Abstract

To predict working hours in a distribution center by considering various variable factors affecting the working hours.SOLUTION: An information processing system has conveying devices that are each controlled by a warehouse controller and can convey storage parts storing articles, and terminals that are each connected with the warehouse controller and give and receive work information in a work station where one or more types of work related to storage and retrieval of the articles in the storage parts are executed. The warehouse controller has a storage unit that acquires, from the terminal, information on a result of storage and retrieval work in the work station and stores it as log information; and a control unit that, based on the log information, generates a plurality of pieces of actual result data related to working hours for each of a plurality of periods of preset different lengths for each type of one or more types of work, and based on the plurality of pieces of actual result data, estimates predicted working hours for each of at least one or more types of work.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
