Abstract

【Problem】To provide a technique for simply determining the maximum intensity of light emitted from a line laser array composed of a plurality of line laser light sources. 【Solution】A method for determining the maximum intensity of light emitted from a line laser array (10) in which the emission points of a plurality of identical line laser light sources (11, 21, 31) having a divergence angle of 90 degrees or less are arranged in a straight line in the longitudinal direction of the line laser light emitted from each line laser light source, the method comprising: obtaining the intensity of light at the position closest to the straight line within the range where the line laser light emitted from two adjacent line laser light sources overlaps (step 1); and determining, as the maximum intensity of the light emitted from the line laser array, the larger one of the intensity of the light at the emission point of the line laser light source and the intensity of the light obtained (step 2). A method for determining the maximum intensity of a line laser array. 【Selected Drawing】Figure 7
