OZONE EXPERIMENTAL DEVICE FOR WATER TREATMENT RESEARCH

Abstract

This device, mounted on a movable shelf with quick-connect / disconnect mechanisms, is designed for typical ozonation experiments involving water and / or functional sludge. It is adaptable, useful for conducting and collecting data during research, and ensures user safety. It performs basic functions such as gas conduction, ozone production and reaction, parameter measurement (concentrations, flow rates, temperature, pressure, etc.), automatic ozone concentration data acquisition, and residual ozone destruction. Its versatility allows for batch / continuous experiments and simple / advanced / catalytic oxidation processes. It facilitates water sampling for characterization before and after treatment and allows for determining the amount of ozone actually reacted, not just the amount supplied.
