Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a transmitter for emergency notification, and more particularly to a technology effective for use in a fire notification transmitter provided on a wall of a building and operated in the event of a fire to issue an alarm.

Background Art

[0002] A fire notification system is provided inside a building to notify of the occurrence of a fire. The fire notification system includes a fire detector, a manual fire notification transmitter equipped with a push-button switch, a receiver, a fire notification bell, an indicator light, etc. Among these, the fire notification transmitter is installed on the wall surface of a corridor or the like in the building at an appropriate height. When a fire occurs, the discoverer strongly presses the push-button switch of the fire notification transmitter, and a signal notifying of the occurrence of the fire is transmitted to the receiver, and an alarm sound is emitted from a bell provided near the transmitter to notify the people around of the occurrence of the fire.

[0003] Conventional fire notification transmitters generally have a disk-shaped front panel portion that covers the indoor exposed portion on the front of the transmitter body. The transmitter body includes the above push-button switch, a telephone jack for connecting a handset for communicating with a monitor of the fire receiver, and an opening / closing door that covers the front of a storage recess for storing the telephone jack and can be opened and closed as needed, and is installed so as to be embedded in the wall surface of the building. In addition, a bullet-shaped indicator light is provided near the fire notification transmitter so that it can be easily discovered even from a distance and in the dark.

[0004] On the other hand, in recent years, flat-type indicator lights with a flat or disk-shaped front surface and fire notification transmitters in which the indicator light is integrally formed have also been put into practical use. Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0006] The transmitters for fire alarm described in Patent Documents 1 and 2 are provided with an opening / closing door that covers the front of the telephone jack on the front panel of the transmitter. Therefore, the boundaries between the indicator lights, push buttons, and various components of the opening / closing door provided on the front are configured in a form that can be visually clearly distinguished. On the other hand, in recent years, the requirements for the design inside buildings have been increasing. When a transmitter with clearly distinguishable boundaries between components is installed on the inner wall of a building, there is a problem that it does not harmonize with the interior decoration and causes a sense of discomfort.

[0007] The present invention has been made by paying attention to the above problems, and its object is to ensure the function of making the telephone jack usable from the front of the transmitter in a transmitter equipped with a telephone jack inside, while reducing the boundaries between components, achieving harmony with the interior decoration of the building, making it difficult to cause a sense of discomfort, and thus improving the aesthetic appearance.

Means for Solving the Problems

[0008] In order to solve the above problems, the present invention A transmitter body portion having a storage case with an opening provided at the front and incorporating a switch capable of on / off operation, and being attached to an installation surface, and a front panel portion having a push button for operating the switch. A telephone jack is disposed in the transmitter body portion so as to face the opening of the storage case. The front panel portion Is connected to the storage case by a link mechanism provided between the front panel portion and the storage case. It is configured to be convertible between a first state in which an opening at the front of the storage case is closed and a second state in which at least a part of the opening of the storage case is opened and the telephone jack can be operated from the front.

[0009] According to the above configuration, in a transmitter having a transmitter main body portion provided with a switch and a telephone jack inside and a front panel portion, a link mechanism is provided between the front panel portion and the storage case to move the front panel portion so that the front portion of the transmitter main body portion can be released. Therefore, it is possible to convert the internal telephone jack to a usable state without providing an opening / closing door that covers the front of the telephone jack on the front panel portion. As a result, the boundaries between components on the front of the transmitter can be reduced, the harmony with the interior decoration of the building can be achieved, and the sense of incongruity can be reduced, thereby improving the aesthetics of the transmitter. In addition, since there is no opening / closing door in front of the telephone jack, there is also an advantage that mischief can be prevented.

[0010] Here, preferably, the link mechanism is a parallel link mechanism having a pair of arm members parallel to each other. The front panel portion is configured to be convertible between the first state and the second state while maintaining a posture parallel to the installation surface by the parallel link mechanism. According to such a configuration, since the front panel portion can be moved by the parallel link mechanism to release the front portion of the transmitter main body portion while maintaining a posture parallel to the installation surface, the amount of protrusion of the front panel portion forward in the state where the front panel portion is opened can be reduced, thereby facilitating the operation when using the telephone jack.

[0011] Furthermore, preferably, the configuration is such that two sets of the parallel link mechanisms are provided so as to sandwich the storage case. According to such a configuration, since there are two sets of parallel link mechanisms, the stability of the conversion operation of the front panel portion and the durability of the link mechanism can be enhanced.

[0012] Also, preferably, the arm member has an insertion hole for a pin connecting the front panel portion formed at the front end portion, and a pin for connecting the storage case can be inserted at the rear end portion, and a long hole that is long in the longitudinal direction of the arm member is formed. According to such a configuration, since a long hole is formed at the rear end portion of the arm member, a two-stage operation of once pulling out the front panel portion forward and then moving it parallel to the installation surface becomes possible, and the operation of opening the front panel portion can be performed smoothly.

[0013] Furthermore, preferably, the storage case is provided with a protrusion that engages with the long hole in the first state. According to such a configuration, in a simple configuration, the state in which the front portion of the transmitter main body is closed by the front panel portion can be locked and maintained.

[0014] Also, the link mechanism is constituted by a slide member that is pin-connected to a predetermined portion of the front panel portion and is movable in the front-rear direction along the wall of the storage case. The storage case is provided with a guide member for guiding the slide member. A locking piece that can be engaged with and disengaged from a locking portion provided at a corresponding portion of the storage case may be provided at a portion of the front panel portion different from the predetermined portion.

[0015] According to the above configuration, by pulling out and rotating the front panel portion forward, the front portion of the transmitter main body can be released, and by engaging the locking piece provided at the upper portion of the front panel portion with the locking portion provided at the upper portion of the storage case, the state in which the front portion of the transmitter main body is closed by the front panel portion can be locked and maintained.

[0016] Also, preferably, the slide member has a plate shape, and the guide member is constituted by a rib-shaped guide rail provided on the wall portion of the storage case and forming a groove with which the side portion of the slide member can be engaged. According to such a configuration, a structure for guiding the slide member can be realized with a relatively simple configuration.

Advantages of the Invention

[0017] According to the transmitter of the present invention, in a transmitter having a telephone jack inside, while ensuring the function of making the telephone jack usable from the front of the transmitter, the boundaries between components are reduced to achieve harmony with the interior decoration of the building and make it less likely to cause a sense of incongruity, thereby improving the aesthetic appearance.

Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention

[0019] Hereinafter, with reference to the drawings, embodiments of a transmitter for fire notification to which the present invention is applied will be described. The transmitter 10 for fire notification in the present embodiment (hereinafter simply referred to as the transmitter) has a function of transmitting a signal notifying the occurrence of an abnormality to a fire receiver by strongly pressing a push button provided on the front to turn on an internal switch when an abnormality such as a fire occurs, and is configured to be installed and used on a building wall or a door of a fire hydrant box.

[0020] (First Embodiment) Figs. 1 to 3 show the transmitter of the first embodiment. Among them, Fig. 1 is an overall perspective view of the transmitter, Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional side view showing the internal structure of the transmitter, and Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional side view showing the procedure of the opening operation of the front panel of the transmitter shown in Fig. 2. As shown in Fig. 1(A), the transmitter of the first embodiment is composed of a box-shaped transmitter main body 10 and a front panel portion 20 provided at the front of the transmitter main body 10.

[0021] As shown in Fig. 1(B), the transmitter main body 10 includes a box-shaped storage case 13 having a push button type switch 11 and a telephone jack 12 for inserting a plug at the tip of the cord of the handset built therein. On the other hand, in the front panel portion 20, a circular push button 21 is provided at the center of the front, and an annular light emitting portion 22 is arranged around it. Note that the push button 21 and the light emitting portion 22 are formed of a light guiding material having light transmissibility such as acrylic resin, and are configured to perform light emission display by guiding the light from the light emitting element 17 disposed in the storage case 13 and emitting it to the front.

[0022] As shown in Fig. 2(A), a spring receiving member 14 having a recess on the opening side (left side in the figure) is inserted into the storage case 13 of the transmitter main body 10. A spring storage portion 16a for storing a compression spring 15 on the inner side (right side in the figure) is provided in the opening of the spring receiving member 14, and a slide member 16 movable along the peripheral wall of the spring receiving member 14 is inserted therein. The back surface of a push button 21 is joined to the front surface of the slide member 16. In addition, a cylindrical inner guide wall 14a and an outer guide wall 14b are formed at the center of the spring receiving member 14. A pressing portion 16b fitted to the guide wall 14a is formed at the center of the inner surface of the slide member 16. Around the pressing portion 16b, the spring storage portion 16a having a double cylindrical shape and inserted into the inner guide wall 14a and the outer guide wall 14b is formed.

[0023] Furthermore, an actuator portion 11a of a push button switch 11 housed in the storage case 13 of the transmitter main body 10 is inserted into the outer guide wall 14b of the spring receiving member 14 and arranged to face the pressing portion 16b. The spring receiving member 14 and the slide member 16 are arranged with a gap δ therebetween. When the push button 21 is pushed into the transmitter main body 10 side, the slide member 16 moves, and the pressing portion 16b abuts against the actuator portion 11a and presses it, so that the contacts of the switch 11 can be closed to be in an on state.

[0024] A plurality of screw insertion holes can be formed in the front plate portion 14c of the spring receiving member 14, and the spring receiving member 14 can be configured to be coupled to the front panel 20 by inserting screws through these screw insertion holes. In addition, a front plate portion 14c is formed at the opening side end of the spring receiving member 14, and a light emitting portion 22 made of a light guiding material and having an annular shape is joined to the front plate portion 14c. On the other hand, a shade portion 22b covering the outer peripheral surface of the front plate portion 14c of the spring receiving member 14 is provided at the outer edge portion of the light emitting portion 22. Further, on the front side of the outer edge portion of the slide member 16, as shown by the dashed line in FIG. 1, a plurality (eight in the figure) of light-emitting elements (LEDs) 17 are arranged along the circumferential direction around the push button 21 at predetermined angular intervals.

[0025] Also, the disc-shaped push button 21 is provided with a pressing portion 21a that fits into the central opening of the annular light-emitting portion 22 at the center, and a flange portion 21b is provided on the outer periphery of the back side. A plurality of light introduction portions 21c formed of columnar protrusions protruding rearward are formed at portions of the peripheral edge of the flange portion 21b facing the light-emitting element 17. The emission color of the light-emitting element 17 is, for example, the same red as that of a conventional indicator light. Instead of using a red light-emitting element, a white light-emitting element may be used and a light guide material colored red may be used to form the push button 21 and the light-emitting portion 22. Note that a light introduction portion protruding so that the end face faces the light-emitting element 17 may be provided in the light-emitting portion 22, and the push button 21 may be formed of an opaque member and only the light-emitting portion 22 may be configured to emit light for display. Further, although it has been described that the push button 21 and the light-emitting portion 22 are formed of a light guide material such as a resin having light transmissibility such as glass or acrylic resin, this light guide material may have particulate diffusing material mixed therein.

[0026] In the transmitter of this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2(B), the ends of a pair of parallel arms 28A and 28B closer to the front panel 20 are coupled to the side surface of the spring receiving member 14 by pins 27A and 27B, and pins 29A and 29B implanted on the side surface of the storage case 13 of the transmitter main body 10 are engaged with elongated holes 28a and 28b formed at the other ends of the arms 28A and 28B, thereby providing a parallel link mechanism. Although not shown, a similar parallel link mechanism is also provided on the opposite side surface. That is, two sets of arms 28A and 28B constituting the parallel link mechanism are provided.

[0027] Accordingly, as shown in FIG. 3, the front panel 20 is configured to be rotated downward while maintaining a vertical posture, exposing the telephone jack 12 provided in the storage case 13, so that the plug of the handset can be inserted from the front. Moreover, at this time, since the elongated holes 28a and 28b with which the pins 29A and 29B engage are formed at the end portions on the rotation center side of the pair of arms 28A and 28B constituting the link mechanism, as shown in FIG. 3(A), after the front panel 20 is once pulled out forward and moved, it can be rotated downward as shown in FIG. 3(B).

[0028] Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 2(B), on the side surface of the storage case 13, there is provided a protrusion 29C having a diameter substantially the same as the width of the elongated hole 28a at the end of the arm 28A, which engages with the elongated hole 28a when the arms 28A and 28B are rotated to the upper position to prevent rotation. The tip of the protrusion 29C is formed in a hemispherical shape, and when the front panel 20 is strongly pulled forward in the state of FIG. 2(B), the engagement between the elongated hole 28a at the end of the arm 28A and the protrusion 29C is disengaged so that it can be rotated.

[0029] Note that the attachment of the transmitter to the wall surface or the mounting panel as the installation surface can be configured, for example, by forming an opening into which the storage case 13 can be inserted in the wall surface or the mounting panel, providing screw holes around the opening, inserting the storage case 13 into this opening, joining the flange portion 13a to the wall surface or the mounting panel, and screwing screws into the screw holes of the flange portion 13a and the screw holes around the opening of the mounting panel. Alternatively, an external thread portion may be formed on the outer periphery of the opening side end of the storage case 13, and the ring nut described in the aforementioned prior art document 2 may be screwed onto this external thread portion, and the mounting panel may be sandwiched between the ring nut and the flange portion 13a or the front plate portion 14c for attachment.

[0030] As described above, since the transmitter of this embodiment is configured to move the front panel 20 downward to expose the phone jack 12, there is no need to provide an opening / closing door on the front panel 20 to cover the front of the phone jack 12. Therefore, the number of components on the front and the boundaries between the components are reduced, and the boundaries become less noticeable. Also, since the entire front surfaces of the push button 21 and the light-emitting part 22 serve as light-emitting surfaces and emit light, the boundary between the push button 21 and the light-emitting part 22 becomes less noticeable. Therefore, it can be harmonized with the interior of the building, making it less likely to cause a sense of incongruity and improving the aesthetics. Also, since an opening / closing door is not required, even if the transmitter is miniaturized, the light-emitting part 22 can be made relatively large, avoiding a decrease in visibility due to a reduction in the light-emitting display area. Further, since there is no opening / closing door, even if the entire transmitter is small, the push button 21 can be made relatively large, improving the operability.

[0031] (Other embodiments) Figs. 4 to 10 show other embodiments of the transmitter of the present invention. Among them, Figs. 4 and 5 are cross-sectional structure diagrams of the transmitter of the second embodiment, Fig. 6 is a cross-sectional structure diagram of the transmitter of the third embodiment, Figs. 7 and 8 are cross-sectional structure diagrams of the transmitter of the fourth embodiment, and Figs. 9 and 10 are front views showing the fifth embodiment and its modified example. As shown in Fig. 4, the transmitter of the second embodiment, like the transmitter of the first embodiment (Fig. 1), includes a transmitter main body part 10 having a storage case 13 incorporating a push button type switch 11, and a front panel part 20 provided with a circular push button 21 at the center of the front and an annular light-emitting part 22 provided around it.

[0032] In the second embodiment, a flange part 21b is provided on the front side of the push button 21, and a pressing part 21g of the switch 11 and a sleeve member 21f surrounding it protrude rearward on the back side. Also, a holding member 25 corresponding to the slide member 16 and the spring receiving member 14 of the transmitter of the first embodiment (Fig. 1) is integrally provided on the back side of the front panel 20. Also, a pair of pressing members 24a and 24b biased toward the center by compression springs 15a and 15b are disposed in a direction perpendicular to the central axis so as to sandwich the sleeve member 21f. Tapered portions having the same angle of contact with each other are provided at the tips of the pressing members 24a and 24b and on the outer peripheral surface of the sleeve member 21f, and the push button 21 is configured to be pushed forward by the component force of the restoring force acting from the compression spring on the tapered portion. When the push button 21 is pressed from the front, the push button 21 is moved rearward against the spring force, and the cylindrical pressing portion 21g on the back contacts the actuator portion 11a of the push button type switch 11 and pushes it in, so that the switch 11 is turned on.

[0033] Furthermore, in the second embodiment, a cylindrical member 25b corresponding to the outer guide wall 14b of the spring receiving member 14 of the first embodiment is provided on the holding member 25, and the sleeve member 21f of the push button 21 is fitted therein and configured to be guided in the front-rear direction. A light emitting element 17 is disposed behind the flange portion 21b of the push button 21. The holding member 25 is coupled to the front panel 20 in a state of being joined to the back surface of the light emitting portion 22 at the front surface plate portion 25c on the front end side, and a slide plate 26 that protrudes rearward and slides along the inner surface of the bottom wall of the storage case 13 is provided at the lower portion. A rib-shaped guide rail 13b is provided parallel to the bottom wall on the lower inner surface of the side wall of the storage case 13. The side end portion of the slide plate 26 engages with a groove formed by the guide rail 13b and the bottom wall of the storage case 13, so that, as shown in FIG. 4(B), it can be moved forward while remaining in a horizontal posture and is supported.

[0034] Although not shown, the lower part of the side wall of the holding member 25 is pivotally connected to the front end of the slide plate 26 by a pin. As shown in Fig. 5(A), by tilting the front panel 20 in the state where it is pulled forward, the front part of the storage case 13 can be opened to expose a telephone jack (not shown) inside. Further, when a screw insertion hole 13c for inserting a screw for fixing the storage case 13 to the mounting panel is formed in the upper part of the flange portion 13a of the storage case 13, the front panel 20 can be tilted forward to expose the screw insertion hole 13c and the mounting screw can be operated from the front.

[0035] In addition, a locking piece 25d protruding rearward is provided at the rear end of the upper wall of the holding member 25, and an engaging hole 13d is formed at the corresponding position of the storage case 13. By engaging the claw at the tip of the locking piece 25d with the engaging hole 13d, the front panel 20 can be locked so as not to move forward. Note that when the upper end of the front panel 20 is pulled forward, the claw at the tip of the locking piece 25d can be disengaged from the engaging hole 13d. Instead of pulling the upper end of the front panel 20 forward, the front panel 20 may be rotated to disengage the engagement between the claw at the tip of the locking piece 25d and the engaging hole 13d to release the lock.

[0036] Furthermore, a mountain-shaped bent portion 13e protruding upward is provided at the front end portion of the guide rail 13b, and a notch through which a rib can pass is provided at the rear end of the slide plate 26. As shown in Fig. 5(B), the front end of the slide plate 26 can be rotated upward so that the screw insertion hole 13c formed in the lower part of the flange portion 13a of the storage case 13 can be exposed and the mounting screw can be operated from the front. In the second embodiment, the light emitting portion 22 that constitutes the front panel portion 20 includes a light guide member 22A in which a light introduction portion 22c is formed at a portion facing a plurality of light emitting elements 17 on the LED substrate 19, and a light transmissive cover member 22B that covers the surface of the light guide member 22A. Among these, the light guide member 22A has a curved surface on the front side and a flat surface on the back side, and a reflective layer is formed on this flat surface by light reflection processing.

[0037] The cover member 22B is composed of a shape-retaining member formed of a soft material having light transmissibility such as silicone resin and capable of retaining its shape, and a light diffusion film formed of a flexible material such as a synthetic resin sheet or cloth provided so as to cover the surface of the shape-retaining member. And the cover member 22B is formed so that the flange portion 22b at the outer edge portion of the light guide member 22A covers from the side portion to the back portion. Thereby, even if an external impact is applied to the cover member 22B, the shape-retaining member deforms to absorb the impact, and surface damage can be prevented. Further, since the surface of the shape-retaining member is covered with the light diffusion film, the light guided by the light guide member 22A is diffused and emitted forward, so that a blurred and soft texture can be given. Further, since the front surface side of the front panel portion 20 is curved, the design is improved, and it is easy to harmonize with the interior decoration of the building, which is the installation environment of the transmitter, and it is less likely to cause a sense of incongruity.

[0038] The transmitter of the third embodiment shown in FIG. 6 has the same configuration as the transmitter of the second embodiment (FIG. 4) in the front panel portion 20, and a slide plate 26 that projects rearward and slides along the inner surface of the bottom wall of the storage case 13 is provided at the lower part. Further, a rib-shaped guide rail 13b is provided at the lower part of the inner surface of the side wall of the storage case 13 in parallel with the bottom wall. The differences from the second embodiment are as follows: there is no holding member 25 provided on the front panel portion 20. Instead, in the third embodiment, a member similar to the slide member 16 (Fig. 2) in the first embodiment is provided on the side of the front panel portion 20, and a member similar to the spring receiving member 14 (Fig. 2) in the first embodiment is provided on the side of the storage case 13. The compression springs 15a and 15b are provided parallel to the pressing direction of the push button 21 in the same manner as in the transmitter of the first embodiment.

[0039] In addition, a locking claw 16e protruding rearward is provided on the back surface of the slide member 16 on the side of the front panel portion 20, and a locking piece 14e is provided at a corresponding position at the front end of the upper wall of the spring receiving member 14. By engaging the locking claw 16e with the claw at the tip of the locking piece 14e, the front panel 20 is configured to be in a locked state where it does not move forward. Also in this embodiment, similar to the transmitter of the second embodiment, as shown in Fig. 6(C), by pulling out the front panel 20 forward and then tilting it, the front part of the storage case 13 can be opened to expose a telephone jack (not shown) inside. In addition, the screw insertion holes 13c through which the mounting screws formed on the upper and lower portions of the flange portion 13a of the storage case 13 are inserted can be exposed, and the screws can be operated from the front.

[0040] The transmitter of the fourth embodiment shown in Fig. 7 is provided with a rotating shaft 27 protruding rearward at the upper part of the back surface of the front panel portion 20, and a shaft support portion 13f having a hole into which the rotating shaft 27 can be inserted is provided at the upper part of the storage case 13. Thereby, as shown in Fig. 7(B), after pulling out the front panel portion 20 forward, as shown in Fig. 7(C), by rotating the front panel portion 20 around the rotating shaft 27, as shown in Fig. 8(B), the front end opening of the storage case 13 can be opened to expose the telephone jack 12.

[0041] As shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, the transmitter according to the fifth embodiment is configured such that the front panel portion 20 can be divided into two parts left and right at the center, and the front panel portion 20 is moved or rotated left and right so that a part of the front end opening of the storage case 13 can be seen from the front, thereby exposing the telephone jack 12 and the screw insertion hole 13c.

[0042] As described above, the present invention has been described based on the embodiments, but the present invention is not limited to those of the above embodiments. For example, in the first embodiment, the arms 28A and 28B constituting the link mechanism are provided so as to be rotatable in a vertical plane to move the front panel 20 in a parallel direction in the vertical direction. However, the arms 28A and 28B may be provided so as to be rotatable in a horizontal plane to move the front panel 20 in a parallel direction in the horizontal direction. The same applies to the second embodiment. Further, in the above embodiment, the arms 28A and 28B constituting the link mechanism are provided between the front panel 20 and the side wall of the storage case 13, but may be provided between the front panel 20 and a part other than the side wall of the storage case 13 (for example, the flange portion 13a).

[0043] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the case where the present invention is applied to a transmitter in which the transmitter main body and the light emitting display portion (light emitting portion) are integrally configured has been described, but the present invention can also be applied to a conventional type transmitter without a light emitting display portion.
