts to rotate with the hinge portion 54 as a fulcrum. First, the engagement between the locking cutout portions 29 on both sides of the outer cylinder 21 of the cap body A and the side wall portion 55 of the flange portion Da is disengaged, and it is lifted up.

[0052] Furthermore, as the rotation of the flange portion Da progresses, the flange fixing portion 50 protruding from the upper lid B is inserted from the tip between the back side surface 58a of the engagement step portion 58 of the flange wall portion 56 of the flange portion Da and the inner fixing portion 57. Finally, as shown in FIG. 7(b), the upper surface portion 56a of the flange wall portion 56 of the flange portion Da and the upper surface portion 57a of the inner fixing portion 57 abut against the concave surface portion 39a of the flange recess 39 of the upper lid B. Further, the upper surface portions 55a of the side wall portions 55 on both sides abut against the respective stepped surface portions 39b of the flange recess 39, and the rotation of the flange portion Da about the hinge portion 54 is stopped. The front side of the flange portion Da faces upward, and the tip of the flange portion Da is stopped in a state of extending in the radial direction.

[0053] At the same time that the rotation of the flange portion Da stops with respect to the upper lid B, the upper surface and the front side surface of the fixing protrusion 51 of the flange fixing portion 50 abut against the rear side surface 58a and the bottom surface 58b of the engaging stepped portion 58 of the flange wall portion 56, and the lower surface of the fixing protrusion 51 abuts against the front side surface 57b of the inner fixing portion 57. At the same time, the rear side surface of the lower hook portion 52 of the flange fixing portion 50 abuts against the lower surface portion 57c of the inner fixing portion 57 and is caught, preventing the flange portion Da from falling out of the flange fixing portion 50. Therefore, the flange portion Da is fixed to the upper lid B in a state of extending in the radial direction. Other usage modes are the same as those of the first embodiment, and the same operational effects are achieved.

Embodiment

[0054] Next, a third embodiment in which the configuration of the flange portion D of the upper lid B is changed will be described. Hereinafter, the same components as those of the first embodiment will be denoted by the same reference numerals, and the description will focus on the differences.

[0055] In FIG. 8, A is a cap body attached to the container body E, B is an upper lid that is connected to the cap body A via a hinge C so as to be openable and closable, and Db is a flange portion continuously provided on the front side of the upper lid B. On the front side of the outer periphery of the outer cylinder 21 of the cap body A, a locking protrusion 28 and a pair of locking cutout portions 29 are formed as a flange locking portion for locking the flange portion Db.

[0056] In the center of the front side of the side peripheral wall 31 of the upper lid B, a flange recess 39 is recessed, which is composed of a concave surface portion 39a where the flange portion Db is continuously provided and stepped surface portions 39b on both sides. In the flange recess 39 formed in the upper cover B, a flange fixing portion 60 protrudes at a predetermined height from the upper end of the concave surface portion 39a and extends from the center of the front side to both sides with a predetermined width.

[0057] The flange fixing portion 60 is composed of a fixing protrusion 61 having an arc plate shape protruding outward from the concave surface portion 39a of the flange recess 39 with a height of width β, an upper hook portion 62 serving as a retaining portion erected on the front side portion of the upper surface of the fixing protrusion 61, and a contact surface portion 63 continuing from the lower surface back side portion of the fixing protrusion 61 to the concave surface portion 39a. In the flange recess 39, a bendable hinge portion 64 connected to the lower ends of the stepped surface portions 39b on both sides is formed, and while protruding downward from the hinge portions 64 on both sides toward the front side, a flange portion Db formed by connecting the front side as a wall is formed.

[0058] As shown in FIGS. 8 and 9(a), the flange portion Db is connected to the lower ends of the stepped surface portions 39b on both sides via a pair of hinge portions 64, and when the hinge cap is closed, a pair of side wall portions 65 extending downward in parallel with a width (in this embodiment, ≦ width α) whose back side is inserted into the respective locking cutout portions 29 of the outer cylinder 21 of the cap body A, a flange wall portion 66 connecting the front side tip portions between both side wall portions 65, a connecting side wall 67 extending from the front side upper end portions of the respective side wall portions 65 to the front side, and an outer fixing portion 68 serving as a clamping portion formed by connecting the tips of both connecting side walls 67 and having a width β opened from the upper end portion of the flange wall portion 66 on the back side.

[0059] On the lower back side of the flange wall portion 66, a locking protrusion piece 69 is formed which extends from the lower part upward on the back side and whose tip contacts and engages with the lower surface of the locking protrusion 28 of the cap body A when the hinge cap is first closed. On the upper end portion of the flange wall portion 66, a contact concave portion 70 that contacts the contact surface portion 63 of the flange fixing portion 60 when the flange portion Db is extended in the radial direction is recessed.

[0060] The outer fixing portion 68 is formed such that when the flange portion Db is raised, the upper surface portion 68a contacts the concave surface portion 39a, the back side surface 68b contacts the upper surface of the fixing protrusion 61, and the lower surface portion 68c contacts the back side of the upper hook portion 62.

[0061] Next, the usage mode and operation effect of this embodiment will be described. The hinge cap of this embodiment manufactured by integral molding is obtained in an open lid state. By rotating the upper lid B with the flange portion Db continuously provided via the hinge C, it is set on the cap body A to be in the closed lid state shown in FIG. 8. When closing the lid, the flange portion Db continuously provided by the hinge portion 64 on the upper lid B has the rear side portion of the side wall portion 65 inserted into the locking cutout portion 29 of the outer cylinder 21 of the cap body A. Further, the tip of the locking projection piece 69 continuously provided on the flange wall portion 66 engages with the lower surface of the locking projection portion 28, so that the tip portion of the flange portion Db is fixed in a state of hanging down with respect to the closed hinge cap. In this embodiment, the outer cylinder 21 between the locking cutout portions 29 of the cap body A inserted between the side wall portions 65 on both sides of the flange portion Db is clamped, and the tip of the locking projection piece 69 engages with the lower surface of the locking projection portion 28. Thus, together with the continuous connection of the upper lid B of the hinge portion 64, the flange portion Db can be fixed so as not to move left, right, up, or down with respect to the closed hinge cap. However, the locking cutout portion 29 may be engaged with the side wall portion 65.

[0062] When first using the hinge cap of this embodiment, first, when a finger is hooked on the tip of the flange wall portion 66 of the flange portion Db and lifted (raised), the tip of the flange portion Db starts to rotate with the hinge portion 64 as a fulcrum. First, the engagement between the locking projection piece 69 continuously provided on the flange wall portion 66 and the lower surface of the locking projection portion 28 of the outer cylinder 21 is disengaged, and at the same time, the insertion between the side wall portion 65 of the flange portion Db and the locking cutout portion 29 of the outer cylinder 21 is also disengaged.

[0063] Furthermore, as the rotation progresses, the flange fixing portion 60 protruding from the upper lid B is inserted from the tip between the flange wall portion 66 and the outer fixing portion 68 of the flange portion Db. Finally, as shown in FIG. 9(b), the upper surface portion 68a of the outer fixing portion 68 of the flange portion Db abuts against the concave surface portion 39a of the flange recess 39, the abutting recess 70 of the flange wall portion 66 abuts against the abutting surface portion 63 of the flange fixing portion 60, and the upper surface portion 65a of the side wall portion 65 abuts against the respective stepped surface portions 39b of the flange recess 39. The rotation of the flange portion Db about the hinge portion 64 as a fulcrum is stopped, the front side of the flange portion Db faces upward, and the tip end portion of the flange portion Db is stopped in a state of extending in the radial direction.

[0064] At the same time that the rotation of the flange portion Db stops with respect to the upper lid B, the upper end portion of the front side of the flange wall portion 66 abuts against the lower surface of the fixing protrusion 61 of the flange fixing portion 60, and the upper surface portion 68a, the rear side surface 68b, and the lower surface portion 68c of the outer fixing portion 68 abut against the concave surface portion 39a, the upper surface of the fixing protrusion 61, and the rear side of the upper hook portion 62, respectively, and are caught, thereby preventing the flange portion Db from falling off from the flange fixing portion 60. Therefore, the flange portion Db is fixed to the upper lid B in a state of extending in the radial direction. Other usage modes are the same as those of the first embodiment, and the same operational effects are achieved.

Embodiment

[0065] Next, a fourth embodiment in which the configuration of the flange portion D of the upper lid B is changed will be described. Hereinafter, the same components as those of the first embodiment will be denoted by the same reference numerals, and the description will focus on the differences.

[0066] In FIG. 10, A is a cap body attached to the container body E, B is an upper lid that is connected to the cap body A via a hinge C so as to be openable and closable, and Dc is a flange portion continuously provided on the front side of the upper lid B. On the front side of the outer periphery of the outer cylinder 21 of the cap body A, a locking protrusion 28 and a pair of locking cutout portions 29 are formed as a flange locking portion for locking the flange portion Dc.

[0067] As shown in FIG. 10(b), a flange recess 39 including a concave surface portion 39a for continuously providing the flange portion Dc and stepped surface portions 39b on both sides is recessed in the center of the front side of the side peripheral wall 31 of the upper lid B. In the flange recess 39 formed in the upper cover B, a pair of flange fixing portions 80 are provided projecting upward. The pair of flange fixing portions 80 are formed circumferentially at a predetermined height from the upper end of the concave surface portion 39a, with the center of the front side being cut out as an intermittent portion 79, and having a predetermined width on both the left and right sides, consisting of a left flange fixing portion 80a extending leftward and a right flange fixing portion 80b extending rightward.

[0068] The pair of flange fixing portions 80 are composed of a fixing protrusion 81 in the shape of an arc plate protruding outward from the concave surface portion 39a of the flange recess 39, with a height of width β (see FIGS. 10(a) and 12(a)), and a retaining portion formed at the tip of the fixing protrusion 81, including an upper retaining portion 82 on the upper surface, a lower retaining portion 83 on the lower surface, a left retaining portion 84 on the left side surface, and a right retaining portion 85 on the right side surface.

[0069] As shown in FIG. 12(a), the upper retaining portion 82 is formed with an upper inclined surface 82a inclined upward from the front side to the back side and a retaining step surface 82b extending downward from the upper end of the upper inclined surface 82a. The lower retaining portion 83 is formed with a lower inclined surface 83a inclined downward from the front side to the back side and a retaining step surface 83b extending upward from the upper end of the lower inclined surface 83a. As shown in FIG. 11, the left retaining portion 84 is formed with a right inclined surface 84a inclined rightward from the front side to the back side and a retaining step surface 84b extending leftward from the right end of the right inclined surface 84a. The right retaining portion 85 is formed with a left inclined surface 85a inclined leftward from the front side to the back side and a retaining step surface 85b extending rightward from the left end of the left inclined surface 85a.

[0070] In the flange recess 39, a bendable hinge portion 86 is formed continuously at the lower ends of the stepped surface portions 39b on both sides. The flange portion Dc is formed by extending downward while protruding toward the front side from the hinge portions 86 on both sides and connecting the front side to form a wall.

[0071] As shown in FIGS. 10 to 12, the flange portion Dc is connected to the lower ends of the stepped surface portions 39b on both sides via a pair of hinge portions 86, and when the hinge cap is closed, the back side is inserted into the respective locking cutout portions 29 of the outer cylinder 21 of the cap body A. It has a pair of side wall portions 87 that extend downward in parallel with a width that allows insertion, a flange wall portion 88 that connects the front side tip portions between both side wall portions 87, and an inner fixing portion 89 as a clamping portion that connects the side wall portions 87 at a position separated by a width β from the back side of the flange wall portion 88. Furthermore, the flange portion Dc includes a columnar portion 90 that radially connects the center of the flange wall portion 88 to the center of the inner fixing portion 89.

[0072] As shown in FIG. 11, the upper surface portions 87a of the side wall portions 87 on both sides are formed flat so as to contact the stepped surface portion 39b of the flange recess 39 when the flange portion Dc is raised, and the upper surface portions 88a and 89a of the flange wall portion 88 and the inner fixing portion 89 are formed in an arc shape that curves downward so as to closely contact the concave surface portion 39a of the flange recess 39.

[0073] An engaging claw portion 91 that engages with the upper retaining portion 82 of the flange fixing portion 80 is provided protruding on the upper back side of the flange wall portion 88 when the flange portion Dc is raised. The inner fixing portion 89 has its front side surface contacting the lower surface of the fixing protrusion 81 of the flange fixing portion 80 and its lower surface portion formed to engage with the retaining step surface 83b of the lower retaining portion 83. The columnar portion 90 has tapered surfaces 90a (see FIG. 11) formed on both side surfaces for insertion into the intermittent portion 79 of the flange fixing portion 80, making it easier to overcome the right inclined surface 84a formed on the left retaining portion 84 of the left flange fixing portion 80a and the left inclined surface 85a formed on the right retaining portion 85 of the right flange fixing portion 80b. Also, the upper surface portion 89a of the inner fixing portion 89 is configured to contact and engage with the lower surface of the locking protrusion 28 of the cap body A when the hinge cap is first closed.

[0074] Next, the usage mode and effects of this embodiment will be described. The hinge cap of this embodiment, which is manufactured by integral molding, is obtained in an open state. By rotating the upper lid B with the flange portion Dc connected via the hinge C, it is set on the cap body A to obtain the closed state shown in FIG. 10.

[0075] When the lid is closed, the flange portion Dc connected to the upper lid B via the hinge portion 86 has the rear side portion of the side wall portion 87 inserted into the locking cutout portion 29 of the outer cylinder 21 of the cap body A. Further, the inner fixing portion 89 gets over the locking protrusion 28, and the upper surface portion 89a of the inner fixing portion 89 engages with the lower surface of the locking protrusion 28, so that the tip of the flange portion Dc is fixed in a state of hanging down with respect to the closed hinge cap. In this embodiment, by sandwiching the outer cylinder 21 between the locking cutout portions 29 of the cap body A inserted between the side wall portions 87 on both sides of the flange portion Dc and engaging the upper surface portion 89a of the inner fixing portion 89 with the lower surface of the locking protrusion 28, together with the connection of the flange portion Dc to the upper lid B of the hinge portion 86, the flange portion Dc can be fixed so as not to move left, right, up, or down with respect to the closed hinge cap. However, the locking cutout portion 29 may be configured to engage with the side wall portion 87.

[0076] When first using the hinge cap of this embodiment, first, when a finger is hooked on and lifted (raised) the tip of the flange wall portion 88 of the flange portion Dc, the tip of the flange portion Dc starts to rotate with the hinge portion 86 as a fulcrum. First, the engagement between the upper surface portion 89a of the inner fixing portion 89 of the flange portion Dc and the lower surface of the locking protrusion 28 of the outer cylinder 21 is disengaged, and at the same time, the insertion between the side wall portion 87 of the flange portion Dc and the locking cutout portion 29 of the outer cylinder 21 is also disengaged, and it is lifted up.

[0077] Furthermore, as the rotation of the flange portion Dc progresses, a pair of flange fixing portions 80 protruding from the upper lid B are inserted from the tip between the flange wall portion 88 and the inner fixing portion 89 of the flange portion Dc. The upper retaining portion 82 of the flange fixing portion 80 gets over the engaging claw portion 91 of the flange wall portion 88, and the lower retaining portion 83 gets over the front side surface of the inner fixing portion 89 and is inserted. At the same time, the columnar portion 90 of the flange portion Dc is inserted from the tapered surface 90a into the intermittent portion 79 between the left flange fixing portion 80a and the right flange fixing portion 80b, and gets over and is inserted through the left retaining portion 84 of the left flange fixing portion 80a and the right retaining portion 85 of the right flange fixing portion 80b. Finally, as shown in FIG. 12(b), the upper surface portion 88a of the flange wall portion 88 of the flange portion Dc and the upper surface portion 89a of the inner fixing portion 89 abut against the concave surface portion 39a of the flange recess 39. Further, the upper surface portion 87a of the side wall portion 87 abuts against the respective stepped surface portions 39b of the flange recess 39. The rotation of the flange portion Dc about the hinge portion 86 as a fulcrum is stopped, the front side of the flange portion Dc faces upward, and the tip of the flange portion Dc is stopped in a state of extending in the radial direction.

[0078] At the same time as the rotation of the flange portion Dc stops with respect to the upper lid B, the retaining step surface 82b of the upper retaining portion 82 of the flange fixing portion 80 abuts against the engaging claw portion 91 of the flange wall portion 88, and the retaining step surface 83b of the lower retaining portion 83 abuts against the lower surface portion of the inner fixing portion 89. The engaging claw portion 91 and the inner fixing portion 89 sandwich the fixing protrusion 81 of the flange fixing portion 80 from above and below, so that the flange portion Dc is fixed to the flange fixing portion 80 so as not to move in the vertical direction. At the same time, the columnar portion 90 of the flange portion Dc is engaged with the retaining step surface 84b of the left retaining portion 84 of the left flange fixing portion 80a of the flange fixing portion 80 and the retaining step surface 85b of the right retaining portion 85 of the right flange fixing portion 80b. By sandwiching the columnar portion 90 of the flange portion Dc from the left and right (circumferential direction), the flange portion Dc is fixed to the flange fixing portion 80 so as not to move in the lateral direction, preventing the flange portion Dc from falling off the flange fixing portion 80. Therefore, the flange portion Dc is fixed to the upper lid B in a state of extending in the radial direction. Other usage modes are the same as those of the first embodiment, and similar operational effects are achieved.

Industrial Applicability

[0079] When the hinge cap of the present invention removes the transfer plug at the first opening of the lid, if the flange portion is lifted from the hanging state, it is possible to open it with less force. After opening, the flange portion holds a state of extending in the radial direction with respect to the upper lid, so that it can be visually recognized that it has been opened. Furthermore, since the flange portion after opening can be fixed so as not to move not only in the vertical direction but also in the lateral direction with respect to the upper lid, it can be widely applied as a hinge cap for a container that stores a content liquid that requires airtightness and suppresses unauthorized opening.
