Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention

[0007] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described, but the present invention is not limited to the following embodiments as long as it does not contravene the gist of the present invention.

[0008] The comb of the present invention may be a brush having a plurality of teeth protruding from one surface, or may be a comb in a plate shape with a plurality of teeth protruding. Hereinafter, mainly, the case where the comb of the present invention is a comb will be described, but when the present invention is applied to a brush, a plurality of teeth and grooves as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 described later are provided in the thickness direction.

[0009] FIG. 1 is a front view of the comb according to an embodiment of the present invention. The comb 1 shown in FIG. 1 is a comb, and a plane perpendicular to the thickness direction of the plate-shaped comb is viewed from the front. FIG. 2 is an enlarged view of the comb according to an embodiment of the present invention, and is a front view of a first comb portion having an L-shaped groove. FIG. 2 is also a view of a plane perpendicular to the thickness direction of the plate-shaped comb viewed from the front, similar to FIG. 1. FIG. 3 illustrates the comb according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 3 is also a view of a plane perpendicular to the thickness direction of the plate-shaped comb viewed from the front, similar to FIG. 1.

[0010] Although not shown, a gripping portion for the user to grip the comb 1 may be provided. When the comb 1 does not have a gripping portion, the user grips the base portion 21 or the base portion 31 to use the comb 1. The shape of the plane perpendicular to the thickness direction of the comb 1 is not particularly limited, and for example, it may be substantially rectangular or substantially semicircular.

[0011] The comb 1 includes a first comb portion 2 and a second comb portion 3. The second comb portion 3 has the same function as a conventional comb (comb). In the second comb portion 3, a plurality of teeth 32 project from the base portion 31 to form a plurality of grooves 33. The user can comb the hair by moving the comb 1 in the thickness direction with the hair passed through the grooves 33. Note that the comb according to the present invention may not include the second comb portion 3.

[0012] Also in the first comb portion 2, a plurality of teeth 22 project from the base portion 21 to form a plurality of grooves 23. The shapes of the plurality of teeth 22 may be the same or different. Further, the plurality of teeth 22 are preferably provided in parallel so that the direction in which the teeth 22 extend from the base portion 21 is the same. Further, the plurality of teeth 22 are preferably arranged along the direction perpendicular to the direction in which the teeth 22 extend from the base portion 21 and the thickness direction, at least in the vicinity of the opening 24 of the groove 23.

[0013] However, as long as it is possible to insert the hair into the plurality of grooves 23 by bringing the first comb portion 2 into contact with the hair from one direction and to remove the hair from the grooves 23 by moving the first comb portion 2 away from the hair along the one direction, the directions in which the plurality of teeth 22 project do not have to be parallel. For example, one tooth 22 may have an inclination of 2° or less with respect to another adjacent tooth 22. When the directions in which the plurality of teeth 22 extend from the base portion 21 are parallel, the direction in which the teeth 22 extend from the base portion 21 is the one direction.

[0014] Here, the direction of 1 can be defined as the vertical direction. One side of the base 21 can be defined as the upper side, and the side with the opening 24 of the groove 23 can be defined as the lower side. Also, the vertical direction and the direction perpendicular to the thickness direction of the plate-like comb 1 can be defined as the left-right direction.

[0015] The shapes of the plurality of grooves 23 of the comb 1 may be the same or different. In FIGS. 1 and 2, the shapes of the plurality of grooves 23 are the same. Also, for the plurality of grooves 23, it is preferable that they are provided in parallel so that the directions of the grooves 23 from the opening 24 toward the back side (the direction from the lower side to the upper side in the vertical direction) are the same in the vicinity of the opening 24. At this time, the plurality of grooves 23 are preferably arranged along the left-right direction at least in the vicinity of the opening 24.

[0016] However, as long as the hair can be inserted into the plurality of grooves 23 by bringing the first comb part 2 into contact with the hair from the direction of 1, and the hair can be taken out of the groove 23 by moving the first comb part 2 away from the hair along the direction of 1, the directions of the grooves 23 from the opening 24 toward the back side do not have to be parallel. For example, the direction of one groove 23 may have an inclination of 2° or less with respect to the adjacent groove 23.

[0017] The tips of the plurality of teeth 22 (when the teeth 22 are provided with the recesses 25, the outside of the depression of the recess 25 is the tip of the tooth 22) may be arranged on a straight line or on an arc. When the tips of the plurality of teeth 22 are arranged on an arc, the vertical position of the tip becomes higher from the end side to the center of the first comb part 2. By doing so, the outer shape of the first comb part 2 matches the curved shape of the head, and when the first comb part 2 is brought into contact with the hair, more hair can be inserted into the groove 23. For example, for the plurality of recesses 25, while the vertical positions of the bottoms of the recesses 25 are the same, the depth of the recess 25 is changed so that the depth of the recess 25 becomes shallower from the end side to the center of the first comb part 2, thereby making it possible to make the vertical position of the tip of the tooth 22 higher from the end side to the center of the first comb part 2.

[0018] Regarding the plurality of concave portions 25, while the vertical positions of the bottoms of the concave portions 25 are the same, the depth of the concave portions 25 is changed, and as it goes from the end side to the center of the first comb portion 2, when the depth of the concave portions 25 becomes shallower, the distance in the vertical direction between the tips of the teeth 22 at both ends of the first comb portion 2 and the tip of the tooth 22 at the center of the first comb portion 2 is preferably 0.1 to 3 mm, and more preferably 0.5 to 2 mm.

[0019] The material of the comb 1 is not particularly limited, and for example, wood, plastic, metal, etc. can be adopted.

[0020] The vertical length L1 of the comb 1 is not particularly limited. When the planar shape of the comb 1 is not rectangular, the shortest distance among the distances from the tip to the base 21 of the teeth 22 of the comb 1 is defined as the length L1. For example, the vertical length L1 of the comb 1 is preferably 15 to 30 mm, and more preferably 20 to 25 mm.

[0021] The left - right length L2 of the comb 1 is not particularly limited. Here, the length L2 can be defined, for example, as the length from the left end of the left - most groove to the right end of the right - most groove. For example, the left - right length L2 of the comb 1 is preferably 30 to 100 mm, and more preferably 50 to 80 mm.

[0022] A plurality of grooves 23 through which hair passes are provided. The width (length) L3 of the opening 24 of the groove 23 is preferably 0.3 to 3 mm, and more preferably 0.5 to 1.5 mm. Here, the groove 23 refers to one having a depression with a depth deeper than 2 mm from the opening 24. Those with a depth of 2 mm or less can also be defined as the concave portions described later. The width of the groove 23 may be the same as the width L3 of the opening 24, narrower than the width L3 of the opening 24, or wider than the width L3 of the opening 24 on the back side of the opening 24.

[0023] The width (length) L4 of the teeth near the opening 24 of the groove 23 (that is, the width of the tip portion of the teeth 22, which is the distance between the opening 24a of the groove 23a of 1 and the opening of the groove 23b adjacent to the groove 23b) is preferably 2 to 12 mm, and more preferably 4 to 8 mm. The larger the width (length) L4 of the teeth, the more hair on the surface side of the hair can be kept outside the groove 23 without being inserted into the groove 23.

[0024] The width of the teeth 22 may be the same as the width L4 of the teeth near the opening 24 even on the back side of the opening 24, may be narrower than the width L4 of the teeth, or may be wider than the width L4 of the teeth.

[0025] The groove 23 bends to the right on the back side from the opening 24, but may bend to the left.

[0026] In at least a part of the region on the back side of the opening 24 of the groove 23, the groove 23 is preferably provided such that the direction D2 in which the hair can be inserted from the opening 24 of the groove 23 to the back side of the groove 23 intersects the direction D1 in which the hair can move from the opening 24 of the groove 23 to the back side. The direction D1 is usually parallel to the vertical direction, but it is preferable to provide a groove 23 having a region that becomes the direction D2 intersecting this. The groove 23 has a branch in a direction extending at least in either the left or right direction on the back side of the opening 24 of the groove 23, the groove 23 bends in a direction extending at least in either the left or right direction on the back side of the opening 24 of the groove 23, or the extending direction of the groove 23 is gradually changed in a curved shape on the back side of the opening 24 of the groove 23. By such methods, the direction D2 can be made to intersect the direction D1. The angle formed by the direction D1 and the direction D2 is not particularly limited, but is preferably 90 to 150°, and more preferably 110 to 140°.

[0027] In the comb 1, by providing such a groove, the lateral position of at least one point in the groove 23 on the back side of the opening 24 is different from the lateral position of the opening 24. Here, assume that the lateral position of at least one point Pa1 in the groove 23a on the back side of the opening 24a is point Qa1. The position of the opening 24a is any point between its endpoints Pa2 to Pa3, and the lateral positions of the left and right sides of the opening 24 are any points between point Qa2 and point Qa3. Point Qa1 is different from any point between point Qa2 and point Qa3. By adopting such a configuration, when passing hair through the groove 23 using the comb 1, the hair inserted into the groove 23 among the hairs on the skin side before using the comb 1 can be positioned on the surface side of the hair that was not inserted into the groove 23 among the hairs on the surface side before using the comb 1.

[0028] In the groove 23 on the back side of the opening 24 of one groove 23, the distance in the lateral direction between the point farthest from the opening 24 of the groove 23 and the opening 24 of one groove 23 is preferably formed such that it is longer than the distance in the lateral direction between the farthest point and the opening 24 of the groove 23 adjacent to one groove 23. In FIG. 2, in the groove 23a on the back side of the opening 24a, the distance in the lateral direction between the point Pa1 farthest from the opening 24a and the opening 24a can be represented by the distance between point Qa1 and point Qa3. On the other hand, the distance in the lateral direction between the farthest point Pa1 and the opening 24b (any point between the endpoints Pb2 to Pb3) of the groove 23b adjacent to the groove 23a can be represented by the distance between point Qa1 and point Qb2. Therefore, it is preferable to provide the grooves 23a and 23b such that the distance between point Qa1 and point Qa3 is longer than the distance between point Qa1 and point Qb2. By adopting such a configuration, when passing hair through the groove 23 using the comb 1, more of the hair inserted into the groove 23 among the hairs on the skin side before using the comb 1 can be positioned on the surface side of the hair that was not inserted into the groove 23 among the hairs on the surface side before using the comb 1.

[0029] In the left - right direction, the distance between the point Pa1 which is the farthest from the opening 24 of the groove 23 and the opening 24 of the groove 23, that is, the distance between the point Qa1 and the point Qa3, is preferably 3 mm or more, and more preferably 5 mm or more. The distance between the point Qa1 and the point Qa3 is preferably 20 mm or less, preferably 10 mm or less, and more preferably 8 mm or less. By increasing the distance between the point Qa1 and the point Qa3, among the hairs on the skin side before using the comb 1, more of the hairs inserted into the groove 23 can be positioned on the surface side of the hairs that were on the surface side before using the comb 1 and were not inserted into the groove 23.

[0030] In the groove 23 on the back side of the opening 24 of the groove 23 of the comb 1, the left - right position of the point that is the farthest from the opening 24 of the groove 23 in the left - right direction overlaps with the left - right position from the opening 24 of the groove 23 adjacent to the groove 23 of the comb 1 to the point Pb2 which is the farthest from the opening 24 of the adjacent groove 23 in the left - right direction in the groove 23 on the back side of the adjacent opening 24. Preferably, the groove 23 is provided. In the groove 23a on the back side of the opening 24a, the left - right position (point Qa1) of the point Pa1 which is the farthest from the opening 24a in the left - right direction overlaps with the left - right position from the opening 24b of the groove 23b adjacent to the groove 23a (any point between the end points Pb2 - Pb3) to the point Pb1 which is the farthest from the opening 24b in the left - right direction in the groove 23b on the back side of the opening 24b. Preferably, the groove 23 is provided. That is, the point Qa1 is preferably located between the point Qb2 and the point Qb1.

[0031] As shown in FIG. 2, the shape of the groove 23 may be L - shaped. Here, the L - shaped includes not only the shape where the groove shape is formed by two elongated grooves joined vertically, but also the concept of the shape joined after forming an angle different from the vertical. Also, in FIGS. 1 and 2, the groove 23 is bent to the left on the upper side of the opening 24, but it may be bent to the right on the upper side of the opening 24.

[0032] By making the shape of the groove 23 L-shaped, it is possible to increase the distance between the point Qa1 and the point Qa3 without making the width of the tooth 22 too narrow, that is, without reducing the strength of the tooth 22 too much.

[0033] The groove 23 extends upward along the direction D1 from the opening 24, bends to the right at the bending point P5, and extends to the upper left along the direction D2. The distance L5 between the point P4 at the center of the opening 24 and the bending point P5 is not particularly limited. The distance L5 is preferably, for example, 0.5 mm or more, and more preferably 1 mm or more. The distance L5 is preferably 3 mm or less, and more preferably 2 mm or less.

[0034] Also, the distance L6 between the bending point P5 and the point P6 that is the farthest from the opening 24 of the groove 23 in the left-right direction within the groove 23 on the back side of the opening 24 is not particularly limited. The distance L6 is preferably 3 mm or more, and more preferably 5 mm or more. The distance L6 is preferably 15 mm or less, and more preferably 12 mm or less.

[0035] The distance between the point P4 at the center of the opening 24 of the groove 23 and the point P6 that is the farthest from the opening 24 of the groove 23 in the left-right direction within the groove 23 on the back side of the opening 24 of the groove 23 (that is, the sum of the distance L5 and the distance L6) is not particularly limited. The sum of the distance L5 and the distance L6 is preferably 5 mm or more, and preferably 6 mm or more.

[0036] The shape of the groove 23 is not particularly limited. For example, it may be Y-shaped as shown in Fig. 3(a), or cross-shaped as shown in Fig. 3(b). As shown in Figs. 3(c) and (d), the vertical height of the groove 23 extending in the left-right direction may be different. In Fig. 3(d), the groove 23 extends parallel to the horizontal direction, and in Fig. 3(c), the groove 23 extends in a direction inclined more than the horizontal direction. In addition, the shape of the groove 23 may be T-shaped. The matters described as the description of Figs. 1 and 2 above are also applicable to the comb having a groove with a shape different from that of Figs. 1 and 2 as shown in Fig. 3 within a range where no contradiction occurs.

[0037] It is preferable to have a recess 25 between the opening 24a of the groove 23a of 1 and the opening 24b of the groove 23b adjacent to the groove 23a (that is, at the tip portion of the tooth 22). When passing the hair through the groove 23 of the comb 1, a part of the hair on the surface side of the hair can be received in the recess 25 at the recess 25. Note that the comb 1 may or may not include the recess 25.

[0038] The width L7 of the recess 25 is not particularly limited, but is preferably 1 to 10 mm, and more preferably 2 to 5 mm. The width L7 of the recess 25 is shorter than the distance between the opening 24a of the groove 23a of 1 and the opening 24b of the groove 23b adjacent to the groove 23a. The larger the width L7 of the recess 25, the more hair on the surface side of the hair can be received in the recess 25 without inserting it into the groove 23.

[0039] The depth L8 of the recess 25 is not particularly limited, but is preferably 0.1 to 2 mm, and more preferably 0.5 to 1.5 mm. When the shape of the groove 23 is bent on the inner side of the groove 23 or branched on the inner side of the groove 23, the depth L8 of the recess 25 is set to a depth that does not penetrate the inner groove 23.

[0040] By passing the hair through the groove 23 using the comb 1 of the present invention, a part of the hair on the skin side can be positioned more on the surface side than a part of the hair on the surface side. For example, when the user is wearing a wig or a toupee, when combing the hair using a conventional comb as shown in the second comb portion 3 of FIG. 1, the entanglement between the hair due to the wig or toupee and the hair derived from the user's natural hair is eliminated. As a result, even if the color and brightness of the natural hair and the color and brightness of the hair due to the wig or toupee are similar, when a third party views the user, it is easy to recognize that the wig or toupee is on the natural hair.

[0041] On the one hand, when using the comb 1 of the present invention and passing hair through the groove 23 of the comb 1 (for example, when moving the comb from the side of the hair closer to the skin to the tip side of the hair with the hair inserted into the groove, a part of the hair on the skin side is positioned more on the surface side than a part of the hair on the surface side, that is, a part of the user's natural hair is positioned more on the surface side than a part of the hair derived from a wig or a toupee, and the natural hair and the hair from the wig or toupee can be intertwined. As a result, when a third party sees the user, it can be made difficult to grasp that the user is using a wig or a toupee.

[0042] Also, when the color tone and brightness of the natural hair are clearly different from the color tone and brightness of the hair from a wig or a toupee, using the comb of the present invention can create a state similar to that of having a mesh.

[0043] FIG. 4 is a diagram showing how the hair moves when the hair is passed through the groove of the comb according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 4(a) shows the state before passing the hair through the groove 23 of the comb 1. The hair consists of the hair 41 on the surface side and the hair 42 on the scalp side. FIG. 4(b) shows the state where the hair is passed through the groove 23 of the comb 1. A part of the hair 41 on the surface side fits into the recess 25, while the other hair 41 on the surface side enters the groove 23. At the same time, the hair 42 on the scalp side, which exists on the scalp side of the hair 41 on the surface side that has entered the groove 23, also enters the groove 23. By moving the comb 1 from the side of the natural hair of the hair to the tip side of the hair with the hair in the groove 23, as shown in FIG. 4(c), a part of the hair 42 that was on the scalp side before passing the hair through the groove 23 of the comb 1 moves to the surface side more than the hair 41 that was on the surface side.

[0044] The user can perform the operation of moving the comb 1 from the ground hair side to the tip side of the hair in the thickness direction a plurality of times with the hair entering the groove 23 at the same position of the hair, so that it is difficult for the user to grasp that they are using a wig or a toupee, or it can be in a state like being filled with a mesh. Fig. 5 is a photograph of the state of the hair after combing the hair using a conventional comb like the second comb part. Fig. 6 is a photograph of the state of the hair after passing the hair through the groove of the comb according to the embodiment of the present invention like the first comb part. Fig. 6 shows that after combing the hair a plurality of times using a conventional comb to make it in the state like Fig. 5, the hair is passed through the groove of the comb according to the embodiment of the present invention a plurality of times. As can be seen from the comparison between Fig. 5 and Fig. 6, in Fig. 6, the state is such that the hair seems to be filled with a mesh.

[0045] The user can perform the operation of moving the comb 1 in the thickness direction a plurality of times with the hair entering the groove 23 at the same position of the hair, so that before passing the hair through the groove 23 of the comb 1, a part of the hair 42 on the scalp side can be moved to the surface side more than the hair 41 on the surface side. Therefore, usually, since the hair 41 on the surface side can be moved to the scalp side, it is possible to avoid the state where the same hair is constantly exposed to ultraviolet rays. In this way, by using the comb according to the embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to suppress the hair from being damaged by ultraviolet rays.

A comb as described in claim 1 or 2, wherein the first groove and the second groove are arranged so that the left-right position of the point furthest from the opening of the first groove in the left-right direction within the groove further back than the opening of the first groove overlaps with the left-right position from the opening of the second groove adjacent to the first groove to the point furthest from the opening of the second groove in the left-right direction within the groove further back than the opening of the second groove.

4. The comb according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the groove is provided so that in at least a portion of the region behind the groove opening, the direction in which hair can be moved from the groove opening to the rear side intersects with the direction in which hair can be inserted into the groove opening to the rear side of the groove.

5. The comb according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the distance between the groove opening and a point farthest from the groove opening in the left-right direction is 3 mm or more within the groove on the inner side of the groove opening.

6. 3. The comb according to claim 1, wherein the distance between the opening of a first groove and the opening of a second groove adjacent to the first groove is 2 mm or more.

7. 3. The comb according to claim 1, wherein the distance between the center point of the groove opening and the point in the groove further back than the groove opening that is farthest from the groove opening in the left-right direction is 5 mm or more.

8. 3. The comb according to claim 1, wherein the grooves are L-shaped.

9. 3. The comb according to claim 1, wherein the width of the recess is 1 to 5 mm.

10. 3. The comb according to claim 1, wherein the depth of the recesses is 0.3 to 2 mm.

11. A method in which a plurality of grooves are arranged in a line so that hair can be inserted from one direction, and when the one direction is defined as the up-down direction and the direction perpendicular to the up-down direction and the thickness direction is defined as the left-right direction, the left-right position of at least one point in the grooves behind the groove opening is different from the left-right position of the opening, and by using a comb having a recess between the opening of a first groove and the opening of a second groove adjacent to the first groove, the hair is passed through the grooves, thereby positioning a portion of the hair on the skin side closer to the surface than a portion of the hair on the surface side.
