Abstract
To provide a white aluminum member having a high degree of whiteness by using a simple electrolytic condition and not having a burn failure.SOLUTION: An aluminum member includes a base material containing aluminum or an aluminum alloy and an anodic oxide film consisting of a barrier layer and a porous layer on the surface of the base material. The variance of the film thickness of the anodic oxide film, which is a standard deviation from the mean film thickness of the anodic oxide film, is 0.05-0.2 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
