Abstract

To provide a basket lid of luggage basket for a golf cart, which can prevent appearance of the basket lid from being impaired.SOLUTION: A basket lid 100 of a luggage basket for a golf cart includes: one top surface 101; two traveling-direction-side surfaces 103; and two width-direction-side surfaces 105. The traveling-direction-side surface 103 has a regular pentagonal shape. The top surface 101 is formed of two top-surface-forming sides 103c, and has a chevron shape when viewed from the traveling-direction-side surface 103. A surface of a region R103 on a rear seat GC8 side with respect to a highest point P103 of the traveling-direction-side surface 103 is formed of a slope and has no horizontal surface. This configuration can easily form, on the top surface 101 of the basket lid 100, a surface that makes it difficult for people to stably place objects or for people to stably rest their elbow on the top surface 101, thereby, preventing people from placing objects or resting their elbow on the top surface 101, so as to prevent deformation of the upper surface 101 such as dents. Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a lid for a luggage basket of a golf cart, and particularly to one that can prevent damage to the appearance of the lid.

Background Art

[0002] A golf cart is a means of transportation used on a golf course for moving within the golf course and also for carrying a player and luggage such as a golf bag used by the player (see Non-Patent Document 1).

[0003] Some golf carts have a luggage basket for storing a player's luggage that is not stored in the golf bag, such as drinks and towels, on the rear side of the rear seat (see Non-Patent Document 2). For a luggage basket for a golf cart with an open top, since it can be taken away by animals such as crows, a lid is often arranged.

Whether the basket lid is box-shaped or plate-shaped, if the top surface is flat, i.e., horizontal, players often place their belongings on top of the basket lid rather than inside the basket. The impact of placing belongings, the weight of the belongings themselves, especially the weight of large items such as cooler boxes, can cause the horizontal surface of the basket lid to deform into a concave shape, damaging the appearance of the basket lid.
