[First embodiment] A compact case 100 according to a first embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 5. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the compact case 100 of this embodiment includes a case body 10 and a lid 20 that covers the top surface (opening surface) of the case body 10 in an openable and closable manner. The lid 20 is rotatably attached to the case body 10 via a pivoting portion (a body-side pivoting portion 11, a lid-side pivoting portion 21).
