Abstract

To provide a microscope unit that can reduce the size of the entire illuminance lens tube and therefore can reduce the size of a microscope unit.SOLUTION: The microscope unit includes: a main lens tube of an image forming optical system, an imaging element and an objective lens being attachable to the main lens tube; and an illuminance lens tube of an illuminance optical system connected to the main lens tube, a light source being attachable to the illuminance lens tube. The illuminance lens tube includes: a first lens tube, to which the light source can be attached; and an intermediate lens tube for connecting the main lens tube and the first lens tube to each other. On the inner side than the outer periphery surface of the intermediate lens tube, a vision diaphragm is arranged for light emitted from the light source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
