[0001] The present invention relates to a barber's tool.

[0002] Patent Document 1 discloses a hair styling tool, which is a conventional barber's tool. This hair styling tool includes a cover serving as a handle and a hair styling tool body. The cover has an arcuate bottom wall, a pair of side walls, and a support bracket. The arcuate bottom wall extends in one direction. The pair of side walls extend in the same direction from each of the opposite edges of the arcuate bottom wall. The support bracket extends in one direction between the pair of side walls at one end of the cover. The pair of side walls and the support bracket each have mounting holes formed on the same line. The hair styling tool body includes a comb and a brush. The comb has a shaft integrally molded on both sides of one end. The comb is positioned between one side wall of the cover and the support bracket. The comb shafts are inserted into mounting holes formed in one side wall and in the support bracket. The brush has a shaft integrally molded on both sides of one end. The brush is positioned between the other side wall of the cover and the support bracket. The brush shafts are inserted into mounting holes formed in the other side wall and the support bracket. The comb and brush rotate relatively around their respective shafts, transforming between a folded state and a usable state. This hair styling tool allows the user to use either the comb or the brush depending on the hair styling requirements.

When the handle 10 and the comb body 30 are rotated relative to each other about the central axis with a rotational force equal to or greater than a predetermined value, the tip of the protruding wall 11T and the tip of the first protrusion 35A pass over each other, enabling the comb body 30 to transform from the folded state to the use state. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 6 , the tip of the protruding wall 11T is adjacent to the tip of the second protrusion 35B of the comb body 30 (described later) when the handle 10 and the comb body 30 are in the use state. When the handle 10 and the comb body 30 attempt to rotate relative to each other about the rotation axis 50 in the direction of transforming from the use state to the folded state, the tip of the protruding wall 11T and the second protrusion 35B come into contact with each other, preventing the rotation. In this way, the protruding wall 11T and the second protrusion 35B form a locking mechanism that locks the handle 10 and the comb body 30 in the use state. When the handle 10 and the comb body 30 are rotated relative to each other around the central axis with a rotational force greater than or equal to a predetermined value, the tip of the protruding wall 11T and the tip of the second convex portion 35B overcome each other, allowing the comb to be transformed from the use state to the folded state.

[0030] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 , the pair of side walls 13 of the handle 10 extend in the same direction (upward in the folded state shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 , downward in the used state shown in FIGS. 4 and 6 to 8 ) from each of the unidirectionally extending side edges of the wall portion 11. In front and rear views, the outwardly bulging curved portions of the rear end edges of the pair of side walls 13 are continuous with the rear end edges of the mountain-shaped portions 13M and form part of the outer edge of the heart-shaped portion H.

Claims

1. A hairdressing tool comprising a handle and a body, which is transformable between a folded state and a usable state, wherein the handle comprises a wall extending in one direction and a pair of side walls extending in the same direction from each of the two side edges of the wall, the handle and the body rotate relatively around a rotation axis located between the pair of side walls, and the handle and the body are transformed between the folded state and the usable state, and both ends of the rotation axis are not exposed on the surface of each of the side walls.

2. The barber tool according to claim 1, wherein the barber body is a comb body having a plurality of comb teeth arranged in a row.

3. A hairdressing tool according to any one of claims 1 and 2, wherein the rotation shaft is integrally formed with each of the side walls.

4. The barber tool according to claim 3, wherein the barber body has a bearing portion through which the rotating shaft passes.

5. A hairdressing tool comprising a handle and a hairdressing body, wherein a part of the outer edge of the handle has two side-by-side mountain-shaped portions that bulge outward.

6. The barber tool according to claim 5, wherein the barber body is a comb body having a plurality of comb teeth arranged in a row.

7. A barber tool as claimed in any one of claims 5 and 6, wherein the handle has a heart-shaped portion, and the two mountain-shaped portions form part of the outer edge of the heart-shaped portion.

8. The barber tool according to claim 7, wherein a portion of the outer edge of the handle is curved and bulges outward to form a portion of the outer edge of the heart-shaped portion.

9. A hairdressing tool as described in any one of claims 5 and 6, wherein the handle and the hairdressing container body can be rotated relative to each other to transform into a folded state, and the handle covers at least a portion of the hairdressing container body in the folded state.
