MODULAR ANTI-GLARE FENCE FOR INSTALLATION ON VEHICULAR ROADWAYS

Abstract

The present invention relates to a modular anti-glare barrier installable on road containment structures of a vehicular roadway, comprising: a mounting board fixed to one of the road containment structures by means of anchoring devices; one or more support bases that are assembled on the mounting board, each firmly holding an anti-glare vane, wherein each anti-glare vane is oriented substantially vertically, presenting an angle of inclination θ with respect to the transverse plane of the mounting board, which prevents glare caused by the light of vehicles traveling in the opposite direction of the vehicular roadway; one or more reinforcing ribs that structurally connect each anti-glare vane with its respective support base; wherein each anti-glare vane, its support base and its respective reinforcing ribs are integrally joined, forming a single body;and, wherein the mounting board, anti-glare paddles, support bases and reinforcing ribs are manufactured from one or more materials selected from: polypropylene, low-density polyethylene, high-density polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene terephthalate, aluminum, wood, and / or combinations thereof.;
