Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[0016] Hereinafter, the table according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. However, the scope of the invention is not limited to the illustrated examples. In the following description, those having the same functions and configurations are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the description thereof is omitted.
[0017] FIGS. 1 to 5 are diagrams for explaining the table according to the first embodiment.
[0018] As shown in FIG. 1, the table 1 according to the present embodiment includes a top plate 10 and a leg unit 20 that supports the lower side of the top plate 10.
[0019] The top plate 10 shown in FIG. 1 is formed in a flat circular shape, and recesses 101 are provided at appropriate positions on the bottom surface. The recess 101 is configured to fit the upper end portion of the support leg 21 of the leg unit 20 described later and to positionally support the support leg 21. Note that the configuration for supporting the support leg 21 is not limited to the one described above, and other modes may be used. For example, the support leg 21 may be supported by engaging the support leg 21 with the top plate 10. Further, the recess 101 is preferably set in terms of the number and position of installation so that the top plate 10 is stably supported by the leg unit 20 in consideration of the center of gravity of the top plate 10. In the present embodiment, three recesses 101 are formed at equal intervals near the outer periphery of the top plate 10.
[0020] The leg unit 20 includes a support shaft 23 that extends in the vertical direction, a plurality of connection portions 22 that are attached so as to extend outward with the support shaft 23 as a support shaft, and a support leg 21 that is attached to the tip of the connection portion 22 and is attached so as to extend in a direction (orthogonal direction) that intersects the connection portion 22, that is, in the vertical direction.
[0021] The support leg 21 is a cylindrical rod, and a support portion 201 that fits into the recess 101 is provided at the upper end, and a grounding portion 202 for placing the table 1 on the ground or the like is provided. In the present embodiment, the support leg 21 is provided so as to extend in the vertical direction, but it is not limited to the vertical direction and may be provided at a predetermined angle with respect to the vertical direction. Note that the support leg 21, which will be described in detail later, can be adjusted in length and expanded and contracted using a fixing pin 206 provided at the base 204 and a position adjustment hole 207 provided in the adjustment portion 205. Note that a configuration that cannot be expanded and contracted may also be used.
[0022] The connecting part 22 is a cylindrical rod body and is attached to the upper and lower parts of the support leg 21 via connecting members 214 respectively. The connecting member 214 is formed with an annular support leg insertion part 214b and a cylindrical connecting part receiving part 214a for holding the adjustment part 209 of the connecting part 22. The support leg insertion part 214b has openings at the top and bottom, and the base part 204 or the adjustment part 205 of the support leg 21 is inserted therethrough. The connecting part receiving part 214a attaches the connecting part 22 to the support leg 21 by fitting the adjustment part 209 of the connecting part 22. Here, as shown in FIG. 1, the connecting part 22 is attached in a direction orthogonal to the support leg 21, but it may also be configured to be attached at a predetermined angle with respect to the orthogonal direction. Further, although it will be described in detail later, the connecting part 22 is made to be stretchable by adjusting its length using a fixing pin 210 provided on the base part 208 and a position adjustment hole 211 formed in the adjustment part 209. Note that it may also be configured not to be stretchable.
[0023] The support shaft portion 23 is a cylindrical rod body and is provided so as to extend in the vertical direction. Here, the connecting portion 22 is provided with a connecting member 213 at the base end portion, and the connecting portion 22 is rotatably attached with the support shaft portion 23 as a support shaft via this connecting member 213. The connecting member 213 is formed with an annular support shaft insertion portion 213b and a cylindrical connecting portion receiving portion 213a that holds the base portion 208 of the connecting portion 22. The support shaft insertion portion 213b has openings at the top and bottom, and the support shaft 23 is inserted therethrough. The connecting portion receiving portion 213a attaches the connecting portion 22 to the support shaft 23 by fitting the base portion 208 of the connecting portion 22. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, a plurality of connecting portions 22 provided above the support shaft 23 are arranged side by side in the vertical direction along the support shaft portion 23, and stoppers 212 are provided above and below each of them, so that the connecting portion 22 is positioned with respect to the support shaft 23. The stopper 212 is integrally formed with an annular portion 212a wound around the support shaft 23 with both ends notched, and flanges 212b projecting from both ends of the annular portion 212a, respectively. The stopper 212 is fixed to the support shaft 23 by fastening the pair of flanges 212b with screws 212c. A plurality of connecting portions 22 provided below the support shaft 23 are also attached to the support shaft 23 in the same manner as described above. In this embodiment, since the top plate 10 is stably supported by the support legs 21, the support shaft 23 is configured not to contact the top plate 10 and the floor surface. However, the support shaft 23 may be configured to contact either one or both of the top plate 10 and the floor surface. Further, the support shaft 23 may be extended to increase the distance between the connecting portions 22 provided above and below, thereby enhancing the supporting force of the top plate 10. For example, when a rectangular top plate is supported by four support legs 21 described later (for example, when applied to a ping pong table, etc.), the support shaft 23 may be made the same length as the support legs 21 so as to contact the top plate and the floor surface, and for the connecting portions 22 provided above and below, the upper part may be arranged near the top plate and the lower part may be arranged near the floor surface to enhance stability. On the other hand, when the support shaft 23 is configured to be at least separated from the floor surface as in this embodiment, when the user sits on a chair or the like and uses it, a space can be provided at the user's feet, improving convenience. Also, in order to enhance stability, the thickness of the support shaft 23 may be increased.
[0024] Next, regarding the leg unit 20 configured as described above, with reference to FIG. 2, the procedure for removing the support leg 21 and the connection part 22 from the support shaft 23 will be described.
[0025] First, as shown in the partial enlarged view of FIG. 2(a), when the screw 212c of the stopper 212 is loosened using a driver DR, the clamping of the support shaft 23 by the annular part 212a is released, and the stopper 212 becomes slidable in the vertical direction with respect to the support shaft 23.
[0026] Subsequently, as shown in the partial enlarged view of FIG. 2(b), by operating the fixing pin 206 provided on the base part 204 of the support leg 21 to release the engagement with the position adjustment hole 207 of the adjustment part 205, and lifting the adjustment part 205 of the support leg 21 upward as shown in FIG. 2(b), the adjustment part 205 or the base part 204 of the support leg 21 can be separated from the support shaft 23 together with the connection part 22. Also, when separating the adjustment part 205 or the base part 204 from the connection part 22, it can be realized by sliding the adjustment part 205 upward or the base part 204 downward while supporting the connection part 22. By making it possible to separate the connection part 22 and the support leg 21 from the support shaft 23 in this way, the leg unit 20 can be made more compact, easier to carry, and the storage space can be made more space-saving.
[0027] Subsequently, with reference to FIG. 3, the procedure for changing the height of the leg unit 20 will be described.
[0028] As shown in FIG. 3(a), a plurality of position adjustment holes 207 are arranged at equal intervals along the extending direction of the adjustment part 205 in the adjustment part 205 of the support leg 21. The fixing pin 206 provided on the base part 204 of the support leg 21 can position the height of the support leg 21 by sliding the adjustment part 205 in the vertical direction and inserting it into any of the plurality of position adjustment holes 207.
[0029] When changing the height of the support leg 21, as shown in the partial enlarged view of Fig. 3(a), first, rotate the fixing pin 206 screwed and fixed to the base portion 204 in the direction of loosening the screw to release the engagement state between the fixing pin 206 and the position adjustment hole 207. Then, slide the adjustment portion 205 in the vertical direction to change the height of the support leg 21. After determining the height of the support leg 21, rotate the fixing pin 206 in the tightening direction at that position, insert the fixing pin 206 into the position adjustment hole 207 corresponding to the changed height, and positionally fix the height of the support leg 21. By changing the height of the adjustment portion 205 with respect to the base portion 204 in this way, the height of the support leg 21 can be changed (in other words, the height of the leg unit 20 can be changed). For example, the height of the table 1 can be changed according to the usage situation, so that the convenience can be improved.
[0030] Next, with reference to Fig. 4, the procedure for changing the lateral length of the leg unit 20 will be described.
[0031] As shown in Fig. 4(a), a plurality of position adjustment holes 211 are arranged at equal intervals along the extending direction of the adjustment portion 209 in the adjustment portion 209 of the connection portion 22. The fixing pin 210 provided on the base portion 208 of the connection portion 22 can position the length of the connection portion 22 by sliding the adjustment portion 209 in the extending direction and inserting it into any one of the plurality of position adjustment holes 211.
[0032] When changing the length of the connecting portion 22, as shown in the partial enlarged view of Fig. 4(a), first, rotate the fixing pin 210 that is screwed and fixed to the base portion 208 in the direction of loosening the screw to release the engagement state between the fixing pin 210 and the position adjustment hole 211. Then, slide the adjustment portion 209 in its extending direction to change the length of the connecting portion 22. After determining the length of the connecting portion 22, rotate the fixing pin 210 in the tightening direction at that position, insert the fixing pin 210 into the position adjustment hole 211 corresponding to the changed length, and position-fix the length of the connecting portion 22. By changing the length of the adjustment portion 209 with respect to the base portion 208 in this way (see, for example, Fig. 4(b)), the length of the connecting portion 22 can be changed (in other words, the width of the leg unit 20 can be changed). For example, as shown in Fig. 5(a), the leg unit 20 can be adapted according to the size and shape of the tabletop 10 to be used, so that the convenience can be improved.
[0033] Also, in this embodiment, as shown in Fig. 5(b), a level 24 may be provided at an appropriate position of the table 1 so that the inclination state of the table 1 can be confirmed. Further, with respect to the grounding portion 202 of the support leg 21, it may be configured to be finely adjustable with respect to the height of the support leg 21 by rotating it with respect to the base portion 204. Note that the fine adjustment function by the grounding portion 202 may be omitted. For example, by applying it to a scene where it is assumed that the floor surface is horizontal, the configuration can be simplified.
[0034] Next, with reference to Figs. 6 to 11, a table according to the second embodiment will be described.
[0035] As shown in Fig. 6, the table 1001 according to this embodiment includes a tabletop 1010 and a leg unit 1020 that supports the lower side of the tabletop 1010.
[0036] The tabletop 1010 shown in Fig. 6 is formed in a substantially square flat plate shape, and recesses 1101 are provided near the four corners of the bottom surface. The recesses 1101 are configured to fit the upper end portions of the support legs 21 of the leg unit 1020 and can positionally support the support legs 21.
[0037] The leg unit 1020 is provided such that the support legs 21 are respectively arranged in the recess 1101 of the top plate 1010, and includes a support shaft 23 extending in the vertical direction, a plurality of connecting portions 22 attached so as to extend outward with the support shaft 23 as a support shaft, and support legs 21 attached to the tips of the connecting portions 22 and attached so as to extend in a direction (orthogonal direction) intersecting the connecting portions 22, that is, in the vertical direction. Note that since the support legs 21, the connecting portions 22, and the support shaft 23 have the same configuration as those shown in the first embodiment, the description thereof is omitted.
[0038] Subsequently, in the leg unit 1020 configured as described above, with reference to FIGS. 7 to 11, the procedure for replacing the support legs 21 and the connecting portions 22 will be described. Note that the following description is also applicable to other embodiments.
[0039] First, as shown in the partial enlarged view of FIG. 7(a), loosen the screws 212c of the pair of stoppers 212 arranged above using a driver DR.
[0040] Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 7(b), remove the adjustment portions 205 of the four support legs 21 and the connecting portions 22 arranged above corresponding thereto, together with the pair of stoppers 212. Here, when separating the adjustment portion 205 from the support leg 21, it can be separated by operating the fixing pin 206 as shown in FIG. 2(b) to release the engagement with the position adjustment hole 207 of the adjustment portion 205. Then, as shown in FIG. 8(a), the connecting portions 22 arranged above can be removed together with the adjustment portions 205.
[0041] After that, in the above-described manner, two of the four connecting portions 22 disposed below and attached to the support shaft 23 are separated together with the base portions 204 of the corresponding support legs 21. Here, when removing the two connecting portions 22, in the manner shown in Fig. 7(a), the screw 212c of the stopper 212 disposed above of the pair of stoppers 212 disposed below is loosened and removable using the driver DR, while the stopper 212 disposed below maintains the fixed state. After that, two of the four base portions 205 and the connecting portions 22 connected thereto are removed from the support shaft 23. Then, as shown in Fig. 8(b), two of the four base portions 205 remain with respect to the support shaft 23, while the remaining two base portions 205 are removed from the support shaft 23 together with the corresponding connecting portions 22.
[0042] After that, in this embodiment, as shown in Fig. 9(a), two connecting portions 1022 having a longer length than the short connecting portion 22 that remains attached to the support shaft 23 are attached to the support shaft 23. More specifically, the support shaft insertion portion 213b of the connecting member 213 attached to the base end portion of the long connecting portion 1022 is inserted from above the support shaft 23, and then the stopper 212 is inserted through the support shaft 23. After that, as shown in Fig. 9(b), the flange 212b is fastened using the driver DR, and the connecting portion 1022 is positionally fixed to be rotatable with respect to the support shaft 23. Note that since the configuration of the connecting member 213 is the same as that shown in the first embodiment, the description thereof is omitted.
[0043] Thereafter, as shown in Fig. 10(a), two short connecting parts 22 among the upper four connecting parts 22 removed from the support shaft 23 in Fig. 7(b) are arranged above the short connecting parts 22 provided below, and the adjusting part 205 attached to the connecting part 22 is attached to the base part 204 attached to the short connecting part 22 provided below. At the same time, the connecting member 213 provided at the base of the connecting part 22 is inserted through the support shaft 23. At this time, a stopper 212 is inserted through the lower part of the connecting member 21 and fixed to the support shaft 23 to position the connecting part 22 attached above the support shaft 23. In this way, as shown in Fig. 10(b), the two short connecting parts 22 can be arranged above the support shaft 23.
[0044] Subsequently, as shown in Fig. 11(a), two long connecting parts 1022 are arranged above the two long connecting parts 1022 attached below the support shaft 23 as shown in Fig. 9, and the adjusting part 205 attached to the long connecting part 1022 is attached to the base part 204 attached to the long connecting part 1022 provided with a possibility. At the same time, the connecting member 213 provided at the base of the connecting part 1022 is inserted through the support shaft 23. Thereafter, the flange 212b of the stopper 212 is fastened using a driver DR, and the connecting parts 22, 1022 are positioned and fixed rotatably with respect to the support shaft 23 to prevent the four connecting parts 22, 1022 inserted through the support shaft 23 and provided above from being removed. By making the connecting parts 22, 1022 replaceable in various modes in this way, for example, as shown in Fig. 11(b), even if the modes of the top plates 1010, 2010 to be used are changed, it is possible to cope with them. Therefore, leg units 20, 1020, 2020 that can cope with various top plates can be provided, and the convenience can be improved. Incidentally, the height of the support leg 21 can be adjusted by expanding and contracting it in the above-described manner.
[0045] In the above-described embodiments, a plurality of connection parts are attached to both the upper and lower parts with respect to the support shaft to support the support legs. However, a configuration may be adopted in which a plurality of connection parts are attached only to either the upper or lower part, and the support legs are supported only at the upper or lower part. Further, in the above-described embodiments, the support legs are made telescopic to enable height adjustment, but a configuration may be adopted in which no height adjustment means is provided. In this case, for example, a configuration may be adopted in which the height is adjusted by changing a plurality of types of support legs having different lengths. Also, although the connection part is made telescopic to enable adjustment of the size in the width direction, a configuration may be adopted in which it does not telescope.
[0046] Next, a modification example of the table applicable to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 12 and 13.
[0047] In the table 3001 shown in FIG. 12(a), the top plate 3010 is substantially isosceles right triangular, and the leg unit 3020 is configured to support this top plate 3010 from below. In the example shown in FIG. 12(a), a mode is shown in which the leg unit 3020 includes four support legs 21 and connection parts 22, 1022 and supports the top plate 3010. More specifically, two connection parts 22, 1022 of different lengths are each used twice and supported at appropriate positions on the top plate 3010.
[0048] In the table 4001 shown in FIG. 12(b), the top plate 4010 is rectangular and has a shape in which one side is cut out in a triangular shape, and the leg unit 4020 is configured to support this top plate 4010 from below. In the example shown in FIG. 12(b), a mode is shown in which the leg unit 4020 includes four support legs 21 and a connection part 1022 and supports the top plate 4010. More specifically, four connection parts 1022 of the same length are used, and they are supported at appropriate positions on the top plate 4010 while avoiding the cut-out part. In the present embodiment, by appropriately adjusting the length of the connection part 1022 of the leg unit 4020, it is possible to adopt a mode adapted to the shape of the top plate, and the convenience can be improved.
[0049] The table 5001 shown in Fig. 13(a) has a top plate 5010 that is rectangular, with a rectangular notch 5011 formed on one side, and the leg unit 5020 is configured to support this top plate 5010 from below. In the example shown in Fig. 13(a), the leg unit 4020 is configured with four support legs 21 and connecting portions 1022, 2022, and the mode of supporting the top plate 5010 is shown. More specifically, three connecting portions 1022 of the same length and one connecting portion 2022 with a different length from the connecting portion 1022 are used, and they are supported at appropriate positions on the top plate 5010 so as to avoid the notch 5011. In this embodiment, by appropriately adjusting the length of the connecting portion 1022 of the leg unit 5020, it is possible to adapt to the shape of the top plate, and the convenience can be improved.
[0050] The table 6001 shown in Fig. 13(b) has a top plate 5010 that is rectangular, with a substantially square notch 6011 formed on one side, and the leg unit 6020 is configured to support this top plate 6010 from below. In the example shown in Fig. 13(b), the leg unit 6020 is configured with four support legs 21 and connecting portions 22, 1022, and the mode of supporting the top plate 6010 is shown. More specifically, two connecting portions 22 of the same length and two connecting portions 1022 with different lengths from the connecting portion 22 are used, and they are supported at appropriate positions on the top plate 6010 so as to avoid the notch 6011. In this embodiment, by appropriately adjusting the lengths of the connecting portions 22, 1022 of the leg unit 6020, it is possible to adapt to the shape of the top plate, and the convenience can be improved.
[0051] In the above-described embodiments, examples in which the shape of the top plate is formed into a circular shape, a triangular shape, or a rectangular shape are shown, but other shapes (for example, polygonal shapes such as pentagonal shapes, shapes with various designs, etc.) may be adopted. In this case, it is preferable to set the position of the concave portion formed on the bottom surface of the top plate in consideration of the center of gravity. As a result, the leg unit can also function as a table by adjusting the length of the connecting portion.
[0052] Next, with reference to FIG. 14, another aspect of the fixing means between the base and the adjustment part in the support leg and the connection part applicable to the above-described embodiment will be described.
[0053] In the aspect of the fixing means shown in FIG. 14(a), a pair of position adjustment holes 204a and 204b are oppositely formed in the base 204A, and a plurality of sets of this pair of position adjustment holes 204a and 204b are arranged at equal intervals in the extending direction of the base 204A. Further, in the adjustment part 205A, a pair of spring plungers 205Aa and 205Ab are provided inside so as to face each other on the back surface. The spring plungers 205Aa and 205Ab are configured to include a main body 253, a spring 254 housed in the main body, and a pin 252 biased outward by the spring 254. When the position of the pin 252 is aligned with the position adjustment holes 204a and 204b, the pin 252 protrudes outward from the position adjustment holes 204a and 204b to fix the position of the support leg or the connection part. When adjusting the length of the support leg or the connection part, the pin 252 is pressed, and when the pin 252 is buried from the position adjustment holes 204a and 204b, the engagement between the base 204A and the adjustment part 205A is released, and the adjustment part 205A becomes slidable with respect to the base 204A. After that, when adjusted to an appropriate position and the pin 252 is aligned with other position adjustment holes 204a and 204b, the pin 252 protrudes from the position adjustment holes 240a and 204b by the biasing force of the spring 254, and thereby the position of the adjustment part 205A is fixed.
[0054] The embodiment of the fixing means shown in FIG. 14(b) is such that a fixing member 261 is attached to the base 204B.
