Abstract

A light assembly comprises a light module portion and an attached tail portion. The tail is flexible, elongated, and self-supporting, allowing it to be configured to repeatedly bend into various shapes, including spirals. By bending the tail, it can be removably attached to various items, such as tools and / or portable implements. Therefore, any item of this type that does not have pre-existing lights can be easily modified to include a light source. The tail can be covered, at least for the most part, with a soft and comfortable protective cover. The entire light assembly can be easily made portable (mobile) with the battery-powered light module and with the light assembly having a total length that often ranges from 60.96 cm to 20.32 cm (24 to 8 inches).
