Paper and agricultural waste fuel briquettes

Abstract

The present invention discloses the composition and process of making paper and agricultural waste fuel briquette. The said briquette has a percent composition of 33.33% paper sludge, 23.33% corn cob, 20% coconut husk and 23.33% rice husk. Briquettes with varying components and with higher composition of rice husk and corn cob have better quality. The process of producing such fuel briquette comprising the steps of: collecting paper and agricultural wastes; shredding and cutting of coconut husk; boiling, chopping and blending of corn cobs; cutting, soaking, blending and drying of paper sludge; mixing of rice husks, corn cob, coconut shell and paper sludge with cassava starch binder; pressing and molding the briquette mixture.
