Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a floor structure for a vehicle.

Background Art

[0002] Conventionally, some vehicles such as automobiles are provided with a waterproof floor structure for preventing water leakage from the floor surface to under the floor. For example, Patent Document 1 below discloses a configuration in which a waterproof floor covering material is bent upward along the side wall from the floor board at the end of the vehicle floor surface and fixed. Thereby, the floor surface and the side surface of the passenger compartment are sealed by the waterproof floor covering material, and water leakage from the inside of the passenger compartment to under the floor is prevented. Further, in Patent Document 1, the floor covering material along the side wall is covered with the side wall interior material so as not to impair the appearance of the passenger compartment or cause the floor covering material to float, and at the corner of the floor board and the side wall, it is pressed by a pressing member having an L-shaped cross section, and the pressing member is fixed to the floor board and the side wall.

Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0004] By the way, there are needs in vehicles to enhance the comfort and design of the interior space. The compatibility between the waterproofness of such a floor surface and the comfort and design of the interior is particularly high in vehicles such as buses used by many people and vehicles equipped with electrical components near the feet of the passenger compartment. However, the configuration disclosed in Patent Document 1 has the pressing member exposed to the view, and limits the degree of freedom in terms of design, such as clearly dividing the wall surface and the floor surface. In particular, the pressing member is often made of a metal having gloss, and in that case, the design can be particularly limited.

[0005] The technology disclosed herein has been made in consideration of the above-mentioned circumstances, and aims to provide a vehicle floor structure that prevents water leakage from the floor surface to underneath the floor without the design being restricted by a pressure member. [Means for solving the problem]

[0006] The vehicle floor structure according to the present technology comprises a floor panel material having a floor surface arranged on the interior side of a vehicle compartment, a fixed portion, and a water-resistant, elongated water-stopping member having a water-stopping portion that rises approximately perpendicular to the fixed portion, the water-stopping member being fixed to an exterior end portion of the floor panel material at the fixed portion, a fixing member that fixes the water-stopping member to the floor panel material, and a side wall material having a plate-like shape and a side wall surface arranged on the interior side of the vehicle compartment, the side wall surface being installed in an orientation in which it intersects with the floor surface, the water-stopping portion having a height determined so that water supplied onto the floor panel material on the interior side of the vehicle compartment relative to the fixing member does not leak to the exterior side, and the side wall material is spaced upward from the floor panel material, and the side wall surface is located on the interior side of the vehicle compartment relative to the fixing member, thereby blocking the view to the fixing member from inside the vehicle compartment.

[0007] According to this configuration, the water-stopping member prevents the water supplied to the floor surface in the vehicle compartment from overflowing from the inside to the outside of the vehicle compartment. Therefore, it is possible to prevent water such as rainwater brought into the vehicle compartment by passengers and cleaning water used when cleaning the vehicle compartment from entering under the floor or into the wall from the vehicle compartment. In addition, since the water-stopping member is disposed in a position that is not exposed to the view from the inside of the compartment, it is possible to increase the freedom of design at the boundary between the wall surface and the floor surface while ensuring waterproofing.

[0008] In a preferred embodiment of the present technology, the vehicle further includes a water-resistant upholstery provided on the floor surface, and the water-stopping portion presses down on the outer end of the upholstery from above and is fixed to the floor plate material via the upholstery. With this configuration, the upholstery can easily achieve a desired design for the floor of the vehicle compartment. Also, for example, in cases where the floor plate material does not have water resistance, the upholstery can easily ensure the water resistance of the floor surface.

[0009] In a preferred embodiment of the present technology, the height of the water-stopping portion may be higher than the lower end of the side wall surface of the side wall material. With this configuration, the water-stopping member is not exposed to view from the inside of the room, so that the design is not deteriorated even if the height of the water-stopping portion is increased, and therefore sufficient waterproofing can be provided.

[0010] In a preferred embodiment of the present technology, the sidewall material may have an extension portion extending toward the outside at the lower end. With this configuration, even if water that has penetrated deeper than the sidewall surface of the sidewall material splashes up, the extension portion prevents the water droplets from moving further in. This makes it possible to prevent the splashed water droplets from leaking beyond the water-stopping portion of the water-stopping member to the outside.

[0011] In a preferred embodiment of the present technology, functional parts are attached to the extension part. Since the side wall material is present and the extension part faces the floor surface, it is not exposed to the view from the inside of the room. Therefore, by attaching functional parts such as lighting and air conditioning fans to the extension part, the functional parts can be equipped without affecting the design.

[0012] In a preferred embodiment of the present technology, at least a lower region of the sidewall material close to the floorboard material may include an inclined surface that recedes toward the exterior as it goes downward. The sidewall surface of the sidewall material is arranged on the interior side of the room relative to the water-stopping member, and the sidewall surface can be provided with an inclined surface in an area where the water-stopping member is blocked from view. This can improve the design of the sidewall surface.

[0013] In a preferred embodiment of the present technology, functional components may be mounted on the inclined surface. Since the inclined surface is also hardly exposed to the view from the indoor side by the side wall surface, by attaching functional components such as lighting and air conditioning fans to the inclined surface, the functional components can be equipped while suppressing the influence on the design.

[0014] In a preferred embodiment of the present technology, the space between the water stop portion and the side wall material may be blocked by a sealing material. According to the above configuration, the waterproof property between the side wall member and the water stop member can be made more reliable.

[0015] In a preferred embodiment of the present technology, the sealing material is composed of an elastic material having a size larger than the separation distance between the water stop portion and the side wall material in the natural state, and is disposed between the water stop portion and the side wall material in an elastically deformed state. According to the above configuration, the waterproof property between the side wall member and the water stop member can be ensured even when the vehicle vibrates.

[0016] In a preferred embodiment of the present technology, a support member having a support surface for supporting the side wall material is provided outside the side wall material on the outdoor side, the side wall material has a mounting surface arranged along the support surface, and the side wall material may be fixed to the support member in a state where the mounting surface and the support surface face each other. According to the above configuration, it becomes easier to control the dimensions between the side wall member and the support member, and thus it becomes possible to more easily provide the sealing material in an elastic state.

Effects of the Invention

[0017] According to the present technology, in a vehicle floor structure for preventing water leakage from the floor surface to the underfloor, the design limitation by the pressing material can be eliminated.

Mode for Carrying Out the Invention

[0019] ≪Embodiment 1≫ Regarding the floor structure 1 for a vehicle according to the present technology, with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3, as an example of a vehicle, an example adopted as the floor structure of a bus or other public transportation vehicle (hereinafter simply referred to as "vehicle 50") for an unspecified number of passengers to board and alight will be described. In each figure, for a plurality of identical parts, one part may be labeled with a reference numeral, and other parts may have the reference numeral omitted.

[0020] The vehicle 50 of the present embodiment has a long and high box-shaped vehicle body 54 in the front-rear direction in order to transport a large number of passengers, and the internal space thereof is a passenger compartment 2. The passenger compartment 2 is provided with seats for passengers to sit. As shown in FIG. 2, the vehicle 50 of the present embodiment is configured such that passengers can sit on seats provided above the rear tires by providing a step (level difference) behind the passenger compartment 2. Therefore, when cleaning the floor surface of the passenger compartment 2 by flushing with water or the like, it is assumed that water is poured onto the floor surface from above the step 105.

[0021] The floor structure 1 for a vehicle in this example is constructed in a portion extending from the floor surface of the passenger compartment 2 to the side wall, and as shown in FIG. 3, includes an interior material 10 (an example of a side wall material), a floor material 20, a water stop member 30, a fixing member 38, and a sealing material 40. The fixing member 38 and the sealing material 40 are additional elements respectively. In the passenger compartment 2 of this example, the interior material 10 is provided at least in the lower portion of all side walls except for the door 4 for the entrance and exit.

[0022] The flooring material 20 includes a floor board material 22 and an upholstery material 24. The floor board material 22 is a member that constitutes the floor of the passenger compartment 2 and is fixed and supported by the vehicle body 54 and the structural material 55 that constitutes the framework. The floor board material 22 is in a plate shape and has a floor surface 22A arranged on the indoor side of the passenger compartment 2 and a back surface 22B on the opposite side. As the floor board material 22, for example, a plywood that is lightweight and easy to process while having high strength, such as a lauan material, can be preferably used.

[0023] The upholstery material 24 is an additional element and is provided on the floor surface 22A of the floor board material 22. The upholstery material 24 typically has a flexible sheet shape and has a surface 24A arranged on the indoor side of the passenger compartment 2 and a back surface 24B on the opposite side. Further, the upholstery material 24 has water resistance and has the property of preventing moisture from penetrating from the surface 24A to the back surface 24B when moisture is supplied to the surface 24A. As such an upholstery material 24, for example, a sheet made of a synthetic resin such as polyvinyl chloride having appropriate strength and water resistance, such as a floor sheet, can be preferably used. The upholstery material 24 can have a desired design on the surface 24A.

[0024] The interior material 10 is a structural member that constitutes the side wall of the passenger compartment 2. The interior material 10 is in a plate shape and has a surface 10A (an example of a side wall surface) facing the interior side of the passenger compartment 2 and a back surface 10B on the opposite side. The interior material 10 is fixed and supported to the structural material 55 of the vehicle body 54 in a posture where the surface 10A intersects the floor surface 22A. As the interior material 10, for example, a plate material made of a synthetic resin such as polypropylene can be used. This plate material may be, for example, a solid material that does not contain air bubbles inside, or a foamed material (rigid foamed material) that contains independent air bubbles inside. The interior material 10 can be provided with a desired design on the surface 10A. The interior material 10 in this example includes an interior material main body portion 12 that forms the main body of the interior material 10 and faces the passenger compartment, and an additional extended portion 14 that extends from the lower end of the interior material main body portion 12 toward the outdoor direction. The surface 10A of the extended portion 14 faces the side of the floor material 20. In addition, a clip seat 16 for attaching a fixture such as a clip 18 for fixing the interior material 10 to the structural material 55 is provided on the back surface 10B of the interior material main body portion 12. The clip seat 16 has a cup shape (truncated cone shape) in which a part of the top portion 16A and the side surface portion 16B are cut away, and the surface on the outdoor side of the top portion 16A constitutes an attachment surface arranged along the structural material 55.

[0025] Here, the structural member 55 will be described. The structural member 55 mainly constitutes the framework of the vehicle body 54 and is an element that supports the interior material 10 and an exterior material (not shown). The structural member 55 typically includes a skeletal member 56 of the vehicle and a support member 57 that is connected to the skeletal member and supports the interior material 10 and the exterior material. The skeletal member 56 is typically composed of a frame member or the like made of a metal material. The support member 57 is composed of a plate-shaped molded material made of a synthetic resin material such as polyethylene or polypropylene, or a plate-shaped metal panel made of a metal material such as aluminum or a stainless alloy. Although not limited thereto, the floor board material 22 in this example is fixed to the metal floor panel (skeletal member 56) by a fastening tool (not shown) such as a screw on the surface 56A facing the inside of the passenger compartment. Further, the interior material 10 of this example is fixed to a metal panel (an example of the support member 57) connected to a metal frame member (skeletal member 56) by a clip 18 on its indoor side surface 57A (an example of a support surface). The support member 57 of this example has a bulging portion 57C in which the portion for attaching the interior material 10 bulges toward the indoor side. The indoor side surface 57A of the bulging portion 57C is arranged to be generally perpendicular to the floor surface 22A so as to follow the water stop portion 36 of the water stop member 30 described later.

[0026] The water stop member 30 is a member that prevents water supplied onto the floor material 20 from leaking from the indoor side to the outdoor side. The water stop member 30 has a fixing portion 32 and a water stop portion 36. The fixing portion 32 and the water stop portion 36 are each in the shape of a long plate, and are integrally formed such that the water stop portion 36 stands up substantially vertically with respect to the fixing portion 32. The water stop member 30 in this example is a long member having a substantially L-shaped cross section. The water stop member 30 is provided on the floor material 20 along the end of the floor material 20. The fixing portion 32 is an element for fixing the water stop member 30 to the floor material 20, has a width dimension sufficient to stably support the water stop portion 36, and is in contact with the floor material 20. A plurality of insertion holes 34 through which a fixing member 38 described later can be inserted are provided at predetermined intervals in the fixing portion 32 of this example. The water stop portion 36 is an element that prevents water supplied onto the floor material 20 from leaking from the indoor side to the outdoor side, and its height dimension is determined so that an amount of water expected to be supplied onto the floor material 20 does not overflow from the indoor side to the outdoor side. Since the vehicle floor structure 1 in this example includes a sealing material 40 described later, the water stop member 30 functions to suppress overflow in cooperation with this sealing material 40. Therefore, the height of the water stop portion 36 is determined so that it can support the sealing material 40. For example, the height of the water stop portion 36 in this example is designed to be higher than the lower end of the surface 10A of the interior material main body portion 12. As the water stop member 30, an L-shaped member made of a metal such as aluminum is preferably employed.

[0027] The fixing member 38 is an element for fixing the fixing portion 32 to the floor material 20. The fixing member 38 in this example has, for example, a head portion 38A having a diameter larger than that of the insertion hole 34 of the fixing portion 32 and a shaft portion 38B having a diameter smaller than that of the insertion hole 34, and a thread is provided on the shaft portion 38B. This fixing member 38 is fixed to the floor board material 22 by engaging the thread with the floor board material 22 while the shaft portion 38B is inserted into the insertion hole 34 and penetrating the upper sheathing material 24 to reach the floor board material 22. Thereby, the head portion 38A presses the fixing portion 32 from above, and the water stop member 30 can be fixed to the floor material 20 from above the upper sheathing material 24.

[0028] The sealing material 40 is an element that hermetically seals the space between the interior material 10 and the water stop portion 36, and is composed of a water-resistant material. Although not limited thereto, the sealing material 40 in this example contains a large number of independent air bubbles inside, and in addition to water, it can suppress the propagation of heat, sound, vibration, etc. Further, the sealing material 40 in this example has a relatively large volume occupied by air bubbles and is in a flexible sponge shape, and is attached to the water stop portion 36 and has a dimension to fill the gap between the interior material 10 and the water stop portion 36 in a slightly crushed state. Such a sealing material 40 can be preferably composed of an elastic material typified by ethylene-propylene rubber, ethylene-propylene-diene rubber, etc., and can be particularly preferably composed of a sponge-shaped elastic material.

[0029] Here, the interior material 10 is spaced upward from the floor material 20. More specifically, the dimension between the fixing position to the structural material 55 and the lower end is designed so that the interior material 10 is spaced upward from the floor material 20. Further, the interior material 10 is fixed to the structural material 55 such that the surface 10A of the interior material main body portion 12 is located on the indoor side of the water stop member 30 and blocks the view from the passenger compartment to the water stop member 30. In other words, a space S is secured between the lower end portion of the interior material 10 and the structural material 55 to which the interior material 10 is fixed, and at least the water stop member 30 can be accommodated on the outdoor side of the interior material main body portion 12. In order to fix the interior material 10 and the structural material 55 while securing this space S, typically, at least one of them bulges toward the other. In the vehicle floor structure 1 of this example, both the clip seat 16 of the interior material 10 and the metal panel of the structural material 55 bulge toward each other toward the outdoor side and the indoor side, and are fixed to each other at this bulging portion. The separation dimension between the interior material 10 and the structural material 55 that constitutes the space S can be appropriately set in combination with the separation dimension of the interior material 10 from the floor material 20 so that the water stop member 30 is not exposed to the passenger's view.

[0030] The vehicle floor structure 1 of the above embodiment has a floor plate member 22 that is plate-shaped and has a floor surface 22A disposed on the indoor side of the passenger compartment 2, a fixing portion 32, and a water stop portion 36 that rises substantially perpendicular to the fixing portion 32. The water stop member 30 is a long water stop member with water resistance, and the water stop member 30 is fixed to the outdoor-side end portion of the floor plate member 22 at the fixing portion 32. The interior material 10 (an example of a side wall material) is plate-shaped and has a surface 10A (an example of a side wall surface) disposed on the indoor side of the passenger compartment 2, and the surface 10A is installed in a posture intersecting the floor surface 22A. The height of the water stop portion 36 is determined so that water supplied onto the floor plate member 22 on the indoor side of the water stop member 30 does not leak to the outdoor side. The interior material 10 is spaced upward from the floor plate member 22, and the surface 10A is located on the indoor side of the water stop member 30, so as to have a configuration that blocks the view from the passenger compartment to the water stop member 30.

[0031] According to this vehicle floor structure 1, the water stop member 30 suppresses the water supplied to the floor material 20 in the passenger compartment 2 from overflowing from the inside to the outside of the passenger compartment 2. Therefore, it is possible to suitably suppress moisture such as rainwater brought into the passenger compartment 2 by passengers and the cleaning water used during cleaning of the passenger compartment 2 from entering under the floor or into the wall from the passenger compartment 2. Further, the water stop member 30 is disposed at a position where it is not exposed to the view from the indoor side, and while ensuring waterproofness against the outdoor side, the degree of freedom in design at the boundary between the surface 10A of the interior material 10 and the floor surface 22A can be increased.

[0032] In the above embodiment, the vehicle floor structure 1 further includes a water-resistant overlay material 24 provided on the floor surface 22A. The water stop portion 36 of the water stop member 30 presses the outdoor-side end portion of the overlay material 24 from above and is fixed to the floor plate member 22 via the overlay material 24. According to such a configuration, the design of the floor material 20 in the passenger compartment 2 can be easily made into a desired configuration by the overlay material 24. Further, for example, when the floor plate member 22 does not have water resistance, the water resistance of the floor material 20 can be easily ensured by the overlay material 24.

[0033] In the above-described embodiment, the height of the water stop portion 36 of the water stop member 30 is higher than the lower end of the surface 10A of the interior material 10. Since the water stop member 30 is not exposed to the view from the indoor side, even if the height of the water stop portion 36 is sufficiently increased, the design property will not be deteriorated. According to such a configuration, the vehicle floor structure 1 having sufficient waterproofness and design property is realized.

[0034] In the above-described embodiment, the interior material 10 includes an extended portion 14 that extends outward in the outdoor direction at the lower end. According to such a configuration, even if water that has entered from the gap between the interior material 10 and the floor material 20 splashes, etc., the water droplets can be blocked from further advancing deeper by the extended portion 14. Thereby, it is possible to more reliably suppress the situation where the splashed water droplets or the like leak to the outdoor side beyond the water stop portion 36 of the water stop member 30.

[0035] In the above-described embodiment, the space between the water stop portion 36 of the water stop member 30 and the interior material 10 is blocked by a sealing material 40. Further, the sealing material 40 is formed of an elastic material having a dimension larger than the separation distance between the water stop portion 36 and the interior material 10 (extended portion 14) in the natural state, and is arranged in an elastically deformed state between the water stop portion 36 and the extended portion 14. According to such a configuration, the waterproofness between the interior material 10 and the water stop member 30 can be made more reliable. Also, the waterproofness between the interior material 10 and the water stop member 30 can be ensured even when the vehicle vibrates or the like.

[0036] The vehicle floor structure 1 of the above-described embodiment includes a support member 57 having a support surface for supporting the interior material 10 on the outdoor side of the interior material 10. The interior material 10 includes an attachment surface arranged along the support surface, and the interior material 10 is fixed to the support member 57 with the attachment surface and the support surface facing each other. According to the above configuration, it becomes easy to control the dimension between the interior material 10 and the support member 57, and thus the dimension between the interior material 10 and the water stop member 30 can be easily controlled. As a result, the sealing material 40 can be more easily attached in an elastic state between the interior material 10 and the water stop member 30. Further, in the configuration where the attachment surface and the support surface are substantially perpendicular, the attachment direction of the interior material 10 to the support member 57 is the indoor-outdoor direction and intersects (substantially perpendicular in this example) the water stop portion 36 of the water stop member 30. According to such a configuration, the fixing direction of the interior material 10 and the sandwiching direction of the sealing material coincide, and it is preferable in that it is possible to confirm whether the sealing by the sealing material 40 is performed when the interior material 10 is attached.

[0037] ≪Embodiment 2≫ The vehicle floor structure 101 according to Embodiment 2 will be described with reference to FIGS. 1, 2, 4, and 5. In this embodiment, the vehicle floor structure 101 is applied to the part of step 105 in FIG. 2. Other configurations, operations, and effects may be the same as those in Embodiment 1, and the description of the same configurations, operations, and effects will be omitted.

[0038] More specifically, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the interior material 110 constitutes a side wall surface facing the indoor side of step 105. The plate-shaped interior material main body portion 112 includes a vertical portion 112U that is substantially perpendicular to the floor surface 22A in the upper portion, and an inclined portion 112D that inclines so as to retreat to the outdoor side downward in the lower portion. The surface 110A of the interior material 110 is arranged on the indoor side of the water stop member 30, and an inclined surface can be included within a range where the water stop member 30 can be blocked from the passenger's view. Thereby, the designability of the interior material 110 can be made diverse.

[0039] Note that clip seats 116 are provided on the back surface 110B of the interior material 110, respectively, at the vertical portion 112U and the inclined portion 112D. The clip seat 116 has a shape in which a part of a cylindrical shape with a lid is cut out, and its top 116A is configured to be in a posture substantially perpendicular to the floor surface 22A. Further, the support member 157 in this example is composed of a plurality of synthetic resin plate-shaped molded materials having a shape corresponding to the cross section of the step 105, arranged in the vehicle width direction, and is connected to a frame (skeletal member 56) (not shown) in a posture protruding inward of the vehicle compartment along the indoor-outdoor direction of the vehicle compartment. The support member 157 is configured to be able to support the floor material 20 and the interior material 10 of the step 105. Further, the support member 157 includes a fixing portion 157C including a support surface 157A, and this fixing portion 157C is configured such that the support surface facing the indoor side or the floor surface 22A faces the top 116A of the clip seat 116. And in this fixing portion 157C, the interior material 110 can be attached to the support member 157.

[0040] A lighting device 45 (an example of a functional component) is attached to the back surface 110B of the inclined portion 112D of the interior material 110. An opening (not shown) is provided in the inclined portion 112D, and the lighting device 45 can illuminate the floor material 20 through this opening. Due to the presence of the vertical portion 112U of the interior material 110, the inclined portion 112D is also configured to be difficult to be exposed to the view from the indoor side. Therefore, by attaching functional components such as a lighting device and an air-conditioning fan to the inclined portion 112D, various functional components can be equipped in the vehicle compartment while suppressing the influence on the design. Note that according to this technology, leakage of water from the floor surface to under the floor is prevented. Therefore, when an electronic device is adopted as these functional components, concerns such as electric leakage and failure of the electronic device are reduced, and the advantages of this technology are preferably utilized, which is preferable.

[0041] As described above, specific examples of the present invention have been described in detail with reference to the above description and the drawings. However, these are merely examples and do not limit the scope of the claims. The technology described in the claims includes, for example, the following embodiments. Furthermore, it includes various modifications and changes to the specific examples illustrated herein.

[0042] (1) In the above-described Embodiment 1, the interior material 10 (side wall material) and the support member 57 bulged in directions approaching each other at their fixed portions (see FIG. 3). However, the shapes of the side wall material and the support member are not limited to this. For example, as shown in FIG. 6, the support member 257 may be configured such that a portion facing the lower end of the interior material 10 (side wall material) bulges outward, thereby securing a space S in which the water stop member 30 can be accommodated outside the interior material main body 12. According to such a configuration, the space between the interior material 10 (side wall material) and the support member 57 can be reduced and utilized for the installation space of other members or the like.

[0043] (2) In the above-described embodiment, the side wall surface (interior material) was composed only of a plate-shaped member made of synthetic resin. However, the side wall surface (interior material) may be provided with, for example, a skin material having various designs on the side wall surface.

[0044] (3) In the above-described Embodiment 2, the lighting device 45 (functional component) was provided on the inclined portion 112D of the interior material 110. However, the mounting position of the functional component is not limited to this. For example, it may be provided on an extended portion at the lower end of the interior material. The extended portion faces the floor surface and is not exposed to the view from the indoor side. Therefore, by mounting functional components such as lighting and air conditioning fans on the extended portion, the passenger compartment can be equipped with functional components without affecting the design.

[0045] (4) In the above-described embodiment, the vehicle 50 for passengers is exemplified as the vehicle, but the vehicle is not limited thereto. The vehicle may be, for example, various vehicles such as an automobile as a ground vehicle, a train, etc., an airplane or a helicopter as an aircraft for flight, a ship or a submarine as a vehicle for sea or underwater use. The floor structure for vehicles in the present technology can be applied to the floor structures of various vehicles.
