Abstract
A method to obtain a vacuum sealed package (1) containing a plurality of absorbent articles (100), such as one or more diapers, said package comprising an air-impermeable outer encasement (200) encasing the plurality of absorbent articles (100) wherein the outer encasement (200) is vacuum sealed such that the plurality of absorbent articles (100) are held in the outer encasement (200) in a compressed manner; wherein the air-impermeable outer encasement (200) comprises a first film having a thickness t ranging between 5 - 500 micron.
