Abstract

This utility model relates to catalysis in gas feedstock processing and ecology, and can be used in carbon dioxide utilization technologies through catalytic methanation. The technical result achieved is an increase in CO₂ conversion under high-temperature methanation conditions while simultaneously reducing catalyst cost and simplifying its composition by eliminating precious metals. A NiO-CeO2 / Li4SiO4 catalyst is proposed for the process of carbon dioxide methanation at high temperature, containing nickel oxide and cerium oxide on a support, the support containing lithium orthosilicate (Li₄SiO₄) in the following ratio of components, wt.%: NiO – 15; CeO2 – 7; Li4SiO4 – 78. The catalyst is obtained by capillary impregnation according to the moisture capacity of the support, followed by drying and calcination. When using the catalyst, the following indicators are achieved: CO₂ conversion reaches 68.0%; the yield of CH4 is 4.2%;
