Abstract

The utility model relates to an integrated copra processing machine designed to perform sequential shredding and oil extraction within a single compact apparatus. The machine comprises a support frame carrying a hopper for receiving copra and a shredding assembly driven by a motor and equipped with multiple shredding blades configured to comminute copra into shredded material. A rotary steel press is mechanically coupled to the shredding assembly through a transmission coupling that transfers rotational motion under pure mechanical linkage, enabling continuous oil extraction immediately after shredding. The extracted coconut oil is directed through an oil collection outlet into a receptacle positioned in fluid communication with the extractor chamber. A feed control mechanism regulates the rate of copra introduction into the shredding assembly, while a belt and pulley arrangement provides selectable speed ratios between the shredding and extraction stages. Under standard operating conditions, the machine is capable of processing approximately five kilograms of copra to produce at least 1.25 liters of coconut oil, with shredding completed in approximately 1,500 seconds. The integrated configuration improves processing efficiency, reduces handling steps, and supports small-scale or localized coconut oil production.
